Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – An Iraqi court has sentenced to death by hanging a deputy to Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi over his involvement in terrorist acts.
The convict, identified as Ismail al-Eithawy, had fled the country into Syria, then he escaped into Turkey following the defeat of Islamic State, where he was arrested, Iraqi website Al-Ekhbariya quoted spokesman for the Supreme Judicial Council Abdul-Sattar al-Birqdar as saying.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A Paleostinian teenager was rubbed out by Israeli fire in festivities near the border in southern Gazoo late on Wednesday, the health ministry in the enclave said.
The ministry said Mumin Abu Ayeda, 15, was shot along the heavily-guarded border east of Rafah in southern Gazoo.
The border between Gazoo and Israel has been the scene of weekly Paleostinian demonstrations since March 30 and recently, protests have taken place late at night, as was the case on Wednesday.
The Israeli military said earlier that during the day there had been several incidents along the Gazoo-Israel border. It said there were no Israeli casualties.
At least 182 Paleostinians have been killed in the protests, according to Paleostinian health officials.
There was no immediate confirmation from the Israeli Defense Forces, which has highlighted the often-violent nature of the demonstrations, labeling them riots.

[AlMasdar] It appears the new demilitarized zone agreement in Idlib has no affect over the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) troops in northern Latakia,
...which was not covered in Russia’s agreement...
as they carried out new strikes in northwest Syria.
The Syrian Arab Army launched a number of artillery shells and missiles towards the jihadist defenses in the northern Latakia and western Idlib this week, despite the fact a DMZ agreement was established by Russian Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... and his Ottoman Turkish counterpart Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey... in Sochi on Monday.
According to a military source in Latakia, the Syrian Army and their allies from the National Defense Forces (NDF) carried out these strikes in retaliation for the attack launched by the jihadist rebels on late Monday.
As shown in the video below, the Syrian Army rains artillery shells and missiles on the jihadist defenses around the Jabal al-Akrad region of Latakia and Jisr al-Shughour District of Idlib:

[IsraelTimes] Syrian soldiers reportedly locked away Book 'im, Mahmoud! in connection with downed spy plane; IAF commander to fly to Moscow to present the findings of Israel’s investigation into the incident
A munitions warehouse in a Syrian military facility appears to have been completely obliterated in an Israeli Arclight airstrike in the Syrian port city of Latakia late on Monday, satellite images released Wednesday show.
A Russian military reconnaissance plane was shot down by Syria during the Israeli strike, killing all 15 crew members.
On Wednesday Syria released video footage from the site of the attack, reiterating its claim that Israel targeted an aluminium factory, not a weapons warehouse in Monday’s strike, according to the Ynet news site. The veracity of the footage could not be independently verified.
On Monday, Syria accidentally shot down the Russian reconnaissance plane when its air defenses swung into action against the Israeli strike on Latakia. The Russian defense ministry initially blamed Israel, saying the IAF jets used the Russian plane as cover.
However, a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all... Russian President Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... later told news hounds that the downing of the plane by Syrian air defenses was a "chain of tragic accidental circumstances."
On Wednesday, the Russians approved Prime Minister Netanyahu’s proposal to fly air force commander Major General Amiram Norkin to Moscow to present the findings of Israel’s investigation into the incident.
Syrian media and opposition sources reported Wednesday that several Syrian soldiers who were involved in the downing of the Russian spy plane were arrested and interrogated.
The fighters from the air force base in Latakia were reportedly arrested by members of the Russian military police. A Syrian unit was also reported to have taken part in the arrest, according to Hadashot TV.
Meanwhile, ...back at the dirigible, the pilot and the copilot had both hit the silk.
Jack! Cynthia exclaimed. Do you know how to drive one of these things?
Jack wiped some of the blood from his knuckles.
No, he said. Do you?... the remains of another plane, a Boeing 747 aircraft that was destroyed in an earlier alleged Israeli strike at Damascus airport on Saturday, and believed to be in the use of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, can be seen in separate images provided by ImageSat International (ISI).

Are these 'fighters' real Syrians or Russians who operated the air defense system wearing Syrian uniforms?
