US Marine officer models how the US Military thinks about political questions
[X] Separate this man from the service immediately. A Marine asks the Commandant if Israel is a reliable ally. He's doing China's work for them.

Headline mine — Clyde Thaviling6482‘s original headline, which is long and opinionated, can be seen in the yellow highlight above.

I am honestly impressed by all involved. The Marine politely and respectfully asked a question about something he had been reading about. The Commandant answered the touchy political question equally politely and respectfully, laying out the position and his reasoning for it. The audience listened closely and took it onboard. What could have supported our and Israel’s enemies — because the only thing they love more than murder and mayhem is causing dissension in our ranks — has been turned into solidarity instead. Semper fi!

#2  If Israel was conquered today, does anybody believe that tomorrow the Muslim world would renounce their Quran and their madrassas?

And sit around campfires holding hands with Christians and Hindus and Bahai and Buddhists, and with one another? And sing kumbaya together?

#3  Just asking the question isn't wrong, it's the tone and context behind the question that determines if the question was meant to cause disruption or not.

I have no doubt that there are many Israeli officers and politicians who correctly ask the same question, "is the US a reliable ally"*.

Just because the US and Israel are allies doesn't mean we aren't going to have different views and take different actions.

*And the answer is sometimes.

Arabia
What if a new war broke out between Tehran, Washington, and Tel Aviv? And how would it impact Yemen?

Translated Text:

⭕ What if a new war broke out between Tehran, Washington, and Tel Aviv? And how would it impact Yemen?

Yemen will not be immune to the repercussions of any large-scale confrontation involving Iran, especially given the Houthis' military and political ties to Tehran.

🔴 Militarily: The war could push the Houthis to escalate their missile and drone attacks in the Red Sea and against regional targets, opening an additional front and exposing their controlled areas to broader strikes.

🔴 On the ground: Iran's preoccupation with defending itself might weaken its ability to support the Houthis, but that doesn't mean the group will automatically collapse; they've built up military capabilities and local and external supply networks.

🔴 Economically: Disruptions to shipping, rising freight and energy costs could double the suffering of Yemenis, driving up prices for food and fuel in a country that relies on imports.

🔴 Politically: The Houthis' chances in a Yemeni settlement could recede if the country turns into a arena for exchanging military messages, or pressures might accelerate toward a deal that curbs regional threats.

In summary: A war on Iran won't necessarily mean the end of the Houthis, but it could alter the regional environment they depend on.

And the bigger question: Will the Yemeni government benefit from the potential shifts, or will Yemenis pay the price for a new war they have no say in?
The other question: what odds Israel or America would decide to go after the Houthis as well as Iran?

Britain
Jewish child had to explain why gas chamber taunts were wrong. Now adults are sneering at evidence of antisemitism in schools. What has gone wrong in Britian? Shomrim volunteers had to detain a suspect.
[AndrewFoxSubstack] The canary in the coal mine has gone silent. Britain should be utterly ashamed.
There was a brief Facebook Reel last night as I was editing the articles in the hopper for the midnight rollover — I didn’t get the link before the next one popped up, for which I apologize. A French Jewess said it’s over. At every gathering now, someone starts talking about where to go. Israel, sure. America? A possibility. But no longer England, no longer Canada… There are still about 450,000 Jews in France, roughly half Ashkenazi Jews who’d first settled in France under the Roman empire, with the addition in the 1950s of Jews from North Africa, part Maghrebi Jews whose communities dated back to Carthage before the conquest of Rome, part the Sephardi Jews who’d settled among them following the Jewish expulsions from Spain and Portugal in 1492.
One of the women was pushing a pram with a baby. On Monday this week, three Jewish women were assaulted in Stamford Hill. Shomrim volunteers detained a suspect; police arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of racially aggravated common assault and then increased patrols. They deserve credit. A woman taking her baby through London should not need this protection. What a disgusting state of affairs. It gets worse, though.

Today’s published review of antisemitism in England’s schools and colleges describes children encountering hatred long before they reach the classroom. In one class at a Jewish school Sir David Bell’s team visited, every single pupil could describe antisemitic abuse on the journey to or from school. The report records schools advising pupils to conceal their Jewish identity while travelling. Children are learning to hide because the adults responsible for their safety have failed to make ordinary journeys safe. Read that again. Is this our country now? Is this Britain? Is it?

Almost three in five Jewish respondents had experienced or witnessed antisemitism. Across respondents who encountered antisemitism, roughly half said incidents went unreported, and their reasons included doubting that anyone would take them seriously.
Dropping down to the end:
The canary in the coal mine has stopped singing, and I am sick of watching people argue that the quiet is a Zionist fabrication. A twelve-year-old has to explain why gas chamber taunts are wrong. Grown adults read accounts of Jewish children being abused and set about discrediting them, then have the gall to call themselves anti-racists. What a revolting betrayal of everything they claim to believe. Jewish families owe these people no apology for existing, no statement on Gaza and no patient hearing for their excuses. Protect the children. Hold the adults who fail them accountable. Anyone who sneers at their suffering should be confronted with the ugliness of what they are defending every time they presume to lecture the rest of us about racism.

Europe
Macron declared that the riots were actually AI-generated Russian misinformation.
[HOT AIR] I have to say, I am getting whiplash from all the conflicting narratives being put out by the transnationalists explaining that the current riots in France and other European cities have nothing to do with migrants.

First, we heard that they are just students wanting better schooling. Then we got the half-right explanation that the malefactors were left-wing agitators. Then we got the "It's Donald Trump's fault." Next, after a rushed trip to Qatar for some mysterious reason, having absolutely NOTHING to do with the riots being partly by Islamists carrying Palestinian flags, Macron declared that the riots were actually AI-generated Russian misinformation.

Now, these AI-generated riots have forced Macron to impose a curfew, begin militarizing the response, and to blame Antifa.

I can't keep up. Maybe Putin and Antifa are AI-generated too. I seem to recall the all-of-elite effort here in the United States to convince us all that Antifa was not real. It was a right-wing conspiracy theory, with websites, Chinese funding, seminars on how to break the law, and even (AI-generated?) attempted assassins.

Fifth Column
Data republican outs seditious conspirators
Jeff Childers via Joel Fink Facebook page

A taste. Read the whole thing.

So it’s going to be very hard for them to complain if the DOJ deploys the “smart,” “beautiful,” and “savvy” Jack Smith standard against all the folks involved in the group that just admitted it is getting up to stuff ten times worse than whatever Trump was accused of doing.

In other words, DataRepublican has exposed a network that drafts an “options memo” for governors to “wall off” a lawfully elected federal government, pitches it to at least three identified governors, and stands up a “war room” for election night.

It all looks remarkably like what Jack Smith called a seditious conspiracy when he charged a former president.

Beyond Jack Smith’s “smart” theory, the Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C. § 253) doesn’t require any actual riots either. It covers any “unlawful combination, or conspiracy” that obstructs federal law, which is a fair description of governors refusing federal authority and making treaties with foreign governments. This reminds us of the Constitution’s Article I, Section 10, which bars states from making “any Agreement or Compact… with a foreign Power” without Congress’s consent, and the plan’s “outreach to foreign governments” looks more like sedition than suggestion.

Now, I am a lawyer. But I’m only a commercial litigator. I’m not a DOJ prosecutor who has to bring a case. I could be missing something. But it is beyond my ability to understand how President Trump could be charged as an insurrectionist for holding a rally, but not these conspirators. And the former military members, who remain subject to military justice, might have even bigger problems (I’m looking at you, Admiral Smith, and your googly Sanpaku eyes).

In short: they might want to lawyer up.

Thus, while all this is undoubtedly a wake-up call that demands close attention, it is also a massive success to celebrate. It proves Trump and DOGE badly damaged the deep state and its progressive allies— and removed them from their much more dangerous position inside government.

In one fell blow, DataRepublican has sent the conspirators back to their electronic drawing boards.

It almost seems unfair. One deaf software engineer from Utah spoiled the careful plans of 300 ex-USAID color revolutionaries, a 1,600-member flag-officer network, the Democratic Socialists of America, and the Washington Post’s anonymous sources— all in under a week.
To be fair, the lady is very clearly a high level genius. And clearly a meta or orthogonal thinker, which is fascinating to watch from a distance. We’re very lucky she, like Elon Musk and his friends, have chosen to turn their attention to subjects that are so life-changing for all of us.
And consider this— Data now says she has thousands more transcripts and videos. I wonder what else could be buried in there.

Finally, and as a nifty segue from yesterday’s post, in classic Scooby-Doo fashion, DataRepublican just tore the mask off the villain, showing the audience that Admiral Smith (Ret.) isn’t actually a terrifying monster. He’s just an angry old man with a bad spray tan and weird eyeballs.

Right in time for Halloween, too.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
JUST IN: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu says Israel must prepare for a future without President Trump.
Of course. There seems to be a general agreement that he will not have a third term in office, so the entire world will soon be post-Trump. Bibi is also getting older — at some point Israel will be post-Netanyahu, too. But in the meantime he has been working to make Israel stronger defensively, economically, diplomatically, and culturally for a world more like what Israel experienced before America’s embrace after they won the Six Day War in 1967. If you look closely, the brief video has English subtitles.
