[The Hill] The bell has rung on round two of the Democratic Party’s civil war.
Former Vice President Joe Biden’s entry into the 2020 presidential primary sets the stage for another knockdown, drag-out fight between the establishment wing of the party and the ascendant left, led by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
That showdown threatens to tear open old wounds the party suffered in the bitter 2016 primary contest between Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
Party leaders have tried to move on from that divisive episode, but there are still deep wells of suspicion and distrust between mainstream Democrats and the left.
"The civil war that started in 2016 never ended," said one veteran Democratic hand. "It’s still going on."
The 2016 primary contest left liberals fuming at what they viewed as establishment interference in the race, underscored by the hacked Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails that showed favoritism toward Clinton.

Bernie looks to finish first in Iowa and NH and that will reduce the field by eliminating about a dozen of the candidates but those events are 8 months away. Until then, let the woke times roll

[NYPOST] Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), one of President Trump’s most relentless critics, is tiptoeing away from demanding his impeachment ‐ saying instead that it’s up to the nation to "vote his ass out of office."
"I’m not there yet on impeachment," Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Friday night on HBO’s "Real Time with Bill Maher."
"I may get there. [Trump] may get me there," Schiff added.
"At the end of the day, Bill, there’s only one way to deal with this problem, whether we impeach him or not. And that is to vote his ass out of office."
On Sunday, Schiff said he expected House Democrats to debate going forward on impeachment hearings, after party leaders came under pressure from progressives to do so ‐ even though Special Counsel Robert Mueller did not find evidence that Trump’s campaign had colluded with Russia, as Schiff had charged.
Mueller’s report came to no conclusion about allegations that Trump had obstructed his investigation, but Attorney General William Barr decided not to pursue indictments into the matter

Schiff was Hillary's running mate and they wese defeated. The fwo of them lost the election to the highest offices and are officially therefore the biggest losers in politics. They claim to have won the majority of the votes but were defeafed via the Electorial College. They think they, therefore, are legit and thus have a mandate to remove their opponent. Even if they have to lie, cheat or steal.
Wrong. The vast coastal populations are Dims. The vast majority of fly over is not. They ignored the vast majority of the least populated regions so the system worked, electorial college. and gave them a loss.
Trump was smart enough to know better so the system gave the smarter candidate the golden egg. The mid terms the Dims under estimated Trumps higher IQ again and he kept them from taking the Senate.
Packed rally in WI last night when Trump ignored the White House press dinner, the establishment pubs were never that smart. +3.2% GDP. The Dims? Dead end witch hunts. Continue to be the biggest losers.
