[Forbes] An investigative piece in The Hill shows that the FBI knew, as of November 2009, of criminal activities by Tenex, the U.S. affiliate of Russia’s nuclear energy agency, Rosatom. At that time, Rosatom was authorized to ship spent fuel from Russian nuclear power plants to customers in the United States. Justice Department documents show that Tenex executives instructed a subcontracting U.S. trucking firm, in late November of 2009, to pad its prices in a no-bid process and to wire transfer the difference to offshore accounts. FBI records show a series of subsequent Tenex kickbacks and money laundering transactions. The Justice Department waited until December of 2015 ‐ five years after the first evidence of criminal wrongdoing-- to offer a plea bargain and jail sentence for the Russian executive in charge of Tenex.
The important point: By late 2009 the FBI already had strong evidence of kickbacks and money laundering by Russian nuclear-energy entities operating in the United States in clear violation of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
[M.WASHINGTONTIMES] The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a request from a man who wants to be able to legally marry his laptop, saying he cannot intervene in the court’s upcoming case involving a baker who refused to make a cake for a same-sex couple’s wedding. Doesn't apply to me. I'm divorcing my wife and marrying my toaster.
Chris Sevier had asked to be allowed to take part in the case to argue that if same-sex couples are able to get married and demand that Christian bakers make them wedding cakes, then he should be allowed to marry his laptop and demand a cake to celebrate the union between one man and one machine.
He said he asked Jack Phillips the Christian baker, to make a cake for him and his laptop ‐ which Mr. Sevier called "non-secular parody weddings."
The Supreme Court, without comment, refused his request to intervene.
The main case pits Mr. Phillips against the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, which ruled the baker was violating the rights of same-sex couples by refusing to bake cakes for them. Mr. Phillips says the government is trying to force him to use his artistic expression against his will, which he says is a violation of First Amendment rights.

You don't need to marry your toaster, Fred. It can't testify against you.
[Rasmussen Report] Well over a year after the FBI began investigating "collusion" between the Trump campaign and Vladimir Putin, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has brought in his first major indictment.
Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort has been charged with a series of crimes dating back years, though none is tied directly to President Donald Trump or 2016.
With a leak to CNN that indictments were coming, Mueller's office stole the weekend headlines. This blanketed the explosive news on a separate front, as the dots began to be connected on a bipartisan plot to bring down Trump that began two years ago.
And like "Murder of the Orient Express," it seems almost everyone on the train had a hand in the plot.
The narrative begins in October 2015.
Then it was that the Washington Free Beacon, a neocon website, engaged a firm of researchers called Fusion GPS to do deep dirt-diving into Trump's personal and professional life -- and take him out.
A spinoff of Bill Kristol's The Weekly Standard, the Beacon is run by his son-in-law. And its Daddy Warbucks is the GOP oligarch and hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer.
From October 2015 to May 2016, Fusion GPS dug up dirt for the neocons and never-Trumpers. By May, however, Trump had routed all rivals and was the certain Republican nominee.
So the Beacon bailed, and Fusion GPS found two new cash cows to finance its dirt-diving -- the DNC and the Clinton campaign.
To keep the sordid business at arm's length, both engaged the party's law firm of Perkins Coie. Paid $12.4 million by the DNC and Clinton campaign, Perkins used part of this cash hoard to pay Fusion GPS.

Why would FSB dish dirt on Trump if they had also colluded with him to hack the DNC's email? Did Putin want to discredit both candidates, did this left hand not know what his right hand was doing or, more likely, is the dossier a crock of crap?

Hillary Clinton along with the DNC bankrolled Fusion GPS to set up Donald Trump Jr. in a large scheme to undercut his father’s path to the presidency, a high ranking official in the Justice Department confirms.
The Russian lawyer who set up Donald Trump Jr. ‐ Natalia Veselnitskaya ‐ was paid by Fusion GPS. Fusion GPS was paid by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.
Oh yes, we forgot to include this: Veselnitskaya and Fusion GPS worked together on another caper in 2014, two years before the Trump Jr. operation. In Russia.
A Justice Department official said Clinton likely never expected her campaign’s role and finances to be uncovered and broke a host of federal laws while trying to get elected in 2016, including bringing Veselnitskaya ‐ who was previously barred from entering the United Stated ‐ into Manhattan for the Trump sit down.
That places the Barack Obama administration directly into this illegal soup.
Are you getting a clear picture of what happened now?
Using research firm Fusion GPS as a buffer, Clinton and associates are now linked to financing a scheme to set up the controversial Trump Jr. meeting at Trump Tower before the 2016 presidential election.
Fusion GPS is already on the legal hot seat for commissioning the Dodgy Dossier on Trump, hiring former British spy Christopher Steele to compile the bogus manifesto with the financial backing of the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign, as well as the FBI.
But these new revelations ‐ that Fusion GPS played a key role in setting up President Trump’s elder son to make it look like he was colluding with the Russians to beat Hillary ‐ pushes this scandal into a new and more troubling orbit.
Soon after the meeting, Clinton and her campaign flunkies began slamming Trump for his links to Russia and Vladimir Putin, a chorus that continues to this day.
But it appears now this loud chorus was a manufactured arrangement of lies from a paid choir.
Especially since this scheme was backed by Hillary-Clinton dollars which implicates Clinton and her campaign in helping orchestrate the Russian sit down to entrap members of the Trump family.
Perhaps even more alarming, it is now alleged Barack Obama’s Justice Department and FBI helped sneak the Russian lawyer into the United States for the Trump Tower meeting, the insider said. She was previously banned from entering the country (more on that below).
If you are paying attention, this scandal is shaping up into a serious and disturbing criminal plot.
The Democrats and Clinton herself lambasted Trump Jr. for meeting with Russian lawyer The Democrats alleged Trump Jr. was working a backroom and illegal deal at the behest of his father. The meeting has been part of U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s criminal investigation and Trump Jr. has testified at the Senate level to explain the meeting. Trump Jr., corroborated by evidence since the investigation began, met with the Russian delegation for anything but illegal reasons.
No collusion, as the Democrats have cried out for, has been proven on Trump Jr.’s part or that of his father. Nor does it appear it ever will be.
Fusion GPS has been fighting Congress in federal court to keep its banking records private, battling a federal subpoena to turn over the details of money coming in and flowing out of the Virginia-based research firm.
Following the Trump Tower sit down with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, investigators began digitally wiretapping Paul Manafort, Trump Jr., and Jared Kushner who were also at the meeting.
Federal agents previously disclosed to True Pundit that after the concocted Russian meeting, the British spy agency GCHQ could officially justify wiretapping Trump associates as an intelligence front for NSA because Russian lawyer Veselnitskaya was considered an international security risk and prior to the June sit down was not even allowed entry into the United States or the UK, federal sources said.
Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who spearheaded the Trump Tower meeting with the Trump campaign trio, was previously barred from entering the United Sates due to her alleged connections to the Russian FSB (the modern replacement of the cold-war-era KGB).
Yet mere days before the June meeting, Veselnitskaya was granted a rare visa to enter the United States from Preet Bharara, the then U.S. Attorney for the southern district of New York. Bharara could not be reached for comment and did not respond the a Twitter inquiry on the Russian’s visa by True Pundit.
Now, according to new Intel gems from the Whiter House insider, Fusion GPS may have played a role in paying Veselnitskaya’s way into the United States as well as a possible stipend, travel expenses and accommodations.
Veselnitskaya returned to Russia after the meeting, sources confirmed.
Federal law enforcement sources said Bharara was simply following the orders of Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who lobbied the State Department to issue the disavowed Russian a B1/B2 non-immigrant visa. This permitted Veselnitskaya entry into the United States for the sole purpose of entrapping Trump associates to use as fuel to commission wiretaps, federal sources said.
Veselnitskaya may have been paid as well by the U.S. government, FBI sources said. It was reported previously by True Pundit that Steele, who compiled the Trump dossier was paid at least $100,000 from FBI funds as well. But that came later, after the wiretapping was well underway.
The illegal eavesdropping started long before Steele’s dossier. Federal sources said the wiretaps on Trump insiders began in late 2015, almost a year before the 2016 election. The targets then were Flynn and Page, sources confirmed. When no smoking gun was recovered from those initial taps, U.S. intelligence agencies moved to broaden the scope through their newly-formed alliance.
Intelligence garnered from the British eavesdropping, which again was merely a front for the NSA, was then used in August 2016 to secure a legitimate FISA warrant on Manafort, Trump Jr. and Kushner. That warrant was issued on or about September, 2016, federal sources confirm.
It was the third time the cabal of U.S. intelligence agencies sought a FISA warrant for the Trump associates and this time it was approved.
FBI sources said finally obtaining the FISA warrant was important because it provided the agencies cover for previous illegal wiretapping which they believed would never be discovered.
Here is what we now know, per intelligence gleaned form federal law enforcement sources with insider knowledge of what amounts to a plot by U.S. intelligence agencies to secure back door and illegal wiretaps of President Trump’s associates:

But remember, Hillary is just doing research while Trump is guilty of high treason.

Intelligence garnered from the British eavesdropping......
You may recall having read that theory right here on the Burg. Notice how conveniently Christopher Steele has slipped down the memory hole and how seldom we now hear from John Brennan ?

It's the addiction to public money that causes people to be like this. The ability to resist Potomac Fever is rare and it takes a truly exceptional person to do so.

Kinda late for that, ain't it?
[DAILYWIRE] On Sunday, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) appeared on MSNBC and told Joy Reid that Democrats shouldn’t rush to impeachment. However, man does not live by words alone, despite the fact that sometimes he has to eat them... he also appeared to presume some kind of guilt on the part of President Trump:
You know, I have the unusual experience of having tried an impeachment case in the Senate involving a New Orleans judge a few years ago, and I realize what a high bar it is. And in a Republican Congress, the bar is: can Republican members go back to their districts and make the case that they voted to remove the president because his conduct was so incompatible with office, and it was not simply a way of nullifying the vote because those other people didn't like the result. That's a pretty high bar.
And the president goes to all these rallies to essentially make the anti-impeachment argument when he says, "those people who look down on you are trying to steal your great electoral victory."
My feeling is that we shouldn't give any ammunition to the idea that we are racing to embrace this before all the facts are in. Let's finish our investigations; let’s see where they lead. Let's find out what the president's conduct has been, as well as those around him, and those in the campaign, and then we can make a decision about what the consequences should be.

[WMAL] Plans to erect a statue of former DC Mayor Marion The Bitch Set Me Up Barry ... the worst administrator, with the possible exception of Boss Tweed, ever elected to public office and then reelected and reelected when he got out of jail... No. That's not true. Boss Tweed wasn't elected to anything... outside the Wilson Building are moving forward.
This week, the City Council was briefed by Arthur Espinoza, the executive director of the DC Commission of the Arts and Humanities at a public hearing about the statue.
While the DC Council has yet to approve the statue, the eight foot clay model has already been sent to the foundry where a mold will be created.
Vince Gray, the councilmember for Ward 7 and former Mayor of DC, said he expects the council vote to be unanimous in favor of installing the statue. "It’s the right thing to do," Gray said.
Marion Barry served three separate times on the City Council, and a total of four terms as Mayor over a span of four decades. He was also known for his work in the civil rights movement. He was long hailed as a champion of the city’s poor, and was known for his programs creating city jobs for residents.

That's pretty amazing. Let's remove the pew plate of George Washington from Christ Church, and commemorate the life of a whore-mongering, drug-dealing, drug addict. That's par for the course in DC.
