If it were the 1960-2000, I'd would say have the State of MO. AG, or the US DOJ AG investigate the claims. But both are likely doing the same based on Political agendas.
Which is likely another reason the DC Swamp is pushing LEFT vs. USA.

I notice in the 2020 Census results that the city of St. Louis has dipped below 300,000 population. Down from a high of 850,000 in 1950. Look for even further and steeper declines by 2030.

All politics aside, I can't overstate the degree of professional incompetence shown here. A big part of litigation practice is managing dates and deadlines, and the responsibility for that falls not only on the individual lawyer but also on the law firm. Not showing up for a hearing in a small civil dispute might well be a firing offense in the absence of a really good excuse, such as getting hit by a truck on your way to the courthouse. Not showing up for multiple hearings on a murder case boggles the mind. It would be even better to show up well prepared to argue the motion, but let's stick to basics: Get your butt to the courthouse on time.

[1945] A few years ago, the U.S. Air Force awarded a $6.4 to $7.5 billion dollar contract to seven private companies to provide aggressor air combat training services to the Air Force through 2024. That huge sum is all dedicated to one goal: sharpening the skills of Air Force fighter pilots by putting them in realistic air battles against foreign jet fighters.
The U.S. military introduced aggressor squadrons back in the 1960s after learning in air combat over Vietnam that fighter jocks needed to practice fighting dissimilar aircraft using dissimilar tactics. Just because those aircraft might be deemed technologically inferior didn't mean their pilots couldn't cleverly employ them in ways that exploited weaknesses in American fighters and pilot training.
For example, the supersonic American F-4 Phantom had sophisticated radar and Sparrow missiles that allowed them to engage subsonic, cannon-armed MiG-17 fighters from miles away. But the North Vietnamese naturally didn't go along with the American playbook.

Several companies have managed to make a working business model out of exploiting USAF training and tactics gaps.
(1) What does that say about current USAF training?
(2) What are the potential opponents seeing? (Seems that they could tap the contractors for knowledge.)

Skid, when they drive past Earth, they roll up their windows and lock their doors.
We can't keep the best pilots. They want to fly and not put up with micro management, flying desks so others have 'equity' to use the same aircraft, and no political indoctrination. So, we're going to pay 3 or more times the cost of such pilots who will be civilians contractors instead.
[KhaamaPress] Afghanistan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said that the ongoing conflict between the Afghan government and the Taliban ...Arabic for students... has made over fifty thousand families leave their homes this year and 14 thousand of these families have been displaced in the past 15 days across the country.
Ever since the United States began their remaining 2500 soldiers’ evacuation over two months ago, the Taliban increased their offensive and toppled the territories which were not under their control in past. The situation behooved the Afghan government for counterattacks which caused heavy conflict and finally led to thousands of families leave their homes behind and seek refuge in secure places.
The families have not only been relocated to the capital cities of their respective provinces but also to Kabul.
The Ministry of Refugee and Repatriation says that they are capable to provide the homeless people with shelter and food but warns on the other hand not to be able once the number of displaced families surge.
The Ministry estimates the number of displaced families to rise in the future.
Southern Kandahar is a province with the highest number of internal refugees who are suffering from different problems including heat, lack of shelter and food and their homes being looted back in their residences.
[Garowe] U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said Saturday that U.S. Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s targeting al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... in Somalia over the past few days were undertaken because Somali forces are intensifying their offensive against the al-Qaeda-affiliated terror group.
"Most recently what’s happened is our partner forces have increased their op[erational] tempo, and they have been pushing back on al-Shabaab in a more significant way," Austin told news hounds traveling with him to Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska.
"The result of that is some engagements that were fairly intense, and we conducted those strikes to support our partner forces," he added.
U.S. Africa Command targeted al-Shabaab with two airstrikes on July 20 and July 23, following a nearly six-month hiatus that began when President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier... took office.
The Somali military has been embroiled in a fierce struggle on the ground with al-Shabaab in Galmudug ...a semiautonomous region in central Somalia, bordering Puntland on the north. Galmudug is not trying to obtain international recognition as a separate nation, but rather considers itself autonomous within the larger Somali federalism, for what that's worth... state, the region targeted in both U.S. strikes.
Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told VOA and other news hounds traveling aboard a U.S. military aircraft Friday that U.S. troops were not on the ground with Somali forces during the strikes but were conducting a remote advise-and-assist mission.
Further information was not provided because of "operational security."
The U.S. military carried out 63 airstrikes against al-Shabaab in 2019 and 53 airstrikes last year.
Another seven airstrikes were launched in the first 2½ weeks of 2021 before former U.S. President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... left office.
U.S. officials explained the slowdown by citing a Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft ...knaves, footpads, and adjusters employed by the Biden Crime Family. They leave a trail of havoc everywhere they turn their attention, be it the nation's borders, the Keystone XL Pipeline, or epidemics, sometimes on purpose, most times through sheer arrogant ineptitude. They learnt this stuff in college, you know... review of the military’s airstrike policy. Senior Somali officials concerned with the lack of strikes had warned it would allow al-Shabaab "to come out of hiding."
A puzzling tale with a deliberately anonymous subject, so we can’t check the Rantburg archive for the gentleman.
[Garowe] A British citizen has claimed he was tortured in Somalia and questioned by US intelligence officers, raising concern that controversial practices of the post-9/11 "war on terror" is still being used.
The 45-year-old from London alleges he has endured hooding, sensory deprivation, and waterboarding at the hands of the Somali authorities to persuade him, he believes, to cooperate with the CIA. Foreign Office officials are aware of the allegations of torture and US involvement, but their failure to act has raised questions over UK complicity.
David Taylor, whose name has been changed at his family’s request, has been detained without charge in Somalia for two years and fears that unless the UK government intervenes he will face execution in a military court or be rendered to the US. His family, based in London, says they are "heartbroken" over the situation and has accused the Foreign Office of "completely abandoning" him.

According to official sources, Rafah, the only crossing point between Egypt and Paleostine's Gaza Strip, has been open on both sides to allow entry of relief materials into the Gaza Strip for the reconstruction of the impoverished Paleostinian enclave after the widespread destruction it witnessed due to an Israeli onslaught in May.

"There is no need for any foreign combat forces on Iraqi soil," said Mustafa al-Kadhimi told the News Agency that Dare Not be Named, adding that Iraq’s security forces and army are up to the task of defending the country.
He said any withdrawal of US forces would be based on the needs of Iraqi troops, which in the past year have carried out independent missions against the terror group.
"The war against IS and the readiness of our forces requires a special timetable, and this depends on the negotiations that we will conduct in Washington," al-Kadhimi said in the interview published Sunday.
The Iraqi leader, who is scheduled to meet with President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter...... on Monday, said he will ask the US for help in training and intelligence gathering.
The timeline could have most US troops out of Iraq by the end of the year.
[IsraelTimes] 25 trucks intended for power plant in Strip are stuck at Kerem Shalom crossing; Israeli official says it’s Paleostinians’ fault, PA denies it.
Israeli authorities prevented 25 truckloads of Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... i-funded fuel intended for Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... ’s only power plant from entering the Strip, Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, officials told the terror group’s Voice of al-Aqsa radio station on Sunday morning.
The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, the Israeli military body responsible for coordinating the entry of goods into Gaza, declined to comment.
A Defense Ministry official, speaking on condition of anonymity ... for fear of being murdered... , blamed the Paleostinians for the delay, saying the Paleostinian Authority body responsible for coordinating with Israel had failed to inform Israeli authorities that the fuel was scheduled to enter the enclave.
"As soon as the Paleostinians properly coordinate with us, the fuel will enter," the official said.
Two Paleostinian officials in Gaza dismissed that explanation, telling The Times of Israel they had not been informed of any coordination issues.
The officials further maintained they were not responsible at all for coordinating the entry of Qatari fuel, which falls under a separate mechanism. Qatar, through its Gaza envoy Mohammad al-Emadi, and the United Nations ...the Oyster Bay money pit... coordinate directly with Israel to allow fuel to enter Gaza, the Paleostinian officials contended.
United Nations and Qatari officials declined to comment.
Qatar has provided subsidized fuel for Gaza’s only power plant since 2018 as part of an aid package it provides to the Hamas-run coastal enclave.
Until the May fighting between Israel and Hamas, Jerusalem permitted the subsidies to enter, in a bid to soothe tensions on its southern border. But since the May conflict, Jerusalem has sought to impose heightened restrictions on Gaza, significantly limiting imports and exports.
Israel has also largely halted the entrance of Qatari subsidies — which in the past included millions in cash — although it recently permitted Qatari-funded fuel to begin re-entering Gaza. Israeli officials have vowed that they will not allow a return to the status quo, which they view as too favorable to the Hamas terror group.
During the war, Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s and Paleostinian rockets caused at least $290 million worth of damage to the Gaza Strip, international assessors reported in early July.
Israel and Hamas have been conducting indirect negotiations in Cairo in an attempt to strengthen the fragile ceasefire between the two sides. Israeli officials have said they will condition allowing the reconstruction of Gaza and easing the heightened restrictions on reaching a prisoner exchange with Hamas that secures the return of Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed and the bodies of IDF soldiers Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul, who died in 2014 fighting.
[JPost] The Jerusalem District Court on Sunday ruled that the Palestine Liberation Organization must pay nearly NIS one million to the estates of two Israeli victims of a 1985 ship hijacking.
The Jerusalem District Court on Sunday ruled that the Palestine Liberation Organization must pay nearly NIS 1 million to the estates of two Israeli victims of a 1985 ship hijacking.
The breakdown of the damages is NIS 400,000 to each victim’s estate as well as attorneys fees for a decades long legal fight.
Channel 12 first reported the decision, but the Jerusalem Post independently obtained a copy of the ruling.
It was October 1985, when on its way to Alexandria, four Palestinian terrorists hijacked the Achille Lauro at sea and demanded the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons.
During the hijacking of the ship, the terrorists shot a disabled Jew named Leon Klinghoffer while still strapped to his wheelchair and threw him into the water.
They also harmed various other passengers, including Sofi Chiser and Anna Shneider, whose families, represented by Shurat Hadin,
...which lives for this stuff, and seems to be very, very good at it...
initiated proceedings against the PLO around 21 years ago, to obtain damages for those harms.
Say WHAT? I hurt my neck on this one. News from 2000?
They’re as bad as Hezbollah in terms of hiding weapons and tunnels under civilians.. Hamas responds to the report of secondaries after Israel bombed the weapons depot Thursday.
[JPost] Palestinians in the Gaza Strip said that the explosion that killed 1 and injured 14 on Thursday took place in a warehouse used by Hamas for storing weapons.
Palestinian factions and human rights organizations have called on Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups to stop storing weapons in residential areas following another explosion, which killed one person and injured 14 others on Thursday. They also demanded a thorough investigation into the explosion in order to hold those responsible accountable.
Palestinians in the Gaza Strip said that the explosion took place in a warehouse used by Hamas for storing weapons.
Hamas said it has launched an investigation, but has not provided any details.
Thursday’s explosion occurred shortly after 8 a.m. in a house located in the Al-Zawiya market area in the center of Gaza City. Palestinian sources said that 69-year-old Atta Ahmed Saqallah died and 14 civilians were injured, including six children.
Medical sources at Shifa Hospital described the wounds of one of them as critical, according to the Palestinian Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights. The three-story house was partially destroyed, while neighboring houses and shops were partially damaged, the center said in a statement. According to eyewitnesses, a fire had broken out in the house before the explosion.
"Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights in Gaza views the explosion incident with grave seriousness, as there have been repeated incidents of internal explosions in houses in overcrowded residential neighborhoods for various reasons in the past, which resulted in the killing of a number of civilians and the destruction of homes and public and private properties," the statement read.
"Accordingly, Al-Mezan reiterates its call for a comprehensive and serious investigation into this incident and other similar events, to publish the results of the investigation publicly, and to take the necessary measures to ensure that it does not recur in order to preserve the lives and property of citizens."
The Palestinian NGO Network, an umbrella organization comprising 133 member organizations, also called for a "serious and transparent" investigation into the explosion. "The Network stresses the need to expedite the provision of all forms of assistance and support to those affected," the group said. "It also stresses the need to announce the results of the investigation and to take serious measures to prevent such explosions from happening again."
Palestinian writer Fadel Al-Manasfeh said it was clear that Hamas chooses popular markets as a safe place for its ammunition warehouses because it knows that Israel does not target such places. He said that Hamas was "confused" by the explosion because one of its weapons warehouses had been discovered. He also pointed out that a similar explosion took place in an open market in the Nuseirat refugee camp last year, killing more than 10 Palestinians and injuring dozens others.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Iran’s judiciary wants to re-examine the cases of protesters that were imprisoned for taking part in widespread demonstrations against a fuel-price hike in November 2019, the semi-official Iranian Students’ News Agency reported.
Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei, the head of Iran’s judiciary, said he’d ordered Tehran’s prosecutor to release or acquit anyone who’d shown good behavior in jail or met certain "qualifications, without giving details, ISNA quoted him as saying in a meeting with the families of prisoners.
The move comes after protests in Iran’s southwest, oil-rich Khuzestan province killed three people and attracted widespread support from Iranians and prompted demonstrations of support in the city of Tabriz in the country’s northwest.
In November 2019, Khuzestan was gripped by some of the deadliest protests in Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence.
