British PM Confirms Suspects It Released on Bail Were 'Highly Likely' Tied to Iran Terror Plot
[RedState] Britain's prime minister has delivered a stunning assessment of the suspected terrorist plot targeting RAF Fairford, the British airbase used by American bombers during operations against Iran.

Prime Minister Andy Burnham told Parliament Monday that British intelligence believes the September incident was orchestrated by Tehran, with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) almost certainly directing the operation.

And yet all seven men arrested in connection with the investigation were released on bail. Explain that one.

Speaking before the House of Commons, Burnham said: "I can confirm our assessment that it is highly likely to have been coordinated in Iran, almost certainly directed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard."

He continued: "We will not tolerate these threats on our soil. We will crack down on Iran's use of criminal networks using our full range of powers to target them and their funding streams."

Burnham was lit up by critics on social media.

"Britain Is Full": Farage Vows To Shut Down Asylum System For Five Years, Deport 90,000 Pending Claimants
[ZERO] Nigel Farage has a new answer to Britain's asylum backlog: abolish the asylum system.

Standing in Hythe, Kent on Monday in front of a replica Channel "mega dinghy," the Reform UK leader pledged that a Reform government would suspend the asylum system for a full parliamentary term: all new claims rejected, all pending applications voided, and every claimant marked for deportation, according to the BBC. No refugee status, no humanitarian protection, no tribunals and no resettlement schemes. Home affairs spokesman Zia Yusuf put it in three words: "Britain is full."

"The country is currently facing a national security emergency and the first duty of government is to protect its citizens. We cannot accept more asylum seekers while we still have no idea how many people are in the country illegally and the threat they pose. A Reform government will always put British people first and protect our borders." — Nigel Farage, to The Telegraph (emphasis ours)

Translation: rather than fix the queue, Reform proposes to delete it. Regular readers will recall that when Farage first sketched out his migration plan (ECHR exit, an asylum ban for illegal arrivals, migrants moved from hotels to disused RAF bases), we called Reform's plan for dealing with UK illegal migrants a good start (Aug 27, 2025). Fourteen months later, the "start" has become a full stop.

#1  How about an Operations "Dynamo" in reverse ?

May 1940, Admiral Bertram Ramsay directed the operation from a room in the Dover cliffs, hence “Dynamo” . The Royal Navy coordinated over 800 warships, but the Admiralty also appealed to civilian boat owners, creating the famous “little ships” — private yachts, fishing boats, and trawlers.

UK Universities Restrict Student Recruitment From Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria and India
[KhaamaPress] Universities across the United Kingdom are withdrawing admission offers, suspending recruitment or introducing stricter screening for applicants from Bangladesh, Pakistain, Nigeria and India amid tougher student visa compliance rules that could put their sponsorship licences at risk.
Labour must be running scared that the populists — Nigel Farage and such — will win the next election.
According to The Business Standard, the restrictions follow a sharp increase in withdrawn UK study visa applications and growing concerns among universities that visa refusals could push them beyond the limits set by the Home Office. The measures vary by institution and do not constitute a blanket ban on students from the four countries.

A Financial Times analysis of Home Office data found that 10.5 percent of UK study visa applications were withdrawn in the first half of 2026, compared with 2.3 percent during the same period in 2025 and 0.4 percent in 2023. The reported withdrawal rates were 40.9 percent for applicants from Pakistain, 23.5 percent for Bangladesh, 22.7 percent for Nigeria and 5.2 percent for India. These figures concern withdrawals, not visa refusals, and should not be interpreted as rejection rates.

The restrictions follow changes to the Home Office’s Basic Compliance Assessment, which took effect on June 1, 2026. Under the revised rules, universities must keep their student visa refusal rate below 5 percent, ensure that at least 95 percent of sponsored students enrol, and maintain a course-completion rate of at least 85 percent. The completion threshold is scheduled to rise to 90 percent for assessments from June 2027.

Institutions that fail to meet the requirements can face compliance action and, in serious cases, lose their licences to sponsor international students. Such a loss would prevent them from sponsoring new applicants under the student visa route. The revised assessment system also introduced red, amber and green ratings to indicate institutions’ compliance performance.

The UK government says the tougher requirements are intended to strengthen recruitment standards and prevent misuse of student visas, including by people seeking asylum or illegal employment. Universities, however, face pressure to protect their sponsorship status while continuing to recruit international students, whose tuition fees provide an important source of income for the higher education sector.

Some universities have taken preventive measures, including pausing recruitment from particular countries or adding further checks before issuing admission offers and sponsorship documents. The restrictions differ by institution, course and intake, so applicants’ eligibility depends on the policies of their chosen university rather than nationality alone.

Students planning to study in the UK are advised to check directly with universities whether applications are being accepted, whether sponsorship is available for their intended intake, and what documentation is required. The current measures create a more uncertain admissions environment for prospective international students, particularly those applying from countries with high reported withdrawal rates.

For the record: More adventures in the Md. Abdul el-Sayid campaign

…donations she has made have transmogrified into 14,696 donations totaling more than $150,000—the equivalent of eight donations a day, every day for the past five years averaging $9.18.

She says she has contributed to Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic Socialist running for Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat, but not 47 times spanning the last TWO YEARS, as federal filings show.

In Direct Violation of Federal Tax Laws, Mosques Openly Campaign for Abdul El-Sayed
[PJMedia] A new report by the Middle East Forum (MEF) details how several tax-exempt organizations in Michigan, including mosques, routinely and blatantly violate federal tax law by openly campaigning for the Democratic candidate for Senate in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed.

The report, “Weaponized Charity: Islamist Nonprofit Electioneering in America,” by Islamist Watch research associate Mahyar Entezari, reveals a shocking use of taxpayer funds in support of a Muslim Democratic Senate candidate.

The law in question prevents designated nonprofits, known as 501(c)(3) organizations, from "endorsing candidates, soliciting campaign contributions, distributing campaign literature, hosting candidates with no evident equal opportunity for opponents, and publishing editorialized voting records timed to elections," according to MEF.

Abdul El-Sayed won the Michigan Democratic Senate primary by 13,000 votes, a margin of less than one percent. In the lead-up to election day, various nonprofit Muslim groups, including mosques and religiously affiliated organizations, solicited donations, distributed campaign literature, and openly endorsed El-Sayed from the pulpit. Two mosques hosted the candidate during services.

"At the Islamic House of Wisdom in Dearborn Heights, Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi, an Iranian-trained cleric who once directed the Political-Ideological Bureau of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, welcomed El-Sayed to the pulpit and told congregants, 'I’m going to vote for this man,' adding, 'voting is as wajib [religiously required] as prayer … everybody vote and let us vote for Brother Abdul El-Sayed,'" according to MEF.

The day before the August 4 primary, Imam Husham Al-Husainy of the Karbalaa Islamic Educational Center in Dearborn said that an El-Sayed victory would be a “victory to God.”

Something Is Rotten in Michigan. Are Democrats Trying to Steal the Election for El-Sayed?
[PJMedia] Michigan is a prime flip opportunity for the GOP, and it looks as if the Democrats are engaging in shenanigans to try to steal it.

Start with the motive. Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed are fighting to replace retiring two-term Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.), and recent polling shows the contest in a dead heat. The last two surveys that RealClearPolitics tracked put El-Sayed ahead by a single point, well inside the margin of error. Cook Political Report rates Michigan as the only Democrat-held seat in the toss-up column, in a state President Donald Trump carried in two of his three runs.

Democrats did this to themselves, frankly.

The seat became a pickup opportunity the moment Michigan Democrats passed over the more electable candidate, Haley Stevens, and nominated a socialist radical instead. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) obviously doubted his party could hold Michigan with El-Sayed on the ticket.

There's more evidence of a campaign in trouble. El-Sayed plans to campaign with Barack Obama later this month, a sign of desperation and an acknowledgment that black voters aren't sold on him. A candidate cruising to victory in a state Democrats have held for years doesn't need that kind of rescue mission four weeks out.

Naturally, Democrats are panicking and resorting to rigging.

On Friday, the Republican National Committee sued Lansing election officials, accusing them of illegally packing poll worker positions with Democrats, shutting Republicans out, and hiding election records from the public.

The law here leaves no room for creative interpretation. Under subsection (2) of MCL 168.674, "The board of election commissioners shall appoint at least 1 election inspector from each major political party and shall appoint an equal number, as nearly as possible, of election inspectors in each election precinct from each major political party."

Now look at what Lansing did.

The city appointed 140 Democrats and just 71 Republicans to Election Day poll worker slots, handing Democrats a nearly two-to-one edge. Officials can't claim they had nobody to pick from, because Republicans gave the city a list of qualified candidates. When Republicans asked to review the poll worker records, which should be open to the public, Lansing officials refused. The GOP tried repeatedly to resolve the problem with the city before going to court, and got nowhere.

"Democrats stacked the deck, pushed Republicans aside, and then tried to hide the paper trail," RNC Chairman Joe Gruters said. "That's exactly why voters are losing confidence in our elections. Michigan has become ground zero for election integrity violations, and the RNC is watching this state like a hawk. When left-wing officials break the rules, we'll take them to court and stop them."

Abdul El-Sayed’s Family Has ‘Long Been’ in Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, Senate Candidate’s Sister Said in Unearthed Social Media Posts
[WashingtonFreeBeacon] El-Sayed said on 'Meet the Press' that neither he nor any of his family members have ties to the Islamist group

Abdul El-Sayed said on Meet the Press on Sunday that neither he nor any of his family members have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, the Islamist group that spawned Hamas. But the far-left Senate candidate’s half-sister has suggested otherwise, boasting on social media that her family "has long been" Muslim Brotherhood and that some have been "jailed" over their membership in the group.

Eman Abdelhadi, an assistant professor at the University of Chicago, wrote openly about her family’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood in social media posts in 2012 and 2013, the Washington Free Beacon found.

"My family has long been MB," Abedlhadi wrote on June 24, 2012, days after Egypt elected Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Morsi as president. "I have had family jailed for being a part of it," she wrote on July 3, 2013. "Praying for all my family that supports the #MB in Egypt. Lie low, stay safe" she said.

Abdelhadi’s Egyptian family is seemingly the same as El-Sayed’s. Their mother, Fatten Elkomy, emigrated from Egypt in the late 1970s and married El-Sayed’s father. After they divorced, Elkomy married Abdelhadi’s father, who was Palestinian.

Those revelations seemingly contradict El-Sayed’s assurances in an interview on Meet the Press that neither he nor his family have connections to the Brotherhood, which was formed in Egypt in 1928 and spawned Hamas in Gaza in the 1980s.

"You don’t have any ties, and your family doesn’t?" asked Kristen Welker.

"No," El-Sayed said twice.

El-Sayed’s familial ties to the Muslim Brotherhood run through his mother, Elkomy, who at one point worked for the Islamic American Relief Agency, which was sanctioned for funding al-Qaeda. The Treasury Department named the group a specially designated terrorist organization in 2004 for providing financial and logistical support to terrorist groups including al-Qaeda and Hamas. Court documents filed by U.S. officials named Elkomy more than a dozen times in connection with the cash transfers.

Elkomy divorced El-Sayed’s father in the mid-1980s, after El-Sayed was born, and gave birth to Abdelhadi—who has a different father—five years later.

Abdelhadi lived with their mother, while El-Sayed lived with his father, an engineering professor at Eastern Michigan University. According to Abdelhadi, their mother adhered strictly to her Arab roots.

"She insisted on never speaking to us in English or responding if we spoke to her in it," Abdelhadi wrote on X.

El-Sayed, who has twice claimed to have "dual citizenship" in Egypt, has faced growing questions about his views on the Muslim Brotherhood, Iran, and other adversaries.

"He's so close to the people who are supporting the Muslim Brotherhood," Republican candidate Mike Rogers said during last week’s Senate debate. El-Sayed’s father-in-law, Tayeb Jukaku, is on the board of the Islamic Society of North America, known as the public face of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States. The group was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the landmark 2007 terror financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development.

El-Sayed also expressed support for the Muslim Brotherhood after Morsi’s 2012 election. He signed an open letter that year with other Egyptian-American leaders that called on the Muslim Brotherhood to "purge the media and police."

In addition to denying links to the Brotherhood, El-Sayed evaded questions about whether he would vote to designate it a terrorist organization, most recently in a Fox News interview last week. Fox News host Martha MacCallum pointed out that senior leaders in the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood called for violent attacks on the United States and its partners after Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

"Any organization engaged in political violence or calling for political violence is engaged in terrorism," El-Sayed told MacCallum.

The Trump administration designated the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, the oldest and largest branch, as a terrorist organization in January over its plans to help Hamas. And a bipartisan group of senators, led by Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), has introduced legislation to designate the entire organization as a terrorist group.

It is unclear which El-Sayed family members on his mother’s side are Brotherhood members and whether El-Sayed himself has met any of them. El-Sayed has written and talked about visiting Egypt during summers in his childhood. Around 2 percent of Egyptians are members of the Muslim Brotherhood, also known as Ikhwan, though around one-third of Egyptians have a favorable view of the group.

Abdelhadi, who was arrested for assaulting a police officer at an anti-ICE protest in Chicago last year, indicated in her social media posts that she remained in close contact with her Brotherhood relatives and hosted one Brotherhood-linked relative during a visit to the United States.

"Asked my Aunt about the MB when she was visiting the US, was surprised by respect for civil liberties, women, religious minorities," she wrote on June 24, 2012.

"Conversations with my #MB family in Egypt revealed respect for individual liberties & secular state," she wrote on July 5, 2013.

It is unclear whether El-Sayed has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood on his father’s side of the family. In his autobiography, El-Sayed wrote that his father emigrated to the United States in 1978 in part because he "had to leave" Egypt over his "political agitation" against Egypt’s military dictatorship. El-Sayed has also said his father left Egypt because he believed "he could express his religion in America better than he could in Egypt at the time."

El-Sayed’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment. If elected, El-Sayed would be the first senator known to have Muslim Brotherhood family members.

Ethiopian Airlines flight turned away from Israel after pilot revealed to be Indonesian - report
[Jpost] The Islamic country of Indonesia currently has no diplomatic ties with Israel, making its nationals ineligible for flying to Israel due to the security risk.

An Ethiopian Airlines flight to Israel was forced to turn around overnight between Sunday and Monday after one of its pilots was revealed to be Indonesian, N12 News reported on Monday.

The Islamic country of Indonesia currently has no diplomatic ties with Israel, making its nationals ineligible for flying to Israel due to the security risk.

N12 reported that the identity of the pilot had been made known to security forces, as well as airport personnel, who had ordered the plane to turn around while it was still in Ethiopia's airspace.

The pilot was then swapped with a different one, after which the plane took off again and successfully landed in Israel.

According to N12, the airline claimed not to have known that the pilot was not allowed to fly to Israel.

HUNDREDS OF CREW MEMBERS FROM BARRED COUNTRIES MAY HAVE ENTERED ISRAEL
This occurrence came several weeks after a commercial flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv saw an attempted hijacking by an Omani pilot.

Last week, N12 reported that over 1,200 aviation crew members from countries without diplomatic relations with Israel, including Iran, might have entered the country, citing the Knesset's Intelligence Subcommittee of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.

N12 cited sources present at the committee meeting on the subject, who said that the revelation came as a surprise to the Transportation Ministry representative.

Two-state solution a 'trap we set for Israel,' Lebanon-based Fatah official brags
[Jpost] “We know the trap we have set for Israel by demanding a two-state solution. But Israel understands why it does not want to give us a state: it knows what the future could hold,” said Abu Shahab.

"We know the trap we have set for Israel by demanding a two-state solution," Basel Abu Shahab, secretary of the Fatah movement in the Burj al-Shemali refugee camp in Leb
...The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. Only one of those statements is an exaggeration....
, told Paleostine TV, adding that Israel "has reason to fear us."

Abu Shahab, the son of Fatah Maj.-Gen. Jalal Abu Shehab, widely known as Abu Basel, said in the interview over the weekend that within 20 years of a Paleostinian state being established, it could develop an aircraft industry and an industrial sector capable of rivaling Israel’s, giving it the "components of a state capable of confronting Israel."

"We know the trap we have set for Israel by demanding a two-state solution. But Israel understands why it does not want to give us a state: it knows what the future could hold," he continued.

"In my view, the establishment of a Paleostinian state would mean the disappearance of the Israeli entity and the end of global Zionism."

Throughout the interview, Abu Shahab glorified the fida’i (Paleostinian fighter) and portrayed past terrorist operations in a positive light, particularly Fatah’s abduction of Israeli watchman Shmuel Rosenwasser in 1969.

NOSTALGIA FOR FATAH ABDUCTIONS, ATTACKS
Fatah snuffies crossed into Israel from Lebanon and kidnapped Rosenwasser from his night-watch post in Metulla on December 31, 1969. He was held captive for over a year in Jordan before being released in March 1971 in exchange for Mahmoud Hijazi, a Fatah terrorist serving a life sentence in an Israeli prison.

"The first Fatah operation involving the capture of Israeli soldiers took place in that area (Metula), led by the late Abu Ali Iyad, one of the Paleostinian figures associated with the movement," Abu Shahab said, speaking about how he was still able to look over the Israeli town from the Wazzani area. "You can see your village right in front of you, yet you cannot do anything to return to it."

Although Abu Shahab expressed nostalgia for Fatah’s involvement in abductions and attacks, he acknowledged that handing over weapons to the Lebanese state had created a "historic opportunity" for Paleostinians and Syrians in the Burj al-Shemali camp, allowing them to obtain permission to bring in construction materials to improve living conditions.

He said that anti-Paleostinian racism in Lebanon was evident in the conditions in the camp and the restrictions imposed on it, which he said had only grown more severe amid Lebanon’s security situation.

FATAH INVESTS IN IMPROVING PALESTINIANS' IMAGE IN LEBANON
Without naming Hezbollah, however, Abu Shahab said there were "parties" who "embrace Paleostinians, welcome them, and treat the Paleostinian cause as one and the same as their own."

Shahab said Fatah had invested in improving Paleostinians’ image in Lebanon by funding Siraj al-Awda, a 133-member folk dance troupe that he said had "enabled us to enter areas that we could not otherwise have visited because of political sensitivities, including Kfar Shuba (a Sunni Moslem village) and other places."

"Some Lebanese groups regard Paleostinians as occupiers, but we were able to return to the embrace of the communities that had once welcomed the Paleostinian revolution," he said.

Shahab said that although Fatah can "operate" on Lebanese territory, the security situation has prevented it from holding a high-ranking meeting of the Paleostinian National Council in Lebanon.

He also warned against individuals seeking to "exploit divisions" and "turn people against members of the Fatah movement."

To counter these efforts, he said that Fatah members should refrain from criticizing their leader, "even if you believe that he does not possess all the qualities a leader should have," arguing that unity was essential to strengthening the movement.

"The road ahead of you is difficult. You must always understand that you are being targeted," Shahab told Fatah members.

"There is a saying in popular culture: when the arrows are directed at you, know that you are on the right path... God has protected [Fatah]. And why has God protected us? Because of the blood of the deaders and the souls of those who sacrificed their lives. Their presence and their sacrifices continue to protect the Fatah movement."

Peace in the Middle East? Kurdish PKK leader discusses regional ‘third world war’
[Jpost] Kamal Chomani, with The Amargi news outlet, spent ten days in caves waiting to interview the PKK chief in an exclusive interview about the region, Kurds, Turkey, and the world today.

The Middle East is at a crossroads. It is also in the midst of a “Third World War,” Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKK) Murat Karayilan said in an interview published on October 12.

“This war is in essence a global war. A Third World War; however, these make it into a regional war. War between Shias and Sunnis. War between Iran and the Arab Gulf States. This comes from a supremacist plan and mentality. A supremacist mentality, regarding how to design the region, how to control it, and how to govern it. It is such a plan,” he told Kamal Chomani from The Amargi news outlet. This is an important interview that puts a spotlight on Kurdish issues and the region. It comes at a unique time as the PKK is moving toward disarmament.

Kamal Chomani, a PhD student at the University of Leipzig in Germany, published an important and exclusive interview with Murat Karayilan, who co-founded the PKK and who is its key leader today.

Chomani notes in the introduction to his interview, posted on X, that “I spent 10 days in the PKK headquarters and caves before finally reaching Murat Karayilan, for this exclusive interview with The Amargi.” He noted, “We begin with the wars reshaping the Middle East and then break down the peace process, in which Mr. Karayilan clearly calls on the Turkish state to end policies of denial and annihilation, and on Kurds to abandon rebellion and work toward establishing a democratic state.” He also noted that the PKK leader has not spoken to an external media outlet for 12 years.
