[AlAhram] Egypt's interior ministry announced on Saturday in an official statement that it killed two other members of the cell involved in the attack that killed seven Coptic Christians south of Cairo in early November.
This comes as a continuation of the ministry's efforts to pursue those responsible for the attack, the statement said.
On 3 November, the ministry announced that it had killed 19 button men involved in a 2 November ambush where button men opened fire on two buses carrying Christians near the Monastery of St. Samuel the Confessor in Minya, some 260 km south of Cairo, killing seven and wounding 18 others. Six of those killed were of the same family.
Security forces tracked the faceless myrmidons to a hideout in a mountainous region west of Upper Egypt's Assiut governorate, near the area of Dashlout/Farafra, the ministry said.
The area was raided in coordination with the armed forces, and two bad boyz were potted in the attack.
Security forces found on site three automatic rifles, a large quantity of different caliber bullets, and living subsidies.
The forces also seized a vehicle that belonged to the faceless myrmidons and a mobile phone that belonged to one of the dear departed in the attack, Kamal Youssef Shehata.
The legal proceedings have begun and the Supreme State Security Prosecution is investigating the incident.

[IsraelTimes] Ahmed Salama was said to have denied involvement in West Bank land sales to Israelis, a capital offense under Paleostinian Authority law
A Paleostinian man killed in an Arab Israeli town over the weekend was involved in the sale of West Bank land to Jews, Paleostinian media reported Saturday.
Ahmed Salama, a resident of Jaljulia in central Israel, was shot Friday near his home and later pronounced dead at Meir Hospital in nearby Kfar Saba. Police have opened an investigation into the shooting.
Originally from the West Bank city of Qalqilya, Salama acquired residency in Israel through his marriage to an Arab Israeli woman, the Ynet news site said.
Citing an unnamed Paleostinian Authority source, Ynet reported Salama was wanted by the PA for selling land to Jewish settlers, which is punishable by death under the West Bank-based government’s penal code.
However, we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by... the law requires that PA President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas ... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial... approve any death sentence, and he has not signed off on any executions since 2006.
Salama had denied involvement in such land sales, according to Ynet, which said he has previously also been suspected in Israel of illegal arms dealing and was detained by police on Wednesday for unknown reasons before being released.

The liquidation of al-Miri comes just days after another high ranking jihadist commander was killed by an unknown group inside rural Idlib.
Since the latest round of peace talks in Astana, there has been an increase in liquidations of jihadist leaders, prompting some opposition activists to accuse the Syrian government forces of carrying out these attacks.
The Syrian government has not commented on these allegations.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Friday Arclight airstrikes of the US-led Coalition have completely destroyed a hospital in the Syrian city of Hajin in the eastern Deir ez-Zor province, Ikhbariya broadcaster reported.
SANA and the Ikhbariya broadcaster reported earlier on Friday that eight more non-combatants were killed in recent airstrikes on Hajin. All of the killed civilians were reportedly members of one family.
The US-led coalition regularly carries out airstrikes in eastern Deir ez-Zor province, and has recently been concentrating its air power on Hajin.
According to the Wednesday US-led Coalition blurb, all strikes were carried out near Hajin and destroyed supply routes, vehicles, fighting positions, as well as tunnels and buildings.
On Saturday, the SANA news agency reported that the coalition’s airstrikes hit the al-Buqa village near the town of Hajin in the province of Deir ez-Zor leaving 40 civilians dead.
The coalition’s front man Col. Sean Ryan told Sputnik that the coalition had conducted strikes in the area, which, however, did not result in any civilian casualties.
The coalition’s activities in Syria are authorized neither by the Syrian government, nor by the UN Security Council.

They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... ’s (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) de facto capital, Hajin, is on the verge of being captured by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) after a week of battle.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the Syrian Democratic Forces are now in control of 70 percent of Hajin, leaving the southern quarter of the town still occupied by the Islamic State.
While the SOHR alleges that the SDF controls 70 percent of Hajin, other reports from local activists indicate that the U.S.-backed troops control less than half the town.
Should the Islamic State lose Hajin in the coming days, they will themselves in a world of trouble, as they will no longer control any major town east of the Euphrates River.
For the Syrian Democratic Forces, the capture of Hajin would be a major victory against the Islamic State and it would allow them to free up a large number troops that are greatly needed in northern Syria.

[ALMASDARNEWS] For the second time on Saturday, the Salafist tough guys attempted to infiltrate the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions around the demilitarized zone in the Idlib and Hama provinces.
Led by Jaish al-Izza, the Salafist tough guys attempted to sneak past the Syrian Arab Army’s checkpoints near hilltop town of Tal Sakhar.
However, there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly... the Salafist tough guys of Jaish al-Izza were spotted by the Syrian Arab Army before they could infiltrate the latter’s lines at Tal Sakhar.
Using heavy machine guns and artillery shells, the Syrian Arab Army unleashed a powerful attack on the infiltrating myrmidons; this would result in heavy casualties for Jaish al-Izza.
The Syrian Arab Army managed to force the remaining Salafist tough guys to abort their mission and flee back to their lines in the demilitarized zone.
These type of attacks by the Salafist tough guys have become the norm in the demilitarized zone in the Idlib and Hama provinces.
In response to these attacks, the Syrian and Russian forces have begun using spy planes to identify myrmidon gathering points and movements around this large demilitarized in Idlib, Hama, Aleppo, and Latakia.
