[ZeroHedge] President Trump on Friday said that he wants Attorney General William Barr to investigate the UK, Australia and Ukraine for their roles in the 'greatest hoax in the history of our country.'
Speaking with reporters at the White House on Friday before his trip to Japan, Trump discussed his decision this week to issue a sweeping declassification order - leaving it in the hands of Barr to determine exactly what happened to Trump and his campaign before and after the 2016 US election.
"For over a year, people have asked me to declassify. What I've done is declassified everything," said Trump, adding "He can look and I hope he looks at the UK and I hope he looks at Australia and I hope he looks at Ukraine." The costs to MI-6, the Aussies, and others for doing Brennan's bidding need to be harsh and public
"It's the greatest hoax probably in the history of our country and somebody has to get to the bottom of it. We'll see. For a long period of time, they wanted me to declassify and I did."

ZeroHedge. Yeah right. This isn't aimed at those guys as much as it is aimed at the seditious insiders in DC swamp and Intelligence Community (redundant?) who used the assets from the Brits, Aussies and Ukrainian assets to try to entrap Trump associates.

I doubt much new information will come from the AG's trip to the UK. In short, It is likely (or now blindingly obvious) 'political opposition research' was weaponized via bilateral counterintelligence operation 'Crossfire Hurricane'. Multiple goals or end-states were likely in play, most notably the destruction of the Trump Campaign and the insulation from view of the Clinton Foundation.
Notice if you will, what is currently not being examined or mentioned by nearly anyone:
a. How Trump discovered he was being electronically monitored.
b. The funding venues of the Clinton Foundation.
c. Clinton alternate communications systems (home brew) servers and the unauthorized release of thousands of classified communications.

I think it's time for the "five eyes" to be gouged out. We have the riffraff in our domestic intel agencies to worry about in spades. Events show inviting the other four eyes riffraff along is no help at all.

I wonder if there is any connections between the recent election upsets in UK and Australia.
#5
I doubt it RJ. People vote their wallets. In the UK it's Brexit which probably not a single person who voted for would change their mind. In Oz, it's the Green New Scam, which the voters don't want to pay for. Nobody really cares about spies except other spies and Rantburgers, who look at the big picture.

Hillary is suddenly making news rounds and talking trash about Trump again. The timing is interesting.
[Issues&Insights] President Trump might be openly hostile to the mainstream media, but it was the Obama administration that was engaged in a widespread effort to thwart the media. Which do you think is more harmful to a free press?
The full extent of Obama’s actions against the press are only now coming to light.
The Columbia Journalism Review reports on a newly released government document showing that the Obama Justice Department engaged in a far more sweeping effort to spy on the Associated Press than previously believed.
“In 2013, the Justice Department launched a brazen attack on press freedom,” the CJR notes, “issuing sweeping subpoenas for the phone records of The Associated Press and several of its reporters and editors as part of a leak investigation. At the time, the subpoenas were widely seen as a massive intrusion into newsgathering operations. Last month, we learned that they told only part of the story.”
The spying came in the wake of the AP’s reporting on a thwarted Yemen-based bomb plot, which contained classified information about the CIA operation. Months later, the AP learned that the DOJ had vacuumed up two-months of phone records on 21 different lines trying to find the leaker.
[BALTIMORESUN] U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen and Rep. C. A. Dutch Ruppersberger are seeking briefings from the National Security Agency after a report that a spying tool developed by the agency and then leaked online was used to spread the ransomware that has debilitated Baltimore’s computer systems.
And Council President Brandon Scott said the federal government should step in to cover some of the cost of Baltimore’s recovery. BLUF, hmmmm? $$$
The New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... reported Saturday that hackers used a tool known as EternalBlue to spread the ransomware through the city’s systems. The Times cited anonymous security experts briefed on the case.
Ruppersberger, a Democrat whose district includes part of Baltimore, has previously raised concerns about the dangers posed by EternalBlue and other leaked tools ‐ part of a huge cache posted online in 2017 by a group calling itself the Shadow Brokers ‐ and says more needs to be done to counter them.
"If recent media reports regarding the origins of the Baltimore ransomware attack are true, the congressman’s concerns are further validated," said Jaime Lennon, a spokeswoman for Ruppersberger. "We will be seeking a full briefing from NSA regarding these reports."
While the tools have been widely linked to the U.S. spy agency, and experts and former babus government employees have said they appear to be authentic, U.S. officials have never acknowledged the connection.
Van Hollen, a Democrat, said in a statement that he had been in contact Saturday with Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, the party’s top member on the Senate Intelligence Committee, and that they would seek a briefing from the NSA.
"We must ensure that the tools developed by our agencies do not make their way into the hands of bad actors," Van Hollen said.
Scott said he was calling on Gov. Larry Hogan to ask the White House for the ransomware attack to be declared a federal emergency, which would unlock funding. graft and boodle await!
"Given the new information and circumstances its even more clear that the federal government needs to have a larger role in supporting the City’s recovery, including federal reimbursement for damages," Scott said.
"The fact that the root technology that enabled this attack came from our own federal government, just miles away, only adds insult to injury."
Lester Davis, a front man for Bernard C. "Jack" Young, said the Democratic mayor supported Ruppersberger’s efforts to glean more information.
"The information that was included in the Times story was very troubling," Davis said.

So they'd probably like to sue Snowden. And maybe Russia for harboring Snowden. And probably every other internet entity that disseminated the NSA hackware. Why not just cut to the chase and sure the internet. It's got to be deep pocket, right?

As for "federal emergency," that would be a flood, earthquake, fire or, yes, a bunch of uninvited guests coming from Mexico and Central America. Baltimore's problem is more a case of "Your lack of planning does not constitute a crisis for me..."

[GatewayPundit] Rumors Swirling that Fired Italian Spies Were Connected in Plot to Eliminate Trump.
Rumors are swirling that the recent firings of top Italian spies were related to Obama and a plot to set up candidate and President Trump in a Hillary email scandal.
Earlier this month Italian Prime Minister Conte asked for the resignations of four top intelligence officials after his call with President Donald Trump.
And now another Internet Sleuth has uncovered some shocking news related to the recent removal of these top Italian intelligence ministers from their positions as top spies in the government.
The story begins in January 2017 when Computer World wrote about alleged crimes committed by Italian Giulio Occhionero:
The Tuesday arrest of Giulio Occhionero and his sister, Francesca Maria, has brought to light what appears to be the biggest, and highest-profile, hacking of institutional and corporate accounts ever reported in Italy.
The siblings have been planting the Pyramid Eye remote access Trojan on computers using a spear-phishing technique over several years, according to the arrest order.
They attacked at least 18,000 high-profile targets, including former Prime Ministers Matteo Renzi and Mario Monti, President of European Central Bank Mario Draghi, as well as employees and heads of various ministries including Internal Affairs, Treasury, Finance and Education.
But Giulio Occhionero claimed that he and his sister, Francesca Maria, were set up. A piece reported by Frederico Punzi, writing in The Atlantico, notes their denials and more:
Occhionero claims and it’s reported that:
Members of Italian intelligence were approached by Hillary Clinton, the Obama Administration, and the Deep State in order to frame Trump by PLANTING EVIDENCE on American servers to force Trump to step down from office.
In other words, members of Italian intelligence found a target in Occhionero, a Republican-sympathizer who had two servers for his company, Westland Securities, located in America. One was in Washington State, and the other in West Virginia.
The plan was for Italian Intelligence to hack into these servers, plant classified emails from Hillary’s servers inside these servers on American soil, and then alert the FBI.
The FBI would then raid these locations, “discover” these e-mails, investigate, link these servers to Trump…
And then force Trump to resign.
Occhionero believes that Obama and the former leader of Italy, Matteo Renzi, worked together on this plan and he provides reports of their meetings in Italy before the 2016 election and in early 2017.

Baraq and Hildebeast conspiring to use computers to frame Trump? They don't have the intellect for it so they would have to trust an "expert" to plan and implement such a scheme. That's when things get really shaky. They must have known they didn't know what they were doing so they must have been really desperate. The real question is how they coaxed Italian intel officials into the scheme. Bribery? Blackmail? Death threats? Had to be something dramatic. It's gonna make for some of the best spy novels since the Cold War.

I think this is bullshit. Either the Occhioneros are trying to barter a way out of prison, or just trying to sell a story.
This filthy Shanty Irish Willem Defoe lookalike is a Deep State whore
[Red State] When U.S. intelligence agencies gather information on foreigners, often the name of a U.S. citizen or entity will be collected. Under current U.S. law, information about innocent citizens gathered in this way is referred to as incidental collection. Their names and data must be masked to protect their privacy.
Authorized government officials, under certain conditions, may "unmask" the identity of an individual.
When John Bolton served at the United Nations, he "unmasked" the identities of three individuals. In the year leading up to the 2016 presidential election, then-U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Powers unmasked over 260 Americans.
On September 20, 2017, Fox News reported that the remarkable number of Americans who had been unmasked at Powers' request "was an attempt to uncover associates of President Trump. She was "unmasking" at such a rapid pace in the final months of the Obama administration that she averaged more than one request for every working day in 2016, even seeking information in the days leading up to President Trump&'s inauguration."
In October 2017, Powers testified before a closed session of the House Intelligence Committee. Then Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) spoke to Fox News' Brett Baier afterward and said:
Her testimony is they [the unmasking requests] may be under my name, but I did not make those requests.
I think if she were on your show, she would say those requests to unmask may have been attributed to her, but they greatly exceed by an exponential factor the requests she actually made...So, that's her testimony, and she was pretty emphatic about it.
So, we've got to get to the bottom of that. If there is someone else making requests on behalf of a principal in the intelligence community, we need to know that because we're getting ready to reauthorize a program that's really important to the country, but also has a masking component to it.
Judicial Watch founder Tom Fitton filed an initial FOIA request for all State Department documents relating to Powers' unmaskings in October 2017, and has been unable to obtain them. Hint: Hatred of teh Joooos and West Bank Settlements

"OANN’s Jack Posobiec sent the following tweets on Friday.
BREAKING: Samantha Power targeted any call made about Israeli settlements for unmasking. When she found Gen Flynn making calls she opposed, she passed information to Sally Yates who opened Logan Act investigation. DNI Coats has now reviewed all unmasking.
BREAKING: White House plans to declassify documents showing that Samantha Power was on a “one-woman crusade” for the Palestinians and against Israel in 2016. Repeated unmakings were used to ensure her effort did not fail."

[Epoch Times] WASHINGTON‐A new group seeks to expose efforts by communists to take over the Democratic Party and, in so doing, help to drive them out.
Group member Trevor Loudon, who is also a contributor to The Epoch Times, announced on his website that with the launch of Stand Against Communism, this "takeover of the Democratic Party will be publicly exposed until the party takes firm action to remove these subversives from its ranks."
At the launch event at the National Press Club on May 20, Stand Against Communism Chairman Bishop E.W. Jackson said it constituted "an ongoing effort, and we’re developing a strategy for addressing this particularly over the next two years leading up to 2020." Stand Against Communism joins SPLC Hate-Group list in 5...4...3...
"We’re going to use the spotlight of the presidential election to call attention to what these candidates stand for," he said. A "strike force" working in early presidential nomination contest states with churches and Tea Party groups will inform the electorate about candidate backgrounds, and challenge the candidates directly to put them and "the whole apparatus" on the defensive.
For instance, "why hasn’t anybody challenged Bernie Sanders: What does socialism mean?" Jackson asked.
"When Bernie Sanders stands up and declares himself a ’socialist,’" Jackson said, "we ought to all hear him saying, ’I am a Communist.’" After all, Jackson argued, the CPUSA’s own stated goal is "to build socialism in the United States based on the revolutionary traditions and struggles of the people of our country."
The problem is not limited to presidential candidates, Jackson said. Former FBI Director James Comey once revealed that politically he had "moved from Communist to whatever I am now." Jackson asked, "How does a former Communist end up the head of the FBI?"
Likewise, Jackson noted, former CIA Director John Brennan has acknowledged he once voted for Communist Party USA (CPUSA) General Secretary Gus Hall for president, a candidate "who was being funded by the Soviet Union."

The takeover happened a long time ago. The CPUSA has boasted about it for 40 years or more. These doofuses are just now noticing. This is damage control, too little, too late.
[RealClearInvestigations] "The FBI and DoJ are ruthless to each other, petty to one another," one congressional staffer marvels.
FBI investigator Peter Strzok provides a vivid example of the attitudes at play. In texts to his lover, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, he makes declarations such as "I hate DoJ." Half an hour later he sends another text that includes "And I hate DoJ." Elsewhere in the texts, the people of "main justice" are called "political dicks" In the same spirit Strzok declares "DoJ are putzes, man." Later he tells Page, "Don't trust DoJ" and declares, "God I hate them." Page describes DoJ as the "no brigade." She writes, "I just feel like throttling DOJ."
Connoisseurs of the knife fights between Justice and the bureau keep an eye out not only for what gets reported in the press, but where it gets reported. "The Department of Justice has good relations with, and tends to leak to, the Washington Post," says a longtime Capitol Hill staffer. "The FBI leaks to the New York Times."

DOJ and FBI are both rotten due to Obama appointees, starting with Holder. They should both be cleaned out starting at the top of the GS careerists, because of the leaks, not who they leak to.
We need someone to get medieval on them and the intelligence agencies and the IRS, who have all gone rogue in one way or another. Fortunately, Trump is the President, and he should be able to find enough hatchet men to lop off the rotten branches.

If someone like Strzok can pass a polygraph or a psychological evaluation, both are useless for sorting out the types who should not be dog catcher let alone high level bureaucrat...

Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
