Newsome and his ilk have killed off California, kaput, croaked, finis. Too many liberals and radicals have killed off the golden goose. Short of a miracle, California is dead and people are fleeing to other states.

In 2017 the city was named as the fifth most business-friendly in the nation. It took only three years for the city to degenerate to the point where it became a national embarrassment, with antifa and Black Lives Matter bullying taxpayers and occasionally shooting one as an example to the others... hasn’t quite crossed that line this year but it seems inevitable. So far this year, 68 people have been killed compared to a high-water mark of 70 who were killed back in 1987. Of course the population of Portland is almost double what it was in 1987. Still, the city had just 36 homicides in all of 2019, so a sudden surge to what will likely be double that in 2021 is worrisome.
Fatal shootings in almost all sections of the city have followed fistfights, social media disputes, and drug deals gone bad. People sitting in cars, relaxing after work with friends in a bar, attending house parties or walking in a park have been rubbed out.
Forensic analysis of spent bullet casings from scene of the crimes reveals connections between many of the shootings, pointing to gangs and retaliation as frequent drivers of the gun violence, Sherlocks say...
From January through the end of September, police counted a total of 943 shootings that killed or injured 307 people. That compares to 488 shootings and 126 people killed or injured in all of last year.
During that same period, police recovered 4,909 bullet casings. That compares to 4,652 in all of 2020.

[THEPARADISE.NG] One could feel the tension at a Clark County School District board meeting as one fed-up dad spoke for a group of fourteen parents while serving a $200 million lawsuit over mask mandates. Watch:
"This is segregation based off of your own fears and your own personal interests," the unidentified father argued. "The people in this country have had enough, and we are fighting back."
"I have something to give you," he then said. "Security, would you do me a favor? Would you please hand those forms to the board members? You’ve been officially served a $200 million lawsuit with six complaints and violations or multiple amendments."
"Your job is not to be concerned with the children’s health," he added. "You’re not nurses. You’re not doctors. You are not responsible for their health organization. Your only focus is on our children’s education, and the education system here is 50th in the state, and you make almost more money than anybody else."
"It is very clear that you have failed in doing that job," he said. "This country is not alone. It’s time that we wake up. Now, we’re gonna do a lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit. We can throw it out as much as you want. We’re gonna keep this paperwork on your desk and keep the problem going until we get exactly what we want."
"This is not a negotiation, we will have our freedom of choice, and we’re gonna see you in court," he added to applause.
The lawsuit was served in late September, and was reported by the Las Vegas Sun.
"Another set of parents has sued the Clark County School District in federal court to eliminate its coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic mask mandate," the Las Vegas Sun reported. "They want $200 million in damages and criminal charges for top district officials."
"Fourteen plaintiffs, with 18 children between them, said in the suit filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas that the school board and CCSD Superintendent Jesus Jara ’blatantly and maliciously’ violated the Constitution with the requirement," the report continued.
"Plaintiffs’ children have constitutionally protected interests in the benefits that come from them not being subject to the Board’s mask mandate, including the ability to pursue an education without being subjected to health risks that are not offset by any scientifically provable benefits," the parents argued in the complaint.
"The parents, who are representing themselves, claim violation of due process rights and allege that Jara and the school board committed felony threats ’to injure a person’ because masks have been ’scientifically proven’ to cause physical and mental harm," the report added.
Mask mandates have not been shown to be effective at curbing the spread of Covid-19. A study came out this week that showed there was no statistically significant difference in Florida between school districts that followed the law and allowed mask choice and those that illegally imposed a mask mandate.
Even setting aside the scientific arguments for the moment, one can witness the relief of one boy who was informed by his mother that a group of unidentified parents won a lawsuit against the mask mandates.
That really just says it all.

~5m (?) in charter schools
~4-4.5m homeschooled
So public schools are already down to about 76% of the total, having fallen from close to 85% just 15 years ago and CA. 80% pre-COVID.
Public schools' % of total enrolled will drop another 3% this year, and maybe 1-1.5% each year for the rest of the next two decades.
That implies that by 2040 public schools will be ca. 50% of total. Those schools will likely be about 80-90% minority in most metro areas.
Most of the nation's white students will be homeschooled or, as is the case for nearly all this nation's politicians' kids, educated in private schools. Homeschooling will probably exceed 20% of total by 2040.
