[ALMASDARNEWS] On Saturday, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched a surprise offensive in the Hadrut area of southern Karabakh, prompting an intense confrontation with the Armenian-led Artsakh Defense Army.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, the Artsakh Defense Army confronted the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Hin Tagher and Khtasberd after the former tried to advance their positions in these areas.
However, a woman is only as old as she admits... the Azerbaijani military’s attack was reportedly unsuccessful on Saturday, as the Artsakh Defense Army was able to hold their ground in the Hin Tagher and Khtasberd areas, despite suffering three casualties.
Following the attack by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the Russian peacekeeping map was updated to show the areas now inside the Armenian enclave of Karabakh, which is a setback for Baku, as it gives the Artsakh Defense Army more ground inside the region.
The Azerbaijani media later contrasted the Armenian Ministry of Defense’s statement on Saturday, claiming that the Artsakh Defense Army was the aggressor, as the latter allegedly tried to advance their positions in the area.
Saturday’s festivities marked the first time since the Moscow Agreement on November 9th that the two parties to the conflict in Karabakh have been involved in a fierce firefight in this region.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan accused Turkish special forces units of participating in an attack by the Azerbaijani forces, Saturday, on Armenian positions in southern Karabakh.
“Our sites near the villages of Khtsaberd and Hin Tagher were attacked by the Azerbaijani units. There is information indicating that factions of the Turkish special forces participated in the attack,” Pashinyan said during an emergency meeting to the National Security Council.
According to Pashinyan, the attack took place while the Russian peacekeepers had not yet deployed in the mentioned area. He also indicated that the clash left six wounded from the Armenian side.
For its part, Baku announced that the Azerbaijani State Security Service is engaged in a “anti-terror operation” in the Khojawand district (var. Hadrut) of the Karabakh province, against “Armenian armed formations” that are still operating in a forested area around the town of Hadrut.
On Saturday, Azerbaijan and Armenia accused one another of launching an attack in the Hadrut area, resulting in three wounded on the Armenian side.
According to a joint statement of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense and State Security: “After the ceasefire was announced, the Armenian media announced, citing official circles in their country, that their armed forces were missing in the forest area. The Armenian side appealed to the leadership of the Russian peacekeepers to find them and evacuate them. ”
The statement said, “The Azerbaijani side provided all the conditions for the evacuation of the Armenian armed forces , and in difficult weather conditions, Russian peacekeepers arrived in this area, and with the help of loudspeakers, they appealed to the Armenian armed groups in the region to take the necessary measures to evacuate them, who were presented as ‘lost’ and ‘missing’, noting that the military personnel of the Russian peacekeepers acted with great responsibility and professionalism to maintain the ceasefire and evacuate the Armenian militants.
“It is clear that armed groups have not left the region, and are attacking Azerbaijani military and civilians,” the statement continued.
They added, “On November 26, 2020, 3 Azerbaijani soldiers were killed in an attack on the lands of Sur village in the Khojavind region, and two were wounded. On December 8, a soldier was killed near Hadrut village … Given the above, The Azerbaijani state security apparatus was forced to conduct an anti-terrorist operation in this region. ”
It is noteworthy to mention that Armenia announced on Saturday that the Azerbaijani army resumed its offensive near two villages in Karabakh, and in turn, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense said that the ceasefire in the region is respected.

...the African-American Marine veteran who was a BLM supporter as a matter of principle until he actually went to a BLM protest, which rather forcefully changed his mind. He sells a clothing line to raise funds for the Portland Police Chaplaincy. and now clearly is taking his advocacy to a new level...
co-founder and director of the Coalition to Save Portland, made another trip today to Portland’s Red House Autonomous Zone to try to continue the discussions he’s had in liaisons with the occupying group. He brought two guests from his attorney’s office with him to show them what’s going on at the site of the Red House. People inside the zone refused to speak with him. Johnson says the tensions inside the zone have increased "one hundred fold." He says he and his guests were quickly surrounded by what he described as armed militia members with loaded Glocks and billy clubs. The security force told him, "We could have 3,000 motherf***ers down here in a minute if they needed to."
In an exclusive interview with PJ Media, Johnson said, "We had no problems going in. They’ve had kids there, families, no issues. It wasn’t until the three of us were walking back through, just so they could kind of see what’s going on, all of a sudden some guys were yelling, why are we here? ’You need to get the f*** out of here,’ saying, ’Hey, I know who this guy is. He’s been here the last couple days.’ Quickly, we were surrounded by 12 to 16 armed militia. Armed militia is what I’m going to call them. That’s exactly what they are when you have loaded Glocks, and loaded meaning that there’s magazines in the wells."
Johnson said several of the armed security also had billy clubs or other blunt instruments, and it reminded him of being overseas in war zones when he was in the Marines. "That’s when we’re way beyond protest," he said. "This is an armed Insurrection that is on our street, intimidating anyone who doesn’t believe in their views. That is wrong. Nowhere should anyone be threatened with weapons and billy clubs in the f***ing United States."
Over the past two days, Johnson has visited Portland’s latest peaceful protest to see what’s going on and how it can be resolved peacefully. The tensions have increased beyond what he saw the past few days, leading him to believe peaceful resolution may no longer be possible.
He’s angry. "I definitely feared for my life at that point," Johnson said. "I’ve never felt this way in the United States. I’ve never been this upset ever in the last couple of years. This is a situation that really needs to be addressed. You can’t have people threatening civilians with arms on our streets and we need to call for help and end of this now. We have armed militia on the streets of Portland holding a neighborhood f***ing hostage."
It’s time to bring in the National Guard, he says. The streets of Portland have been overrun, and with the caches of weapons protesters have stockpiled, it appears the Portland Police will have difficulty clearing out this occupation without violence breaking out.

No need for tanks — just call out the snowplow brigade.

Whichever side of the fence one is on politically, mobs are out of control dangerous.
That said, feeling a bit of schadenfreude this morning about this Antifa beatdown. These jerks have operated too long in blue areas with impunity. They are terrorists. The left has given them a pass.
But then other might argue given the constant physical abuses ANTI-FArt/BLOM has directed against Police and 1st responders, why should the Police rush to their aid?
Heck it could have been ANTI-FArt/BLOM setting up a Entrapment scenario to get take 2 to 4 police hostage that respond by encircling them and beating the Hell out of their Hostages/Captives.
But IF I was a COP.
While I might not run to the aid of an Felony level Attacker getting a much earned beat down...
I would eventually get there in due time before they killed the Socialist Ba$terd... Because he still has 20 to Life to serve for the Stabbings.

"One-third of Iraqi army and Federal Police brigades collapsed in June 2014, but the Counter-Terrorism Service lasted and spearheaded the counter-attack at Tikrit, Beyji, Ramadi, and eventually Mosul. The U.S.-trained Counter-Terrorism Service kept fighting because of the essential correctness of the force’s basic conception, recruitment, leadership, and training. What factors made the service so robust when the rest of Iraq’s security forces proved so brittle?
Size is a definite factor. The Counter-Terrorism Service stayed small, never exceeding around 12,500 personnel."

[ALMASDARNEWS] On Sunday, the Iraqi army confirmed the killing of 42 forces of Evil from the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) terrorist organization, in a military operation called "The Sweeping Torrent" south of the city of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... , with the support of the International Coalition Air Force.
In a statement posted on his Twitter account, the Iraqi Armed Forces front man, Yahya Rasoul , revealed : "The Sweeping Torrent operation began, when the heroic Counter-Terrorism Service forces raided the so-called Tigris Sector, in which ISIS terrorist gangs are active in the Ain al-Jahsh area, south of Mosul."
The statement said that the Iraqi Armed Forces killed 42 terrorists, including the ISIS governor of the Tigris region and his media official, who was identified by his nom de guerre "Abu Sayyaf ...also known as al-Harakat al-Islamiyya, an Islamist terror group based in Jolo, Basilan and Zamboanga. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the group has carried out bombings, kidnappings, murders, head choppings, and extortion in their uniquely Islamic attempt to set up an independent Moslem province in the Philippines. Abu Sayyaf forces probably number less than 300 cadres. The group is closely allied with remnants of Indonesia's Jemaah Islamiya and has loose ties with MILF and MNLF who sometimes provide cannon fodder... The operation also seized a large amount of weapons and money that were present in the bases of the Islamic State terrorist group.
He explained that the operation came "with air support from the aviation of the Iraqi army and the international coalition aircraft."
The Iraqi security forces continue to search, cleanse, and pursue ISIS remnants throughout the country, to ensure that the organization and its fleeing elements do not reappear.
In December 2017, Iraq announced the liberation of all its lands from the grip of the ISIS group after nearly three and a half years of confrontations with the terrorist organization, which occupied about a third of the country.

Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... In a brief statement posted on Twitter, the Israeli army said: "The army forces detected four suspects who approached the border fence earlier today."
They added, " The army forces that rushed to the scene began to implement an arrest warrant for suspects, during which they opened fire in the air, and after that, the suspects moved away from the scene."
Lebanon did not officially comment on the incident until 15:00 GMT, but a Lebanese security source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) correspondent that "the Israeli occupation army fired today from one of its military sites in Tal al-Abbad towards a number of civilians in the two towns of Mays al-Jabal and around the two border areas. No one was hurt. "
The source added, "During the presence of a group of civilians in the area collecting scrap and firewood near one of the UNIFIL centers (peacekeepers in southern Lebanon), the Israeli army present in Tal al-Abbad opened fire to intimidate them and move a tank that was stationed in the area and immediately a patrol of the Lebanese army came and conducted an investigation with the peacekeeping group. The report stated that the Ahwazi leader was transferred to Van province in eastern The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... and was handed over to a human smuggler, smuggled across the border the next day. Saberin also returned to Iran.
The security official said that Ottoman Turkish intelligence and coppers arrested 11 men, all Ottoman Turkish citizens, for their involvement in similar cases and brought them to trial on charges that include "the use of weapons, kidnapping, and deception."
The "Washington Post" reported that this kidnapping is similar to another operation carried out by Iran recently against the journalist, Ruhollah Zam, residing in La Belle France but disappeared after being lured to Iraq last year, which Tehran carried out his death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... on Saturday.
It also referred to the liquidation of another Iranian journalist in Istanbul in 2017, Masoud Molavi Vardanjani, in an operation that Ottoman Turkish officials said was carried out under the supervision of intelligence officers working in the Iranian consulate there, according to Rooters.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that American vehicles belonging to the international coalition loaded “stolen Syrian oil” into tanks and transported them from the Hasakah countryside to Iraqi lands
Heck, doesn't everybody have American vehicles by now? Anybody see Trump driving the lead vehicle?

Politico Updated: 08/06/2020 "An American company has inked a contract with Kurdish authorities in northeastern Syria to develop and export the region’s crude oil under a secretive deal approved by the U.S. government months after President Donald Trump announced he was leaving U.S. troops to “secure the oil,” multiple people familiar with the project told POLITICO.
The agreement reached by a little-known firm helmed by politically connected former military and diplomatic officials has already angered the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad, which does not recognize the Kurdish authorities as autonomous. The Syrian Foreign Minister called the deal illegal and said it is aimed at “stealing” Syria’s crude.
