Happy b-day Fred, you mod God. BTW, here's to you and hoping that you have 100+ more. We'll need RB for some time before we get REAL serious and win this war. Thanks for all you do.

Happy birthday Fred.
So how was it when Rantburg consisted of a stack of punched cards anyway?
A new Public Opinion Strategies (R) poll finds Ned Lamont (D) trailing Sen. Joe Lieberman (I), 51% to 35%, in the Connecticut U.S. Senate race. Republican Alan Schlesinger receives 4% of the vote, while 10% remain undecided.
Key finding: When asked which candidate is running a negative campaign, 40% say Lamont compared to 19% for Lieberman.
Remember, this is a blue state, and the moonbats get 1/3 of the vote.

In Connecticut, Pole Finds Way to Lamonts Behind
#3
I think the proper infinitive to use here would be "up", aaahhh, or since he's numbers are bending over
should this case be -- pole "down" he's behind --

'bout time the Independents took over the Senate...Lot's of Joementum here! Let's hear it for the Poles in Connecticut!
#6
Isn't the Hildabeast campaigning or at least rootin the the grandstands for Lamont? Another resounding flop for her credibility.
I, for one, would like to see more independents in the Senate, who would break up the stranglehold that the corrupt dems and repubs have on the legislative body. Both parties need their a$$es kicked from here to Sunday. The republicans need just plain kicking and the dems need kicking right out the door.

Jersey polls have Kean leading Martinez, Gonzalez, Ruiz whatever. Another donk loss.
#9
Kean maybe leading in NJ, but its cold comfort because that guy is a walking talking definition of RINO. That idiot Chaffee in RI is a flat out conservative stud compared to Kean.
#12
Jersey Mike, Kean will be a rookie. He will want good committee assignments. He will have to play nice if the repubs pick an ass kicker as leader.
(Lott and Frist should have shit on Lindsey Gramme, but they were fluffy).
Neglected and oppressed during the Saddam era, the citizens of Iraq's northern city of Kirkuk are now rising to rebuild their city and their countrys economy. With operations back on-line in the local oil fields, additional infrastructure preparation for further economic growth is underway.
I know there's a couple of repressed railroaders out there.... More, including a couple of pictures, at link.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
