[Breitbart] Chicago had its first warm weather of the year over the March 6 weekend, but as that warm weather returned, so did the violence, shootings, and death. Chicago police reported that 2 stabbings and 15 shootings occurred in their warming city; three died as a result. Please disregard - The real news was found at the Edmund Pettus Bridge the carries U.S. Route 80 across the Alabama River in Selma, Alabama. As in 1965, none the marchers on Sunday were killed or seriously injured.

Gesundheit to you too.
Gnadenhutten was founded as a settlement of German Americans and Lenape Native Americans. From Wiki Seems they had plenty of diversity in those days too. Climate change too. Looks like shootings too according to Anguper Hupomosing9418. A Monravian settlement ahead of its time. Sounds like it was left-leaning too.
A southwest Florida man put his dead neighbor in the bed of his pickup truck and drove to his lawyer's office claiming he'd killed the man in self-defense.
Attorney Robert Harris told the News-Press of Fort Myers that 52-year-old John Marshall showed up around 4 p.m. Wednesday, saying he didn't know who else to trust. The other voices in his head included.
Attorneys called 911 and Marshall spent hours at Harris' office before finally leaving for the hospital around 10:30 p.m. He had a swollen lip, missing tooth and what appeared to be two broken thumbs.
According to Harris, Marshall wrestled a gun away from his neighbor and fatally shot him earlier Wednesday. The two men had apparently been in a dispute over property work.
Lee County Sheriff's deputies declined to say whether Marshall would be arrested.
[Dhaka Tribune] The government has decided to expel a North Korean diplomat who was caught trying to smuggle 27kg gold into the country.
"We will expel him. The process of taking action regarding the crime committed by the North Korean diplomat has started," said a senior Foreign Ministry official, adding that the process would take a few days.
The first economic and commercial secretary of the North Korean embassy in Dhaka, Son Yong Nam, was detained and later released by customs police on Friday. He enjoys diplomatic immunity under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
"This is a rare event and a government can take one of three actions against the offender," the official said.
A host government, with the approval of the sending country, can take legal action against an offending diplomat, declare him persona non grata, or expel him by asking the sending government to withdraw its envoy.
"We will be asking the North Korean government to withdraw him," he said.
"I am not aware of any extra surveillance [for the diplomat]," the official said, adding that until the issue is resolved, the diplomat is expected to remain in the country.

[Iran Press TV] A sixth suspect in the recent killing of high-profile Russian opposition figure Boris Nemtsov has blown himself up following a standoff with police in the Chechen Republic, report says.
Beslan Shavanov went kaboom! after throwing a grenade at police forces who had come to arrest him in the capital city of the Chechen Republic, Grozny, on Saturday, state-run news channel Russia 24 reported on Sunday.
According to CNN, the report emerged as Russian authorities announced five other arrests related to the Nemtsov killing.
Meanwhile, ...back at the shouting match, a new, even louder, voice was to be heard... Zaur Dadayev, a former deputy commander for the Chechen police, admitted to his role in Nemtsov's murder after a Russian court indicted him and Anzor Gubashev, who worked for a private security company in the Russian capital, Moscow.
"The participation of Dadayev is confirmed by his confession," said presiding judge, Nataliya Mushnikova.
Gubashev has denied any manner of involvement in the case

[Hurriyet Daily News] A Russian court on March 8 charged two men with the murder of opposition activist Boris Nemtsov, including an ex-police officer from Chechnya who confessed to his involvement in the brazen liquidation.
Five suspects appeared in a court in central Moscow a little over a week after Nemtsov, a longtime critic of President Vladimir Putin ...Second and fourth President and sixth of the Russian Federation and the first to remain sober. Putin is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from polonium poisoning. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to Putin. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead... , was shot four times in the back as he strolled with his girlfriend along a bridge in full view of the Kremlin.
Court spokeswoman Anna Fadeyeva told the RIA Novosti news agency that three of the men who were not charged were only considered suspects at this stage. All five were remanded in jug.
Zaur Dadayev, a former deputy commander for the Chechen police, and Anzor Gubashev, who worked for a private security company in Moscow, were placed in durance vile Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please! on Saturday in the republic of Ingushetia, which neighbours Chechnya.
They were both charged with murder but Gubashev denied involvement.
"The participation of Dadayev is confirmed by his confession," said presiding judge Nataliya Mushnikova.
However no information has emerged as to the possible motive the men could have had in killing the charismatic opposition leader.
His allies believe his liquidation was a hit ordered by the top levels of government determined to silence dissenters. The allegation has been strenuously denied.
On Sunday the Investigative Committee announced three further arrests in the case: Gubashev's younger brother Shagid, Ramsat Bakhayev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, who news agencies reported had also been arrested in Ingushetia. Yes, it is time to assassinate the assassins. Please make the appropriate notifications.
The men are all from the volatile northern Caucasus region where Russia has fought two devastating wars against Chechen rebels and where security forces continue to clash with Islamist Death Eaters.

[Iran Press TV] Bulgarians have held a protest rally to express their anger at military operations conducted by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions... ) in the East European country.
On Sunday, demonstrators erupted into the streets of the capital city of Sofia to call on NATO to leave Bulgaria, which joined the Western military alliance in March 2004.
They were holding banners reading, "Barbaric American bases -- out of Bulgaria! STOP the killing" and "Stop the occupation and colonial administration - NATO out of Bulgaria - the future is in sovereign countries."
In an address to the rally, Yane Ivanov, the protest leader, said, "Unfortunately, Bulgaria at the moment is being ruled by this criminal institution -- NATO."
The march came after five NATO patrol ships entered the eastern Bulgarian port of Varna as part of a joint training exercise with Bulgaria, The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... and Romania.
Bulgarians also marched in Sofia last month to condemn a government plan to install a NATO military command base inside the country.
Notice that the IranPressTV journalist never mentions the size of the protesting crowd. I'm betting between five and fifteen speakers of truth to power.

[WASHINGTONPOST] For a while -- a very short while -- it looked as if the American flag had seen its last days on the campus of the University of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, at Irvine.
On March 3, the Associated Students of the University of California passed a resolution that would ban national flags from the lobby and offices of student government, according to a statment posted on UCI News.
Penned by Matthew Guevara, a student in the school of social ecology, the resolution stated: "Designing a culturally inclusive space aims to remove barriers that create undue effort and separation by planning and designing spaces that enable everyone to participate equally and confidentially."
"The American flag has been flown in instances of colonialism and imperialism," the resolution continued. "Flags not only serve as symbols of patriotism or weapons for nationalism, but also construct cultural mythologies and narratives that in turn charge nationalistic sentiments."
The resolution noted that in certain spaces "freedom of speech" can be interpreted as "hate speech."
The measure passed with a 6 to 4 vote in the student legislative council that included two abstentions, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The ban didn't last long.
Four days after its birth, the radical push to remove national symbols from student government facilities was dead. On Saturday, student leaders vetoed the resolution, according to the Times.
"This misguided legislation was not endorsed or supported in any way by the campus leadership, the University of California, or the broader student body," the ASUCI executive cabinet said in the statement posted on UCI News. "The views of a handful of students passing a resolution do not represent the opinions of the nearly 30,000 students on this campus, and have no influence on the policies and practices of the university."
The American flag had hung on a wall in the student government suite, according to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named. Recently, the AP reported, someone placed it on the desk of Reza Zomorrodian, council president and head of the executive cabinet, "with an anonymous note saying it shouldn't be in the lobby."
On Friday, state Sen. Janet Nguyen (R-Santa Ana) told the AP that politicians may introduce a state constitutional amendment prohibiting "state-funded universities and college campuses from banning the United States flag."
The resolution also sparked outrage among some military veterans and students, the Times reported. UCI junior Daniel La, 21, told the Times that he didn't think the vote was "representative of the school."
"There's a lot of students that aren't happy about it," he said. "I don't personally agree with it either."

"The American flag has been flown in instances of colonialism and imperialism" Reads like a slogan off the Communist Party USA website. More likely America is being colonized by Mexico, California is being colonized by the radical left liberals, Washington by Islamics and crooked pols, etc. I can't think of any time in our history that the U.S. has colonized anyone.

I remember, only a relative short time ago, the Irvine Ranch was a beautiful area of farming and ranching that broke up the drive between Lost Angles and Sandy Eggo.
The dotter went there. Cost us about 100K altogether. (sob)

They do things with a kind of weird and sick twist.
[Hurriyet Daily News] Police charged 18 people March 8 after a frenzied mob stormed a prison and lynched a rape suspect in India's northeast, in an act of vigilante justice condemned by rights groups and politicians.
Police placed in durance vile You have the right to remain silent... the men for rioting in Nagaland state, but it was unclear if they were directly involved in stripping and beating to death Syed Farid Khan, whose body was then strung up to a clock tower on Thursday.
Tensions had been rising in Dimapur city ahead of the incident after Bengali-speaking Khan was arrested on February 24 for allegedly raping a 19-year-old tribal woman multiple times.
"So far we have arrested 18 people for rioting and unlawful assembly," Inspector General of Police, Wabang Jamir, told AFP.
"We are now verifying if besides being part of the mob they were also directly involved in the lynching," Jamir said by phone from Dimapur, 1,660 kilometres (1,030 miles) east of New Delhi.
