[RT] As further evidence that the US school system has lost the plot, students in Georgia were instructed to consider ’eating babies’ as a way of solving world hunger. How much more depraved does it have to get before people wake up?
In the ongoing series entitled ’US Schools Go Insane,’ one institution apparently thought that by slapping a ’satire’ sticker on the most profane idea imaginable, the contraband would go unnoticed. On behalf of satire, I’m happy to report it didn't work.
As part of the inventive English lesson, which probably spoiled more than one trip to the cafeteria, high school students at Richmond Hill were tasked with finding ways of ’raising and eating of babies to solve the world hunger problem’.
Jonathan Swift’s A Modest Proposal For preventing the Children of Poor People From being a Burthen to Their Parents or Country, and For making them Beneficial to the Publick? We read that back in high school, too.
Yum. Rhonda Thomas, founder and president of Truth in Education, broke down the details of the class assignment in a shocking interview with The New American. The information from the lesson plan that she divulged is nothing short of — as Thomas herself described it — "satanic."
"Since the child has passed we don’t need to take up any more land for cemeteries so we slap [the babies] on the grill and cook their flesh and make delicious hamburgers...For mass production, we would encourage the US government to create a business negotiation with China about trying to reduce their population by donating children to our government," the instruction stated.
"We also take children from all organizations, including foster care."
This ribald lesson in ’satire’ does not end there. It goes on to discuss the creation of a ’Dahmer Mini Camp,’ where the motto is ’you are what you eat.’ For the uninitiated, ’Dahmer’ is an allusion to Jeffrey Dahmer, the late American serial killer who not only preyed on black men, but had an appetite for them as well. Once your belly laughing has subsided, take a guess as to the demographic that would be targeted for the baby burgers? Give yourself an ’A’ if you said, "Low income, poverty areas and countries," the very communities, incidentally, that Planned Parenthood ...has received federal funding since 1970, when President Richard Nixon signed into law the Family Planning Services and Population Research Act. It is sometimes described as the gynecololgical wing of the Democratic party... has been accused of catering to in the past.

I think this actually was an inventive English lesson, an upper HS class. Could tie it to Swift's essay of course, but also various other satirical or dystopian works.

Why not just cut to the chase and compel teachers to give all students their preferred grades? Or, better yet, cut out all the unnecessary expense of schools and teachers (and administrators) and just mail out diplomas. I'm sure the same people handling mail ballots could manage it.

"Organized retail crime continues to be a challenge facing retailers across San Francisco, and we are not immune to that," Caruso told SFGate. "During this time to help combat this issue, we increased our investments in security measures in stores across the city to 46 times our chain average in an effort to provide a safe environment." "Not that it cost us any money, but still..."
San Francisco Mayor London Breed pushed back against Walgreens' stated reasoning for closing the stores. Boy, howdy. That's the way to stop them leaving.
"They are saying (shoplifting is) the primary reason, but I also think when a place is not generating revenue, and when they're saturated - SF has a lot of Walgreens locations all over the city - so I do think that there are other factors that come into play," she told news hounds last week. "Meh! Five stores? We got lots left. That's still a healthy goose."

The stores stopped reporting because the police told them they were "too busy to waste time on misdemeanors". In a shoplifting case I was a juror on the local police didn't feel like investigating until the store manager 'discovered' enough 'missing' items (funny thing they also said they had skipped the starting inventory that morning...) to elevate it from misdemeanor to Felony.

Why report a "shoplifting incident" if the cops won't do anything about? Walgreens shouldn't bother trying to explain. Let the good people of San Francisco figure it out for themselves. Maybe when it's a hollowed out skeleton of a city like Detroit some of them will start to wonder.

[FOX] Planeloads of underage migrants are being flown secretly into suburban New York in an effort by President Biden’s administration to quietly resettle them across the region, The Post has learned. Across Blue State regions of course. The migration to Red States has created a census and political district representation problem.
The charter flights originate in Texas, where the ongoing border crisis has overwhelmed local immigration officials, and have been underway since at least August, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Last week, The Post saw two planes land at the Westchester County Airport, where most of the passengers who got off appeared to be children and teens, with a small portion appearing to be men in their 20s.
Westchester County cops stood by as the passengers — whose flights arrived at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday and 9:52 p.m. Friday — got off and piled into buses.
Some of them were later seen meeting up with relatives or sponsors in New Jersey, or being dropped off at a residential facility on Long Island.
A Post analysis of online flight-tracking data suggests that around 2,000 migrants nabbed after sneaking into the US from Mexico have arrived at the airport outside White Plains on 21 flights since Aug. 8.
Records show some of the planes touched down between midnight and 6:30 a.m. — when a voluntary curfew is in effect — with two arriving from Houston at 2:13 a.m. and 4:29 a.m. on Aug. 20.
The clandestine nature of the operation raises questions about how the White House is dealing with a surge in unaccompanied minors.
The most recent figures from US Customs and Border Protection show that just during July and August, 37,805 unaccompanied minors were caught entering the US from Mexico — sometimes after being abandoned by professional smugglers known as "coyotes."

"He is now endorsing candidates for secretary of state in battleground states, candidates who are all in on the big lie," Tapper said, referring to the notion the 2020 election was stolen.
"If we have identified the pressure points where the guardrails look most vulnerable, that's where we should be focusing so much of our efforts in terms of strengthening," Stewart responded.
"The encouraging thing," he added, "is watching on a grassroots level, people that are really viewing it as something that they want to protect and that they want to strengthen."
