She has a survival instinct. That is saying a lot. Better than our city dwelling females. There is a huge object lesson here.

This action will lead to Egypt's intervention. Sisi has said so, and he is believable. The Egyptian press has prepared the people for what is to come. The stage is set.

Compressed Al-Jazeera 17 Jul 2020: Turk President Erdogan has denounced Egypt and the UAE for supporting LNA's Haftar in eastern Libya, after Egypt's President el-Sisi met Libyan tribesmen who urged Cairo to intervene in the war. Turkey has been giving military aid to the GNA, the UN-recognised government while Egypt, the UAE and Russia have backed Haftar's LNA in the east. Recent weeks have seen dramatic military advances by the Tripoli-based GNA,

Libya and Yemen are also 'abroad'.
Bear in mind that Egypt ended up buying those two Mistral helicopter carriers that the French decided not to sell to the Russians.

[Al Ahram] Pirates have kidnapped seven Russian sailors from the crew of a ship in the Gulf of Guinea, the Russian Embassy in Nigeria said on Monday.
The seven Russians were among 13 crew members pirates kidnapped from the Curacao Trader 210 miles off the coast of Benin last Friday, the embassy said on its official Twitter account, but did not provide further details.
The shipping industry has warned in recent months about increased incidents of piracy and kidnapping in the Gulf of Guinea, particularly around Nigeria.
Pirates this month attacked an oil production vessel off Nigeria and kidnapped nine Nigerian nationals.

[AmericanThinker] Michelle Malkin beaten by BLM thugs and prevented from speaking at Denver pro-police rally
Conservative author and activist Michelle Malkin was brutally assaulted and prevented from speaking as she made her way to the speaker's platform at a pro-police public rally in downtown Denver on Sunday. The patriotic event, the 6th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day billed as "family friendly," was advertised in advance on social media including at Malkin's Twitter, where she has 2.2 million followers.
On the video, which had been viewed over 150,000 times by early Monday, several individuals identifying themselves as Black Lives Matter accost Malkin as one or more of them unfurl collapsible batons and begin pushing and beating on Malkin. In the process, she loses a shoe and is eventually assisted in escaping to a waiting car by the event's security volunteers, at which point the video feed ends. Malkin was understandably distraught at this unanticipated violent turn of events and expressed frustration that Denver police, who were visibly present in the area, did nothing to stop the attacks or to allow the peaceful pro-police rally to continue.

Screw the police, they were following orders! 🙄 The people organizing these events need to wake up, they should have some serious people capable of violence, and a lot of them.
When Panty Fa/BLM get violent, crowd stomp them, if the police interfere, they get stomped too, make it known before hand. Now, for the people giving the orders, target them, make them understand the coming consequences.
#4
Some policemen yes, those that won't do their jobs. But I agree with Phineter Turkeyneck6202, lets go after the ones that gave the orders and make them understand the consequences.
#5
Lets have a demonstration to support the police & bash some policemen?
Support is a two way street. Requires reciprocity. You're a one trick pony grom, and a bit tiresome. Personally I would hold any support the blue rallies at this stage. I certainly don't attend these events either.
Time to make lists and work them. All Blue Cities. Mayor, DA's, Police Chiefs and 3 layers down, Council Members and last but not least Police Union officials. Oh, and whomever is funding this, work the money trail and then do the nasty.
#15
Go after LE officers? That's a nonstarter. During the Berkeley battles the police were ordered to stand down and they did - but we still coordinated with them to help secure perimeters, especially an agreed up point by which we could evac those wounded enough to require immediate medical care - and it turned out be quite necessary.

For now, but not long term. At Nuremburg trials the NAZI's used the I was only following orders defense. Didn't fly then, isn't going to fly here. At some point the cops will have to decide which side they're on.

They need to use firearms to shoot the assailants. Thatts justified self-defense against those batons in the hands of civilian rioters.

Malkin's security was rather lacking. Time for a re-assessment.
Antifa rioters in Seattle then moved to the East Precinct, the police station in the former "CHAZ." They broke out the windows of the building & started a fire in the lobby. https://t.co/8to0QTz93s

Suggestion from a former colleague:
The Police (State or Federal) need to do what the Bavarian Polizei did about 1985.
The "greens" were "protesting" a nuclear reprocessing facility way out in the boonies. So the Polizei (knowing a major demo was planned for the Easter holiday) called for all the other states to send their "about to expire" tear gas and pepper spray "for disposition".
When the trouble started, the Polizei deployed it all. Every canister. Every shell. All directly on the "Protest".
The demo was over as soon as it started.
That was the last Easter march. Ever! There is a hell of a difference between a "whiff" of gas (which you get in Training or most "kinder and gentler riot control activities" and a bath in / lungfull of the stuff.
And all the states avoided having to pay to have the materials disposed of.

Like it B. There is someting planned for Boise tonight. Word has it lots of out of town a$$holes being shipped in. We should go Coeur D'Alene on them.

I prefer cannister. So, with the cannister: As artillery guys noticed that smaller types of grapeshot caused a greater spread of damage at shorter range, they began to experiment with smaller and smaller balls. Eventually--especially with the CSA--small musket balls were simply tossed into a cannon on top of the powder, creating a spread-out-- but very short--killing zone of 10 to 50 meters. The best anti-infantry size was found to be 2-inch balls loaded in a tin can, which flew apart when fired. These balls carried lethal velocity up to their maximum range, and could even pass through several bodies at short range.
While grapeshot was still sparingly used against infantry, by the time of the Civil War it had almost been completely replaced as anti-personnel ammunition by canister. At medium to long range, grapeshot had a better range than canister, but the development of case shot -- hollow balls that exploded at range -- made this use of grapeshot obsolete. At short range, there was nothing more devastating against infantry than canister, which could even be double-loaded if the need arose.

Beehive was a Vietnam war era anti-personnel round packed with metal flechettes fired from an artillery gun most popularly deployed during that conflict. It is also known as flechette rounds or their official designation, antipersonnel-tracer (APERS-T). Typically, artillery gunners fire using indirect fire, firing at targets they cannot see by line of sight with information provided by a forward observer. However, during the Vietnam War, there was a demand for a munition that could be fired directly at enemy troops, in cases where an artillery unit was attacked. - cite

Speaking of mortars...
Don't recall where I saw it, but the military is fielding a new light mortar.
Seems like a light light mortar would be handy for dealing with Peaceful Protestors(tm). You could bloop tear gas over barricades, and an air burst of pepper balls would be simply heartwarming.
[PORTLANDOREGON.GOV] On Sunday, July 20, 2020, people gathered in front of the Mark O. Hatfield Federal Courthouse in downtown Portland. Hundreds of people stood blocking SW 3rd Avenue while dozens of others tampered with the fence around the courthouse.
At about 9:40 p.m. people in the crowd breached the fence enough to allow access to the area fenced off. The crowd chanted and pulled at the fence for about ninety minutes. At about 11:20 p.m. federal law enforcement came out of the courthouse for a few minutes and attempted to repair the fence, then went back inside.
At about 11:35 p.m. people began climbing the fence and at about 11:43 p.m. people pulled down the fence allowing access to the area in front of the courthouse. Dozens of people with shields, helmets, gas masks, umbrellas, bats, and hockey sticks approached the doors of the courthouse. Federal law enforcement came out of the courthouse at about 11:50 p.m. and dispersed the crowd.
Over the next two hours hundreds of people wandered around downtown Portland many regrouping on SW 3rd Avenue in front of the courthouse, in the adjacent parks and around the Justice Center. At 1:31 a.m. a person climbed onto the northwest corner of the Justice Center to tamper with a security camera. At 1:34 a.m. people lit a fire within the portico in front of the federal courthouse. Others gathered around the fire adding wood and other debris to make it larger.
At 1:42 a.m. federal law enforcement came out of the courthouse, dispersed the crowd and extinguished the fire.
Portland Police were not present during any of the activity described. Portland Police did not engage with any crowds and did not deploy any CS gas.

[Jpost] A terrorist was shot and injured after he threw an explosive at Border Police who were arresting two Paleostinians for involvement in terrorism in Jenin on Sunday night.
Sometimes you’re David, other times not.
Undercover Border Police officers entered Jenin after receiving intelligence from the Shin Bet and arrested the two suspects from their homes. The brother of one of the suspects was arrested after he attacked one of the officers.
As the forces left Jenin, disturbances broke out and stones and explosives were thrown at the officers. The officers responded by opening fire and injured one of the bandidosgunnies who threw an explosive.
[Jpost] Israel's Border Authority thwarted an attempt to smuggle a hunting rifle and ammunition through a West Bank checkpoint on Sunday night.
An Israeli vehicle that arrived at the checkpoint on Route 5 raised suspicion of a Border Authority agent. The hunting rifle and ammunition were found wrapped in a blanket during a search of the vehicle.
[IsraelTimes] Israel is investigating the Paleostinian governor of Jerusalem over suspected terrorism, in the first such allegation against the often-arrested leader, his lawyer says Monday.
Adnan Ghaith has been arrested by Israeli security forces more than 10 times over the past two years, but typically over the minor offense of engaging in "illegal" political activities in the city.
He has generally been released within a day or two.
But Ghaith’s lawyer Mohammed Mahmoud tells AFP that in addition to political offenses the governor was being probed over "planning an act of terrorism," and not expected to be released soon.
It was the first time Ghaith was the subject of a terrorism investigation and Israel’s powerful domestic security agency, the Shin Bet, was involved in the case, Mahmoud says.
The Shin Bet does not immediately respond to a query about the investigation.
Israel bans all Paleostinian Authority activities in the city.
As a result, the PA has a minister for Jerusalem affairs and a Jerusalem governor located in al-Ram, just on the other side of an Israeli wall that separates the city and the West Bank.
Ghaith has repeatedly been arrested for allegedly carrying out PA activities in East Jerusalem, including for working to ensure Paleostinians in the city had access to essential services in the battle against coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. [Al Ahram] Syrian air defences on Monday intercepted a new Israeli "aggression" above the capital Damascus, state media said, in the latest wave of attacks that Western intelligence sources have said were Israeli strikes on Iranian-backed targets in Syria.
State television said Israeli missiles had flown over the Syrian Golan Heights where they conducted raids around the capital and live footage showed blasts across the skies of the capital.
The bases in eastern, central and southern Syria which Israel had hit in recent months are believed to have a strong presence of Iranian-backed militias, according to intelligence sources and military defectors familiar with the locations.
Syria never publicly acknowledges that the strikes target Iranian assets in a country where Tehran's military presence has covered most government-controlled areas.
The Syrian military said the country's air defenses responded on Monday to Israeli air raids in south Damascus that caused only material damage, and residents said loud explosions rocked the capital.
It was not clear what the targets were. The air raids, which came just before 10 p.m. (1900 GMT), continued for more than 15 minutes. Residents reported hearing at least four explosions in the capital.
A military official quoted in Syrian state media said air defenses responded and downed most of the missiles. He said the attack caused material damage only.
The Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors the country's civil war, said the suspected Israeli strikes targeted government and Iranian militia posts.
Syrian military now says seven Syrian soldiers were wounded in the Israeli airstrike https://t.co/PVFjyQ9XcX
