[IRISHTIMES] A curfew was imposed yesterday in a small town in India's northeastern Nagaland state, bordering Myanmar, after a mob stormed a prison, dragged away an alleged rapist and publicly lynched him.
Police said more than 4,000 people overpowered guards at the Dimapur jail more than 2,000km from New Delhi early on Thursday afternoon and seized Farid Khan (35), locked away You have the right to remain silent... for allegedly raping a local college girl on February 24th.
The mob stripped the immigrant from neighbouring Bangladesh and dragged him 7km through the streets to the town's landmark clock tower. Having beaten him along the way, they then hung his body from the tower.
When police later tried to remove the body, the crowd pelted them with stones and burnt some of their vehicles.
Burning shops The crowd then retreated to a nearby market place and set about burning shops and houses belonging to Bangladeshi immigrant traders, many of whom had settled illegally in Dimapur decades earlier.
There is an enduring animosity against these migrants, who locals blame not only for taking away jobs and appropriating land, but accuse of cornering all trading activity.
"The situation is tense and we are making all-out efforts to restore normality," Dimapur magistrate Wezope Kenye said.
"We have clamped a curfew in Dimapur district to contain the law and order situation following the unfortunate incident," he said.
The police, he added, had used tear gas to try to prevent the mob from storming the jail, but failed to do so.
Nagaland chief minister TR Zeiling appealed to all media organizations to refrain from using images of the lynching, in a bid to "mitigate" the possible ramifications of the incident and bring about calm.
The largely tribal "Nagas" -- as the state's people are called -- are an intensely proud people and fiercely protective of women.

Guarantee they loose sleep over there at the WH or Selma Alabama or wherever they are tonight !
WHY ?
It’s time to “spring forward.”
Before you go to bed tonight, or as soon as you get up Sunday morning, turn your clocks ahead one hour.
Daylight Saving Time goes into effect at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, March 8. The hour you gained for sleep last fall becomes the hour you lose this weekend.

Don't be a sheeple George, it'S a time tax, TPTB are getting us used to 2 hours a year, soon it will be two hours a month. The Power Elite exempt themselves by flying all over everywhere leaving poison ch3m trails in their wake, for them it's BAU. But when TEOTWAWKI arrives I will laugh in all their faces, since I have had the foresight to amass a great big pile of leaves, four long sticks and two cases of Vienna Sausages. I will get water from the hose.
[IraqiNews.com] The Chinese military budget for 2015 will be about 10 percent bigger than last year's, a senior Chinese official said on Wednesday, meaning that such spending is growing at a pace faster than the overall growth rate of the Chinese economy.
The estimate was given in Beijing by Fu Ying, a veteran diplomat who is the spokeswoman for the National People's Congress, China's legislature, whose annual meeting begins this week. Ms. Fu said at a news conference that the military budget's precise numbers would be announced Thursday, along with other budget outlays that will later be formally approved by the legislature.
A 10 percent increase would put the 2015 military budget around $145 billion, making China the world's second-largest military spender, though still far behind the United States, which spends more on its armed forces than the next eight countries combined.

[CAMPUSREFORM.ORG] The Associated Students of University of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, Irvine (ASUCI) voted Tuesday to remove all flags, including American flags, from an inclusive space on campus because of their offensive nature.
Betcha they find a way to exempt the PLO flag...
The bill, R50-70, was authored by Social Ecology Representative Matthew Guevara, and accuses all flags, especially, the American flag, of being "symbols of patriotism or weapons for nationalism."
"[F]lags construct paradigms of conformity and sets [sic] homogenized standards for others to obtain which in this country typically are idolized as freedom, equality, and democracy," the bill reads.
The legislation argues that flags may be interpreted differently; the American flag, for example, can represent "American exceptionalism and superiority," as well as oppression.
"[T]he American flag has been flown in instances of colonialism and imperialism," the bill continues, arguing that "symbolism has negative and positive aspects that are interpreted differently by individuals."
The anti-flag hanging bill adds that free speech, such as flags in inclusive spaces, can be interpreted as hate speech.
"[F]reedom of speech, in a space that aims to be as inclusive as possible[,] can be interpreted as hate speech," the bill reads.
"Let it be resolved that ASUCI make every effort to make the Associated Students main lobby space as inclusive as possible."

Clearly this would not had happened iff the Mexican, Canadian, + Greenland flags, + NOT a few Soon-to-be-Nuclear NGOS e.g. ISIS + Al-Nusra, were flown next to Amerika's in righteous OWG NAU indignation = glory.

Please lift the veil which has descended in front of your eyes, this is the action of a subversive organization known to most of you by another name. Read between the lines. YCLUSA's Irvine Branch of SCYCL gains a victory, we will see if this continues and spreads through the other associations though out the USA.

Thank you g(r)omgoru, but a my late father used to say "When you see a communist movement call it out, don't give them a free pass". His feelings about this might have come from having lived under CCCP/USSR control for 25 years.
By the way g(r)omgoru - your nim is it a word play on "Thunder Mountain" in Russian ?

I wish I had the time and money to enroll as a student and the declare that everything in their inclusive space was offensive to ME. Then when they didn't remove it, I would sue. I mean everything -the floors, the walls, everything. See how they like it.

[SputnikNews] At a presentation for journalists in Kazan on Wednesday, Russian radio-electronics firm Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern (KRET) announced that it is handing over the first batch of a new helicopter-mounted electronic warfare system known as the 'Richag-AV' to the armed forces.
The Richag-AV system, mounted on the Mi-8MTPR1 (a variant of the Mi-8MTB5-1 helicopter) is said to have no global equivalent. Its electronic countermeasures system is designed to jam radar, sonar and other detection systems in the aims of defending aircraft, helicopters, drones, ground and naval forces against air-to-air and surface-to-air defense systems within a radius of several hundred kilometers. It can be mounted on units from any branch of the armed forces, including helicopters and airplanes, as well as ground and ship-based forces.
The Mi8-MTPR1-based Richag-AV platform, using multi-beam antenna arrays with DRFM technology, is designed to actively jam and thus 'blind' radar systems in order to defend against radio-electronic guided weapons systems. In a combat situation, the system would operate as part of an aviation shock attack group aimed at breaking through virtually any defense system, blinding everything up to and including the US MIM-104 'Patriot' anti-aircraft missile system. Maybe gives some credence to the USS Donald Cook rumors

...If it can be mounted on a helo, it's not gonna jam AEGIS. And the nice people at KRET seem to be unaware of a concept that's been bouncing around for a decade or four now.
It's called, 'home on jam'.

Yean, Mike, I was reading this and thinking "you know, squirting a Standard ARM at this" would pretty much deal with it. Maybe the Hip chopper is supposed to invulnerable to tungsten pellets...

And it's all powered by small amounts of Handwavium. Not to be confused with smoke and mirrors.
[Breitbart] In response to the ATF's determined march toward banning the M855 round for law-abiding citizens, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) has introduced legislation to eliminate the ATF altogether.
Sensenbrenner's bill is titled the ATF Elimination Act.
According to The Hill, Sensenbrenner says the ATF as a "scandal-ridden" agency "that lacks a clear mission." He describes it as a "largely duplicative agency" and suggests the agency's role on "guns, explosives, and violent crime" could be carried out the FBI. He believes the agency's work on alcohol and tobacco could be transferred to the DEA.
He said the ATF's attempt to ban the M855 round is "an affront to the Second Amendment and yet another reason" Congress should disband the agency. Sensenbrenner's bill would give the ATF director "180 days... to submit a plan to Congress on how to wind down the agency."
Representative John Conyers (D-MI) first proposed disbanding the ATF in 1993.

Sunset every agency every year. Have a reauthorization "death penalty" based on "You made too big a splash / didn't keep your head down / didn't keep your budget down last year." Bureaucracy is not allowed to lobby. No bureaucrat musical chairs agency to agency transfers.

I'm for all bills having a constitutional sunset expiration of 5 years. 10 if passed by 2/3rds of both house.
If the law was good, it will get renewed. Otherwise lawmakers can let it die.
Keep Obamacare and all these stupid agencies from living on indefinitely.
