[The Blaze] Speaking on CNN Friday, the Minnesota Democrat lamented that Trump and Republicans were willing to give Americans more aid than Democrats are now.
"I see it as a really disappointing development. We obviously are now ultimately sending money to less people than the Trump administration and the Senate majority Republicans," Omar admitted.
"This is not the promise that we made, this is not what we are given the opportunity to be in the majority in the Senate and to have the White House," Omar continued. "And so ultimately it is a failure when we compromise ourselves out of delivering on behalf of the American people and keeping our promises." Somebody kept some promises in $1.9 billion.
Omar went on to explain the income thresholds in the forthcoming Biden-led stimulus bill mean that fewer Americans will receive direct aid.
"The last checks that we were able to send had given 17 million more people than what we will ultimately do with the caps now, and that is going to be something that we're going to have to explain," Omar explained.
"I don't know if many of us have a logical explanation on why we are delivering less than what the Republicans were willing to compromise us on delivering on the American people," she added.

Socialists vs Corrupt powermongers, thinking GOP is gone forever (again) fight for control over the Democrat party.
[TOWNHALL] President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass.... on Sunday signed an executive order aimed at expanding voting rights. It's the Biden administration's latest move to expand voting rights as they push the Senate to pass H.R. 1, the House Democrats' bill to radically transform America's election system, including prohibiting voter ID laws and mandating taxpayers fund political campaigns.
"It is the policy of my Administration to promote and defend the right to vote for all Americans who are legally entitled to participate in elections," the executive order stated. "It is the responsibility of the Federal Government to expand access to, and education about, voter registration and election information, and to combat misinformation, in order to enable all eligible Americans to participate in our democracy."
Agency heads will be required to post "relevant information" — like how to vote-by-mail and vote in an upcoming election — on websites and social media platforms. Those who visit vote.gov will be directed to the appropriate state website that provides greater details on how to vote in that individual state.
Election officials are encouraged to distribute voter registration and voting-by-mail applications and help voters fill out those applications if need be. The executive order also instructs election officials to "solicit and facilitiat[e] approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations and State officials to provide voter registration services on agency premises."

Consolidating his position after a fraudulent election.
[NYPOST] Two more women came forward Saturday to accuse Gov. Cuomo of sexually harassing behavior, including a former press aide who describes struggling to free herself from his repeated hugs, and a young assistant who now says he left her feeling like "just a skirt."
Former press aide Karen Hinton endured a "very long, too long, too tight, too intimate" embrace from Cuomo in a dimly lit Los Angeles hotel room in December 2000, she told the Washington Post.
The married Hinton pulled away, but "he pulls me back for another intimate embrace," she told the paper. "I thought at that moment it could lead to a kiss, it could lead to other things, so I just pull away again, and I leave."
At the time, Cuomo led the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
A current rep for Cuomo strongly denied No, no! Certainly not! Hinton’s allegation to the newspaper, claiming "this did not happen."

What is so dispiriting is how universally accepted the "deflective purpose" has become. I can hardly look at a squirrel in the wood line without a mental image of political deception.
