BLUF:
[Hot Air] Maria Farmer, then 26, claims she was employed by Epstein, a multimillionaire financier who lived in a vast mansion on New York’s Upper East Side, and that she frequently saw "school-age girls’’ wearing uniforms come into the mansion and go upstairs. She was told that the girls were auditioning for modeling work, according to her affidavit.
Then an art student in New York, Farmer said she reported her assault to New York police and the FBI in 1996. FBI documents released April 1 make a reference to Farmer having been interviewed in 2006 or 2007. However, Farmer, now 49, said the FBI did not take any action against Epstein and Maxwell.
"To my knowledge, I was the first person to report Maxwell and Epstein to the FBI. It took a significant amount of bravery for me to make that call because I knew how incredibly powerful and influential both Epstein and Maxwell were, particularly in the art community,’’ she wrote.
[People] Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli don’t appreciate the backlash over their alleged involvement in the college admissions cheating scam.
After pleading not guilty earlier this week, a source tells PEOPLE that the couple resents how the case is playing out in the public eye.
"This is putting unspeakable stress on her and her family," a source close to Loughlin tells PEOPLE. "They’re having to play this all out publicly, and they’re fair game for jokes and memes, but also outraged [by] people who are saying that they are cheaters."
"They’re being destroyed," the source adds.
On Monday, the couple pled not guilty to both charges they face in the case: mail fraud and money laundering conspiracy. A source previously told PEOPLE that the plea was the "only choice" they had after rejecting an offer for a deal from prosecutors.

I, for one, wish that Turdeau would go to Venezuela in person and sort out this little misunderstandig. He might like it enough to stay there.

[ELUNIVERSAL] The calls of the United States (US) to ask Caracas to let in humanitarian aid are a smokescreen to prepare a "foreign invasion," said the Venezuelan ambassador to the UN agencies in Geneva on Tuesday.
"We can never accept the attempts to use humanitarian support to promote a foreign invasion in our country," Ambassador Jorge Valero said in an interview with AFP.
"That is why we firmly reject the US attempt to use the supposed humanitarian aid as a mechanism for intervention," he added.
President Nicolás Maduro closed four border bridges linking Venezuela with the Colombian city of Cúcuta on February 22, after the United States and some 50 countries recognized opposition leader Juan Guaidó as interim president, AFP reported.
US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, had asked Maduro on Sunday to lift the border blockade to allow aid to Venezuela to enter.
Venezuela is going through a deep political and economic crisis. More than 2.7 million Venezuelans have left the country since 2015, fleeing the shortage of essential products and medicines, a situation that has been aggravated in recent weeks by a series of blackouts.
Valero insisted on the fact that his country is open to humanitarian aid from "friendly countries", and recalled the agreement concluded last week with the International Committee of the Red Thingy (ICRC).

So I suppose the chinese and russian aid is not?

Letting the Russians waste money on Venezuela is of as big an issue for me as is the Chinese infestation. They have the resources to stay and metastasize permanently. Must more a strategic threat in the long view of the looming conflict.

What the fuck would we want with their shitty country and their shitty, heavy oil?
Controlling the V.oil for our own consumption will crush the remainder of the oil producers in the world because of the drop in demand for their product.

[Patriot3] MARS sets the world standard for elevated tactical entry and rescue systems. Its dual, side-by-side hydraulic ramps allow simultaneous elevated access at varying heights, providing an enormous advantage to police, military and anti-terror forces.
A somewhat dated story, but still of potential interest.
[Task and Purpose] The most exciting advancement in the evolution of the otherwise boring-as-hell world of drones isn’t the MQ-9 Reaper, favored by the Pentagon to replace the iconic Predator: It’s the Navy’s MQ-25 program, an unmanned refueling aircraft that can extend the range of carrier-based fighters far beyond their normal capabilities.
While defense contractors Boeing and General Atomics are currently vying for the MQ-25 contract, Lockheed Martin just busted out a preview of a "Stingray" concept design dreamed up by the company’s legendary Skunk Works division. We recently made fun of the Air Force’s recent drone-fleet sizzle reel for its resemblance to a war movie that was so bad Jessica Biel couldn’t save it. But... Lockheed’s preview actually has us a little excited.

AlanC - A fully loaded 2nd stage of the StarShip (Musk's big rocket) will mass 10,000 metric tons.
I suspect no matter what the official payload is that it could be made to carry a 326 ton load...
(official payload is likely tons less than the SLS so they don't piss off NASA)...
