To me, it looks like an emulation of an Antifa poster. Mister Matta obviously ain't too clear on that free speech thingy.
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Mayor Jimmy Matta of Burien, Wash. falsely claimed on Friday that he and other city council candidates were targets of a hate crime after yard signs appeared in public areas advocating against progressive candidates, of which he is one.
The signs read, "SEATTLE POLITICS ARE BAD FOR BURIEN," and had the BLM fist logo on them. The signs also said, "VOTE AGAINST," then listed the names of local progressive candidates Jimmy Matta, Hugo Garcia, Sarah Moore and Marxist candidate Krystal Marx.

If it were not Race what would Black Mayors run on...
Surely not how much improvement the Inner-city areas has seen under their administration.
Overall.
Kinda reminds me of the WaterWorld Smoker Captain speaking how to get the pee-ons to row more.

appears to be of an unsubmitted request form on her website, making it unlikely that the message was sent to Bush by a "white supremacist."
Users also picked up on similarities between other message screenshots posted by Bush, arguing that the "white supremacist violence" was structured as if written by the same person.

I just love how she calls herself a 'worthless piece of shit'.
Wakandan therapy maybe? Spend a day assaulting and insulting yourself, treat yourself the way you really believe you ought to be treated. Then shout out it was done to you by some white people and feel better.

big business opportunity for a lefty willing to take a risk for the team. Contact this person, send them cash in unsequential bills, and tell them the nature of the hate crime you'd like them to commit against you. If done correctly you could at least ensure the 'victim' is not easily seen as the perp. Liberal politicians can then ensure a lax investigation to ensure the one person (or a small group to make it look like a nation-wide hate fest) does not get caught.

Having said that, I expect in the next few years to see some go getter lefties start to send out hate messages or something to ensure the image of a hate filled nation.

I've got a neighbor who literally beats her breast about how anti-racist she is. Her husband could make a Klansman blush. In the end white indifference will make blacks wish we cared.

[Washington Examiner] Dr. Anthony Fauci suggested that it would’ve been "negligent" for the National Institutes of Health not to fund bat coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and declined to commit not to collaborate with Chinese government scientists in the future, insisting that "we have always been careful."
Last week, Sen. Rand Paul requested Attorney General Merrick Garland criminally investigate Fauci over his Senate testimony, during which he said the NIH never funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, which the Kentucky Republican says is a lie. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, insists the NIH grants did not fund gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab.
On Sunday, CNN’s Jake Tapper referenced last week’s back-and-forth between Paul and Fauci, noting the NIH has insisted the U.S. government-funded experiments proposed by the EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan lab did not meet the NIH’s definition of gain-of-function research and asked if the United States should "collaborate" with such labs whose research critics consider risky.

Isn't it funny that we are supposed to trust computer modeling of climate as if it's gospel, but this virology stuff needs to be done in a manner that leads to a lab accident.

/\ Given the number of suitable LAB's here in the USA. Why use US Taxpayer $$$$$ to fund any LAB controlled by Communist China?
1. It's very dangerous work. There have been "breaches of containment" close calls, Fort Dietrich for one. There is likely a good reason we're not hearing anything from USAMRIID or other facets of the intelligence community.
2. Why fund expensive domestic research primarily done by contractors and non-for-profits (who cannot be trusted to keep their mouths shut), when you can remote the effort at a fraction of the cost.
3. Gov't money may not be the only benefit the Chinese have derived from such a collaboration.
4. What better way to monitor what is going on in Wuhan than to have on-site sources who are free to travel to attend conferences, share data electronically, invite partnering researchers to periodically visit, etc.

If I understand correctly, after one/several lab accidents in domestic labs, they were forbidden — by Congress? — to do gain of function research anymore. Since Dr. Fauci and some others still wanted it done, they had to get someone else to do the work Americans can’t.

Let's call St. Fauxi the "common thread." HIV+ people are "not to be stigmatized." People who won't get a COVID vax are "murderers" and should be treated like second class citizens. Bit of a paradox, no?

I can't believe ho many people are saying this research would be fine if we were doing it. We were smart enough to stop making nerve gas. But apparently not smart enough to destroy the last stocks of smallpox (here and in Russia) This is not in any way the same as developing thermonuclear bombs which was going to happen in any event. This sort of research is something that should be banned on pain of immediate nuclear cauterization if it is discovered.

We should have nuked Wuhan. The Chinese would not have been able to do anything meaningful in retaliation.

A slight adjustment to the argument becomes 'Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer' ...
More on this story from yesterday, including the names of the miscreants involved.
[Breitbart] The Department of Justice (DOJ) has dropped charges against five members of the Chinese military whom federal prosecutors previously accused of lying to obtain visas to get jobs and a doctoral spot at United States universities.
Late last week, prosecutors wrote in a court brief that they would be dropping their criminal cases against China military members Juan Tang, Chen Song, Kaikai Zhao, and Guan Lei — all of whom had been accused of fraudulently obtaining visas to secure roles at U.S. universities in California and Indiana.
DOJ officials told the Wall Street Journal that the department dropped the visa fraud charges after a re-review of the cases and justified the move, saying the Chinese nationals had already served months in federal prison while awaiting trial:
A senior Justice Department official said the punishment for the crimes the researchers were charged with usually amounted to around a few months in prison, and the defendants had all been detained or under other restrictions in the U.S. since their arrest a year ago. That led the agency to determine that further litigation in the group of cases would unnecessarily prolong their departure from the U.S. and that their situations since their arrests amounted to sufficient punishment and deterrence. [Emphasis added]
A Justice Department spokesman said "recent developments" in the cases had prompted the department to re-evaluate the prosecutions. "We have determined that it is now in the interest of justice to dismiss them," the spokesman, Wyn Hornbuckle, said, adding that the agency "continues to place a very high priority on countering the threat posed to American research security and academic integrity by the PRC government’s agenda and policies." PRC is an abbreviation for People’s Republic of China. [Emphasis added]
The five Chinese nationals were arrested in July and August of last year as part of a federal crackdown on China military members fraudulently obtaining visas to the U.S. by hiding their ties to the Chinese military, known formally as the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

[TRENDINGPOLITICS] A fully packed house for the "Rally to Protect Our Elections" in Phoenix, Arizona went kaboom! when Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... arrived to make his case the 2020 election was ’rigged.’
The 45th president made some of his most pointed remarks yet about the previous election to the Trump faithful.
"The 2020 election was a total disgrace," Trump said. "It was the most corrupt..." he began to say before being interrupted by cheers. The crowd then began chanting, "Trump! Trump! Trump!"
"And I tell this to people, I tell it to Republicans, and a lot of them are very good people," he continued. "And they say, ’well, sir, we have to get on to the future’."
"Let me tell you, you’re not going to have a future," Trump added. "First of all, our nation is being destroyed. But you’re not going to have a future in ’22 or ’24 if you don’t find out how they cheated with hundreds of thousands and even millions of votes, because you won’t win anything. You won’t win anything."
"But I tell people, this is the biggest issue there is," he went on. "This is bigger than the border. This is bigger than anything. This is the biggest issue."
"It was the most corrupt, dishonest and unfair election in the history of our country," Trump added.

Biden has never had any support or turnouts to speak of, even in his own party and we are supposed to believe he won the election. Rigged is what the election was.
[NYPOST] House Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments... on Sunday named Republican Rep. Adam Kinzginer to the committee that will examine the Jan. 6 Capitol riot — after refusing to appoint GOP Reps. Jim Jordan and Jim Banks.Kinzinger, an outspoken critic of former President Donald Trump ...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election... ’s role in the melee, said he "humbly" accepted Pelosi’s appointment.
"I swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution — and while this is not the position I expected to be in or sought out, when duty calls, I will always answer," the Iraq War vet wrote Sunday on Twitter.
The Illinois pol joins Rep. Liz Cheney ...Faux Republican hereditary congresswoman-for-life from Wyoming. She has been described as Republican royalty. A staunch Never Trumper, Liz supported the second impeachment of Donald Trump for his role in the 2021 storming of the U.S. Capitol. Publicans dumped her from her leadership position in May 2021. Refusing to admit that she had trashed her own career, Cheney has said that she intends to be the leader... in a fight to help to restore our party and that she may be interested in a future presidential run.... of Wyoming as the only Republicans currently on the select committee.
Both congressional members were the only GOP politicians to vote last month in favor of establishing a select committee in the House to probe the debacle.
Kinzinger will bring "great patriotism to the committee’s mission: to find the facts and protect our Democracy," Pelosi said in a statement.

“On January 6th, insurrectionists attempted to overthrow the government during the worst assault on the Capitol since the War of 1812,” said Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “It is imperative that we get to the truth of that day and ensure that such an attack can never again happen." From Speaker-for-Life-and-Beyond website.
She wants to insure that we don't get to the truth of the day as she probably had a lot to do with fomenting and covering up the insurrection. BTW, I can believe she was in the position during the War of 1812.
