A Clay County teen spoke out Thursday against a teacher who she said made offensive comments regarding Muslims and terrorism.
Ferzana Rajpoot, whose parents were born in Pakistan, said that at one point in class her teacher referred to all Muslims as terrorists. According to the 16-year-old student, the comments came during an extra credit psychology class last week at Orange Park High School.
Rajpoot said she knows the teacher well and had respect for him, but that has changed after what she said the teacher told the class. Now, she refuses to return to the teacher's classroom. "I should be there right now actually, but I dont want to be in that classroom," Rajpoot said.
She said the teacher made the comments as he talked about why he favored a certain presidential candidate. "'(He'd) keep all Muslim terrorists out the United States.' So, of course me being a young Muslim, I was like, 'Are all Muslims considered terrorists now?'" He said, 'Yes, they are,'" said Rajpoot. "I calmly tried to explain that not all Muslims are terrorists, we're not planning out a jihad or anything, and he just told me I don't know anything, I'm wrong and to sit down."
The district official who oversees the night courses at the high school told Channel 4 the district is aware of the claims the student has made and the alleged incident is under investigation.
Rajpoot's father, Mohammed Shahid, has enlisted the help of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. He said the group has contacted the school district. "We are trying to correct him and we're trying to tell them what he did was wrong, and we still like him as a teacher and respect him," said Shahid.
With two years left at Orange Park High, Rajpoot said she doesnt plan to take any more classes with the teacher who she said made the inappropriate comments. "He should get some type of consequence. He's an educator, but he needs to be educated. That's how I feel," Rajpoot said.
The school district continues to investigate the allegations against the teacher.
Did any reporter ask the teacher what happened? Did any reporter even try to contact the teacher? Do our MSM gatekeepers even consider the right to know both sides of the story pertinent anymore??

If it was a class like math I might suspect the student was failing and made up the story to escape without an F, but a psychology class.... not so likely.

What part of "Jihad is ordained for you." is she denying?

The whole thing sounds like it could have been engineered by CAIR. I'm not saying it was but (a) It fits their narrative so well (b) Its happening during the political campaign season (c) most teachers are so far to the left I find the comments unbelievable. If the teacher was misquoted as saying a Presidential candidate might think that or play on that and they were taken out of context perhaps.
Muslims seem to be so easily offended it is hard to take them seriously as a religion.

Just the next chapter in the ongoing: "Teachers ain't got no Rights saga;"
My math teaching daughter was taken to task for using an old standby when describing the fact that a true answer can be reached via a variety of methods. Seems Little Johnie is an animal hugger and didn't take kindly to being told that "there is more than one way to skin a cat."

Kill this bitch and the next muzzie will keep their f**ken mouth shut.

What ever happened to Zenster ?
Does anyone have a clue ? If those against Islam disappear one by one, then either something is up or as a group we are surrendering to jihad.
A Camp Lejeune marine suspected of killing a colleague who was eight months pregnant was formally charged with first degree murder.
Not that it does much good, since he's in Messico.

If found, Mexico won't keep him unless he's a national. That's been experience in NM with killers who run for the border. The authorities exercise their authority under Article 33 of the Mexican Constitution and expel the fugitive into the hands of the border control people. If it's one of their own, however, they'll keep. So much for 'open borders', privilege above responsibility.
Quick and to the point for a no-nonsense kinda person, but if you run into someone who is judging you by your visual organization, you should work on getting the white space, columns, indentation, etc. to flow and work with each other across each major section of your resume. It's usually better if you can fit it onto one page, but you may not be able to. Try to have the break between the two pages in a logical place, with the first page having the most important info. Can probably reclaim some of the white space in the header. Perhaps underline each of the four main section titles.
Experience section needs white space/visual-organization overhaul. Perhaps say '2007-Present' to help keep years columns in line better.
Achievements: Perhaps use bullets instead of indents. Can line bullets up with bold header. For example: Under 'GLC BUSINESS SERVICES' have three bullets, each bullet lined up with the 'G' of 'GLC ...'. Have all text after each bullet line up in a block that starts a couple of spaces after the bullet. This keeps it square and easy on the eyes!
Whatever the case, good luck!
Oh yeah, it needs a link to RB on it somewhere! That way if you end up getting the job you'll know you'll be surrounded by only the finest of people and the fewest of trolls! :-)

According to the article a majority of Indomuzzies are moderate. Using those numbers and allowing for 60% moderate (a sizable majority) that only leaves 83 million fanatical Indomuzzies.

Using your 60% moderate, AlanC, that's 125 million moderate Muslims in Indonesia alone. That's pretty impressive since no one here could find one a few months ago.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
