[Breitbart] Weslaco Station Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector patrolling the border river came in contact with a group of 119 migrants. Human smugglers pushed the migrants across the river during dangerous storms, according to information provided by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.
The agents classified the migrants as 93 family units and 26 “noncitizen unaccompanied children,” officials stated. The foreign nationals came to the U.S. from Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.
“Due to the heavy rain and thunderstorms passing through the Rio Grande Valley, agents and contractors immediately transported the migrants to shelter at the Port of Entry (POE) in Hidalgo, Texas,” Rio Grande Valles Sector officials said in the written statement. “The intake procedures usually conducted at the place of encounter, were done at the POE in order to keep the migrants, which included very young children, out of the severe weather.”
The Rio Grande Valley Sector continues to lead the nine southwest border sectors in the apprehension of migrants, particularly families and unaccompanied minors.
In April, RGV agents apprehended 60,839 migrants of the total 173,460 southwest border total. Of those, officials classified more than 30,000 as family units and nearly 10,000 as unaccompanied minors. These apprehensions are up by more than 18,000 and 4,200 percent respectively, according to the Southwest Land Border Encounters Report released by CBP officials earlier this week.

[Breitbart] On Tuesday, Zavala County Sheriff’s deputies and Border Patrol arrested two U.S. citizens for suspicion of human trafficking near La Pryor, Texas. Six passengers were determined to be migrants illegally present in the country. Two of those were Pakistani nationals.
The arrest of human smugglers on border highways is becoming common due to the surge in migrant crossings. Encountering Pakistani nationals in these types of stops are uncommon at the moment, however.
A source working for Customs and Border Protection says they are detaining several migrants from Department of Homeland Security-designated “special interest” countries. The source says CBP is holding alien nationals of Turkey (18), Pakistan (4), and Syria (1).

[ToloNews] A week after two power pylons were destroyed in Kabul’s Mirbacha Kot district, on Wednesday night faceless myrmidons blew up another power plant in Kalakan district.
On Thursday morning, as an engineer of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) was trying to repair a destroyed power pylon in the Kalakan district, a landmine in the area detonated, injured the DABS worker.
With the destruction of the power pylon on Wednesday, 260 megawatts of electricity to Kabul and other provinces, piped in from Uzbekistan, was cut off.
"Our colleagues started working in the morning, but, unfortunately, one of our colleagues was injured in the blast," said Sangar Niazi, a front man for Breshna.
A Kabul resident, Najibzadeh, said: "What justification is there for darkening houses and causing panic among the people?"
The explosion of a power pylon on the eve of the Eid festival is just one of about ten incidents that occurred in less than two weeks in the northern areas of Kabul.
The security forces could not identify and arrest the perpetrators.
Residents of northern districts of Kabul say the lack of security forces and the arrival of unknown outsiders in various parts of the northern districts of Kabul are the reasons behind security incidents in this area.
Sayed Fakhruddin Hashemi, a resident of Kalakan, said: "They (suspects) came from different provinces, and the Wakil-e-Guzars (in-charge of a county) distributed fake IDs to them."
"Previously, Kalakan was one of the safest places, but now unknown people have been relocated here," said Javid, another Kalakan resident.
Electricity pylons have blown up twice in the last two weeks in the north of Kabul.
Recently, many security incidents were reported in the north of Kabul.
During the past week, in two different incidents, oil tankers caught fire in Mirbacha Kot district, a vehicle carrying Panjshir public health workers was targeted by a roadside mine, and a bus transporting a passenger from Bamyan was attacked by a kaboom in the Pul Matak area.
In the latest case, unidentified button men attacked a convoy of vehicles belonging to the Qarabagh district police chief yesterday in the north of Kabul.

[AlAhram] Authorities say 17 migrants colonists drowned and two were rescued Thursday after a boat trying to carry them to Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... sank off the Tunisian coast.
A naval mission saved two women from Nigeria off the coastal town of Zarzis who said their inflatable boat had sunk with 19 people aboard, defense ministry spokesperson Mohammed Zekri told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named.
The survivors told rescuers that the boat had left from Libya on Sunday and its engine broke down at sea, he said. Zarzis is about 70 kilometers (42 miles) from the Libyan border.
Safa Msehli of the International Organization for Migration tweeted: ``At least 17 migrants colonists drowned off the Tunisian coast today according to two survivors rescued by authorities.''
The two rescued women were transported to the regional hospital in Zarzis and then taken to a quarantine zone while they await results of virus tests, said the head of the Tunisian Red Thingy for the region.
It was at least the fourth deadly boat sinking in the last couple of months off Tunisian shores involving migrants colonists escaping conflict or poor living conditions to try to reach Europe.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Police dispersed a small protest in central Algiers on Friday and stopped other small groups of demonstrators from reaching the city center after weekly rallies since February that usually draw thousands.
It was unclear whether the small number of protesters who came out on Friday was due to Islam's Eid al-Fitr holiday or tougher government rules announced on Sunday.
Dozens of police rushed at the 100 people who tried to protest in central Algiers, forcing them to flee, a witness said. "Aiiieeeeee! Run away!"
In Bab al-Oued district, about 200 protesters marched but were unable to move past a police cordon to join groups elsewhere in the city, witnesses said.
Eid al-Fitr, when people traditionally gather with family or friends at the end of the Moslem fasting month of Ramadan, began on Thursday and continued on Friday.
On Sunday the Interior Ministry warned that it would no longer tolerate protests held without a permit that named the organizers and included starting and finishing times.
It laid down a challenge to the leaderless protest movement that erupted in 2019 when hundreds of thousands of people flooded the streets to protest then Abdelaziz Bouteflika ...10th president-for-life of Algeria. He was elected in 1999 and served on his third or four terms. When he announced for the fifth, or maybe it was the sixth, visibly doddering, a grateful nation rose up in its wrath and threw him out... 's candidacy for a fifth term as president.
The mass protests led the army, Algeria's ultimate power brokers, to abandon Bouteflika and he stepped down. However, we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by... the protests continued with demonstrators demanding a more thorough overhaul of the ruling elite, an end to corruption and for the army to quit politics.
Although the security forces have not moved to quash the protests with force, international rights groups have accused them of attempting to suppress the movement using a wave of arrests.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, elected in a vote boycotted by the protest movement, has praised the demonstrations as a moment of national renewal, but has also sought to end them.
Official campaigning starts next week for parliamentary elections, which the protest movement also looks set to boycott and which Tebboune hopes will help him turn a page on the unrest.

[NBC] Israeli warplanes pounded the Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing at least eight children in a refugee camp and flattening a high-rise building housing the offices of international media outlets as Hamas unleashed a new barrage of rockets targeting central Israel.
The bombardments — for a sixth consecutive day — fed fears of a return to all-out war between Israel and the militant group Hamas.

It's never really worked with the Iranian proxy Gazookians. It will probably never work. I suspect they need to go elsewhere, or be put to the sword. Sounds harsh, but are there any other remedies or solutions ?
#3
#2 You could add the West Bank & "Israeli" Arabs to Gazans, Besoeker. In fact, IMO, you could add all Muslims living outside Dir El Islam to that list.

#8 (a) Just because Hamas says 8 children were killed doesn't mean there was even 1.
(b) IDF always warns and gives time to evacuate when civilians are involved - so, if there are 8 dead children, the ones who ignored the warning are at fault.
(c) If my son is a legitimate target, then every "Palestinian", and every liberal, in the World are legitimate targets!

...We received a warning that the building would be hit. ... The world will know less about what is happening in Gaza because of what happened today. - only the parts that believe you.
Specifically: The building Israel blew up is actually an intelligence facility for the terrorist group Hamas. This is a statement of objective fact that is not actually in dispute.
#32
^One wonders if the reason Hamas intelligence & AP share a building is that they share personnel?
Precisely. And what is the way to make it cost heavily for AP and Hamas. It is to make a campaign denouncing AP-Hamas cooperation at same time that you attack the building.
You can't just attack the building without exposing the reasons for that. All media titles say Israel attack a "media" building.
#33
And you can attack a building destroying its interior instead of what Palestinians are doing to Israel building.
Israel have technical advantage why to not use them?
Now imagine if the media had only images of destruction in Israel...
#37
You don't get it. This is a great opportunity to denounce the media support for Palestinian terrorism and win a victory at several battle levels.
Instead you choose to loose.
Victory were every weapon contributes to win a war at several levels, in business terms maximize profit, exploiting the opportunity, all simple war concepts that are absent.
I am sure IDF have the map from where the rockets were fired from civilian places. Well they should make a campaign and/or put the data online for others to do it.
#38
It is documented that Hamas, among others, carefully makes use of human shields, placing their weapons caches, various headquarters, and fighting positions inside and under UN schools, mosques, hospitals, and international business offices.
As for the media talking about a media building being destroyed instead of saying that they are providing protection for their terrorist friends, unwilling hostages might indeed announce such a thing once they felt safe to do so, but it isn’t fair to expect fellow travelers to say something that will queer the deal. All international journalists there on assignment are volunteers for the location who could easily be working elsewhere in the world.
Who now remembers the foreigners who went to Saddam Hussein’s Iraq to act as human shields in 2003 against the coming American invasion? And them mugging for CNN’s camera as they sat chained together, too.
#39
I am sure IDF have the map from where the rockets were fired from civilian places. Well they should make a campaign and/or put the data online for others to do it.
That would be fun, yes. Though they tried that with the UN and Hezbollah’s storage locations, and their maps and photos were universally ignored. They tried it again with Iran’s nuclear bomb research and production facilities, and even after they emptied the warehouse under Iran’s collective nose, and showed the documents to the world again, along with maps and photos, nobody bothers to believe them. So possibly they see no point in sharing., when it will only be ignored while informing the enemy what they need to move elsewhere.
That is the way to defeat, you never give up.
You are always telling your story, if you don't tell your story you will disappear because you don't get allies.
Sri Lanki finally decided to ignore the 'world diplomats' which demanded 'peace talks' and 'cease fires' (which they had followed for several cycles of violence-talks/rebuild-violence) and simply continued to crush the brutal Terrorist organisation into Oblivion.
Sometimes you just have to do that.
#51
I can understand why people like a high tempo, especially when it comes to killing moslems.
But high tempo in this business is always of the devil. One escalates only when one has established escalation is being forced. Right now the enemy is whining about hudnas and waving around dead babies. The Israelis are doing the smartest thing they can in the circumstances. There's a whole international community full of f#ckers and their MSM ball lickers waiting to amplify the Israeli action into some giant war crime like they gang up on everything and everyone [Trump].
I just hope some yellowbellies in Tel Aviv do not convince the leadership of some pansy de-escalation or compromise when they are doing so well.
#52

You as military commander take consideration of landscape, industrial logistics as necessary to maintain a permanent fighting capacity . I defend that Israel should age a permanent ar against Palestinians terrorists, but not by putting it in the T screens because that makes international politics having to act. Is that so difficult to understand?

Of course they do. They're on the AP payroll as "stringers". They help the AP get good camera angles for the upcoming attacks.

The Hamas op at the building have been only a secondary site for Hamas until the bombing of the main tunnels in Gaza City.
Subsequent to that bombing a lot of the Hamas op comm traffic may have been transferred to the building in question. The IDF must have a lot of signal intel on this but may not want to reveal too much of it.

[IsraelTimes] Paleostinians report 500 injured in festivities, including by live fire; IDF says 3,000 participate in violent mostly peaceful riots that involve stone-throwing, Molotov cocktails
At least nine West Bank Paleostinians were killed by Israeli live fire during violent mostly peacefulfestivities with the Israel Defense Forces on Friday, the Paleostinian Authority health ministry said.
Paleostinians threw rocks, Molotov cocktails and shot fireworks at several locations across the West Bank, according to the IDF. Israeli soldiers responded with riot dispersal means and, in some cases, live fire.
According to the IDF, some 3,000 Paleostinians participated in the riots. The IDF said live fire had been used at some of the sites, including to target "main rioters."
Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas ...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase.... called on the United States to intervene to stop the escalation in the West Bank and Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... after the bloody day of West Bank festivities.
"The president calls on the US administration to immediately and swiftly intervene to stop this Israeli aggression so that things do not get out of control," Abbas’s office said in a statement.
Abbas called the shooting deaths "brutal and programmed killings carried out by the Israeli occupation forces."
According to the PA health ministry, one of the Paleostinian fatalities was shot during festivities in the town of Urif, near Nablus, and another in Yaabad, west of Jenin. Another two took place near the West Bank city of Salfit.
Local Paleostinian media reported that demonstrators in Urif torched a Paleostinian Authority cop shoppe during the riots.
A 20-year-old Paleostinian man was shot in Jericho, the health ministry said. Another Paleostinian man, Issa Barhum, was killed in festivities south of Nablus.
A Paleostinian man who was taken to a hospital in Yatta in the south Hebron hills with reported wounds from IDF fire also died of his wounds, the Paleostinian health ministry said.
According to the health ministry, some 500 Paleostinians were maimed in festivities across the West Bank since the beginning of Friday.
The festivities broke out as West Bank Paleostinians marched to protest Israeli policies in Jerusalem and the ongoing hostilities between Israel and Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,.
Hamas encouraged the rising violence, calling for Paleostinians to "set the ground ablaze under the feet of the occupation."
"O you free heroes of the West Bank, blessed are your arms. We salute your revolution," a spokesperson for Hamas’s armed wing said.
Another Paleostinian was shot and killed during what the Israel Defense Forces said was an attempted terror attack on Friday morning.
According to the army, assailant tried to attack Israeli troops at a base near the Ofra settlement. He first attempted to ram a soldier stationed at a military post with his vehicle, and then got out and tried to stab him, the IDF said.
Later in the day, troops shot two men in a car during an attempted ramming attack near the central West Bank town of Ya’abed, according to Hebrew media reports.
The two suspects were being treated by medics at the scene. There were no injuries to the Israeli soldiers.
Over a dozen West Bank Paleostinians have been killed by Israeli forces since hostilities with Hamas began on Monday, according to publicly available PA health ministry updates.
[IsraelTimes] Violence flares between Arab and Jewish communities across the country; protesters clash with police in northern towns, East Jerusalem
Also the mixed Arab-Jewish cities of Jaffa and Lod.
Israeli police and security forces continued to try to quell rioting across the country on Friday, with festivities between officers and Arab residents spreading to northern Israel over the course of the day and heavy fighting reported in East Jerusalem in the evening.
Late Friday night, Arab rioters in the mixed Arab-Jewish city Acre torched the Acre theater, which locals have described as a symbol of Arab-Jewish coexistence. "It’s incredibly painful to see this happen," Moni Yosef, one of the theater’s managers, told Ynet.

(AOL) WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration notified Congress this week that it will send millions of dollars in U.S. assistance to the Palestinians aimed at promoting peace with Israel even as violence between the two sides rages.
As the conflict intensifies despite U.S. calls for restraint, the administration notified Congress on Thursday that it will provide $10 million to Palestinian groups in the West Bank and Gaza to support exchange and reconciliation projects with Israelis.
Currently the exchanges are armed and deadly on both sides, with no Arab-Israeli or Palestinian interest in reconciliation in sight.
The recipients of the aid were not named.
The best we can hope for is that the entire $10 million finds its way into select senior PA private bank accounts abroad...
The State Department said Friday that the money is part of more than $100 million that the administration allocated to the Palestinians earlier this year, reversing a near total cutoff in support under former President Donald Trump.
So at least it isn’t in addition to previous payments, merely more of what was already promised.
#2
We shouldn't be giving money to either side. Billions in aid to Israel, a first world country? They don't need it. I sure wish the US Congress would show such unanimity when dealing with the American people - every time it's time to give money to Israel the vote is overwhelming.
#7
A great percentage of the billions sent to Israel (and Egypt) result from the demilitarization of the Sinai brought about by Kissinger. The Sinai accords brought about the rapprochement that saw Israel leave the Sinai and Egypt maintain the peace with Israel. Money well spent. In contrast, the money spent in support of the Palestinians, at least since 1967, has been money down a rat hole.

Three rockets were launched from Syria towards Israel on Friday evening amid a number of solidarity riots with the Palestinians amid ongoing escalations between Israel and Hamas, as well as the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
One of the rockets failed to launch, falling on the Syrian side of the border. The other two rockets fell in an open space, leading to only open air sirens to be sounded. No injuries were recorded.
The Palestinian Tahir Brigade stationed in Syria claimed responsibility for the rockets shortly after firing them.
The incident took place as violence continued to escalate during solidarity riots held on Israel's border with Lebanon, Jordan, in Arab Israeli towns and in the West Bank.
Multiple protestors approached the Lebanese border near the Israeli town of Metulla twice on Friday, once in the early afternoon, and again in the evening.
In the beginning, three suspects cut an entry point in the border fence and crossed into Israel. They were then joined by an additional four suspects, and started a fire in Israeli territory. A fire also broke out on Lebanese territory.
During the incident, one of the suspects, identified as Muhammed Tahan, was shot in the leg by IDF troops before returning to Lebanon with the rest of the suspects and later died of his wounds.
1 Killed, 1 Hurt as Israel Fires at Protesters on Lebanese Border
[AnNahar] A Lebanese protester was killed and another was wounded Friday afternoon when two Israeli shells landed near them as they were trying to cross the Lebanese border into the Israeli settlement of Metulla, Lebanon’s National News Agency said.
“The Israeli army went on alert, trying to prevent them from advancing towards the fence, which prompted the enemy to fire two shells towards the young men,” NNA added.
“A large force from the Lebanese Army and security forces immediately arrived at the site and prevented the young men from advancing, erecting checkpoints to stop any citizen from advancing towards the barbed wire,” the agency said.
The Israeli army meanwhile said that its tanks fired warning shots toward “a number of rioters who crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory.”
“The suspects sabotaged the fence and set a fire in the area before returning to Lebanese territory,” it added.
Media reports identified the slain young man as the 21-year-old Mohammed Tahan, who hailed from the southern coastal town of Adloun.
On social media, other Lebanese and Palestinian activists said that they were heading to the border area to take part in new protests.
Al-Jadeed TV said a strong blast was heard at 3:30 am in the Syrian town of al-Jantaliyeh in Qusayr’s countryside after Israeli aircraft bombed a pickup truck.
Residents from the area said the powerful blast echoed across the towns adjacent to Hermel.
Quoting Israeli media reports, Sky News Arabia reported that an Israeli strike targeted “vehicles carrying ammunition” on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
LBCI TV and Radio Voice of All Lebanon (93.3) meanwhile reported that the strike targeted “a vehicle used in smuggling,” causing only material damage.
The development came hours after three rockets were fired from south Lebanon toward northern Israel amid an escalating conflict between Israel and the Gaza-based Palestinian factions.
The Israeli army said those rockets landed into the sea.
