Taleban terrorists militants attacked a foreign compound in Kabul on Saturday, killing two employees in the latest terrorist strike to hit the Afghan capital during the final weeks of Nato's 13-year war against the insurgents.
"One Afghan and one foreigner, both working for a foreign organisation, were killed," Hashmat Stanakzai, Kabul police spokesman, said as elite commandos cleared the site in west Kabul after three hours of fighting.
"Three terrorists suicide bombers targeted this building," he said. "The Afghan security forces quickly reached the site of the attack, and started operations against the terrorists them.
"Fighting was over after three hours, with all three terrorists militants killed. Six people were rescued."
Government officials said that the compound, near the Afghan parliament, was used by a small foreign relief organisation.
Taleban terrorist spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid claimed on Twitter that it was a secret Christian missionary and that a meeting of Australian visitors had been hit.
"A spate of deadly terrorist martyrdom attacks have rocked important enemy targets in recent days," Mujahid added.
Saturday's attack came two days after the Taleban struck at another foreign guesthouse, wounding a guard, and a suicide bomber targeted a British embassy vehicle in a blast that killed six people.

[AnNahar] A Kenyan policeman was rubbed out and another seriously maimed in a new attack by suspected Shabaab bandidosmurderous Moslems in northeastern Kenya on Saturday, police said.
The shooting, which occurred near the Dadaab refugee camp, came a week after the al-Qaeda-affiliated Somali rebels executed 28 civilians in the far northeast.
"The attackers were on foot, and trailed the officers for about 100 meters (yards) before firing at them at a close range," regional police official Musa Yego said.
He said the attackers were thought to be Shabaab members or sympathizers, adding they disappeared into a refugee camp.
Last Saturday the Shabaab seized a bus heading from the far northeastern border town of Mandera for the capital Nairobi, executing 28 non-Moslem passengers in what they said was Dire Revenge for police raids on mosques in the troubled port of Mombasa.

[AnNahar] Al-Qaeda has claimed it detonated two bombs outside the U.S. embassy in Sanaa, killing several guards, a U.S.-based monitoring group said on Saturday.
In a message on Twitter, al-Qaeda's media branch said its fighters set off the bombs at an entrance to the embassy on Thursday night, according to SITE Intelligence Group.
There has been no announcement by U.S. authorities of any attack, and American officials could not immediately be reached for comment on the claim.
The announcement comes three weeks after al-Qaeda said it had tried to assassinate U.S. Ambassador Matthew Tueller with two bombs that were discovered minutes before they were to explode.
The devices had been planted outside the house of Yemeni President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi and had been intended to explode when Tueller left after a visit there on September 8, al-Qaeda said.

The attack came one week after a Danish citizen was shot and maimed in the kingdom's capital, a rare incident which has not been explained.
Police in Eastern Province said the Canadian was attacked with "a sharp object" while he shopped at a mall in the Gulf coast community of Dhahran.
"The authorities immediately rushed to the scene and incarcerated Into the paddy wagon wit' yez! the perpetrator, a Saudi national," police said, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.

[NY Times] The police in Xinjiang, the volatile region of western China, rubbed out 11 members of a gang who killed four people and maimed 14 in an attack on a street lined with restaurants and food stalls, official Chinese media said Saturday.
The assailants drove to the site of the attack in Shache County on Friday afternoon, then lobbed explosives into the street and slashed people, said Xinhua, the official news agency, citing Xinjiang government officials. Police officers on patrol nearby shot the attackers, Xinhua said, and recovered detonation devices, broadswords and hatchets at the scene. The report did not say if any of the attackers survived.
The Xinhua report called the perpetrators "thugs" and did not remark on their motives or describe their ethnicity, noting that the authorities were still investigating the attack. But almost invariably the Chinese government has ascribed similar attacks in the past to ethnic Uighur separatists and Islamic holy warriors seeking to turn Xinjiang into an independent homeland.
Advocates of Uighur self-determination, however, have said the Chinese Communist Party's own policies that repress Uighur religious life and autonomy have exacerbated tensions between Uighurs and the Han majority. More than 400 people have been killed in unrest across Xinjiang over the last year, many by members of the security forces.

Unknown assailants gunned down senior JUI-F leader and former senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro in Sukkur on Saturday. The early morning attack took place when Soomro, who was the secretary-general for the Sindh chapter of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl), was leaving a mosque after offering Fajr prayers.
The assailants, four in number, entered the area in a white car. Targeting only Dr Khalid Soomro, one of them sprayed bullets on him from a Kalashnikov, city police chief Sohail told reporters. Dr Soomro was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries before any medical assistance could be provided to him.
Soomro was in Sukkur to participate in a conference when the attack took place in the Khosa Goth area. He had also scheduled Nikah ceremony of his son later in the afternoon.
Dr Soomro, who held important positions in his party, hailed from Sindh's Larkana region. He leaves behind a wife, six sons and three daughters.
Dr Soomro had survived three earlier attempts while JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has escaped attacks on him in the recent years.
Following the assassination of Soomro, the JUI-F chief said the murder of his party's secretary-general was an act of terrorism.
"The government should order and ensure a thorough investigation into the attack and punish those responsible," Fazl said.
The assassination was also condemned by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as well as Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain.
Police have prepared a report which revealed that the assailants arrived in three cars and entered from the back gate. Witnesses at the scene have been questioned and police have recorded their statements.
It is not yet known whether Dr Soomro had been receiving threats or if he had any enmity with any persons.

Well, if any doctors want to avenge their executed comrades, it should be pretty easy to introduce fatal elements into the treatment off the injured Orcs.

They are some executing fools. It's great to know that their approval rate in America is 20%. It has been popular since the 60s to try to find common ground with people that you disagree with. If there is, perchance, any common ground held between myself and that 20%, I would like that ground bulldozed and razed with gasoline.

YPG, YPJ forces were energized even more yesterday by the attack from Turkish soil. It is reported that Kurdish forces responded by killing more ISIS terrorists and expanding the front line positions than in any day since the battles began in the Kobane area. 83 terrorists killed on the Southern, Eastern fronts with various areas liberated.
Areas controlled by Kurds several kilometers outside of Kobane were expanded.
The continued alliance between Turkey and the ISIS terrorists will add justification to defensive measures taken by Kurdish forces against Turkey who is offereing aid and comfort to radical Islamic Jihadists.
It is highly recommended that the West responds with additional support of the Kurdish forces as they continue their WOT against the ISIS and terrorist network in that part of the world. And to isolate Turkey for state sponsored terrorism.
- Australian F18 Super Hornet using night vision during the past two weeks discovered an ISIS cave network in the mountains at Kirkuk. An allied response to that intelligence resulted in 100 ISIS terrorists killed and the cave network destroyed, 44 targets on site hit by air strikes. Kurdish ground forces supported the strike with a ground cleanup sweep of the area.
- Australia also delivered weapons, ammunition, and 32 tons of blankets, tents, food and water to civilians at Mount Sinjar in the past week.

Due to the leadership of Turkey's alliance with the terrorist group ISIS, Syrian Kurds are now openly recognizing the Turkish Kurdish force PKK as an allie. The PKK is considered by the West a terrorist organization, however their argument that they are not a terrorist organization and that Turkey is supporting ISIS has brought Kurdish forces across the region into a closer alliance during the past 24 hours.
This could prove significant as Kurdish forces on both side of the Syrian/Turkey border may deem it necessary to militarily counter the Turkish/ISIS military/forces on the Kurdistan region.

(IS) group fighters Saturday in Ramadi, where a fierce jihadist offensive threatens one of the last pockets in Anbar province still under government control.
"Fierce fighting pitting security forces and tribal units against IS is taking place in the al-Hoz, Muallimin and Bakr neighborhoods," a police major told Agence La Belle France-Presse.
"The festivities have been going on for several hours," he said, without specifying how many casualties the violence had claimed.
Al-Hoz district, in the south of the Anbar picturesque provincial capital, fell to IS during the past week of fighting in Ramadi, a large city on the Euphrates 100 kilometers (60 miles) west of Baghdad.
Sheikh Omar al-Alwani, the leader of one of the Sunni tribes opposing the jihadists and fighting alongside the government in Anbar, said slow military progress was being made.
"The army and tribal fighters are advancing slowly in al-Hoz today. They control the entrances to the neighborhood," he told AFP by phone.
"There are many booby-traps and we don't have a bomb disposal unit with us so we can only take position in a house once we have tossed a hand grenade in it to see if it is rigged with explosives," he explained.
"If the army stays with us, we can claim back the entire neighborhood soon," he said, adding that Iraqi air raids had destroyed IS sniper positions and armored vehicles on Saturday.
Police and army officers said that a partial curfew was in place in Ramadi and that reinforcements had been deployed to protect the main government compound in the city.
Parts of Ramadi and all of Fallujah, ... the City of Mosques, which might have somthing to do with why it's not called Center of Prosperity or a really nice place to raise your kids... to its east, have been outside government control since the beginning of the year, but much more of Anbar province has since been seized by IS, which spearheaded a sweeping June offensive that overran swathes of Iraq.

[IsraelTimes] IDF soldiers fired on a Paleostinian on Saturday after he approached the border fence in the northern Gazoo Strip. Paleostinian reports said the 16-year-old was at death's door.
"Nice 'response', Avi."
"Thanks David."
According to a report by the Ynet news site, the soldiers fired at the teen's legs after he didn't respond to calls to stop and identify himself.
The IDF spokesperson's unit said that earlier on Saturday three Paleostinians approached the security fence in the northern Gazoo Strip. The troops fired warning shots but the suspects refused to comply, so the soldiers fired at the lower extremities of one Paleostinian, confirming a hit.
On Friday night, Israeli troops shot a Paleostinian man in his 20s who approached the border fence near the town of Jabaliya, the Paleostinian Ma'an News agency reported.
Two Abu Sayyaf terrorists and an Indonesian militant were convicted by a court in Manila for their role in a bombing at a shopping center in General Santos in 2002 that killed at least 14 people.
The judge ruled that Abu Sayyaf militants Ahmad Jekeron, Yacob Basug and Jul Kifli from Indonesia were guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in the April 21, 2002 bombing.
Before the bombing, a member of the al-Harakatul al-Islamiyah group or Abu Sayyaf, called up a station and warned that explosions would occur that day.
A former Abu Sayyaf militant and key witness, Abu Hamdie, said the bombing was the first joint attack by the Abu Sayyaf and Jemaah Islamiyah.
[Bangkok Post] A high school student was killed and a second is in critical condition in hospital after they were attacked by gunmen while riding home on a motorcycle in Pattani province on Thursday evening. The slain 17-year-old was the son of a local policeman. They were attacked by two men on a motorcycle while returning home from school in Yaring district on Thursday evening.
Police suspect insurgent involvement in the murder, which followed the provincial court’s ruling on Thursday sentencing five militants to death for gunning down four soldiers and seriously injuring two others in an attack in July 2012.
Four ISIS militants blew themselves up in Kobani and at least 30 people were killed in clashes across the town, a monitoring group and local officials said.
Turkey's main Kurdish party accused the government of turning a blind eye to ISIS militants on its soil on Saturday after suicide bombers attacked the Syrian border town of Kobani, one of them using a car that had apparently come from Turkey.
Four ISIS militants blew themselves up in Kobani, one detonating a car bomb at the Mursitpinar border crossing. At least 30 people were killed in clashes across the town, a monitoring group and local officials said.
Kurdish militia have been holding off ISIS fighters for more than two months in the town, known as Ayn Al Arab in Arabic. Neither side has gained a decisive advantage despite US-led air strikes meant to push back the insurgents.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the vehicle used in the dawn car bombing had come from Turkish territory. A second bomber detonated an explosive vest in the same area, before two more suicide attacks hit the southwestern edge of the town, it said.
Idris Nassan, a Kurdish official in Kobani, said ISIS snipers were hiding among grain depots on the Turkish side of the border and firing on the town.
Turkey's pro-Kurdish HDP also said the militants were using state grain storage facilities as a base and described their presence in an area patrolled by Turkish security forces as a "scandal".
"As we have been pointing out for months, this once more proves that ISIS is being supported (from within Turkey)," the HDP said in a statement.
Turkey has vehemently denied supporting the militants, saying they are also a threat to its own national security.
A Turkish official had no immediate information on the attacks and Reuters could obtain no independent confirmation of the HDP's accusation that ISIS fighters were firing from Turkish soil.
Ankara has refused to take a frontline role in US-led action against ISIS, fearing it could strengthen Syrian President Bashar Al Assad's forces or Kurdish militias, both of which it sees as a threat. The stance has infuriated Turkey's Kurds, prompting violent protests in October in which around 40 people were killed.
The Observatory said clashes broke out across Kobani on Saturday. It said ISIS fighters fired at least 110 shells and were bringing in tanks. Two air strikes had targeted ISIS positions to the east, it said. At least 30 fighters were killed, said Rami Abdulrahman, the Observatory's director. Twenty-one were ISIS fighters, including the four bombers. The rest were Kurdish forces.
