[PRESSTV] The US Department of Defense has awarded arms manufacturing giant Lockheed Martin Corp a $2.5 billion contract to produce Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile systems for Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... , as part of President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... ’s extensive arms deals with the oil-rich kingdom.
"Lockheed Martin Corporation Missiles and Fire Control [of] Dallas, Texas is being awarded a $2,457,390,566 modification... contract for the production of THAAD interceptors... to support the US government and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," the Pentagon said in a blurb on Monday.
In November last year, Saudi and American officials signed an agreement for the sale of 44 THAAD launchers, missiles and related equipment to Riyadh worth $15 billion.
The Pentagon said the Saudi government would pay $1.5 billion of the $2.4 billion to Lockheed.
Washington proceeded with the deal despite international outrage over the role of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ...Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia as of 2016.... in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi critic who lived in the US and disappeared after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2.
The THAAD is built and integrated by Lockheed Martin, America’s biggest arms maker. The advanced weapon is designed to shoot down short-, medium- and intermediate-range ballistic missiles using advanced detection radars designed by Raytheon, another US arms maker.
Under the new deal, the Pentagon will upgrade obsolete systems in Saudi Arabia’s air defense infrastructure to better integrate the THAAD technology.
The deal comes as Riyadh continues negotiations to purchase advanced Russian S-400 missile defense systems much to Washington’s despise.

[VOE] In Skåne in southern Sweden, the judicial system’s resources have recently, among other things, been used to frame a 91-year-old man who wrote negatively about Islam and Muslims on Facebook.
The man who is from Bromölla was convicted of "incitement to racial or ethnic hatred" after he wrote "offensive" about Muslims, according to the local newspaper.
"You cannot, with the best will in the world, call these creatures humans. They seem to be inbred, the way they behave", the elderly man supposedly wrote.
The local newspaper calls him "Sweden’s oldest online hater". The District Court argues that the comments are "clearly offensive to Muslims" and therefore sentences the man for hate speech.
According to the court, the usual punishment for the crime he committed is two months in prison, but the 91-year-old man evades the slammer and is let off with a conditional sentence and SEK 6,500 (€650) in daily fines.
It is far from the first time a pensioner is convicted of hate speech in Sweden.
The tax funded group "The Online Hate Speech Monitor", which is run by Tomas Åberg, a shady ex-cop who a few years ago was investigated for extensive animal cruelty but escaped charges by avoiding being served the lawsuit, reported 1,218 Swedes for hate speech in 2017-2018.
Voice of Europe has reported about several of the group’s victims earlier. One of them is 65-year-old Christina, who was sentenced to 3 months in prison after writing on Facebook that "mass immigration will cause Sweden’s IQ to fall to goldfish levels".

[PRESSTV] The outcome of mayoral elections in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... ’s second-largest city of Istanbul remains in doubt as President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey... ’s ruling party is challenging the initial results, which gave the main opposition party a slight lead in one of the economic hub’s tightest election races in decades.
Municipal elections were held across Turkey on Sunday. Erdogan’s alliance led by the ruling Justice and Development Party, known as AKP, succeeded in securing over 51 percent of the vote nationally, leading him to declare an overall victory.
The AKP, however, suffered a major upset as results showed it had lost not only the political center, Ankara, and the third-largest city of Izmir, but also probably Istanbul, which is Turkey’s commercial center and Erdogan’s home city.
Erdogan and his AKP had not lost a local election in Ankara or Istanbul in nearly two decades. "Because WE count the votes, Gulenists!"
As of Monday afternoon, with over 99 percent of the ballots cast in Istanbul counted, the AKP’s candidate and former prime minister Binali Yildirim, had received 4.13 million votes, while Ekrem Imamoglu, the Republican People’s Party (CHP) candidate, had won 4.16 million.
The chairman of Turkey’s Supreme Election Board (YSK), Sadi Guven, said on Monday that Imamoglu was leading by nearly 28,000 votes with most ballots counted.
"So far a total of 31,102 ballot box results [in Istanbul] have been registered to the system, 84 ballot box results have not been concluded because of objections," he said.
The CHP’s candidate claimed victory in the Istanbul elections and urged the AKP not to resort to unnecessary means to challenge the outcome.
Yildirim ‐ who had initially said that he had won the race by around 4,000 votes -- admitted later that he was 25,000 votes behind Imamoglu.

[DAWN] The ’resurgence of Taliban ...Arabic for students... ’ in South Wazoo tribal district echoed in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly here on Monday amid heated debate over the poor law and order situation across the province, including merged districts.
The politicians exchanged barbs over the increasing incidents of extortion, kidnapping for ransom and child abuse, and the issues related to the Fata-KP merger.
The debate generally focused on the law and order situation in the province.
Speaker Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani presided over the session.
"A week ago, I went to South Waziristan and saw gun-toting good Taliban roam around," ANP parliamentary leader Sardar Hussain Babak told the house.
Mr Babak questioned the existence of peace committees (aman committees) in South Waziristan district.
He alleged that members of the peace committees received 30 percent kickbacks in the development work carried out in South Waziristan.
The ANP leader added that the peace committees took Rs2.4 million from every truck carrying goods from Afghanistan.
"The entire world has pressured Pakistain to eliminate proscribed organizations from its soil, while the authorities have taken steps but despite that, the activists of such outfits are delivering speeches and collecting donations in mosques," he said.
Mr Babak wondered why the provincial government was silent about the brutal liquidation of the province’s police officer, SP Tahir Dawar, in Afghanistan, who was kidnapped in Islamabad.
Leader of the opposition Mohammad Akram Khan Durrani said the incidents of kabooms had almost ended in the province but the rate of other crimes was on the rise.

.@StateDept today revealed previously-classified intel that Iran was responsible for killing roughly 600 Americans in Iraq. I have pushed for years to let the American people know more about the 100s and 100s of Americans murdered by #Iran in #Iraq. https://t.co/0QHwQoRq3M
[Jpost] Ahlam Tamimi, a Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbung millipede, terrorist sentenced to 16 life sentences for her involvement in the 2001 Sbarro pizzeria suicide kaboom in Jerusalem, says that she has "gained strength" since she was released from prison in October 2011 and moved to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In an interview with al-Jazeera, which was translated from Arabic into English by the Middle East Media Research Institute, Tamimi explains how release and the release of her husband "brought great joy and was the beginning of our new life, after the Zionist entity had sentenced us to life in prison."
However, there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened... she said that recently, the American authorities are demanding she be extradited to the United States and tried there.
Another difference between President Trump and his professional politician predecessors.
"The issue has shaken our lives to some extent," she told al-Jazeera. But she said that being in Jordan protects her.
Ahlam Tamimi said that recently, the American authorities are demanding she be extradited to the United States and tried there.
"Jordan does not have an extradition agreement with the United States. This led to the issuing of a legal decision refusing my extradition, and Jordan’s position on that matter is very clear," she said.
Further, she told al-Jazeera that she is not a terrorist.
"Why am I, Ahlam, considered to be a terrorist, when I am part of a movement for freedom and liberation?" she asked. "I am part of a resistance movement that strives for liberation."
Tamimi’s interview was conducted on March 28 and aired on the al-Jazeera website. It was not aired on its TV channel.
The August 9, 2001 Sbarro bombing has also been referred to as the Sbarro massacre. The event left 15 civilians murdered, including seven children and a pregnant American woman, and 130 maimed.
Those killed included Malki Roth, 15, an American-Israeli citizen for whom the Malki Foundation is named; Giora Balash, 60, of Brazil; Zvika Golombek, 26, of Carmiel; Shoshana Yehudit Greenbaum, 31, of the US; Tehila Maoz, 18, of Jerusalem; Frieda Mendelsohn, 62, of Jerusalem; Michal Raziel, 16, of Jerusalem; Mordechai Schijveschuurder, 43, of Neria; Tzira Schijveschuurder, 41, of Neria; Ra'aya Schijveschuurder, 14, of Neria; Avraham Yitzhak Schijveschuurder, 4, of Neria; Hemda Schijveschuurder, 2, of Neria; Lily Shimashvili, 33, of Jerusalem; Tamara Shimashvili, 8, of Jerusalem; and Yocheved Shoshan, 10, of Jerusalem.
Hamas and the Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... grabbed credit for the attack.
Tamimi is currently wanted by the US government for conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction against US nationals abroad, and the FBI, which considers her to be armed and dangerous, has placed Tamimi on its list of most wanted snuffies and offers a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to her arrest or conviction.

Pudge appears to believe in his own divinity, but has yet to produce any loaves and fishes, so his subjects remain malnourished... ’s half brother was killed, a Malaysian court on Monday dropped the murder charge against the only suspect still in jug, and she pleaded guilty to a lesser offence and is expected to be released soon.
The move to reduce the charge against the Vietnamese woman, Doan Thi Huong, came three weeks after an even more stunning development in the case, when prosecutors unexpectedly dropped the murder charge against Huong’s Indonesian co-defendant and immediately freed her.
The two women had been the only suspects in jug after four North Korean suspects fled Malaysia following the killing of Kim Jong Nam in a Kuala Lumpur airport terminal on the morning of Feb 13, 2017.
Oh Ei Sun, a senior fellow with the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, said the decision not to charge the two women with murder likely marked the end of the case.
"This is pretty much the end as the real culprits are apparently hiding behind the veil of diplomatic immunity and state-sponsored sanctuary," Oh said.
Huong and the Indonesian woman, Siti Aisyah, have said they thought they were participating in a prank for a TV show and did not know they actually were taking part in a high-profile murder. The two were jugged Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please! and accused of smearing VX nerve agent on Kim’s face.
Kim was the eldest son in the current generation of North Korea’s ruling family. He had been living abroad for years but could have been seen as a threat to Kim Jong-un’s rule.

[Rudaw] Thousands of people poured out of Baghouz when Kurdish-led forces advanced on the last Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) holdout in eastern Syria. Fatigued, malnourished, and traumatized, many have been relocated to the vastly overcrowded al-Hol camp in Hasaka.
The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the defeat of ISIS in Baghouz on March 23 following months of fierce fighting ‐ frequently halted to allow civilians to escape the besieged town.
The mass exodus from the so-called ’caliphate’ swelled the population of al-Hol camp from 35,000 in February to more than 73,000. Many of them are the wives and children of ISIS bully boys. A significant number are from European and other western states, which have refused to take back their citizens.
Responding to the humanitarian emergency unfolding in al-Hol, the Syria Humanitarian Fund (SHF) ‐ backed by Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg, Canada, Spain, Switzerland ...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell... , Jersey, Iceland, Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... , and the UK ‐ announced Monday it was donating $4.3 million to aid agencies operating in the camp.
With basic infrastructure reduced to rubble and the ground littered with explosive remnants of war, former residents of Baghouz and Hajin could spend months or even years in al-Hol before they can return home.
"High-levels of explosive contamination are currently preventing safe return to these areas, while many women and kiddies face a disconcerting and uncertain future ahead of them," Fleischer said.

In his Tuesday address to a Security Council meeting on racism and xenophobia, Es’haq al-e Habib (seen below) urged serious dialogue to find a new means of fighting Islamophobia, hate and discrimination.
Al-e Habib criticized the international community’s failure to address the root causes of terror and racism, saying, "A global fight against such phenomena, with their abhorrent and evolving forms and manifestations, must be a matter of high priority at the national, regional and international levels."
Referring to the last month terror attacks in New Zealand, the Iranian diplomat said numerous people are falling victim to such assaults which are rooted in racism and supremacist ideology.

Well, I call for a global battle against Islam.
#5
phobia is an irrational fear of something. Given history and doctrine of conquest by any means, and the common practice of taqqiya and disinformation, fear of Islam and its spread hardly looks irrational.
In the same way every sane Western political leader should categorically reject the term 'islamophobia' since its use is no more and no less than a declaration of war on the essence of Western civilization.
Western reaction to Islamic aggression since 1979 however has been weak, indecisive and confused.
Western political elites have accepted the paradigms of the Islamic Brezhnev doctrines.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The French Foreign Ministry said Monday that the statement by the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation on the French intelligence’s involvement in preparations of a chemical provocation in Idlib was a lie.
"It is not information, but an outright lie which is habitual for this centre organised by the Russian and Syrian authorities," a front man for the ministry said.
Mr Kupchishin specified that the Belgian intelligence had been filming Arclight airstrikes on terrorist weapons caches in Idlib to later accuse Russia of using chemical substances.
On Friday, the head of the Russian Defence Ministry’s Center for Syrian Reconciliation, Maj. Gen. Viktor Kupchishin, said that Belgian and French intelligence officers had arrived in Idlib to hold a meeting with the field commanders of the terrorist groups of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham [banned in Russia] and Hurras al-Din, as well as with the representatives of the White Helmets organization.
This photo provided by the Syrian Civil Defense White Helmets, which has been authenticated based on its contents and other AP reporting, shows members of the Syrian Civil Defense group helping a maimed man after airstrikes hit Ghouta, a suburb of Damascus, Syria, Thursday, March. 1, 2018
The Idlib de-escalation zone now remains the last major stronghold of gunnies and armed rebels in Syria. In September 2018, ceasefire guarantors Russia and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...Qatar's colony in Asia Minor.... agreed to set up a 9 to 12-mile deep demilitarised zone in the province, which would be cleared of heavy weapons and murderous Moslems.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The infamous leader of the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS), His Supreme Immensity, Caliph of the Faithful and Galactic Overlord, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi ...the head of ISIS, or what remains of it, and a veteran of the Abu Graib jailhouse. Looks like a new messiah to bajillions of Moslems, like just another dead-eyed mass murder to the rest of us. So far he has been killed at least four times, though not yet by a stake through the heart... , is believed to be currently on the run between the borders of Syria and Iraq, a military source in Damascus told al-Masdar News this morning.
According to the military source, al-Baghdadi has been frequently changing his hideouts between Iraq’s al-Anbar Governorate, and Syria’s Homs and Deir Ezzor governorates.
The source said the Syrian and Iraqi intelligence wings are working closely to discover his whereabouts, but due to his constant movement through the vast desert region between Iraq and Syria, it has proven to be a difficult task.
He would add that al-Baghdadi is believed to be under the protection of several trusted bodyguards, including many of close confidants that were previously active in al-Anbar and Deir Ezzor.
Some rumors about al-Baghdadi have indicated that the terrorist leader has gained a significant amount of weight and altered his appearance so that he could evade capture by the Iraqi and Syrian security forces.
While his forces have lost nearly all of their territory in Syria and Iraq, al-Baghdadi and his comrades will likely continue to remain hidden in the Syrian Desert until the Islamic State can regroup and retake the ground they lost in the past year.
