[daily advertiser] A domestic abuse victim shot a Crowley man in self-defense after months of abuse said Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson.
Deputies were called on Feb. 19 to a shooting involving a domestic matter at a home in the 2400 block of South Avenue F, which is south of Crowley.
Brandon Hebert had been shot and was taken to a local hospital. Investigators identified a "long pattern of domestic abuse" through physical evidence and witness statements where Hebert was the aggressor, Gibson said. The abuse had been going on for about six months.
The shooting was thought to have been in self-defense, Gibson said.
After his release from the hospital, 32-year-old Hebert was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic abuse, one count of sexual battery, one count of aggravated domestic abuse, one count of second-degree domestic abuse battery, 16 counts of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment and one count of attempted second-degree murder.
He is being held without bond. While a mob is being assembled
[The Jewish Voice] In a recently uncovered shocking video which has circulated online for several weeks, an Anti-Chinese Communist Party dissident reported on September 24h about 3 hard drives which the CCP turned over to the department of justice and Nancy Pelosi
The video is part of a Chinese whistleblower network, and the show is called Lude’s Broadcast, many editions of these reports exist.
In the September 24th edition, the reporter claims: that 3 members of the CCP turned 3 different hard drives over to American officials.
According to the video, Jiang Zemin, Zeng Qinghong and Meng Jianzhu made the move — provided 3 hard drives to the DOJ of America, and another copy to Nancy Pelosi.
He also claims President Trump also obtained a copy of these hard drives.
The 1st hard drive: sex tapes & pedophilia tapes of Hunter Biden, as well as his 4.5 billion dollars secret deal with Xi & Wang.
The 2nd hard drive: the allocation of Xi & Wang’s overseas wealth, and ’the architecture & art project’, which is the information of their illegitimate children;
The 3rd hard drive: CCP’s bioweapon.
The reporter believes that there is some kind of internal friction within the Chinese Communist Party which led to the hard drives being handed over.
The video mainly talks about the 1st hard drive turned over to the US by CCP officials.
He goes into detail about a deal Hunter Biden made of around $4.5 Billion. This collaborates with a story from The Washington Times, which reported that Hunter Biden was receiving a $10 million annual fee from a Chinese billionaire who has been accused of corruption and with whom he sought to increase the cash flow with joint business ownership, an August 2017 email from Mr. Biden shows.
This is actually mentioned in the Lude’s Broadcast, before the Washington Times article.

Highly likely. Think about all the entry points for CCP hackers:
This maniac was livestreaming his own pr0n channel. He uploaded personal files including, compromising vids and pics of himself smoking crack with hookers, on his work laptop.
He left that laptop at a repair shop and ignored it for months, then didn't even bother to claim it when asked to do so.
The idiot takes multi-million dollar wire transfers to his personal accounts from criminals and bandits in Russia, Kazakhstan and elsewhere. His finances are a mess. His CCP business partner is now in federal prison on money laundering and bribery charges.
And he kicks back money to his dad.
If the CCP did not compromise this moron, they're totally incompetent.

Absolutely preposterous. I'm writing a 'Help Hunter' letter to Senators McConnell and Feinstein, Rep. Eric Swalwell, Henry Kissinger, the CEO's of Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, and Loews.

"He also claims President Trump also obtained a copy of these hard drives."
I seriously doubt that or the Democrats would have gone after him for possessing pedophile photos.
[NYP] Heartbreaking video obtained by The Post has solved the mystery of what happened to a woman found crushed to death Friday on a Brooklyn street — she was struck by a backhoe whose driver apparently never even saw her.
The video shows the yellow construction vehicle striking 61-year-old Estelle Davis with its shovel before running her over and dragging her along the corner of New Lots and Van Sinderen Avenues in East New York.
Neither the driver nor a worker nearby appears to notice as Davis falls and then disappears under the vehicle.
The backhoe then lurches forward, leaving the woman motionless on the street, video shows.

Look at her hands. Maybe it is just me, but it sure looks like she was talking and tapping away on her phone. Article makes no mention of that possibility.

Sorry, Clem, but if you are operating equipment, YOU are responsible for the safe operation, especially backing up in a public street. Her stupidity will get her family some $$, mitigated by her unsafe travel

[PAGESIX] "Entourage" star Kevin Connolly threw a tantrum after his expensive car was towed from a flower shop. The store manager has now banned him from the premises, TMZ reported.
Connolly allegedly parked his car in the Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design lot in Los Angeles, the manager told TMZ. The florists say there’s a podcast studio near the store and that Connolly uses their parking spaces for his Tesla apparently when he records podcasts.
The manager told TMZ they warned Connolly multiple times about not using their parking lot, leaving notes on his car. But on Tuesday, after Connolly’s car remained parked for more than an hour, the store called a tow truck.
Connolly entered the flower shop not long after in a scene recorded on security cameras. He appeared to yell at the staff and then stormed out, kicking a couple of items near the door as left the store. "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM??"

The same old story - our betters are exempt from the rules that apply to everyone else.
[PAGESIX] Hell, they coulda interviewed me for six million and saved a few bucks. Only the craziest get the biggest megaphone.
It’s claimed the money all went to Oprah, with the Mountbatten-Windsors taking none of it. What Oprah subsequently chooses to gift her dear friends is, of course, utterly beside the point.

I know some blacks who follow this Harry/Meghan charade because she is "half black". And, biologically, I guess that is correct.
If I had seen her for the first time today, I'd never in a million years come to that conclusion. But, in any case, like a former president, et al., they are half white. How bout those apples!

[NYPOST] A brave FDNY paramedic, savagely attacked by a crazed teenager who took a bite out of her face, said the bizarre encounter will not derail her career."I have a very deep passion for what I do," Jenna Piscitello told The Post. "This incident isn’t going to ever stop from me continuing to be as compassionate as I am with people."
But Piscitello, who’s been with the FDNY for seven years, admitted the bloody experience was "a little traumatizing."
The attack happened early Friday in Brooklyn as Piscitello and her crew responded to a call for a patient with "altered mental status."
Piscitello, 28, who started as an EMT and became a paramedic in 2019, said a 17-year-old girl was trying to run out of the house, and kept falling. But, she said, the teen was not threatening until first responders tried to get her onto a stretcher.
"She just wrapped her legs around my torso, her arms around my neck and just took a nice big chomp out of my face," Piscitello recounted. "She was like on me for almost a minute. It felt like an eternity."
She felt the teen "tugging at my face," Piscitello said.
"The pain was like insane," she said. "I literally felt her teeth going into my flesh. Like a saw just cutting into me."
Piscitello didn’t realize how badly injured she was, and even continued to take care of the girl.
Then her partner looked at her said, "We’re getting another ambulance for you."
The EMT received four stitches at the hospital and is scheduled to see a plastic surgeon Monday, she said.
The teen was charged with assault in the second degree and assault with intent to cause physical injury, police and sources told The Post.
Piscitello, who lives on Staten Island, said there was swelling around her eye Saturday and that she was still in pain. She has been buoyed by the support of friends and family.
Two of her FDNY colleagues started a GoFundMe campaign to help her.

I'm sure Biden will bail them out
[Bloomberg via MSN] Venezuela said it will introduce new large-denomination bolivar notes as hyperinflation renders most bills worthless, forcing citizens to turn to the U.S. dollar for everyday transactions.
The country’s central bank posted a statement on its website Friday saying it would begin circulating the new 200,000, 500,000 and 1,000,000 bills to "fulfill the current economy’s requirements" without providing further details. The 1,000,000 note -- the largest in the nation’s history -- is worth only $0.53 cents.
As Venezuela’s economy shrank for a seventh straight year in 2020, the government turned a blind eye to a growing number of dollar transactions, kick-started by rolling power outages that prevented credit and debit card purchases and fostered the use of cash. About 66% of transactions across the country are estimated to be made in foreign currency, according to Ecoanalitica.
While the dollar has gained ground, Venezuelans continue to rely on bolivar bills for public transportation and to purchase subsidized fuel. The Caracas subway recently issued an electronic payment system after it routinely stopped charging passengers due to cash shortages.
President Nicolas Maduro has said he plans to move to a fully digital economy this year, following three years of hyperinflation that have prompted the nation’s mint to issue higher-denomination notes that are quickly rendered all but useless. Inflation soared 3,000% in the last 12 months, according to Bloomberg News’s Cafe con Leche Index.
In October, Venezuela imported banknote paper with plans to issue a 100,000 bill that quickly became outdated. It last issued new bills in 2019, after chopping five zeros of the previous bills in circulation in 2018.

Just think from Capitalism as the 4th Wealthiest Nation on Earth with the VES Bolivar (currency) trading at $0.42 to a US$ in 2010, just 11 years ago.
To 1 Million VES Bolivar bills trading at $0.53 against the US$ and now the 134th of the 148 nation on Earth.
YEP! Socialism sure worked for Venezuela.
But it seems the Upper Elite class is doing just fine.
Just like it always does in Communism, Socialism and Dictatorships.

In reality these are 100,000,000,000 notes since Maduro removed 5 zeros from their previous bills. Won't be long before the Bolivar exceeds the Zimbabwe $100 trillion note. Then it will be worth something, as a collector's item.
[IsraelTimes] White House says spree is an ’active threat’; hackers exploit flaws in Microsoft Exchange, stealing email and infecting servers to let them take control remotely.
At least 30,000 US organizations including local governments have been hacked in recent days by an "unusually aggressive" Chinese cyber-espionage campaign, according to a computer security specialist.
The campaign has exploited recently discovered flaws in Microsoft Exchange software, stealing email and infecting computer servers with tools that let attackers take control remotely, Brian Krebs said in a post at his cyber security news website.
"This is an active threat," White House spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki said when asked about the situation during a press briefing.
"Everyone running these servers needs to act now to patch them. We are concerned that there are a large number of victims," she added.
After Microsoft released patches for the vulnerabilities on Tuesday, attacks "dramatically stepped up" on servers not yet updated with security fixes, said Krebs, who cited unnamed sources familiar with the situation.
"At least 30,000 organizations across the United States — including a significant number of small businesses, towns, cities and local governments — have over the past few days been hacked by an unusually aggressive Chinese cyber espionage unit that’s focused on stealing email from victim organizations," Krebs wrote in the post.
He reported that insiders said hackers have "seized control" of thousands of computer systems around the world using password-protected software tools slipped into systems.
Microsoft said early this week that a state-sponsored hacking group operating out of China is exploiting previously unknown security flaws in its Exchange email services to steal data from business users.
The company said the hacking group, which it has named "Hafnium," is a "highly skilled and sophisticated actor."
Hafnium has in the past targeted US-based companies including infectious disease researchers, law firms, universities, defense contractors, think tanks, and NGOs.
In a blog post on Tuesday, Microsoft executive Tom Burt said the company had released updates to fix the security flaws, which apply to on-premises versions of the software rather than cloud-based versions, and urged customers to apply them.
"We know that many nation-state actors and criminal groups will move quickly to take advantage of any unpatched systems," he added at the time.
Microsoft said the group was based in China but operated through leased virtual private servers in the United States, and that it had briefed the US government.
Beijing has previously hit back at US accusations of state-sponsored cyber theft. Last year it accused Washington of smears following allegations that Chinese hackers were attempting to steal coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... research.
In January, US intelligence and law enforcement agencies said Russia was probably behind the massive SolarWinds hack that shook the government and corporate security, contradicting then-president Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... , who had suggested China could be to blame.
Microsoft said Tuesday the Hafnium attacks "were in no way connected to the separate SolarWinds-related attacks."

[BenarNews] The U.S. military has advised Congress that it needs new precision-strike, air missile defense, and other capabilities to counter China in the Indo-Pacific, a sign of deepening military competition between the two rival nations.
In an assessment submitted earlier this week, the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command outlined a range of requirements for strengthening conventional deterrence in the region, according to reviews of the document by USNI News and Nikkei Asia and remarks Thursday by Adm. Philip Davidson, who leads the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.
The assessment calls for "the fielding of an Integrated Joint Force with precision-strike networks" along the so-called first island chain — referring to missile strike capabilities — and integrated air missile defense in the second island chain, USNI News reported. The document also calls for "a distributed force posture that provides the ability to preserve stability, and if needed, dispense and sustain combat operations for extended periods."

[NYPOST] Toy giant Mattel plans to scrub the U.K. versions of Scrabble of hundreds of "offensive" words — leaving game-loving Brits clutching their "boobies" for fear of losing their "arses."Other prized words, such as "goolies," "wrinklies," "boffing," "farting" and "fatso," may also wind up on the wrong side of the official Scrabble lexicon, British aficionados of the little square tiles now worry.
"The woke brigade is ruining our game," two-time British Scrabble champ Craig Beevers griped to The Scottish Sun.
"I feel this will be the final nail in the coffin for a lot of competitive players," Beevers added.
Mattel, which owns the rights to Scrabble outside the U.S., isn’t tipping its rack of letters just yet — but The Sun claims the game maker’s in-progress list of forbidden words will run to 400, and reportedly be a worldwide push.
"In Scrabble — as in life — the words we choose matter," a Mattel exec told the outlet.
Brett Smitheram, a rep for the Association of British Scrabble Players, told The Post Saturday that words are indeed "being compiled for deletion" by Mattel.
That only matters for official competition. Perhaps it is time to allow the Oxford English Dictionary, unabridged version, to become the official reference for serious players on the far side of the pond. Over here we can perhaps go with the unabridged Webster’s.
