A Taliban Sharia court sentenced two kidnappers to public execution by hanging.
According to the Sharia court, stealing children from Muslims is punishable by death. Earlier, the Taliban leadership has already stated that it intends to establish a "strong Islamic system" in Afghanistan.
The execution took place in the presence of the local population.
A month ago, there were soldiers at an abandoned Afghan army stronghold. Before that, Italian paratroopers had been there from time to time.

Pakistani Lieutenant Colonel Jawad was eliminated by Afghan army special forces.
A Pakistani lieutenant colonel? How very interesting. The Afghan special forces are to be congratulated.
PS. After yesterday's air strikes by the US Air Force, the Taliban said that if this is so, then they are starting to occupy the major cities of Afghanistan, although the de facto assault on Herat and Lashkar Gah was going on even before the intensive strikes of the US Air Force on July 30.
Street fighting continues in Lashkar Gah. In Herat, so far, battles are taking place on the outskirts of the city.
During yesterday's battles, the commander of the 1st Army Brigade was killed and the troops in the city, according to local reports, are not in the best condition.

Clashes continued for two days in Malan Bridge in south of Herat city, but Taliban took over the area on Saturday, sources said.
The operation was supported by the Air Force.
"Pak fighters are supporting the Taliban in Herat, Farah and Badghis," Herat governor Abdul Saboor Qane said. "Taliban has planned to attack Herat but they have faced resistance on the outskirts of the city and were defeated."

[AlAhram] Rwandan troops have joined Mozambican forces to launch a major offensive against Islamic rebels in northern Mozambique as more troops arrive from South Africa and other neighboring countries to battle the insurgency.
Less than two weeks after landing in Mozambique, the 1,000 soldiers from Rwanda fought alongside Mozambican troops to regain control of Awasse, a strategic town in northern Cabo Delgado province, according to the Mozambican government.
"We have attacked and re-occupied the enemy position at Awasse," President Filipe Nyusi said in a broadcast to the nation earlier this week. He said three other towns also were retaken from the rebels.
The new offensive is seen as a drive to regain control of Mocimboa da Praia, the Indian Ocean port that the rebels have held for nearly a year.
The joint forces have also been fighting the rebels in Palma and appear to be trying to secure the nearby Afungi peninsula where the French firm Total was forced to stop operations in its $20 billion liquified natural gas project, according to Cabo Ligado, a newsletter about the Death Eater violence.
Rwanda’s forces killed 14 Death Eaters, that country’s army front man announced Thursday. Mozambican media report that both sides have suffered casualties.
The campaign against the rebels will be further supported by troops arriving from South Africa, leading the contingent being sent by the 16-nation Southern African Development Community to assist Mozambique.
South Africa, the regional powerhouse, will send about 1,500 troops at a cost of nearly 1 billion rand ($68 million), President Cyril Ramaphosa informed parliament this week. A South African general is to lead the regional force.
Zim-bob-we announced Thursday that it will deploy 300 soldiers as trainers and advisers, and Botswana sent 300 troops to Mozambique earlier this week. Angola and Botswana have also announced they are sending forces.
The countries of southern Africa are giving military support to Mozambique to try to prevent the Death Eater rebels from expanding their foothold in the region.

In a statement on Saturday, the front man for Yemen's Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, elaborated on the second phase of Operation al-Nasr al-Mubin (Clear Victory), which commenced on July 20 and lasted for several days, Yemen's al-Masirah television network reported.
The operation led to the total liberation of the districts of Nu'man and Nata'e.
The front man said an estimated area of %u200B%u200B380 square kilometers was liberated.
Saree also said 160 bad boyz were potted. Dozens surrendered to the advancing Yemeni forces.
Saree noted that the total liberated area amounted to 500 square kilometers, and that the losses of the Takfiri groups during the two phases amounted to 510 dead and 760 maimed.
The front man also stressed that Takfiri murderous Moslems received support and backing from the Saudi-led military coalition before, during and after the operation.
He added that the invading coalition provides al-Qaeda and ISISmurderous Moslems in Yemen with medium and heavy weapons and ammunition, giving them full facilities to reach and station in areas in the said province.
During the second phase of the operation, he said, the Saudi-led coalition conducted at least 67 raids against Yemeni forces.
On July 13, the Yemeni army, allied with fighters of the Popular Committees, announced that it had launched the first phase of Operation al-Nasr al-Mubin.
[ColonelCassad] A fresh video from the Houthis drove up with a bend of Saudi mercenaries and Hadists in the Al-Bayda province (not so long ago, ISIS was piling up there).
The videos presented clearly demonstrate what it means to run away in an open area under heavy fire from machine guns from machine guns.
At the end, it is shown how some of them surrender to the Houthis and receive medical assistance. As a result of the fighting, the interventionists lost several dozen people in killed, wounded and prisoners, plus about 10-12 carts and armored combat vehicles.
Adds Rozhin:
It is worth noting that today the Saudi coalition condemned the Houthi UAV attack on a Saudi commercial vessel. The attack, according to the Saudis, was unsuccessful and deserves all condemnation.
Also, several pro-Saudi sources hint that an Israeli ship attacked by a UAV (1 crew member from Romania and a British PMC was killed) could also have been attacked by a Houthi UAV.
An anonymous American official also said that the United States is inclined to believe that the Houthis could be behind the attack on the Israeli ship. The Saudis also said that their fighters were able to shoot down a UAV that flew into Saudi Arabia from Yemen.

[Rudaw] A total of 18 missiles have been seized by Baghdad Operations Command as part of measures taken to prevent attacks on the Green Zone, diplomatic missions, and the capital city’s airport, its head told state media.
"These measures resulted in foiling three attempts to target Baghdad Airport from nearby areas," Baghdad Operations Commander Ahmed Salim said on Saturday.
"The security forces in the Second Division of the Federal Police associated with the Baghdad Operations Command managed to seize 10 Grand missiles more than two weeks ago. Before that, it seized eight Katyusha-type missiles that were intended to target the international airport," he added.
Attacks on US forces have increased following the US liquidation of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani in Baghdad in January 2020, leading to a non-binding parliamentary resolution to expel all foreign troops from the country.
There have been at least 25 reported rocket and drone attacks on bases and facilities housing American forces and personnel in Iraq this year, according to data compiled by Rudaw English. Two rockets were fired at the Green Zone on Thursday.
These attacks are blamed on Iranian-backed Iraqi militias that want to force American troops to withdraw from the country.
[Western Journal] After a deadly attack on an oil tanker off the coast of Oman, the USS Ronald Reagan is now involved.
In the wee hours of Friday morning, the tanker, MT Mercer Street, was hit by what officials believe was a drone, according to The Times of Israel.
The attack killed two crew members — one British and one Romanian.
Israeli officials blamed Iran for the attack. In recent months, Iran and Israel have each had their ships fired upon and blamed the other for the attacks.
Although past assaults have damaged shipping, this is the first attack in which crewmen aboard the vessels have been reported killed.
