[IsraelTimes] Los Angeles police on Saturday announced the arrest of a suspect in an alleged attack by a pro-Paleostinian group on Jewish men outside a restaurant earlier in the week.
A police statement, which did not identify the man, said he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon late Friday at a residence outside the city of Los Angeles with assistance from a US Marshals Service task force.
Increased bail was requested "due to the crime being motivated by hatred," the statement said.
"The male is one of the primary suspects in the assault and beating of several men who were outside of a restaurant in the evening hours in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles on Tuesday May 18, 2021," it said.
The violence, recorded on video, occurred when a car caravan flying Paleostinian flags stopped near a restaurant where diners were eating at outdoor tables.
Witnesses told news media that people in the caravan threw bottles and chanted "death to Jews" and "free Paleostine," and men got out of the vehicles and began asking who was Jewish. A brawl erupted when two diners said they were Jewish.

The front man for Takhar police blamed the Taliban for the mortar attack.
Moreover, two children were killed and two women were maimed when a mortar hit a house in Lashkargah, the center of Helmand province.
The ministry of defense said that a passenger bus hit a roadside kaboom in PD7 of Lashkargah in Helmand province, nine people were killed and two children and a woman were reportedly injured in the incident.
In a similar incident, four non-combatants were killed in western Ghor province in the Kharistan area of Feroz Koh, the incident happened when the victims were traveling on a cycle of violence in the region.
A couple and two of their children were reportedly killed in this incident.
The ministry of defense said at least eight security force members were killed in a Taliban attack in Guzargah-e-Noor district in Baghlan province on Friday.
Some reports indicate that in the incident 20 Talibs including the group’s designated district governor were killed in operations in Guzargah-e-Noor, Juldga, and Baghlan-e-Jadid districts of the Baghlan province. In another security incident, a man was killed in the PD16 Macroryan-e-Kohna area of Kabul city.
[Garowe] At least three coppers were killed by al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... snuffies on Friday in Mandera, following an IED explosion which was followed by a shootout in Banisa, few kilometers near the Kenya-Æthiopia border.
Police reports indicate that the special officers who are specialized in dealing with terrorism ran over an IED near Banisa center before the snuffies who were hiding in the nearby bush opened fire against the officers.
A brief shootout ensued with officers managing to overwhelm the bad boys, who took to the nearby bushes before escaping from the scene. Police officers are still pursuing the snuffies according to authorities in Nairobi.
Several other officers were maimed following the unfortunate incident and they have since been airlifted to Nairobi for treatment. Banisa is several kilometers West of Mandera town which borders Somalia.
This comes a few days after al-Shabaab also attacked Kenya Defense Forces [KDF] soldiers in Lamu, along Kenya's coastal strip. At leader three KDF officers died following the attack while others were critically injured.

There is a heavy presence of KDF in Lamu, Garissa, Mandera, and Wajir counties due to persistent attackers by the Somalia-based krazed killers. However, it's easy to be generous with someone else's money... the group has not carried any major attack in Kenya for almost two months, an indication that it has been significantly subdued.
KDF has close to 3,500 soldiers working under the African Union ...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. Police in London on Sunday said four people have been arrested over a video in which pro-Paleostinian demonstrators were heard screaming antisemitic abuse while driving through Jewish areas of north London.
The four were arrested on suspicion of "racially aggravated public order offenses," according to the Metropolitan Police. They remain in jug after being arrested Sunday.
"This behavior was utterly shocking and will not be tolerated. I understand that this would have caused considerable concern within the community and we have arranged extra patrols in the St. John’s Wood and Golders Green areas this evening," a police superintendent said in a statement.
In the video, cars with Paleostinian flags are seen driving through areas of the British capital with many Jewish residents while honking their horns and screaming "F*** their mothers, rape their daughters."

[IsraelTimes] Police in Germany said they are investigating a Jewish man’s report of being punched in the face and abused with antisemitic language while walking home in Berlin early Saturday.
A Berlin police news release said the 41-year-old man wearing a traditional skullcap, or kippa, passed three other men in Duerer Square at about 2:15 a.m. One of three punched him in the face, knocking him against a shop window, and added an antisemitic insult, the man told police when he reported the incident at a local precinct.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released. Police said the men have not been located.

The head of the Central Council of Moslems in Germany also condemned antisemitic chants during the protests.
German police made some 60 arrests last Saturday while some 100 officers were hurt as a pro-Paleostinian rally in Berlin turned violent mostly peaceful.
Some participants at marches in towns across Germany shouted anti-Semitic slogans, which Merkel blasted as "unacceptable." Others burned Israeli flags and in one case stoned the entrance to a synagogue.
More demonstrations in support of the Paleostinians are scheduled for this weekend, in Berlin and in other cities.
Around 3,500 people had gathered in the German capital’s Neukoelln district on Saturday afternoon in one of several rallies over the conflict in the Gazoo Strip, according to police.
Protesters threw stones, bottles and fireworks as police tried to break up the demonstration, injuring 93 officers and prompting them to use pepper spray.
Several people are being investigated for shouting anti-Israel slogans, the police said.
Around 900 officers were deployed to several demonstrations during the day, with the others passing mainly peacefully.
Germany has seen several scattered demonstrations over the escalating conflict, with protesters shouting antisemitic slogans, burning Israeli flags and damaging the entrance to a synagogue with stones.

[REUTERS] U.S. authorities have confiscated roughly $90,000 from a Utah man who sold footage of a woman being fatally shot during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of former President Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... , according to court filings.
Prosecutors also have filed additional criminal charges against the man, John Earle Sullivan, a self-described political activist who is accused of entering the Capitol building and participating in the riot, the filings unsealed on Thursday showed.
Sullivan now faces a total of eight criminal counts, including weapons charges, related to the riot. Sullivan's lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Prosecutors have charged more than 440 people in connection with the attack in which Trump supporters stormed the Capitol after he gave a speech to them repeating his false claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him through widespread voting fraud. The mob smashed windows, fought police and sent politicians into hiding. Five people died.

Sullivan recorded video of the confrontation between rioters and police just outside the U.S. House of Representatives chamber that included the shooting of protester Ashli Babbitt and, according to court filings, boasted to an unnamed witness that "my footage is worth like a million of dollars, millions of dollars."
Sullivan sold that footage to several news outlets for a total of $90,000, according to a seizure warrant. The news outlets were redacted from the warrant.
According to media reports, Sullivan participated in Black Lives Matter protests last year.

[israelTimes] Police said Saturday they had arrested a fourth suspect in the attack on Arab man who was savagely beaten by a mob in Bat Yam, the latest in a number of arrests of Jewish suspects in connection with recent violence.
The first 116 suspects indicted for incidents related to the unrest were all Arab, drawing accusations of discriminatory policing from left-wing politicians.
The suspect in his 20s will appear in court on Saturday night where police will submit a request to extend his remand. Three suspects have already been arrested in connection with the savage May 12 attack on Saeed Mousa that was caught on film and shocked the country.
Charges are expected to be filed against them next week for a number of violent mostly peaceful offences related to the attack, the Kan public broadcaster reported.

Clashes broke out Saturday between police and dozens of protesters in Sheikh Jarrah, an East Jerusalem neighborhood that has been a key flashpoint over the pending eviction of several Paleostinian families from homes claimed by Jewish nationalists.
Police say some of the protesters threw bottles at cops on the scene, while chanting and singing songs in praise of "deaders." Officers were working to "restore order" and disperse the protest, according to a police statement.

[IsraelTimes] TV says IDF identified and killed several Death Eaters attempting to infiltrate through tunnel and kill soldiers; Israel also said to have delayed truce to carry out major operation.
The Israel Defense Force foiled a major attack by Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, in the hours before the ceasefire went into effect, Channel 12 reported Friday, speculating that had the attack succeeded it could have derailed the truce.
According to the unsourced report, the IDF identified a Hamas cell as it made its way through an underground tunnel, apparently intent on emerging close to the Israeli border and attacking soldiers. The air force carried out a precision strike on the tunnel, killing the button men, the report said.
The report noted that with Israel’s newly completed underground barrier, the cell would not have been able to get into Israel and attack civilians, but would rather have emerged close to the border fence and fired on troops deployed at the border.
The IDF declined to comment on the report, but the TV channel noted that the information had been approved for release by the IDF censor.
Also Friday, Channel 12 reported that the ceasefire had been delayed by up to 48 hours to allow the IDF to carry out a final mission.
The report said it had no details on what that mission might have been and noted that Hamas may not even be aware it happened. If it was, it was not acknowledging it.
The report said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted at the strike in a presser earlier Friday.
Netanyahu said that not everything regarding the outcome and impact of the Israeli strikes is yet known to the public, or even to Hamas: "We did daring and innovative things, without getting dragged into an unnecessary misadventure."
Netanyahu also said that although the terror group wanted to carry out many cross-border attacks — including at the tail-end of the operation — it was thwarted by Israel’s subterranean barrier, which has electronic sensors, which detected Death Eaters and enabled the IDF to "destroy" them.

The ISA claimed that Israel has stepped up its intelligence activities "to gather information about the resistance and its movements as part of an effort to update its bank of targets."
The Hamas security agency also warned Palestinians against making statements to "suspicious parties impersonating relief or charitable institutions."
Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip said the warning was given in an attempt to hide the damage caused to its tunnels and weapons arsenals during the Israeli air strikes. The sources pointed out that the headquarters of the ISA were completely destroyed by Israel during the fighting. Other sources predicted that Hamas would soon arrest scores of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on suspicion of "collaboration" with Israel during the fighting. Let the Internal Purge™ begin.

[Arutz7] - Just days after Israel accused Iran of providing drones to Hamas in Gaza, a factory where such drones are manufactured has fallen victim to a mysterious explosion.
The blast, at the Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company, injured at least nine workers. According to The Guardian, the factory "produces a variety of aircraft and drones for Iranian and pro-Iranian forces."
Last week, while the Israel-Gaza war was still raging, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu displayed what he said were shards from an Iranian-made drone that the IDF had downed.
So far, Iran has noted merely that "the reason for the explosion is under investigation."
The blast ocurred at Sepahan Nargostar Chemical Industries at 4:00 am local time (2330 GMT) due to "unclear reasons still being investigated," said Mansour Shisheforoush, head of the province's crisis management organization.
The plant is located about 45 kilometers (just under 30 miles) northwest of Isfahan city.
The company manufactures "industrial-commercial explosive materials" and was established in 1941, according to its website.

Field sources told North Press that government forces targeted the groups’ sites in Jabal Turkman area, north of Latakia, with heavy artillery shells and missiles, with no casualties reported.
The government forces stationed in Camp Gorin also targeted locations of the gangs in the village of Khirbet al-Naqus, west of Hama, with heavy artillery shells, according to the same sources.
In Idlib, the government forces continued shelling the villages and towns of al-Fatira, Kafr Aweid, Sufuhn, Fleifel, and the outskirts of the town of Kansafra in Zawiya Mountain region, according to field sources.
The bombing coincided with intense flight of Russian warplanes over Idlib, the countryside of Hama, and Latakia, while no casualties reported.
In the context of the mutual bombardment, military sources told North Press that Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room targeted positions of the government forces in the town of Tah, south of Idlib, with heavy artillery shells.

The gangs also bombed the sites of the government forces in the vicinity of the city of Kafr Nabl and al-Malajah frontline in Zawiya Mountain region, south of Idlib, and the sources confirmed direct hit.
