From my neck of the woods
[BizPakReview] While the Biden administration is preoccupied with a war on domestic terrorism, fueled by the mythical threat of white supremacy, and the FBI is busy chasing down “insurrectionists” who were supposedly trying to overthrow the government, extremist groups exist in America.
Included among those groups are black nationalists who boldly declare in a public setting that the time will come when “black Americans will kill everything white in sight.” A threat that was roundly ignored by the media establishment.
The National Black Power Convention was held over the weekend in Tulsa, Okla., to mark the 100-year anniversary of the Black Wall Street Massacre. Events included a Second Amendment March for Reparations, with many participants exercising their right to open carry. More at the link

..that's were our academia is working on getting them use to separate dorms, student unions, and classes. They may not realize it, but they're leading the return to segregation now, segregation forever.

Segregation is probably the only viable way for this country to hold together.
We really can't continue any longer with the fiction that we have rule of law, or that BLM is about "justice," or that our elites give a flying hoot about white Americans who aren't connected to powerful insiders and oligarchs.
We have to protect ourselves. It's either separate or take arms.

If you needed to have a threat of racism and oppressive white supremacy as a cause for tyranny, you are hard pressed when its a fantasy you created to get power. Now that you cheated your way to power, you seem to want to keep pressing the outrageous button to get the backlash that will look a lot like what you lied about to begin with. Ex post facto reality won't matter to the rubes you fooled to begin with...but what you haven't considered is the rest of us who know what you are and what you did,74+million of us whose forbearance has been because you were considered misguided fellow citizens, not revolutionary thieves. You have burned that bridge, and now you are just a problem to be dealt with
[IsraelTimes] The chief of police in Dearborn, a bankrupt, increasingly impoverished, reliably Democrat, Detroit ... ruled by Democrats since 1962. A city whose Golden Age included the Purple Gang... suburb with a substantial Arab American minority, apologized for liking a pro-Israel social media post after drawing criticism for it from some in his community.
"A couple days ago, I liked a profile photo of a colleague and professional friend that I have now learned also contained a message that upset many people," Ronald Haddad said on May 18, the Detroit Free Press reported. "I’m sorry for any hurt or confusion that mistake caused."
Haddad, who is Lebanese-American and Christian, said he identified with the "Paleostinian struggle" and later posted a photo of a Paleostinian flag in his office.
"This Paleostinian flag has been in my office for years," he said. "My Lebanese parents raised me on the Paleostinian struggle for rights. So let me be clear. I am a proud Arab American, and I loudly say: #FreePaleostine."
Haddad came under fire from local leaders after he liked a change in a profile picture by a police officer in another department. On May 11 — a day after the latest Israel-Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, war started — the officer added an "I stand with Israel" banner to his profile picture.
The new profile photo also bore the logo of the American Jewish Committee.
[ToloNews] The US Department of Defense has asked for $3.3 billion for the 2022 fiscal year budget in operational support to sustain the Afghan cops, a 9.2% increase from 2021.
Biden’s $715 billion Department of Defense budget includes a 2.7% pay raise for troops and shifts billions in spending from old systems to help pay to modernize the nuclear arsenal to deter China.
The defense spending request for fiscal 2022 that was sent to US Congress on Friday invests in troop readiness, space, the Pacific Deterrence Initiative aimed at countering China's military build-up in Asia and nuclear weapons technology, according to a report by Rooters.
Pentagon officials have said that the United States would still support Afghanistan through financial means, not boots on the grounds, according to a report by Defense One.
The US Army would get $173.0 billion under the Pentagon’s fiscal 2022 budget request, down from the $176.6 billion it received in the current fiscal year, according to its budget documents, Defense One reports.
According to the report, the US Army will see a $3.2 billion decrease in costs in operation and maintenance funds due to the Afghanistan and Iraq drawdowns.
If inflation stays at 4 percent, the report says, that would mean a real decrease of about 6 percent — a steeper real decline than in the overall defense budget request, which at $715 billion would decline about 3 percent in real terms from the current year.
Quoting senior defense officials, Defense One reports that Biden’s decision to withdraw from Afghanistan means the Navy and Air Force need more money and the Army less.
The withdrawal of the US and NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions... forces from the country started on May 1. So far, according to figures provided by US Central Command, the Pentagon has retrograded the equivalent of approximately 160 C-17 loads of material out of Afghanistan and has turned over more than 10,000 pieces of equipment to the Defense Logistics Agency for disposition.
A key military base of US forces in downtown, the New Kabul Compound, also known as NKC, was handed over to the Ministry of Defense at a ceremony on Friday.
The figures also show that the US had by last week officially handed over five facilities to the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan.
US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. The very model of probity.... in a speech on Friday honored the sacrifice of combat veterans ahead of the planned withdrawal later this year from Afghanistan and said they have achieved their purpose in the country — which was "to prevent al Qaeda from using Afghanistan as a base from which to attack America in the future.
Addressing US service members in a hangar at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia, Biden said the US went to Afghanistan with a clear purpose: "to get the people who attacked us on 9/11 and to prevent al Qaeda from using Afghanistan as a base from which to attack America in the future. To achieve that purpose — you achieved that purpose."

$3.3 billion for the 2022 fiscal year budget in operational support to sustain the Afghan security forces,
Who are doing such a fine job with all those numbers [even their ghost personnel]. But they need your money to keep doing it. Yes, yes! The need for $$$ is all that's holding them from utterly annihilating terrorism from their 'stan. Like the other 'stan next door, all they need is the moolah 'financial support'. A few billion [annually] can end this evil forever and usher in democracy. Wouldn't you like that? Oh, when will that moolah support arrive?
Because if it doesn't, a school full of girls might pay for your reluctance.

The Democrats cut off funding in 3 years and then helicopters on the embassy roof.
Even without the funding, the Afghans might beat the Taliban. After the US withdrawal sometime in 1973, DRV (North Vietnam) got this huge infusion of tanks, fighter-bombers and artillery and both Chinese and Soviet aid. RVN (South Vietnam) got bupkis.
For the Taliban, Pakistan isn't up to filling the role of the Soviets and the Chinese as head moneybags and armorer. Does Xi Jinping want the Taliban in charge? Maybe - if he wants a pretext for conquest and eventual annexation. Afghanistan, a chunk of which might arguably have been part of the Tang Dynasty, would certainly be an easy conquest for any power willing to pacify it using the old rules of war (i.e. the ones used so handily by the Greeks to pacify and rule Persia for centuries).
https://www.timemaps.com/history/china-750ad/
A guerrilla force that isn't subject to large-scale atrocity against its civilian supporters, even as it uses atrocity to cow its opponents in the government can fight on for a long time. But the idea in the media that the Taliban "controls" anything is BS - like saying that the cartels "control" Mexico. The day the cartels try to take over the Federal government in Mexico City, they'll find out who controls what.
And the day US troops pull out, the Afghan government will have a freer hand to match the Taliban atrocity for atrocity. Without Uncle Sam's protection, how many foreign journos will stay on to record on a one-sided basis, government atrocities to match the Taliban's?
Note that there's also a huge difference between the Taliban and the DRV. The DRV never sponsored a mass killing on American soil. In the back of every US politician's mind is - what happens when the Taliban leadership, once again in charge of Afghanistan, tries once again to arrange a one-way ticket to Paradise in collaboration with al Qaeda, but this time with nukes? It's not so much the attack that worries them, but an attack on DC, where Congresscritters and the President live.
Note that 9/11 occurred with no prior notification, leaving los Federales all the way up to the President with no time to huddle in bunkers. What if 9/11 had been an A-bomb attack? Dubya and any part of the Federal government in DC would have been swept away. That's why the aid is likely to continue - simple self-preservation.
At what cost -- especially the opportunity cost entailed by not devoting our scarce resources and attention to the only really major threat to our security, Communist China
[ToloNews] Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... has been under increasing pressure by government forces on multiple fronts and has suffered a major setback in different regions over the last few weeks as they have mounted their attacks on Afghanistan's defense and security forces, the Afghan intelligence chief Ahmad Zia Saraj said.
Saraj said that 1,500 Talibs were killed in just one week. The Defense Ministry said Saturday that 210 Taliban fighters were killed in counterattacks by Afghan forces in 18 provinces in the last 24 hours.
Saraj said that the pressure by Afghan forces on the Taliban has created cracks among their ranks, mounting pressure on their designated military chief Mullah Yaqub.
"Casualties have also created major problems among their leadership. Pressure has increased on Mullah Yaqub because he has failed to use these people in their desired directions; therefore, they have started recruiting children," Saraj said.
Taliban has rejected the figures on their casualties.
Saraj said that Afghan forces have managed to repel a series of Taliban’s massive offensives on a few strategic locations across the country.
At the same news conference, National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib in response to a question about reports on Pakistain halting contacts with him, said that such reports are not true.
"Relations with Pakistain whether it is there or not have no big impact. The relations have never been good so far," said Mohib.

[THENEWSNIGERIA.NG] His name means "the man from Bornu" in Arabic, but Abu Musab al-Barnawi officially became the leader of the now unified ISWAP/Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... terrorist group following the death of his former principal, Abubakar Shekau ...the lunatic leader of Boko Haram who has been reported dead at least eleven times, pledged his body and soul to ISIS, told his fighters to hang it up once or twice, and been fired by the Caliph and refused to step down. Last seen in 2017, sneaking into Cameroon while wearing a burka... , both of whom fell out on ideological grounds in 2015.
For Albarnawy, about whom little is in the public space, this is a dream come true, his re-emergence from the fringes and obscurity into limelight. But unlike his former, expired boss, he is not given to hogging the limelight and rhetorics.
Still, many see his re-emergence as a move by the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... , IS, to unify the already fractured terrorist group and re-strategize.
Albarnawy himself claimed he had received directives from the IS to take over and coordinate all activities of the faceless myrmidons under one umbrella for easy movement of funds, weapons, and materials. To achieve this objective, ISWAP has taken over all territories under Shekau’s control and arrested 30 commanders loyal to him. Before then, other commanders loyal to Shekau had surrendered to him.
Here are facts on the new ISWAP/Boko Haram leader.
Al-barnawi is the eldest surviving son of Mohammed Yusuf, the founder of Boko Haram who was extra-judicially murdered by the Nigerian police in 2009.
His name is derived from Arabic, meaning: "The man from Borno."
He first appeared in a Boko Haram video in 2015 claiming he was front man of Boko Haram, before it pledged allegiance to ISIS.
He later fell out with Shekau and went underground. Many thought he had lost relevance and was of little significance.
On 3 August 2016, the Islamic State reported in the 41st issue of its newspaper al-Naba, that he had been appointed the new leader of their West African branch. This was because Shekau refused to adhere to their demands and ideology.
Shekau not only rejected what he regarded as the imposition of al-barnawi, calling it a coup detat in a video, he also refused to recognise Albarnawi’s authority, which made the group to split into two factions, Shekau retained Jamaat Ahlus Sunnah li Dawah wal Jihad as the original name of the group, while al-barnawi led the Islamic State’s West African province (ISWAP).
Al-barnawi was the leader of ISWAP between 2016 and 2019. Though he was considered a figure head then with real power being held by his second in command, Malam Nur. Nur was later assassinated by more radical ISWAP commanders in August 2018.
A-lbarnawy had been living on the fringes since 2019 and many thought he had lost relevance.
Like his late principal, Shekau, he also speaks against western education and democracy, though his tactics are different. While Shekau believes in exterminating all non-adherents of the Koran, A-lbarnawi believes mosques and Moslems should be spared.
In an interview he granted al-Naba Newspaper, al-barnawi was quoted as describing Boko Haram’s activities in Nigeria as a war fought by Moslems against "apostates" and "crusaders."

[AlAhram] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... 's foreign minister began a trip to Greece on Sunday, quickly angering his hosts with tweets about his meeting with members of the Moslem minority.
"In Greece to meet members of Ottoman Turkish Minority in Western Thrace and discuss our bilateral relations," Mevlut Cavusoglu tweeted as soon as he touched down at the airport in Alexandroupolis, in the northeastern region close to the Ottoman Turkish border.
Cavusoglu visited a school as well as a village and the Ottoman Turkish consulate, where he met with representatives of the Moslem minority.
"I emphasized that we will always stand resolutely with the Ottoman Turkish Minority in their struggle for their rights and underlined once again our strong support," he tweeted afterwards.
Athens describes the minority as multi-ethnic Moslems, and Cavusoglu's description of them as "Ottoman Turkish" prompted an angry response from the Greek foreign ministry.
"The Moslem minority in Thrace has about 120,000 Greek inhabitants," the ministry said in a statement.
"Turkey's constant attempts to distort this reality, as well as the allegations of non-protection of the rights of these citizens, or of discrimination, are unfounded and are rejected in their entirety," it added.
"Greece would like to improve relations with Turkey, but with the respect for international law as a prerequisite."
Moslems in the Thrace region were given minority status in Greece after the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne, which ended a war between Greece and Turkey.
Turkey has often claimed that Greece fails to properly protect the rights of the minority, many of whom are of Ottoman Turkish descent and Ottoman Turkish-speaking.
During a heated presser in Ankara in mid-April, Cavusoglu raised the issue with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.
"You don't allow the Ottoman Turkish minority (in Greece) to call themselves Ottoman Turkish. You call them Moslems," he said.
"If they call themselves Ottoman Turkish, they are Ottoman Turkish -- you have to recognise this."
Cavusoglu is due to meet Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis as well as Dendias in Athens on Monday.
Cavusoglu had previously said the aim of his visit was to prepare for a bilateral meeting between Mitsotakis and Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important... during a NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions... summit in Brussels on June 14.
While the Greek media said Cavusoglu's visit was a "test" of how his meetings would go in Athens, the Greek government had tried to downplay any significance of the Thrace trip ahead of his arrival.
"The visit in Thrace is a private visit. Greece is an open, democratic country that does not forbid private visits. As far as the (Thrace) minority is concerned, it is enjoying a status of equality," Greek government spokeswoman Aristotelia Peloni said on Thursday.
The status of Greece's Moslem minority is one of several points of contention between the two NATO allies.
Byzantine heritage inside Turkey, after Ankara's move last year to convert the revered Hagia Sophia cathedral from a museum into a mosque sparked fury from Athens, is another.
Relations also plunged last year during a face-off over a wealth of energy deposits in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

The NIA charged Mohammad Iqbal alias Senthil Kumar aged 31 years.
The case was first registered by the Madurai police after it was found that the accused was uploading denigrating posts on the social media. Later on the case was transferred to the NIA.
Investigation has revealed that the posts on the Facebook page "Thoonga Vizhigal Rendu is in Kazimar Street" were uploaded by Iqbal to incite communal disharmony amongst different religious groups, in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, the NIA said in its chargesheet.

More than 1,000 rallied Saturday in Washington in support of Paleostinians and calling for an end to US aid to Israel.
One thousand? Golly — that’ll show ‘em!
The demonstration on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial came as a ceasefire that ended 11 days of intense fighting between Israel and the Islamist movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip has so far held.
"We are hoping to send a clear message to the United States government that the days of supporting the Israeli state without repercussions are over," one of the demonstrators, 39-year-old Washington lawyer Sharif Silmi, said as he stood in the crowd where many protesters held red, white, green and black Paleostinian flags.
"We will stand against any politician that continues to fund weapons to Israel. We will oppose them, we will vote against them, we will fund their opponents, until we vote them out of office," said Silmi.
Lama Alahmad, a resident of neighboring Virginia who is of Paleostinian origin, said US public opinion is turning in favor of the Paleostinian cause.
"There is a huge change" going on in the US with regard to the Paleostinian cause seeking a sovereign homeland, said Alahmad.
"We just want the world to recognize that we are human beings. We are not terrorists," said Alahmad, a 43-year-old stay at home mother who grew up in the United Arab Emirates before moving to the US around 20 years ago.
Silmi insisted there was now broad opposition in the US to how Israel treats the Paleostinians, which he likened to apartheid in South Africa.
"People have now woken up, and we're resisting. Whether young Jews, young Moslems, young Blacks, young whites, there is a generational shift. And people are working across ethnic groups, racial groups, to work for change and freedom and liberation for Paleostinian people," Silmi said

Yeah, those IDF chumps... it's a wonder they've managed to survive this long. Heh, it's almost like God is looking out for them or something.
They have to hit the rockets above Lebanon.
"Shoot the archer, not the arrow." A missile battery has a fire rate of whatever. A missile battery blown to hell and gone has a reload time approaching infinity, and therefore a fire rate of essentially zero.
When festivities with the Hezbies finally jumps off, it will be a race between Hezbollah launching everything they've got before it gets destroyed and the IDF blowing it up before it can be used. It will be fast and violent. Niceties like "roof knocking" and minimal collateral damage are not in the picture. Iron Dome will buy some time and reduce damage, but it is not 100%. The Israelis will have to work fast.
