[Express] EMMANUEL Macron’s popularity has taken another hit, according to a new poll, as the French President was hit by a weekend of chaos over his controversial fuel tax reforms which prompted major riots.
Just a quarter of those polled said they were satisfied with Mr Macron, according to an Ifop survey published in the Journal du Dimanche (JDD) on Sunday.
The French President’s approval rating - the amount of those satisfied by his performance - was down to 25 percent from 29 percent in October, according to the survey of almost 2,000 people between November 9 and 17.
It comes as Mr Macron faced a weekend of violent protests over his fuel tax hikes, with more than 400 people injured and one woman killed in the protests.
Around 288,0000 people took part in the protests by the "Yellow Vests" grassroots campaign, with furious demonstrators blocking roads across France.

The purpose of recent massive government supported immigration is so criminal elite can have the power to loot their fellow country men through formal high taxation.

[PJ] Ohio Gov. John Kasich was on a three-city swing through New Hampshire this week, potentially feeling out a 2020 run for the White House as a Republican, or as an independent.
When CNN asked Kasich during a stop in Manchester, N.H., about how he's calculating his chances, the governor replied, "I don't do math calculations. That's not what I do."
"I mean, all options are on the table. And the question is, ultimately, can I have a very positive impact on the country, and I've got lots of people here who were saying to me just -- I was here yesterday and this guy comes to me and says, I don't care what you do, but wherever you go, I want to be there. I want you to understand that," he said. "And that's a really heartening thing. Terrific."
Kasich told reporters in Concord on Thursday that he's "encouraged every time I come back" to New Hampshire.

My kid has a friend in Columbus (OSU) who was associated with Kasich's 2016 campaign. From the sound of it, Kasich campaign staff pissed off nearly everyone in the city. I doubt he would win Ohio in a primary this time.
[KOCO] President Donald Trump is name-calling Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff for saying Matthew Whitaker's appointment as acting attorney general is unconstitutional.
Trump says Schiff shouldn't complain that Whitaker wasn't confirmed by the Senate because neither was special counsel Robert Mueller, who's investigating 2016 election interference and possible ties between Moscow and Trump's campaign.
The Justice Department appoints special counsels.
Critics contend Trump illegally sidestepped procedure by appointing Whitaker over Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who's been confirmed.
Trump's tweet calls Schiff "little Adam Schitt." Somebody please tell me this.. did.. not.. happen.. but it did - checked his Twitter page (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/).
I fear a large percentage of the Suburban Womens vote just said "Buh, bye.”

Dam right it happened snowflake. Politics is now a street fight and a war zone which started with the Dims Obama characterizing the selection of Sarah Palin as his opponent's running mate as puting lipstick on a pig.
And continued with the Dims gleefully shoving sch!tt down our throats every chance they could. That is why we hired The Don.
The Dim resistance are going to resist, lie, cheat and steal and try to destroy every thing we do and if your puny little ears can't handle the well deserved trash talk the Dims are finally, deservedly getting in this street fight against their antifa brown shirts, and thier pron stars, and thier Mad Maxines followers getting in your face at the restuarant or press conference then go melt somewhere else!

By the way, oh 'miss-informed one'! Suburban Women are well aware of who called conservative women pigs wearing lipstick. Thats why they voted for Trump and kicked out you snowflake Never Trumpers recently!

Trump uses derisive accurate nickname for Rep. Adam Schiff in tweet
Fixed it for ya - your welcome.
Two comments - this is a calculated lob into the other bunker; and...
I fear a large percentage of the Suburban Womens vote just said "Buh, bye.”
I will do my best not to insult you, but are you fucking serious with this comment? Have you taken into consideration how many times Trump has done this sort of thing already via Twitter as well as the percentage of people that will remember this one particular tweet eleven months from now? Your political analysis sucks big hairy donkey balls, so just stop before embarrassing yourself any further.

It's not a high school popularity contest. It's war. The other side demands you surrender. There is no 'middle' way. The world she lives in will indeed be fundamentally altered.
Don't doubt it. Do doubt it's a large number of people.
Bill Kristol might beg to differ...

Mrs. Uluque will NOT like this and I think many of her friends and relatives will not like it either. You can fight hard without resorting to profanity. You can always find a better, more effective way to express yourself if you think first before you resort to dirty words.
Yes, I believe Trump made a mistake here. I think Schifferbrains is a much better term for the honorable gentleman from California.

If THIS is what causes you to abandon President Trump, you never actually supported him in the first place. Seriously, you didn't. How many times and how many vulgarities have we heard from the Left? How many insults and out-right lies?
But no, calling someone a bad word through wordplay on their names is the final straw! We've tried the civility angle, Bush 43 was that. I for one remember the depictions of him as a literal monkey. How soon we forget.
So I repeat, if this causes you to stop supporting, you never supported in the first place. You may have Hated Hillary more(easy to do), but you didn't support.

This is what CEOs are like. I know most people never get close enough to senior managers to know them and what they are like; but Trump is no different in his style and mannerisms than a lot of senior managers I met in my career.

Reread #8 and #5. It will get worse before it gets better. Civility left the building long ago.

We didn't hire Trump for eloquence. We hired him because he fights at every level necessary for us. Sometimes that includes "not so nice" words. Folks that are "triggered" by this need to grow a pair - both men and women included.

Tom. This is also what many of the most successful Generals during war time are like. If the enemy requires submission or surrender, you have no choice but to use every phsycological weapon you have.
But some so called men are too p'ssy whipped to be called a warrior.

Civility is when someone calls you a Racist™ and you are supposed to smile and take the hit. Anecdotally, an ex-friend looked me in the eye and said: "The only reason I can think of not voting for Obama is racism!"
Those of us who have worked intimately with elections recognize that they are increasingly won or lost at the fringes. Notable exceptions include the charismatic charlatan (Barack Obama) and the demonstrably incompetant (Bruce Rauner). Many on the fringes look at seemingly small things to influence their vote. And the "Schitt"-thing is a small thing mirrored. Worse, this scatalogical twist of a name demonstrates conclusively that he, Schiff, is exciting Trump synapses, this to his, Schiffs, delight.
I am a Trump supporter, but have no problem voicing my concern when he appears to "step in it." Yes, I've been in the company of corporate swells who use idiom and adjective for emphasis, but they (at least should) know better than to make such utterances in a press release, at a shareholders meeting or a company-sponsored "mixer." It's a bad look.
In closing, I still support Mr. Trump, but he has made my job of keeping some in the fold harder.
To the ad hominem attack of calling me a "snowflake," I'd like to see you walk a mile in my shoes, but doubt you'd make it to the mailbox.

I don't think anyone is calling you a snowflake, Anomalous.
We're pointing out that, should someone not support President Trump because of this single tweet, letting everything else pass from the other side, that they never truly supported the President. It's pointing out a lack of ability to draw moral equivalencies that lead to the exposure of ones inner beliefs.
I think people here know what snowflakes are. Supporting yet still disagreeing with something the President did/said is not it. Lord knows I disagreed with GWB every 3-6 months for something.

Thanks Charles, but please see comment #1, fourth word ^ context. And I doubt I'll be getting a Christmas Card from Raj.
"Schitt" will not sway the core, but, again, the goodwill of the fringes are what are needed to successfully cross the finish line in first place. And I'm certain this tweet will be back in, say, 18 months-or-so as "additional proof positive" that Mr. Trump is unbalanced / crude / unsuitable, etc. Should it be seen as such? No. Will it? Ask a few "undecideds" what they think of it.

Let me tell you something Anonymous Sources. You are a pompous little snot for your bs about how you claim you are so much better than everyone else. That proves to the worĺd that you are a nobody except in your snowflake little mind. When Trump made you pee'd all over yourself and crap in your diapper so easily.
[THECONSERVATIVETREEHOUSE] Well, amid the absolute s**t-show that is Broward County elections, a mysterious set of 2,000 ballots going missing is probably the least of their issues. However,….

The picture of the "totally legit ballot box" suggests the solution. Let National Guard troops backed by US Marshals take custody of all ballots at the polling places. "Elections officials" only need to see the ballots, not control them...

Don't feel sorry for her. She did it for the greater good and I'm sure she will be rewarded. She should be in jail but instead she'll probably get a book deal. Maybe she'll get a GoFundMe page. She'll be OK.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
