[CHICAGO.SUNTIMES] Three people were killed and 14 others were maimed by gun violence in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... over five hours Thursday night into Friday morning, with shootings now up 36% over last year.
The violent mostly peaceful night comes as the Chicago Police Department prepares for the traditional summer surge in violence. Last weekend had the most shooting victims so far this year.
While shootings are up 36% from the same period last year, homicides are up 19%, according to data kept by the Chicago Sun-Times. At least 1,244 people have been shot this year and there have been at least 244 homicides.
Overnight, a 56-year-old man was killed in a double shooting in Grand Crossing on the South Side. He and another man, 54, were shot as they stood outside in the 7300 block of South Blackstone about 3:20 a.m. The 56-year-old died at a hospital, while the other man was in fair condition.
At 2:15 a.m., a man was rubbed out as he stood outside with friends in Englewood. The man, 27, was shot in his back and chest in the 6000 block of South Racine Avenue. Another man, 33, was maimed by the gunfire as he was changing a tire, police said.
Around 6:30 a.m., police found a man who was rubbed out in Austin on the West Side. The man was found in a vacant lot in the 4700 block of West Jackson Boulevard with a gunshot wound to his head, police said. He appeared to have been shot "a while ago," police said.

[ARABNEWS] Since the inauguration of President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter... in January, a dramatic humanitarian crisis has arisen on the US southern border, where thousands of people are trying to enter the country illegally, driven by several statements made by Biden when he was the Democratic presidential candidate.
Waves of men, women and kiddies have been arriving at entry points in several states. In March, about172,000 people, including more than 18,000 unaccompanied children, attempted entry to the US — a 71 percent increase on the previous month, according to US Customs and Border Protection. As of early May, 22,500 unaccompanied minors were being held by the authorities.
Security experts are estimating that, by the end of this fiscal year on Sept. 30, up to 800,000 people will have crossed the border in the space of 12 months.
The main winners from this chaotic situation are the smugglers, human traffickers and cartels that have turned US border cities into small oases for their illegal activities. Nonofficial estimates indicate that the cartels are making about $14 million a day by smuggling humans. What is more concerning is that nobody will be able to uncover the number of unaccompanied minors who have been sexually assaulted, groomed or victimized by these cartels.
As the political pressure on the Biden administration grew, with the White House being urged to address the surge in unaccompanied, undocumented migrant minors, Biden announced on March 24 that he had appointed Vice President Kámala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, then a senatrix from California, former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful, and now Joe Biden's wing nut. She's displaying her level of competence in her hanling of the Biden Border Surge to lead efforts to stem migration across the US-Mexico border.
At a White House immigration meeting, Biden explained his VP’s new task of launching a diplomatic discussion with the governments of Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras in a bid to restrain the flow of migrants colonists and to adopt long-term strategies that would address the root causes of the problem. At this meeting, Harris expressed her desire to work with the private sector, civil society and members of Congress who share the administration’s vision.
But working on such long-term goals will obviously not solve the current border crisis or provide protection for the children who have been sent alone to face an uncertain fate.

[MAIL] President Donald Trump decided against firing the FBI director he appointed, Christopher Wray, after Attorney General Bill Barr threatened to quit.
Politico was out with new details about the incident Thursday, reporting that in April 2020 Trump came the closest to ousting Wray, who he felt was weak.
Wray frustrated Trump whenever he defended the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which the ex-president felt enabled 'spying' on his 2016 campaign.
Trump would also get angry with Wray whenever he gave testimony about Russia and when he talked about election security.

[BREITBART] A Georgia judge is allowing officials to audit roughly 145,000 absentee ballots cast in Fulton County in the 2020 election, attempting to ensure the integrity and security of the state’s elections.
The audit will allow for the examination of signatures on the ballots to ensure that they are legitimate, according to a Georgia Star News report.
"Voter confidence in our election system is the bedrock of our republic. Unfortunately, inconsistencies in Fulton County’s November 2020 absentee ballots cast serious doubt on voters’ faith in our elections," former Sen. Kelly Loeffler said in a statement.
Georgia residents have been particularly concerned about Fulton County.
Files provided by county officials show there are no chain of custody documents — absentee ballot transfer forms — for 385 out of the 1,591 dropbox collections that took place in Fulton County between September 24, 2020, and November 3, 2020, the Georgia Star News reports.

The Arizona state Senate claimed Maricopa County election officials then tampered with election records just days before the equipment was delivered to the Arizona Senate, the Georgia Star News reports.
Last week, the president of the Arizona State Senate asked the chairman of the Maricopa Board of Supervisors to address "three serious issues that have arisen in the course of the Senate’s ongoing audit of the returns of the November 3, 2020 general election in Maricopa County."
The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors later refused the invitation to meet with the Arizona State Senate to discuss how to resolve the issues.
