[NYPost] Members of a California school board resigned en masse after they were caught mocking parents during a public video meeting about re-opening schools shuttered during the pandemic.
All four members, including president Lisa Brizendine of the Oakley Elementary School District board, resigned Friday, according to a Fox News report.
The board members were caught on video complaining about parents who wanted teachers to return to their classrooms. Brizendine appeared to mock parents who “want their babysitters back” during the Wednesday meeting which trustees thought was private.

Teachers unions are the most powerful entity in this country. It's like Mexico, where the teachers are the most powerful, the most left-wing and the most corrupt of all the public employee groups.
Complete domination of the Democrat Party. No organized opposition at all ... private schools are tiny in number. Catholic schools try to avoid scrutiny. Homeschoolers have no organization whatsoever.
[Fox News] Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham also hosted in-person staff meetings at the same time she was urging limits on gatherings because of the coronavirus, a report says
New Mexico’s Democrat governor is on the defensive after a report this week detailed her office’s spending from a taxpayer-supported expense fund.
Records show Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham spent nearly $13,500 over a six-month period in 2020 on items such as groceries, dry cleaning and alcohol, the Sante Fe New Mexican reported.
The booze spending included a purchase in September of more than $200 for five bottles of tequila, two bottles of vodka, two bottles of Merlot and single bottles of whiskey and gin, the report said.
In the same report, the newspaper disclosed that Grisham was hosting in-person staff meetings at the governor’s mansion at the same time that she was urging the public against mixing households in order to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. Newsom-Lite
About half the $13,500 went toward food for the governor’s Cabinet members and staffers during those meetings, Grisham spokesman Tripp Stelnicki told The Associated Press.
State Republicans were outraged by the governor’s use of taxpayer cash. "I didn’t realize the governor was so underpaid that she has to use discretionary money for things that she should be paying for herself," state House Minority Whip Rod Montoya, a Republican, told the New Mexican. "Legislators are all up here doing our job, and we’re doing it on per diem."

New Mexico usually ranks among the last three states in income. It has to be 'light'. As a former DA said when dealing with corruption in the state government, its just as bad as anywhere else only the pols here are a lot cheaper.
[The Blaze] The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's new senior advisor for strategic outreach reportedly had some scathing things to say about the party's leadership before he was given the position. However, Dyjuan Tatro deleted the disparaging tweets about President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris after was tapped to be the senior adviser for diversity and inclusion for the DCCC, according to a report from the New York Post.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee hired Tatro last week, and shortly after, Tatro's checkered past surfaced, including being arrested for violent crimes.
A Times Union article from 2011 states that then-25-year-old DyJuan "Dy" Tatro was the "triggerman for the notorious Original Gangsta Killas street gang has been sent to federal prison for more than six years." The report said Tatro was "already serving time for shooting two rival gang members in 2006."
Tatro purportedly boasted that he had made at least $12,000 a month dealing drugs and conspired to traffic more than 50 grams of crack cocaine.
While serving his time in prison for racketeering conspiracy, Tatro earned his bachelor's degree, which enabled him to make an appearance on the 2019 PBS documentary series "College Behind Bars." He was released from prison in 2017, and has since become an advocate of criminal justice reform and social justice.

His future in the Democratic party is virtually unlimited.
[Right Scoop] That’s not how THEY explain it, but that’s what it is. That’s how it will operate. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together and a working memory of longer than four weeks has heard this song plenty of times.
Breitbart points out that, as Reuters first reported and other outlets are trying not to draw attention to, the Biden administration "is working with Facebook, Google, and Twitter to target ’COVID misinformation’ and overcome ’vaccine hesitancy'" apparently.
From Reuters:
The White House’s direct engagement with the companies to mitigate the challenge has not been previously reported. Biden’s chief of staff Ron Klain has previously said the administration will try to work with Silicon Valley on the issue.
"Disinformation that causes vaccine hesitancy is going to be a huge obstacle to getting everyone vaccinated and there are no larger players in that than the social media platforms," said the source, who has direct knowledge of the White House’s efforts.
"We are talking to them ... so they understand the importance of misinformation and disinformation and how they can get rid of it quickly."
The Biden White House is especially trying to make sure such material "does not start trending on such platforms and become a broader movement," the source said.
Breitbart adds:
A spokesperson from Facebook confirmed that the company proactively reached out to the Biden White House to offer "any assistance we can provide." A Twitter spokesperson said that the company is "in regular communication with the White House on a number of critical issues including COVID-19 misinformation."
Y’all can expect them to just stick to disinformation based purely on facts and keep it specific to this one topic area, and not grow it into some cooperative effort between a partisan Democrat administration and a partisan Democrat tech industry to monitor and censor all speech. It’s not like they’d try to purge anyone. Of course.
[American Digest] The campaign is over and President Joe Biden is already busy ruining the country. So why does he need more help pushing his policies?
An organization calling itself "Building Back Together" is bundling dark money donations to sell the American people on Biden’s radical agenda, the Washington Examiner reported. The organization will enjoy freedoms as a registered 501(c)(4) that political candidates’ organizations simply don’t have.
The "Building Back Together" organization will get down to business drumming up support for Biden’s coronavirus package that comes with a hefty $1.9 trillion price tag. Included in it are additional relief payments of $1,400 and the job-killing minimum wage increase to $15 per hour.
Although these types of organizations are prohibited from supporting a candidate, they are able to conduct media campaigns based on issues. Rather than face the restrictions of campaign finance rules that require strict tracking and reporting of money collected and spent, their activity is less scrutinized provided they stay away from endorsing political candidates directly.
For instance, there is no limit to how much they’re allowed to spend. There is also currently no requirement to release the names and addresses of big donors, making 501(c)(4)s both more powerful and less accountable.
This is problematic, according to Jeff Hauser of the Revolving Door Project, which is dedicated to keeping corporate money out of the executive government appointee process. "Big picture, dark money erodes trust in politics because even if the contribution is unknown to the public, key political figures can be aware of who is supporting their agendas and aspirations," Hauser said.
The White House did not respond to the Examiner for comment. However, this practice is not new and something that previous administrations utilized similarly. Former President Barack Obama was challenged on his promises to get big money out of political campaigns while he used a 501(c)(4)s to hide those large donors that would otherwise need to be disclosed.
The problem with money in politics is not new, and the use of these particular types of groups is just another loophole to exploit. The main concern should be that Biden’s policies will be foisted on the American people — whether they want it or not.
[National File] The U.S. House of Representatives is set to consider whether Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, the Republican winner in Iowa’s second district, won by fraud. She won by a mere six votes, upsetting Democrat favorite Rita Hart.
Despite months of the House of Representatives haranguing supporters of President Donald Trump, who have gathered credible evidence that indicates widespread voter fraud occurred during the 2020 election, the U.S. House is now set to potentially overturn the results of what former Attorney General Bill Barr called the safest election in American history to allow a losing Democrat to take a Republican’s seat.
“The House Administration Committee gathered virtually Friday afternoon to finalize the process by which it will adjudicate Hart’s claim, which was filed under the Federal Contested Elections Act,” Politico reported. “The committee has been largely silent since Hart first made her contest in December, but the hearing suggests that it is preparing to review the matter further.”

They've done it before.
You still play along cause they engage in rituals that make you not want to accept the reality that its all over and you have only two choices, fight or get in the boxcars quietly.
[PJ Media] You’ve probably never heard of Chicago’s U.S. attorney John Lausch. For the last two years, he has been going after some of the biggest, most powerful Democrats in the state of Illinois.
His office indicted a Chicago alderman who had been serving since 1969. Edward Burke had been in the crosshairs of prosecutors for four decades but it wasn’t until Lausch came into office that he was indicted.
Then there’s the case of the most powerful state politician in the United States, Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan. His aides and cronies have been indicted for various crimes of influence over the years and Lausch has now set his sights on Madigan himself.
In fact, it’s believed Lausch has targeted some other high-profile Democratic politicians in other investigations. It’s a target-rich environment and Democrats in Illinois have gotten extremely nervous about who Lausch will go after next.
Now it appears, that bringing down corrupt Democratic politicians will be the job of the next U.S. attorney. Along with 56 other U.S. attorneys named by former president Trump, Lausch will lose his job — fired by Joe Biden. "It’s tradition," said Biden supporters. This is true. But it’s also "tradition" to keep prosecutors in place who were pursuing high-profile cases. Lausch certainly qualified under that criteria.

Obama, shortly after taking office, canned the AG in New Mexico investigating play-for-pay of former governor Bill Richardson. Shrugs shoulders. It's a what a scorpion Donk is going to do, it's in their nature.

John Lausch has been doing a yeoman's job in his efforts that are almost 100% thwarted by various entities.
Of course now Madigan is 'retiring' for various reasons (mostly ignoring multiple sexual harassment charges, although that's the least of his offenses in my book) and possible ROI from Lausch's camp.

[PJ] Twitter is abuzz with rage this afternoon at reports that President Joe Biden has restarted funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology — the lab in China that still may be a suspect in the origin of the global COVID pandemic.
Upon a closer inspection of the reporting by the Daily Caller, it appears this was a process decision, not a political one. Additionally, only one grant to the Wuhan lab has been halted.
The Wuhan Institute of Virology is authorized to receive taxpayer funding for animal research until January 2024, the National Institute of Health told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The WIV is at the center of widespread speculation that COVID-19 could have entered the human population in China due to an accidental lab leak. Researchers at the lab were studying bat-based coronaviruses prior to the outbreak, a project partially backed by $600,000 in U.S. taxpayer funds routed to the lab through the nonprofit group EcoHealth Alliance.
EcoHealth Alliance’s work researching bat-based coronaviruses in China was funded by a $3.7 million grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in 2014, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The grant was terminated by the National Institutes of Health in April amid criticism over EcoHealth Alliance’s relationship with the WIV. The NIH said in a letter the nonprofit’s work in China did not align with “program goals and agency priorities.”
The NIH further explained to the Daily Caller that while the EcoHealth Alliance “sub-grant was suspended,” the broader NIH grant to the Wuhan Institute of Virology is still funded.

Prior to the US Presidential election the Chinese had mounted massive Wuhan cover stories and disinformation efforts in support of deflecting blame and responsibility for the Chinese pandemic. Since the Biden inauguration, those efforts appear to have been significantly scaled back or discontinued. Concurrently, there appears to be absolutely no interest in origins discovery by the White Houae.
