We just went through a winter storm in which the EV crowd was screwed. Going forward with a plan the spells certain doom will be the hallmark of the Biden catastrophe.

OK, so the trucking industry needs to sue the EPA. Sue them to do an environmental impact study and report on the effects of a nation transfer of energy to the grid. The study will show there is not enough energy to heat homes, let alone fuel trucks. So they will have to build power plants. for that they will need environment studies as Nuclear is the only option. Those studies take decades before building and a decade to build. Also, the EPA needs to study downstream effects of lithium in this nation and how its mined.
The point here is they can get all the new directives stopped for decades by clogging them up in their own bureaucracies...

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Where embellishing is defined as every word is a lie, including the and and.
New York Rep.-elect called inconsistencies 'resume embellishment'
He acknowledged he never worked for financial firms Citigroup and Goldman
In fact, he worked at a call center in Queens, making $15 an hour
Also admitted to not actually holding degrees from Baruch College and NYU
He has also acknowledged never graduating from any college, despite earlier claiming to have a degree from Baruch in 2010.
'I didn't graduate from any institution of higher learning. I'm embarrassed and sorry for having embellished my resume. I own up to that … We do stupid things in life,' he said.
The 'openly gay' Santos, who was revealed to have been married to a woman until 2020, currently lives in Long Island.
Santos had been married to a woman named Uadla between 2012 and 2019 but he now insists he is happily married once again - to a man.
He came clean on Monday after lying his way along the campaign trail.
'I am not a criminal. Not here, not abroad, in any jurisdiction in the world have I ever committed any crimes,' Santos said in an interview with WABC radio.
‘This is the second time he's run and these issues we assumed would be worked out by the voters,' said one senior GOP leadership aide who remained anonymous.
'To get down to the nit and gritty, I'm not a fraud. I'm not a criminal who defrauded the entire country and made up this fictional character and ran for Congress. I've been around a long time. I mean, a lot of people know me. They know who I am. They've done business dealings with me,' he added.
'I'm not going to make excuses for this, but a lot of people overstate in their resumes, or twist a little bit. … I'm not saying I'm not guilty of that,' he said.
'I want to make sure that if I disappointed anyone by resume embellishment, I am sorry.'
The Donald Trump-supporting politician won a historic victory on November 8 when he became the first openly gay non incumbent Republican elected to Congress.
Despite the blatant deception, Santos told the New York Post he has no intention of stepping aside and still intends to take office in the new year.
On his campaign website Santos stated that his mother was Jewish and his Jewish maternal grandparents escaped the Holocaust by moving to Brazil. But records show that his maternal grandparents were Brazilian-born Catholics.
Santos says that he's 'clearly Catholic,' reframing his story as one his grandmother told about being Jewish before later converting to Catholicism.
Santos' web of lies began to unravel last week as questions were asked of his resume and it became something of a 'running joke' within GOP circles.
'As far as questions about George in general, that was always something that was brought up whenever we talked about this race. It was a running joke at a certain point. This is the second time he's run and these issues we assumed would be worked out by the voters,' said one senior GOP leadership aide who remained anonymous.
Then there is all the financial fraud — non-payment of rent, of loans from friends, paying for his mother’s funeral with a bad check — and the lies he told about his background while working at that call center. He is a straight up con man and the local Republican party knew, but said nothing, deliberately allowing the voters and OrangeManBad to be suckered.

...Hanlon's Razor has gotten one hell of a work out in my life lately, and this is no exception.
When Santos ran the first time, he was a sacrificial lamb - there was no way in hell he was going to beat his opponent, and as long as he showed up for all the events and said the right things, nobody particularly cared.
This time, he stepped up again, and everybody appears to have simply assumed he was properly vetted - after all, he ran last time so he must have been okay.

I think he looked at what it takes to gain the presidency and didn’t want to spent that amount of time developing a reputation for lying and corruption. This is a fast track lane like Obama’s.

If it weren’t for the fact that he never graduated from any college I would say Congress should refuse to seat him… but as such he represents an abandoned constituency.
[Breitbart] President Joe Biden plans to leave for a vacation in the Virgin Islands on Tuesday after the United States was blasted with record-cold temperatures and winter weather.
The president and his family leave Tuesday evening for St. Croix and plan to stay on the island for the rest of the week to celebrate New Year’s Day.
By the time he leaves it’ll all be over, and it’s not like he would be any help anyway.

118 people die every day in traffic accidents on average. Not to hyped up about the national leader leaving when 27 people die in a weather event he couldn't control or fix.

Nah, be hyped up about it. We have to him them bitch and fucking whine about every little thing so we should pay them back with their own bullshit.

Security worked as intended, set up the scenario so Nancy could blame Trump.
[Breitbart] Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Friday continued the annual tradition of celebrating “Festivus,” airing out his many grievances as it relates to government waste.
Paul’s 2022 Festivus report highlights $482,276,543,907 in government waste and includes $2.3 million used by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for an experiment involving injecting puppies with cocaine, $202,000 used by the Department of Defense (DOD) on Starbucks espresso machines, and $3 million for the construction of a Gandhi museum.
“This will be the 10th year in a row that I’ve celebrated #Festivus with you. By celebrated I mean have a little fun at the expense of Washington. If we don’t laugh we might cry,” Paul wrote before sharing some of the highlights of the report to his social media page and invoking the infamous Seinfeld quote from Frank Costanza, “I’ve got a lot of problems with you people!”
“I would air my grievance at Fauci again but I am trying to be festive — and also I’m trying to get home for Christmas. If I listed all of the things Fauci was wrong on…wow that guy is wrong a LOT,” Paul began:
According to Paul, the DOD wasted millions this year, including $28 million on “camouflage” uniforms that did not work.
Per the Festivus report:
A Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) report revealed that the Department of Defense (DOD) spent roughly $28 million on forest-patterned, “camouflage” uniforms to use in the deserts of Afghanistan. It was later found that the camouflage uniforms were “not based on an evaluation of its appropriateness for the Afghan environment.”
The DOD also spent $192,952 on what the report describes as “top-of-the-line” Starbucks espresso machines:
The NIH also wasted a significant amount of money. That includes $2.1 million on encouraging Ethiopians to wear shoes, $2.3 million injecting beagle puppies with cocaine, $1.1 million on “training mice to binge drink alcohol,” over $519,000 using mice to study racial aggression, and $187,500 on “verifying that kids love their pets.”
According to the report, the pet grant went to Kent State University, which used the funds to apparently “verify that the relationship between pets and children is beneficial to mental health.”
Other highlights directly from the report include:
Maintaining 77,000 empty Federal buildings (GSA)………………..………….$1,700,000,000
Helping illegal immigrants avoid deportation (DHS)……………………….…. $168,000,000
Overpaying government contractors for a terminated contract (GSA)…………..$69,000,000
Using COVID relief funds to construct an 11,000 square foot spa……….……. $140,000,000
Watching hamsters fight on steroids (NIH)………………………..………….…..$3,000,000
Studying the romance between parrots (NSF)……………..………………………….…$689,222
A radio campaign telling drivers to stop at railroad crossings (DOT)………………..$200,000

Most waste takes longer to identify. It is like a jobs report; they outright lie initially and the truth dribbles out over time. If Rand was looking back over a 5 year window the total would be higher. His report also has a bias towards funny waste. Steroid hamsters get a mention, but I would argue that nearly all money allocated towards education is waste based on achieved results. There is also redundant waste. Cities and states are libel to be sued by any number of civil rights divisions of different arms of the imperial government, for instance. There is also an NGO waste of fungibility where the government shovels money at NGOs or foreign governments with no audit or other accountability function. We give money to PP for supposed good deeds which frees up their other funds to be used against the wishes of more than half of the tax payers. There are whole offices of people processing paperwork and checks that funnel Mitch approved morality payments headed for Kiev. Allen Iverson didn’t need an office to make it rain $100k in a strip club. Why are we wasting money on bureaucracy? We can make Hunter Biden the Ukraine Czar and achieve the same result at the same level of corruption: 100%.
Finally, there is the Defense budget, a perceived good, that is really setting up different FIFO lanes of armaments into a war zone where a portion of it is killing Russians, a portion is killing different Slavic civilians and ruining their stuff and a portion is going who knows where. The media tells us it is good to do while they are shaming us for doing the same thing in Iraq where at least the arms weren’t being resold for export.

I'd appreciate my taxes used to train beagles to wear shoes and making Ethiopians binge drink alcohol. I wouldn't mind injecting Starbucks machines with cocaine either for a million or two, provided the cocaine came from confiscated stashes. And build a museum to mice, you bastards. For all you've put 'em through! WTF did Gandhi ever do?
