[Free Beacon] An election integrity group has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission following the release of undercover videos from James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), an Indiana-based group that litigates to protect election integrity, submitted the complaint Tuesday to the Office of the General Counsel at the FEC claiming that Hillary Clinton’s campaign committee and other left-wing groups may have violated campaign finance laws.
"This complaint is based on information and belief that respondents have engaged in public communications, campaign activity, targeted voter registration drives, and other targeted GOTV [get out the vote] activity under 11 C.F.R. 100.26 and 11 C.F.R. 114.4 at the request, direction, and approval of the Hillary for America campaign committee and the Democratic National Committee in violation of 11 C.F.R. 109.20 and 11 C.F.R. 114.4(d)(2) and (3)," the complaint states.
"Complainant’s information and belief is based on findings from an investigation conducted by Project Veritas Action and their published reports regarding the same, as well as on news sources."
"If the Commission, upon receiving a complaint ... has reason to believe that a person has committed, or is about to commit, a violation of [the FECA] ... [t]he Commission shall make an investigation of such alleged violation 52 U.S.C. § 30109(a)(2); see also 11 C.F.R. § 111.4(a)."
PILF argues that the groups within the videos‐which were caught on tape discussing possible voter fraud scenarios -have organized voter registration drives and other GOTV activities that could have potentially registered people who are not United States citizens.
Con't.

I'm surprised the Feebs didn't try to jail O'Keefe for some phony charge such as making a movie in his basement that set the M.E. on fire, taxes, using exotic woods, polluting, trespassing on govmint property, giving the finger to a TSA agent, inciting a riot, sending illegals back to Mexico or just plain pissing off Hillary.
[Breitbart] The Obama administration warns that Americans and journalists should be skeptical of material coming from James O'Keefe's Project Veritas.
During the White House press briefing, press secretary Josh Earnest warned that Americans and journalists should take Project Veritas videos "not just with a grain of salt but maybe even a whole package of salt."
"Despite what the name might suggest, these videos have not often revealed the truth," Earnest said, though he admitted that many Democrats had been forced out of their jobs as a result of O'Keefe's work.
Robert Creamer, a top Democratic operative featured in the video, stepped down from his position after he admitted in the video that he was actively trying to incite violence at opposing political rallies.
Earnest said that he was "reluctant" to comment on the videos themselves, but talked about the topic of "birddogging" opposing rallies.
In general, Earnest said, the notion of inciting violence in an opposing candidate's campaign was contrary to Obama's views of community organizing.

Bob Creamer and White House are telling us "don't believe your lying eyes?"
O'Keefe's outing of ACORN and the Baby Parts sellers opened some eyes and sent a few people to jail. I hope his work with Creamer and crew will do the same.

So Creamer admitted he was inciting, and quit, but Earnest still thinks the vids don't reflect the truth? He must be referring to the GoodTruth

The vids were convincing but one thing bothers me. Why would these two boneheads agree to be interviewed and then spill their guts. Just brass balls and hubris or just a case of Donks being emboldened by the de rigueur lawlessness these days?

Mr. O'Keefe never goes in as a reporter, JohnQC, but in a role where the discussions are part of a longer interaction. His first essay in the field was when he went to ACORN offices around the country in the role of a pimp with underage, illegal immigrant prostitutes looking for public money to finance the purchase of houses in which to conduct his business. He went to each of these appointments with an interestingly dressed young lady at his side. Staffers were almost uniformly non-judgemental, helpfully suggesting approaches and even wording to get the desired funding. As I recall, at one or two offices they did turn Mr. O'Keefe away, but there were enough videos, coming out every few days for what seemed ages, to create a scandal that bestirred Congress to act.
I believe in this case the reporters got themselves hired by these groups, or were volunteers, and they were asking questions and making suggestions as eager acolytes.

Eric Schmidt is making a list and he's sending it to the dems. The warning is not about the contents of the videos, it's about being on the viewership list.

Yes, these appear to have been recruiting pitches.

Actually Trumps bits about crooked elections from the debate dove tail well with this. Conservatives should post links to the video anytime someone laughs about crooked elections. If the MSM won't show it a lot of folks probably haven't seen the videos.
[Breitbart] On Wednesday morning’s Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM, former Secret Service officer Gary J. Byrne was asked to talk about the differences between Hillary Clinton and other protectees, such as her husband Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
"Hillary is just not approachable," he told SiriusXM host Alex Marlow. "The Hillary Clinton that they keep trying to modify and portray on TV ‐ and I’ll remind your audience, at least three times during this past year, you’ve seen her campaign put out, "Well, we're trying to make her look a little bit more pleasant," or "It's Hillary 2.0." The real Hillary Clinton is the one I talk about in my book, Crisis of Character. She's cold, she's distant. According to the FBI Director a couple of months ago, she's completely incompetent and reckless." Excellent book by the way. Contains a lot more than the HRC issues.

She's cold, she's distant
She is clearly on the introverted side, rather than extroverted like her husband, and believes anyone not in her social circle has lesser value. But my takeaway from other descriptions is that it's when she's hot and immediate -- screaming, throwing things, threatening livelihoods -- that staff worry about. Cold and distant is merely an unpleasant relief from being the target of her ire.

Her eyes may say cold and distant, but in her mind she has already killed you twice.
I don't know who does her make-up, but should win an award. She had enough silicon foundation and cheek padding to give her resting smug face rather than her usual resting bitch face.
[truepundit] According to Pentagon sources, the information Clinton disseminated publicly is Top Secret intelligence governed under the U.S. Special Access Program (SAP) which dictates safeguards and protocols for accessing and discussing highly classified and Top Secret intelligence. The specific details of the country's nuclear response time discussed by Clinton, sources said, are only known by a handful of individuals outside top military brass, including the following "need-to-know" (NTK) officials:

the info Hil gave out may be TS/SAP but she'll probably say she 'didn't mean to give out the info' and also that other countries probably have a good guess about this
That will be good enough for Comey

If she trafficked in Special Access Progam (SAP) materials, was she 'read-on' to those programs? Were any of her staff 'read-on' to the programs? Such lists are maintained by SAP Managers. Are any of the those names (read-on dates/read-off dates/administrative read-off) found on the access rosters ?
If NOT, then this too is a violation of regulations and the law.

Unbelievable, nothing seems to be capable of stopping our presumptive Imperial Empress. Every check planned in the Constitution was based on the integrity and courage of the other branches of government to hold each other accountable. That presumption now fails since fear, retribution, and success now depend on the largess of the Rulers. That Executive Orders now carry the full force of law apparently, and Congress has no ability to restrain the spending or impeach miscreants, we are entering the brief Imperial era of America before she fails. Look for more bread and circus distractions as the last pillage of public treasuries ends with failed currency inflation in the not distant future...not a happy few weeks as we anticipate the ugly, ugly mess that follows the November ballot. In the off chance Trump pulls this out, it will still be a gigantic sh*t storm....
I've been dealing with this one all day...and as much as it pains me to say it, Malificent has done no wrong here. The 'four minutes' has been known publicly since the early 80s at least - a very good documentary done at the time (IIRC by ABC, and it was done with the cooperation of the USAF and Strategic Air Command) stated it plainly, and it has been in open-source documents before and since. It was a commonly known detail when I was in SAC and throughout the rest of my 20 years in the USAF.
Malificent has a great many things to answer for, but the bottom line is this isn't one of them.

@#10: Sorry Mike, but anyone who, as implied, got out of SAC without either retiring or otherwise taking "permanent leave" is either a magician or someone whose veracity must be questioned. ;)

Blossom,
Lord knows I tried to stay, but the commanding officer, 8 TFW, requested my presence after 6 years with the Armored Hand. :)

[FREEBEACON] North Carolina Democrat Deborah Ross will attend a Tuesday night fundraiser at the home of the lawyer who represented one of the five Taliban Death Eaters who were released from Guantanamo Bay in exchange for U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in 2014.
The Winston-Salem, North Carolina, fundraiser will be held at the home of Robert Elliot, a local lawyer who represented numerous Guantanamo Bay detainees and got many of them released.
One of the inmates he represented but failed to get released was Khairullah Khairkhwa, a former Taliban official who, along with four others, was released to Afghanistan by the B.O. regime in 2014.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
