I guess NYC could enact strict knife control laws. Or ban people from California - which actually has a chance of keeping Californian tourists from being killed in NYC.

Yeah, but what did he say?
Indeed! Apparently, to be a journalist, you must have your curiosity gland removed.
My guess is it was either Authentic Presidential Gibberish or something offensive.
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Abrar Omeish, who serves on the school board of Fairfax County Public Schools and whose father was the director of the Dar al-Hijrah mosque with al-Qaeda ties, spoke out in opposition to a resolution honoring the victims of 9/11.
The controversial mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, had hired Anwar al-Awlaki ... Born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, zapped in Yemen, al-Awlaki was a dual citizen of the U.S. and Yemen. He was an Islamic holy man who was a trainer for al-Qaeda and its franchises. His sermons were attended by three of the 9/11 hijackers, by Fort Hood murderer Nidal Malik Hussein, and Undieboomer Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. He was the first U.S. citizen ever placed on a CIA target list... , an al-Qaeda operative to serve as its imam. Former President Barack Obama Continued on Page 49

These charges are being aimed at the man Travis County, Texas, voters elected to prosecute criminals in November 2020. And the charges stem from one of José Garza’s highest-profile and most controversial cases. Garza was installed with a hefty lift from Soros money. If you've been following Portland and Seattle, that's why this looks so familiar. Otherwise it's just déjà vu.
On the night of July 25, 2020, a group of protesters That'd be antifa/BLM.
illegally took over an intersection in downtown Austin. They approached a car as it was trying to make its way past the crowd through the intersection. Here's the version we saw.
One of the protesters, Garrett Foster, was carrying a loaded AK-47 rifle. He had every right to do that in Texas.
As Foster approached the car in the darkness that night, apparently pointing the rifle at the driver, the driver, That's what he didn't have a right to do. Carry, yes. Threaten, no. Simple, huh?
Army Sgt. Daniel Perry, fired his handgun in Foster’s direction from his car. The right direction, I guess.
Foster was killed. At least one other protester fired at Perry as he drove away. Evidence the threat was real, matched by video.
Perry was later stopped by Austin police and questioned about the shooting. He reportedly told the officers he fired in self-defense as Foster approached with his rifle pointed at him, as photos taken at the scene indicate. Texas castle law extends to one’s car and allows the use of deadly force in self-defense if the driver believes his or her life is in danger. Perry is a concealed handgun permit carrier, indicating a clean criminal record. He was driving for Uber on the night of the shooting and was released after questioning.
Austin Police Detective David Fugitt investigated the shooting and, according to the affidavit, found that Perry shot Foster self-defense and should not face charges.
According to new court documents filed in the case this week, Garza ordered Det. Fugitt to change his testimony before the grand jury, so that Perry would not be exonerated. This led to retaliation against the detective. Since he didn't change his testimony.
When Fugitt refused and stood by his finding of justified homicide, Garza retaliated. That retaliation implicates Austin PD acting Police Chief Joseph Chacon and Assistant Chief Ricardo Guajardo, according to the filing and several others in the case which PJ Media has obtained. Threatened with an internal affairs investigation. Look long enough and you can find something on anyone.
Det. Fugitt is a very experienced investigator with decades of service who has solved dozens of cases. He took copious notes of everything that transpired, according to the filing, including the specific details of the retaliation against him within APD, which came in the form of a threat to his career. "Detective Fugitt, you're accused of not putting a new roll up when you used the last of the toilet paper! That's a mighty serious offense against your fellow officers!"
An Internal Affairs complaint can lead to disciplinary action against a police officer or detective up to and including termination.
The documents call for an evidentiary hearing to determine the facts surrounding Det. Fugitt’s direct accusations against Garza, which include new evidence and also implicate the two leaders of APD. The documents also note that Garza opposes such a hearing, which Sgt. Perry’s defense attorneys interpret as evidence of Garza’s guilt. "Naturally, I oppose such a sordid activity! It is beneath my dignity, sir!"
The document accuses District Attorney Garza of felony criminal conduct under the Texas Penal Code 36.06(a)(1)(A), unethical conduct, and violation of Sgt. Perry’s right to a fair trial under the law as a defendant.
Det. Fugitt’s notes, included in the filing, make clear what the lead detective in the case found based on the evidence.
Other documents filed this week indicate that Perry intends to call Garza, the district attorney whose office is prosecuting him, to the witness stand due to the allegations of misconduct. The highly unusual move would likely disqualify Garza from participating in the prosecution of the case.
[NEWSWEEK] President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. An incredibly corrupt version of Jar-Jar Binks, only well into his dotage. The dumbass who abandoned Afghanistan.... 's new vaccine mandates for federal employees don't apply to members of Congress or those who work for Congress or the federal court system.
Biden issued two executive orders on Thursday requiring vaccination against COVID for federal workers and contractors who work for the federal government. He also asked the Department of Labor to issue an emergency order requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to ensure their workers are vaccinated or tested on a weekly basis.
However, a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package... Biden's order on federal workers applies to employees of the executive branch. The House of Representatives and the Senate belong to the separate legislative branch, and the courts to the judicial branch of the federal government.

England just scrapped vaccine passport plans. People are rioting over the idea in France. Cocky Justin Trudeau's snap election that was supposed to cement a majority for him is going to blow up in his face. Newsome's recall is being predicted to fail by the same people who had "Madame Prexident" Swillary pencilled in. Lots of wheels turning now.

I believe all of them - except, maybe, Rand Paul - are vaccinated.
Honestly would not be surprised to learn they got saline shots. Also, staff are exempt. If they are all vaccinated, why the exemption?
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Former US president Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... used the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks to slam the "inept administration" of Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass. Don't say he didn't warn us... for its "incompetence" over the Afghan withdrawal in a video message on Saturday."This is a very sad day," Trump said in the message, adding that September 11 "represents great sorrow for our country."
"It is also a sad time for the way our war on those that did such harm to our country ended last week," he continued.
Trump was referring to the end of the US war in Afghanistan, launched in the wake of al-Qaeda’s attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington DC.
Al-Qaeda had been sheltering in Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... -held Afghanistan, and the US invasion toppled the Islamist regime in a bid to find the group’s leaders.
But the Taliban soon launched an insurgency and, after two decades of war in which Afghan civilians paid an outsized price, stormed back to power last month as the US withdrew all its troops.
"The leader of our country was made to look like a fool and that can never be allowed to happen," he said.
He blamed "bad planning, incredible weakness and leaders who truly didn’t understand what was happening."
Trump also lamented the deaths of 13 US troops in a kaboom in Kabul last month during the frenzied evacuation from Afghanistan, and the billions of dollars in US military equipment that was left behind and seized by the Taliban "without a shot being fired."
"Joe Biden and his inept administration surrendered in defeat," Trump continued.
"We will struggle to recover from the embarrassment this incompetence has caused."

[NYPOST] President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem machine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family, the guy who bungled Afghanistan...... ’s chief of staff, Ron Klain, gave up the administration’s game by endorsing a tweet from MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle:
"OSHA doing this vaxx mandate as an emergency workplace safety rule is the ultimate work-around for the Federal govt to require vaccinations."
So as with other things — such as the federal eviction moratorium — Biden knows his actions are unconstitutional. He’ll just try to do it anyway with loopholes and gambles that by the time the case winds its way through the courts, it won’t matter.
It’s all so performative and cynical.
Biden isn’t playing to the unvaccinated, who are even less likely to get the shot after being lectured to and insulted by the president.
It’s for smug Democrats who appreciate him lecturing and insulting those people, dividing the nation even more.
Biden could have tried compassion and empathy instead of anger and hectoring. Instead, after his mismanagement of everything from the border to the economy, Biden is trying to lay claim to some moral high ground. Look at those GOP governors, they are "cavalier" with life, he claimed Friday.

If you actually buy that unvaccinated people are dangerous to you, even if you yourself are vaccinated, then it will make for a good reason to stay out of DC and away from federal installations.

[BREITBART] President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier... marked the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by criticizing Americans for the anti-Moslem anger that occurred in the United States after the attacks took place.
"We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Moslem-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion," Biden said in a prerecorded video published for the occasion.
The president said that the principle of "unity" in the country was endangered by the attacks but ultimately prevailed.
"We also saw something all too rare, a true sense of national unity," he recalled. "Unity and resilience — the capacity to recover and repair in the face of trauma, unity in service."
Biden released his pre-recorded video, as the White House confirmed Friday he had no plans to address the nation on the 20th anniversary of the attacks.
He began by recalling a friend of his who lost their son in the attacks in New York City and sympathized with the families who lost loved ones in the attacks.
"America and the world commemorate you and your loved ones, the pieces of your soul," he said.
Biden also recognized the fallen first responders and members of the military who bit the dust in subsequent years.
"It’s so hard, whether it’s the first year or the 20th," he said.
Biden concluded by citing one of his favorite poets, Earnest Hemingway.
"We find strength in its broken places, as Hemingway wrote. We find light in the darkness, we find purpose to repair, renew, and rebuild," he said.
[IsraelTimes] Three presidents and their wives stood somberly side by side earlier at the National September 11 Memorial, sharing a moment of silence to mark the anniversary of the nation’s worst terror attack with a display of unity.
US Presidents Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. S I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass.... , Barack Obama My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it... and Bill Clinton ...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of the word is... all gathered at the site where the World Trade Center towers fell two decades ago. They each wore blue ribbons and held their hands over their hearts as a procession marched a flag through the memorial, watched by hundreds of Americans gathered for the remembrance, some carrying photos of loved ones lost in the attacks.
Note that the two Republican presidents, George W. Bush and Donald Trump, seem to be missing — the cut direct.
Before the event began, a jet flew overhead in an eerie echo of the attacks, drawing a glance from Biden toward the sky. For much of the ceremony, he stood with his arms crossed and head bowed, listening while the names of the victims were read. At one point, the president wiped a tear from his eye.
Biden was a senator when hijackers commandeered four planes and executed the attack. Now he marks the 9/11 anniversary for the first time as commander in chief.
The president was spending Saturday paying his respects at the trio of sites where the planes crashed.

This was no "Religion of Peace" it was spread by conquest. It's offense in Europe did not stall till before the gates of Vienna in 1683.
[Arutz 7] - At a government discussion on Sunday on COVID-19, ministers unanimously approved the proposal to broaden the "Green Class" outline to the entire educational system, Channel 12 reported.
"Regarding the education system - we will adopt the model," added Bennett, adding that after the holidays mass tests would be carried out in the education system.
"This time the distribution will not be through the school but in an alternative logistical way and parents will write a note."
He added, however, that "Today, the Green Pass has a lot of holes. Most of the people don't come with a barcode but rather with a note, and this creates holes, and we will probably stick more tightly to barcodes. We are working on it and we will announce in advance."
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also commented that "Our tolerance for people who do not get vaccinated has run out."
According to Walla, he announced that a genetic scanning mechanism is currently being developed for everyone who comes through the gates of Ben Gurion Airport.
"I call it 'the Omega'. We are working on a mechanism of genetic scanning for everyone who enters Israel. In this way, Israel will become a radar for the virus.
Bennett backed the Minister of Social Equality Meirav Cohen on her statement that "The next variant will come to Israel through Ben Gurion Airport" and said that the genetic mechanism will help deal with it.

“Our”? Royal use of the plural perhaps. Or the typical protofascist creation and demonization of the “other” as a divider and tool for fear and oppression.

If that's what the citizens of Israel want then let them have it.
Israel is a socialistic state, much like Europe. They are accustomed to top down authority and seem to do well with it.
It's those pesky Americans always whining about their freedom...
