[ToloNews] Four security force members were killed in a car kaboom by the Taliban ...Arabic for students... on the police headquarters in Baghlan-e-Markazi district in the northern province of Baghlan on Monday evening, officials said Tuesday.
The attack took place at around 6:30 pm local time when a Humvee loaded with explosives exploded near the police headquarters in the district, Baghlan police said in a statement.
The district police chief and some coppers were maimed in the attack, a security official, who wished not to be named, said.
According to the official, the attack was followed by a shootout by some attackers who entered the police headquarters. But special forces shortly after the attack said the situation "was under their control."
Some civilian homes in the area were damaged in the attack, an army commander Farid Sayed Khili said.
"The explosion was huge and damaged civilian homes even 500 meters away. It caused financial damages to the people," Sayed Khili said.
He said that security forces pushed back the Taliban attack following the earth-shattering kaboom.
The Army commander said that Taliban conducted at least three simultaneous attacks in different parts of the district in which "15 of them were killed and maimed."
Taliban claimed responsibly for the attack.
Baghlan has been faced with heavy festivities between government forces and the Taliban over the last four weeks. Baghlan-e-Markazi has witnessed most of the festivities during this time.
[ToloNews] An explosion targeted a bus on Tuesday evening near the Ahlolbait Mosque in the Sar-e-Karez area of PD3 in Kabul city, and was followed by another later in the evening.
A security source told TOLOnews that at least 8 people were killed and 14 were maimed in the two blasts.
Eyewitnesses said there were about 30 casualties.
The two buses held dozens of passengers and were headed toward Dashte-e-Barchi in western Kabul.
Three bombs rattled the Afghan capital Kabul late Tuesday killing at least 10 people and plunging the city into darkness, an Afghan government front man said.
Two bombs went kaboom! in quick succession in separate locations of a west Kabul neighborhood, killing at least 10 people and wounding a dozen others, said deputy Interior Ministry front man Said Hamid Rushan.
A third bomb heavily damaged an electrical grid station in north Kabul, said Sangar Niazai, a front man for the government power supply department.
The initial two bombings, both targeting minivans, happened in a mostly ethnic Hazara ...a grouping of Dari-speaking people of Sino-Tibetan descent inhabiting Afghanistan and Pakistain. They are predominantly Shia Moslems and not particularly warlike, which makes them favored targets... area of the capital, said Rushan.
The first went kaboom! near the home of a prominent Hazara leader, Mohammad Mohaqiq, and in front of a Shiite mosque. Most Hazaras are Shiites. The second bomb also targeted a minivan but Rushan said details were still being collected.
Police cordoned off the two areas and Sherlocks were sifting through the rubble.
No one grabbed credit for the bombings but the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. The IS affiliate previously took responsibility for several attacks in May on Afghanistan's power supply stations in Kabul and in several other provinces. On May 8, a boom-mobile and two roadside kabooms went kaboom! outside the Syed-al-Shahada girls school, also in a predominantly Hazara neighborhood, killing nearly 90 people, many of them students. No one has yet claimed that attack but the U.S. blamed IS.
[ToloNews] Information gathered by TOLOnews indicates that at least 624 people--302 civilians and 322 security force members--in various regions of the country were killed in blasts, fighting and assassination in the month of May, and 710 others were maimed during this period.

#Nigerian authorities said on Tuesday that about 200 children had been seized in the latest #school kidnapping in its violent north but they ruled out securing their freedom by paying a ransom.https://t.co/1lyUJMEbCp

Police were trying to track the route the kidnappers had taken with the children, who were seized in a raid on an Islamic school in north-central Niger state on Sunday, a local government official told Rooters.
A warplane was also flying over the area to try to spot them, the official said.
Gunmen on cycle of violences attacked the town of Tegina on Sunday afternoon. One person was rubbed out during the attack and a second person was maimed. Local authorities put the number of kidnapped students at about 200.
Deputy governor Ahmed Mohammed Ketso told news hounds the state government was pursuing the kidnappers and efforts were being made to identify them.
"We don’t pay ransom to abductors. We are trying to negotiate to see how we can bring them back safely," he said.
More than 700 students have been kidnapped for ransom since December by gangs after raids on schools and universities in northern Nigeria. The government denies paying ransoms but is widely believed to have done so.
Police officers have been posted at schools in the region as a stepped-up security measure, Ketso said.
[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] One of Colombia’s top five criminal groups, Los Caparros, has been dismantled with the death of its leader, Defense Minister Diego Molano said on Tuesday.
Robinson Gil Tapias, known as "Flechas," was killed in an operation by Colombia’s military and police last Thursday in the northern rural municipality of Caceres, Antioquia province. Los Caparros was responsible for killings and forced displacements, child recruitment, and kidnappings in northeastern Colombia, according to security sources.
With the death of Gil Tapias and the seizing of the group’s arsenal, other members of Los Caparros fled, while others are expected to surrender, according to authorities.
"Today we can tell Colombia that Los Caparros have met their end," Molano said.
Before his death, Gil Tapias was included on the government’s most-wanted list, with a reward of $145,000 offered for information to his whereabouts.
Los Caparros featured alongside Clan del Golfo and Los Pelusos, as well as guerrilla group the National Liberation Army (ELN) and former FARC combatants who reject a 2016 peace deal, as one of the five largest criminal groups designated military targets by the government of President Ivan Duque.
Los Caparros’ eight most important leaders have all been killed or captured in recent months, according to high-ranking officials.
The group, which emerged in 2017 following a split with Clan del Golfo, had around 100 combatants and was present in Colombia’s provinces of Antioquia and Cordoba.
Drug trafficking has long fueled Colombia’s internal armed conflict, which has left more than 260,000 dead and millions displaced.

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Video emerged online purportedly from an alleged black nationalist rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma as part of the National Black Power Convention this weekend. It shows activists wearing black listening to speeches about black nationalism and white supremacy ...the pernicious doctrine that laws were intended to be obeyed, that society works better when people don't pour shreiking from their places of worship every Friday for a weekend of rioting over insults real or imagined; and that cannibalism, beastiality, incest, murder, theft, rape, and similar activities are bad. A Dead White European (which invalidates his opinion) philosopher once opined that societies thrive when a person's word can be relied upon, and that a society which puts individual happiness first will invariably fail. Strangely enough, other successful societies, such as China, Japan, Korea, and those kinds of places could also be lumped with white supremacist societies, since they push the same values... Because maff be hard. Most of the 77 percent majority in this country weren't rayciss until this horse manure started to drop.
Hundreds of black men and women from across the country gathered in Tulsa and staged an armed march through the city on the centenary anniversary of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The New Black Panther Party was the largest group at the march.
"We're pushing death to white supremacy, death to capitalism, death to imperialism, and death to fascism ...a political system developed in Italy, symbolized by the Roman fasces -- thin reeds, each flimsy in itself but unbreakable when bound into a bundle. Its distinguishing philosophical feature is the Corporate State. The word is nowadays thrown around by all sorts of people who have no idea what they're talking about... . We're pushing an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a head for a head, and a life for a life," a man shouts through a megaphone to the gathered crowd.
"White supremacists bust us upside the head and drug us over here to pick cotton, so they can get rich, so they can get wealthy," he says.
"That's what they did!" A man shouts from the crowd.
"But I would like to tell you," the speaker continues, "even though you are not in Africa, Africa was born in you. Africa was born in you!"
"Black power!" People cheer from the crowd.
The speaker continues, saying "This is a powerful historical event, we must not let it stop right there. We must push deeply into the so-called black-on-black violence, the community violence, the fear, the self-hatred, which pits us against each other, which pits us to gang violence. We must go into our hood," he said. He called for people to deal with the gang violence in their neighborhoods. Good points, but you know it won't get followed up
"They put us through vicious suffering, vicious oppression," he said. "Once they are buried, we must bury them, dig them up, and kill them again." This became an audience chant.
Another speaker took the megaphone and said "Black people will kill everything white in sight," because of "all what you've done to us, all of what you're done in the 6,000 year span and killing 600 million of us and 408 years in particular," he said.
"They are a race that's trying to hold on to power, and a race has beginning and an ending and your ending time has been made up since 1914, no-good peckerwood," he said.
"This is the time when Malcolm talked about," he said. He spoke about a "united front," and that it was time to "give these crackers hell."
In 1969 SCOTUS used Brandenburg v. Ohio to water down Schenck v. United States of 1919. The ruling while limiting the scope of banned speech, made it clear; speech used to incite imminent lawless action (riot, physical harm/assaults, arson, murder, etc.) IS NOT FREE PROTECTED SPEECH.
QUESTION: So where is the Oklahoma AG, or any US DOJ District DA?
BTW: Since they justify their purposed actions things that happened 55 to 400 years ago by persons who are long dead and buried?
What IF we used their own Stupid Logic.... (Sins of the Past don't die with the criminal they are inherited by the offspring )
Then every offspring of a Black Murderer, Cop Killer, rapist, arsonist, Drug Dealer and etc.. could be held as suspected criminals also, until they prove otherwise.

[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) launched security operations in the Naft Khana Mountains in Diyala Governorate.
Iraq’s Security Media Cell said in a statement the PMF’s 1st Brigade carried out, at dawn today, operations including searching and combing in the Naft Khana Mountains, Khanaqin District, northeast of Diyala. The engineering team in the Brigade dismantled an bomb.
In 2017, Iraq declared final victory over ISIS after Iraqi forces drove its last remnants from the country, three years after the terrorist group captured about a third of Iraq’s territory.
Yet, ISIS still has sleeper cells in several Iraqi Governorates.
Diyala is one of the terrorist Organization hotspots, it was under its control in 2014.
[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] The Security Media Cell reported that the most prominent terrorist supporting ISIS cells had been arrested on the left side of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... Chop her head off.
The cell said in a statement that accurate intelligence information confirmed the presence of a prominent female terrorist in al-Qadisiyah neighborhood on the left side of Mosul, who held an administrative position in the so-called Diwan al-Hisbah before the liberation of the ISIS-controlled cities and is currently one of the most prominent turbans supporting sleeper cells by providing them with money.
According to the source, the security forces raided the house the terrorist was staying at and arrested her.
[IsraelTimes] IDF says Syrians tried to establish an observation post on Israeli side of buffer zone on the strategic plateau
The Israeli army destroyed a Syrian regime observation post established on the Israeli side of the buffer zone in the Golan Heights on Tuesday, a spokesperson said.
The army "destroyed a forward observation post of the Syrian army that was set up in an Israeli area west of the Alfa line
...a UN-patrolled buffer zone between both countries...
in the Golan Heights," front man Avichay Adraee wrote on Twitter, referring to the Israeli side of a UN-patrolled buffer zone between both countries.
He said troops attacked and blew up the post, adding that Israel would not "tolerate any attempt to violate the illusory sovereignty" of the Jewish state.
The site is on the Syrian side of the border fence, but still technically in Israeli territory.
Channel 13 showed footage of the troops going in and planting the explosives. Officers told the channel the posts were also used by Hezbollah fighters and pro-Iranian militias.
"We vaporized it," one officer told the TV.
The report said the IDF had deliberately used ground forces instead of targeting the site from the air in order to send a message to Syria and Hezbollah that Israel would not tolerate any violations of its illusory sovereignty.
There was no immediate report of any casualties.
Israel has carried out hundreds of strikes in Syria in recent years, mostly targeting Iranian and Lebanese Hezbollah forces as well as Syrian government troops, though it rarely acknowledges them.
Its military has said it hit some 50 targets in 2020 alone.
Israel says it is trying to prevent Iran, which has been one of the Syrian government’s key allies in the decade-old civil war, from gaining a permanent military foothold on its doorstep.
The Golan Heights, a strategic plateau, was captured by Israel from Syria during the 1967 Six-Day War.

[WashingtonGreenBeacon] What a surprise Hamas: ’This war will last forever’
The Iranian regime is giving Hamas terrorists resources to produce "thousands of new rockets" in the Gaza Strip, according to a new report in Tehran’s state-controlled media.
Following a two-week-long war with Israel this month in which Hamas and other terror groups bombarded the Jewish state with missiles funded and provided by Iran, Hamas is moving to restock its weapons cache.
"With the end of the Israeli regime’s latest aggression, the Palestinian resistance has resumed the process of rocket production," Fathi Hamad, a member of Hamas’s politburo, was quoted as saying over the Memorial Day weekend by Iran’s state-run Fars News Agency. "Our factories and workshops have restarted producing thousands of rockets to stop [Israeli prime minister Benjamin] Netanyahu’s intransigence in Al-Quds [Jerusalem] and Tel Aviv."
Hamas leaders also said that despite the current calm between the sides, "This war will last forever."
The comments shows that the weapons pipeline between Iran and Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip remains intact following a series of Israeli defensive strikes meant to eradicate the terror group’s supply of rockets. Hamas fired thousands of missiles into Israeli territory during the war, many of them more sophisticated than the typical crude rockets normally fired by the group. Iran is largely responsible for providing Hamas with the funding and materials needed to produce these advanced missiles.
Iranian leaders have made clear in recent days that they will continue arming and funding Hamas, comments that have stoked outrage among Republicans in Congress. Many U.S. lawmakers are pressing the Biden administration to abandon its diplomacy with Iran aimed at inking a new Iran deal. They say that the billions of dollars in sanctions relief the United States will give Iran will go to funding terror proxy groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, which also fired rockets at Israel during the most recent conflict.
Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar also made clear during the weekend that the terror group plans to continue attacking Israel until the country gives up its land.
"The option of war against Israel and its discriminatory measures against the Palestinians is still there," he said. "Palestinians are not after war, because it carries heavy costs. However, this war will last forever because Israel has occupied our lands, displaced our people, and continues to engage in carnage," Sinwar said.
Iranian military leaders also praised Hamas’s strikes on Israel and pledged to support the group’s mission to destroy the Jewish state.
Iranian defense minister brigadier general Amir Hatami said on Sunday that with Iran’s help Hamas’s missile arsenal has turned into a "nightmare for the Zionists," according to a separate report in Fars News.
"The Zionist regime will not see the next 25 years, and from now on, missiles, drones and the defense capabilities of the (real) owners of Palestine will be the nightmare of the usurper settlers," Hatami was quoted as saying.
Major General Hossein Salami, commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, also said on Sunday that the most recent war with Israel showed that Hamas’s arsenal is more powerful than ever.
Iranian fire trifecta is now in play!
[Zero Hedge] - A major oil refinery in Tehran is now engulfed in a huge blaze just hours after on Wednesday morning the Islamic Republic's largest warship caught fire and sank in the Gulf of Oman under mysterious circumstances.
Iranian state Tasnim news in a breaking report has identified it as the Shahid Tondguyan oil refinery, considered among the country's largest.
Coincidence? Or are we now witnessing a return to the summer of 2020 which saw tit-for-tat sabotage attacks on oil tankers, military and nuclear sites involving Israel and Iran?
The timing is also interesting given Iran and the West appear on the verge of completing a restored nuclear deal in Vienna, which means the US would drop sanctions and allow Iran to pursue 'peaceful nuclear energy' development. Israel has vowed to do everything to prevent such a deal which Tel Aviv sees as providing a path to nuclear weapons.
Multiple videos show a massive blaze in progress, billowing thick black smoke high over the Iranian capital...

Weellllll ........... it must be bad "karma" to admit you (Iran) supplied Hamas with the 4,000 rockets they used to attack Israel with and then announce you plan to send them more....
[10News] The largest warship in the Iranian navy has caught fire and sank in the Gulf of Oman under unclear circumstances.
The Fars and Tasnim news agencies said efforts Wednesday failed to save the support ship Kharg, named after the island that serves as the main oil terminal for Iran.
The blaze began around 2:25 a.m. and firefighters tried to contain it.
The vessel sank near the Iranian port of Jask, some 1,270 kilometers (790 miles) southeast of Tehran on the Gulf of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz — the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf.

Re #10: If the article yesterday about a couple of Iranian pilots being smashed against the hanger roof by their F-4, then yes, it goes far beyond a nightmare. Just stay in the hanger, Reza, it's safer.

The F4 has been in service since 1961. Israel not only owned them at one time and modifced them somewhat. Sounds like they found a way to modify Iran's F4 Pilot Eject to be "all encompassing".

I believe the ejecty plane from yesterday was an F-5.
Is it possible that catching fire and sinking was all part of a training drill? I know nothing about Iranian naval tactics, but there is a saying about "train like you fight, fight like you train". The next time festivities jump off for the Persians, I would expect the navy to be doing a lot of catching fire and sinking, so this could be good practice.

Damage control, damage control, damage control. It has to be built into the design of the ship, and drilled into the crew. Yes, a fire, especially at sea, can get away from you, but crews need to practice, practice, practice for emergencies.

Al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room includes several gangs as they fight in the Idlib and Hama countryside.
Al-Fateh al-Mubin killed and maimed many government soldiers after targeting them with heavy and medium weapons, the sources added.
North Press Agency was unable to obtain independent sources to confirm or deny the information received.

[NPASYRIA] On Tuesday, a civilian lost his life and four others maimed when a cycle of violence, targeting a car in the village of al-Humur east of Hasakah, northeast Syria, went kaboom!.
"A motorbike parked on the edge of the road blew up from distance while a Toyota Hilux was passing," Muhammad Salim, an eyewitness from the area of the earth-shattering kaboom, said.
"A man called Hassan Ali Muhammad lost his life, and four others were maimed, in addition to material damage to nearby shops and houses," he added.
The driver, two others and a child called Muhammad Mahmoud Ibrahim, 11, were among the injured, according to the eyewitness.
Another source told North Press that the car belonged to two traders from the countryside of Hasakah, and the injured were three not four.
"Muhammad Hassan, the civilian, died of shrapnel while being in a nearby shop for repairing his car wheel," it added.
"A resident was killed and three others were maimed because their car was targeted while heading to Hasakah on Hawl town road," the Internal Security Forces, (Asayish), said in a statement.
"The targeting was done via a motorbike parked on the side of the road and prepared for blowing up from a distance," the statement added.
No party has claimed the incident so far, while Asayish confirmed that they will continue their security campaign for combing and storming the hideouts of holy warriors until all cells in the countryside of Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor are eliminated.

[NPASYRIA] On Monday,Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested a sleeper cell that carries out kidnappings and blackmailing under the name of paying zakat to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. Head of the sleeper cell Abdulsalam Hijab al-Ahmad and his friends were arrested in the town of Jadeed Akidat, east of Deir ez-Zor, while they were asking a trader to pay $1,000, a local military source told North Press.
The head of the sleeper cell confessed that they carried out kidnappings, asked ransoms and zakat from residents in favor of ISIS, the source added.
SDF confiscated broken wireless fists, AK-47s, and ISIS bad boys’ clothes used during their operations.
"Their cell phones contain dozens of messages, audios, and photos that approve that they contacted traders and demanded Zakat under the name of ISIS," the source noted.
In late 2020, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) arrested a gang which carried out theft and kidnappings in the town Abu Hamam, east of Deir ez-Zor countryside.
[NPASYRIA] On Tuesday, artillery shells and missile strikes by the Syrian government forces caused fires in the crops of the Ghab Plain region, west of Hama, northwest Syria.
The government forces targeted, from their positions in Jorin Camp, the agricultural lands in the vicinity of the town of Ziyarah and the villages of al-Mashik and al-Gargour in the Gab Plain, with missiles and heavy artillery shells, local sources told North Press.
The bombing caused fires in crops near the town of al-Ziyarah, where the area was estimated at about 30 acres of wheat and nigella crops, the sources added.
The sources indicated that the bombing and the presence of the lands close to the government forces’ checkpoints prevented the Civil Defense teams from reaching the aforementioned area.
The government’s deliberate bombing of agricultural lands in the Ghab Plain area has caused the burning of about 350 acres of wheat, barley and nigella crops, within less than a week.
There are large spaces that have not yet been harvested, in light of the residents’ fear of being targeted by the government forces stationed in Jorin Camp in the Ghab Plain and the surrounding checkpoints, according to sources from the area.

[NPASYRIA] On Tuesday, the de-escalation zones in Idlib, northwest Syria, witnessed mutual shelling between Ottoman Turkish-backed armed opposition groups and Syrian government forces, amid reports of the arrival of military reinforcements for the government forces to the area.
The government forces targeted sites of opposition groups in the towns of Sufuhn, al-Fatira and Kafr Oweid in Zawiya Mountain region, south of Idlib, with rockets and heavy artillery shells, military sources of the opposition told North Press.
The bombing caused massive material damage to public and private properties, and coincided with intense flight of Russian drones and warplanes over the area, the sources added.
The gangs, in turn, targeted the sites of the Syrian government forces in the cities of Ma’arat al-Nu’man and Kafr Nabl, south of Idlib, with heavy artillery shells, a military source of the opposition told North Press.
During the past 48 hours, the government forces had brought in new military reinforcements to their positions in Zawiya Mountain, Ghab Plain, Jabal al-Akrad and Turkmen Mountain north of Latakia, according to the same source

[NPASYRIA] Since yesterday evening, the city of Manbij, north Syria, has been witnessing protests that were said to be against the "duty of self-defense," while the Manbij Military Council accused parties it described as "known for seeking to spread discord," amid testimonies that the government forces targeting the protesters.
The city of Manbij witnessed protests, which activists said on social media, they were against the duty of self-defense, which the Autonomous Administration enacted in 2014, to be implemented later on all areas of its control.
"The duty of self-defense has been implemented for seven years without any problems, and this confirms that those parties are trying to exploit the economic conditions and the difficulties that the Syrians suffer from in order to achieve goals and agendas that serve the interests of parties aiming to destabilize Manbij," the Council said earlier today.
A number of protesters bit the dust, and social media accounts accused the security forces in Manbij of being behind the incidents, local sources in the city said.
Eyewitnesses from the village of al-Hudhud, north of Manbij, told North Press that members of the Syrian government forces "were in a car, and shot the protesters before fleeing."
Four young residents of the village bit the dust as a result of the incident, including Wafa Hassan al-Bahiwi, who died after arriving at the hospital, and Muhanna al-Bahiwi who was injured as a result of the accident, according to eyewitnesses.
The Council cited the targeting of "security and military headquarters by some people and criminal cells receiving instructions from outside parties, resulting in casualties and injuries."
A state of tension followed the incident among the residents of al-Hudhud village, who "went in the evening to the neighboring village of al-Thiyabat and stormed a military post of the Military Council, and then headed to al-Khattaf Checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Manbij, to stop there for about half an hour before returning to the village."

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
