[FOXNEWS] Starbucks apologized to the Tempe, Ariz., police department after some of its officers were asked to leave from one of its shops on the Fourth of July following complaints from a customer who said they didn't feel safe with cops present.
The coffee giant apologized for any "misunderstanding or inappropriate behavior that may have taken place" and said it has "deep respect for the Tempe Police Department."
Starbucks did not immediately respond to a Fox News request for comment Saturday. Expensive burnt coffee with a liberal attitude. Why I don't patronize them
Six officers had purchased their drinks prior to their July 4 shift and were standing together when a barista asked them to leave because a customer said they did not feel safe by their presence, the Tempe Officers Association posted to its Facebook account.
The post was accompanied by a parody Starbucks logo featuring coffee being dumped from a cup. The union called the request "offensive" and said "such treatment has become all too common in 2019."
"We know this is not a national policy at Starbucks Corporate and we look forward to working collaboratively with them on this important dialogue," the union said.

That sounds like an apology may have taken place. Or not. How does anyone over the age of 12 not know this is wrong?

This response of the public occurs among those of checkered past. Perhaps they have a warrant on them or have had. I would be suspicious of Starbucks clientele.
I must add of what I have seen recently anxiety attacks among the public are increasing. It is no longer the drunks we must deal with, it's the druggies. In a full blown anxiety attack they will take anything. Refuse to go anywhere. Communication is very limited. Police are our last line of defense. They must manage these people as in triage.

So the next time Starbucks gets robbed, and they call 911, the police should say "Sorry, we can't go there. We wouldn't want anyone to feel unsafe."
Of course, the police won't actually do that.

When does Starbucks close all stores for police sensitivity training? When will they install needle exchanges gun lube in all their bathrooms?

Maybe another good response would have been to say to the police "The customer by the window in the brown shirt says you make him feel uncomfortable. Do you recognize him?"

Ask for his ID and check for outstanding warrants.

I am reminded of my ex-mayor. He told Humpy Wheeler (owner of Charlotte Motor Speedway) he wouldn't allow Humpy to build his new drag racing venue because one of his constituents didn't like the noise it would create. Guess what became of that little dust up?

[Rolling Stone] Speaking at the 25th annual Essence Festival, Senator Kamala Harris announced her plan to close the racial homeownership gap that has historically prevented minority families from purchasing homes. Harris’s proposal would allocate $100 billion in downpayment and closing-cost assistance to families living in historically red-lined communities, administered through the Department of Housing and Urban Development. That would be enough to help at least four million become homeowners.
"A typical black family has just $10 of wealth for every $100 held by a white family," Harris said. "So we must right that wrong and‐after generations of discrimination‐give black families a real shot at homeownership‐historically one of the most powerful drivers of wealth."
Investing in homes is one of the best ways to create generational wealth, but home loans have historically been denied to minority families through racist practices such as redlining. Redlining drew boundaries around low-income and majority black communities and designated them as not eligible for federal loan assistance, preventing black families from borrowing money to purchase their own home. It is largely responsible for the racial homeownership gap that currently exists, where 73 percent of white families own their own homes while les s than 50 percent of black and Latino families do.

This ties in with their newfound fascination with reparations. Do mind, the reparations program being developed by democrat think tanks features land transfer. Giving public land away as freehold. Also taking land away from owners, based on other property they own, and parceling it out to black families. It's like they lifted it out of some Marxist textbook.

Make it a classic land rush -- open up some federal land for development. Anyone can claim as much as 120 acres; they have to have at least 2/3rds of it in productive use or housing in seven years.
Give low-income blacks a two-year head start and no interest on loans for seven years. Racially discriminatory, but that's the end of it -- no more development zones, no more set-asides, no more preferences; it all becomes illegal racial discrimination.
I think you'll find results similar to the ones that led to "racist redlining" -- about a third will work hard to be successful, about half will just be getting by, and the remainder will milk the program for short-term wealth and be worse off than when it started.

Many black Americans love it when people promise to steal from others and deliver the booty to them. "How cool is that!" Unfortunate, but very, very true.
[Breitbart] Providing free, American taxpayer-funded healthcare to all illegal aliens is just the latest effort to use mass immigration to turn the United States into the sanctuary state of California, Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) says.
As Breitbart News reported, the majority of 2020 Democrat presidential candidates have endorsed a plan to force taxpayers to pay for free healthcare for all 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living across the country. The plan would cost taxpayers at least $660 billion a decade.
Brooks told SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Tonight that Democrats’ "primary motivation" behind offering healthcare to illegal aliens is not compassion, but rather an effort to transform the U.S. into the state of California through mass illegal and legal immigration.
[AMERICANTHINKER] A scenario unfolded last week that has become boringly predictable. Bad guy does bad things. Good guy with authority shows up to stop him. Bad guy attacks good guy with weapon. Good guy shoots bad guy. Bad guy’s "community" allege good guy is racist. Craven politician holds town hall meeting. Craven politician gets shouted down by angry mob. Craven politician folds like wet paper to angry mob’s demands. Craven politician appoints special prosecutor to investigate good guy, who determines good guy was justified in shooting the bad guy. Angry mob insists the "system" is rigged against them. Bad guy’s kindergarten graduation picture circulates Internet. Bad guy’s relatives give interview explaining how much bad guy had always dreamed of being an astronaut. Media salivates all over itself. Other good guys question the sanity of risking their lives to stop bad guys. Less good guys volunteer to do so. Crime increases. Angry mob blames the "system" for neglecting rising crime. Meanwhile, ...back at the alley, Bugs Moroni was holding Slats from behind while his brother Greasy Thumb was pounding his face into paste ... another bad guy does bad things. Good guy with authority shows up to stop him. Rinse. Repeat.
Okay, only the first half of this scenario has happened so far, but who wants to bet against the second half playing out as predicted? In this specific biopunk performance, the role of the craven politician who succumbed to the mob of his own creation was none other than America’s Aww Shucks Mayor, Pete Buttigieg

Mob anxiety feeds upon itself. Just being is such a meeting amplifies their fears. So communication is not the answer. Media will only spread the the emotional infection to others. The public will be sitting in a small room perhaps with no windows cowering on their cushioned chair holding their knife or axe. Yes, axe. Just to walk outside they carry an axe for protection. Get a flat from running over a nail was a deliberate act by someone towards them personally. Anxiety so bad they don't sleep. So as you can see drugs for many illegal or legal to them are the only relief or perhaps suicide.

Mob anxiety feeds upon itself.
Which is why the 18th century concentrated so much on developing reason and logic. I think we’re due for a revival of that, moving all the feelz to a secondary consideration.
[CNSNEWS] Democratic politicians in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, have introduced a bill that will allow illegal immigrants colonists to hold leadership positions within the Democrat Party on the state and local level, Breitbart reports.
Current state law limits noncitizen participation in party politics, but the bill, SB 288, would change that, letting noncitizens, including illegal immigrants colonists like Dreamers, serve as state convention delegates and county committee leaders within the Democratic Party, which will allow them to be involved with party platform and other issues.
"We need to continue to send a very, very loud message that we are ... going to embrace and uplift and support all American immigrant neighbors," Sen. Scott Weiner (D-the Socialist paradise of San Francisco ...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964... ), one of the politicians who introduced the bill, said.

No, not globalism in my opinion. Each group will fight for their own kind. The melting pot is no more. The salad is what we have now. Diversity to the extreme. I saw this in DC. Seeing what the blacks had done to gain power for their own the others have been doing the same. Unity is gone. So where this happens communities become fractioned. The power they hope for will not occur. Democrats with subgroups, Iranians, Pakistanis, Indians, Chinese, Africans and so on.
[DCWHISPERS] Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower. Senate minority leader as of 2017. is facing rebuke from a fellow New York Democrat and longtime political ally, for distorting‐for electoral gain‐the record and policies of the Trump administration.
Assemblyman Dov Hikind, who represents Schumer’s home borough of Brooklyn in the New York legislature, penned an open letter to the senator after receiving a campaign mailer soliciting financial contributions. Hikind said the mailer attacked the "hard right" while omitting "vital information."
In his letter, which was posted on the assemblyman’s Facebook page, Hikind castigated Schumer for promising to fight "for Democratic values" while providing little in means of substance.
"Senator Schumer, in your letter you promise to fight for Democratic values and go on at great length to fully villainize the current administration, but you left out certain facts that my fellow Democrats, to say nothing of all Americans, should also be aware of," Hikind wrote.
The assemblyman lambasted Schumer and national Democrats for downplaying the impact the Trump administration has had in fostering economic growth.
You forgot to tell us about the economy. As good as it’s been, economists expect even more growth through the end of the year. That’s very good news," Hikind wrote. "You forgot to tell us about unemployment, which is lower than it has been in decades, while economic confidence is at a 17-year high."
Hikind also expressed support for the tax cuts proposed by the president and enacted by congressional Republicans.
"You forgot to tell us about tax cuts. I’m part of the middle class and now I’m getting a little extra in my paycheck," he wrote. "I’m happy about that and so are tens of millions of Americans, Senator."
Hikind represents one of the largest Orthodox Jewish communities outside of Israel and extensively praised the Trump administration’s foreign policy initiatives, a number of which were supported by Schumer himself.
"You forgot to tell us about the most remarkable relationship between the United States and our ally Israel ever. Or about moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, which you yourself applauded," Hikind wrote. "You forgot to tell us about the successful dismantling of the Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... Deal ... [that] threatened the rest of the world by making it easier for Iran, the leading supporter of world terrorism, to develop nuclear weapons."

From where the sun now stands, I shall vote Democratic no more forever.

...but made up handsomely by even greater numbers who just stay home. In CA and IL they'll cover those with 'vote harvesting' but the electoral college is what counts.
#5
Damn straight. The boxes of found Democrat ballots is a proven technique. They won't miss again. I fear Trump is the last Republican President of this republic.
#6
Anyone showing up with a box of ballots should simply be shot out of hand and their head put on display in front of polling places with a sign "Vote Fraud Kills"

and Assemblyman Hikind, when did you first realize you were part of an organized crime syndicate and why didn't you do something about it then?

"Senator Schumer, in your letter you promise to fight for Democratic values.."
The problem is the Donk Party has gone way too far left. They practice identity politics and attempt to divide Americans from one other; they do not share the “united” concept of the U.S.A. They use PC, diversity, multiculturalism, Social Justice, and propaganda as their weapons and in some instances promote violence.
The things they promote are not widely shared and supported by the majority of Americans: statism, the Green New Deal, sanctuary cities and states, border and immigration anarchy, huge debts, large government and spending, using ends-justifies-the-means to gain power, a non-free press, globalism, a weakened America and an enfeebled Constitution.
“Democratic Party values” are different from “democratic values” and not embraced by most Americans.
[RedState] There’s a new move on the part of the Trump administration where it concerns those in the country illegally: They’re going to be subjected to fines up to $500,000 for not leaving after being told to.
Something tells me they may not be able to pay that. So does it matter?
Regardless, here’s NPR:
The Department of Homeland Security sent out a batch of notices across the country to targeted individuals ordering them to pay fines of up to nearly $500,000 for "failing to depart the U.S. as previously agreed," among other factors. The letters come as the Trump administration prepares to carry out delayed immigration sweeps of migrant families who have received deportation orders. President Trump said Monday, while signing legislation providing $4.6 billion in funding to address the influx of migrants from Central America, that the immigration raids will begin after the July 4 holiday if Congress can’t pass new restrictions on asylum laws.
As for ponying up a cool half mil, NPR acquired a particular notice sent to an illegal immigrant stating the following:
"It is the intention of ICE to order you pay a fine in the amount of $497,777."
ICE official Matthew Bourke explained that it’s part of a comprehensive approach:
"ICE is committed to using various enforcement methods ‐ including arrest, detention, technological monitoring and financial penalties ‐ to enforce U.S. immigration law and maintain the integrity of legal orders issued by judges."
Are the fines legal? They are, ICE claims, as per the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Will officials in sanctuary jurisdictions and those assisting illegal aliens in entering or remaining in the country be subject to joint-and-several liability? I'll wager that there's a game here beyond the obvious first-order effects.
