[NATIONALREVIEW] Sex offender Richard Kenneth Cox claimed to be transgender in order to access women's bathrooms and locker rooms in Virginia where he exposed himself to women and young girls. When he reached out to a local school board member using an alias to complain about a pool's locker-room policy and the alleged transphobic treatment he faced, he received a sympathetic reply.
Arlington School Board member Kathleen Clark told Cox that she hoped he ''did not experience transphobic statements from the staff. You should be able to use the showers and changing rooms that you are most comfortable using.''
Cox reached out to Clark via email using the alias ''Riki Cox'' to plead his supposed ''right'' to use women's facilities, new documents show. It's unclear whether Clark knew Cox was a sex offender when she responded to his email.
Cox used women's facilities multiple times in Northern Virginia, including at an Arlington Public Schools-operated pool locker room. Because of the district's policy that allows transgender-identifying individuals to use whichever facilities align with their chosen gender identity, Cox was allowed unfettered access to shower and expose himself around women and girls.
Cox decried women who complained about the presence of a man in their locker-rooms and bashed the women's concerns as discrimination, according to emails obtained by Defending Education and first reported by 7News.
In an email sent to Clark on October 28, 2024, weeks after multiple parents complained about Cox's presence in their daughters' locker rooms, Cox identified himself as part of the ''transgender community.'' He asked Clark where she stood on the issue of transgender locker-room policies, so he knew who he should vote for.
Cox also said that any women who complain about the presence of a male in their private spaces ''should be invited to use the single locker room.''
''They are the ones that should be isolated before casting off me or other transgender people trying to be part of our community and not be treated like freaks,'' he wrote to Clark. ''I am writing you because there are multiple people running for School Board this year who claim to support the rights of LGBT people, and I want to know what you will do to reverse this decision of the Washington Liberty Swimming Pool before I cast my vote.''

[DAILYCALLER] Dominion Voting systems has been acquired by founder and chairman of Liberty VoteScott Leiendecker, in a deal which included dropping lawsuits against conservatives.
Leiendecker, former GOP election reform advocate, has officially become the sole owner of Dominion after making the deal contingent on dropping several remaining lawsuits against prominent conservatives and One America News Network (OANN).
Leiendecker further disclosed to the Caller that remaining litigation with MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell will be dropped by Dominion Voting Systems as part of the acquisition agreement.
Dominion also filed a lawsuit against Herring Networks, which owns OANN, in August 2021. The lawsuit remained unresolved, though Leinendecker further confirmed that future litigation will be discontinued following the acquisition.
The Liberty Vote will be inheriting ongoing litigation with former Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne, the Daily Caller has learned.
The acquisition makes Dominion a fully American-owned company — a shift Leinendecker says is designed to strengthen public confidence, enhance transparency and rebuild trust in the integrity of U.S. elections.
''Every legacy system is under review. Liberty Vote will be 100 percent American-owned, American-built and independently audited. We won't ask for trust — we'll earn it and prove it,'' Leindecker told the Caller in a statement.
The election technology company is being marketed to champion reforms aimed at ensuring every American's vote is secure and accurately counted, according to a press release.
Under its new leadership, Liberty Vote will move its operations entirely to the United States. The company says it is prioritizing election integrity by implementing third-party auditing standards, the same release added.
''Liberty Vote signals a new chapter for American elections — one where trust is rebuilt from the ground up,'' Leiendecker stated in the press release. ''Liberty Vote is committed to delivering election technology that prioritizes paper-based transparency, security, and simplicity so that voters can be assured that every ballot is filled-in accurately and fairly counted.''
The red meat of the matter: Piers Morgan interviewing UK Green Party leader Zack Polanski:

''Yes,'' Polanski said without hesitation. When Morgan paused, Polanski doubled down, mumbling that it would ''take them a long time on the National Health Service to get rid of it,'' before adding that it was ''another separate problem.''
Morgan, ever the provocateur, couldn't resist summing it up: ''All right, I think we'll leave it on a woman can have a penis.''
At that point, Polanski accused Morgan of lacking ''nuance and complexity about a pretty complicated conversation.'' But Morgan didn't buy it. ''Not really,'' he shot back. ''You couldn't have been clearer.''
Polanski then tried to cloak his position in pseudo-intellectual jargon. ''I'm clear because actually when you want to look at the science—'' he began, before Morgan interrupted: ''You were crystal clear. I asked you a simple question.''
Polanski protested that Morgan was ''laughing'' at him — which he was, and rightfully so — which Polanski said ''demeans trans people.'' Then came the classic activist deflection: ''What have you got against trans people? Why are you punching down?''
Morgan stayed calm, insisting he had ''nothing against trans people'' but that Polanski's inability to define basic biological terms was ''a huge problem for someone leading a party in this country.''
That's when Polanski went full activist. ''A woman is a gender,'' he declared, dismissing Morgan's statement that ''a woman is a biological female.''
''Gender is complicated,'' Polanski insisted. ''Gender is a spectrum.''
Morgan wasn't having it. ''It's not complicated. A woman is a biological female,'' he replied. But Polanski pushed back again, claiming, ''People aren't necessarily born male and female,'' a line that prompted an exasperated ''Oh, for God's sake'' from Morgan.
When Morgan pointed out that no serious leader could win over voters while denying basic reality, Polanski boasted that his Green Party was ''the most favorable party in London right now.'' Morgan fired back, ''Why don't you start going out tomorrow with your big campaign that women can have penises? See how you get on.''

Instead of defending his stance, Polanski tried to pivot to economic inequality, claiming people ''don't care about the conversation we've had.'' Morgan reminded him that women's rights — not activist talking points — are what matter to voters. But Polanski brushed it off again, insisting that people just ''want to put food on the table'' and saying, ''let's not talk about trans women specifically.''
Morgan replied, ''You just did.''
By the end of the segment, Polanski doubled down: ''You said, 'Can a woman have a penis?' and I said yes— of course a woman can have a penis.''
Morgan summed up what most viewers were thinking: ''It's complete bulls***t.''
Polanski fired back, ''When were you a doctor or an expert in women's rights or science?'' Morgan replied that the U.K. Supreme Court had already made it ''crystal clear what a woman is.'' Polanski's response? ''Well, yes, actually. In this case, yes, I do [know better].''

Polanski is pushing doublethink straight out of 1984. He might sound delusional but he is actually extremely dangerous. He doesn't really care about women's penises. His goal is to force you to believe whatever he says. No matter how ridiculous it is, no matter what he told you yesterday, you MUST believe whatever he says now without question. [THEFEDERALIST] The Pennsylvania Department of State, continuing to defy common sense, is back in court defending its illogical 2018 directive instructing county election boards not to bother verifying mismatched identification at voter registration.
Wannabe voters in Pennsylvania must provide either a driver's license or a Social Security number when registering to vote. The federal Help America Vote Act, HAVA, requires county election officials to collect these identifying numbers and compare them with government databases. Traditionally in Pennsylvania, when the numbers didn't match, it meant the voter's identity could not be verified and the voter registration request was denied.
But in 2018, then-Secretary of the Commonwealth Robert Torres issued a directive prohibiting county elections officials from rejecting voter registration applications just because the information applicants provide doesn't match the government databases officials use to verify Social Security numbers or driver's license numbers. Pennsylvania's current secretary of the commonwealth, Al Schmidt, continues to defend the 2018 directive.
This means potential voters can provide a bogus number on the application form, become a registered voter anyway, and cast a vote. Pennsylvania requires voter ID only the first time a voter shows up in a new district, but that ID can be a current utility bill or the voter registration card the county issues when it approves the registration.
The issue has been challenged in Pennsylvania before and failed, according to Justin Riemer, president of Restoring Integrity and Trust in Elections (RITE), the group handling the current case on behalf of Robert Rossman, a Potter County commissioner and member of the Potter County Board of Elections. Previous cases have hinged on the HAVA requirements, but this case has a new argument.
While HAVA requires the collection of Social Security numbers or driver's license numbers, it ultimately defers to state law to decide what happens if those numbers don't match in the database. RITE argues that state law requires mismatched applications to be rejected.
Act 3 of 2002 prohibits ''approval of a voter registration that has not been properly completed, or includes information that is inconsistent,'' court papers say. ''Instead, under such circumstances, county registration officials — like Commissioner Rossman — are obligated by law to take certain steps to ascertain the necessary information and, if after reasonable effort, the defect cannot be resolved, they are required to reject.''

[PJMEDIA] Abigail Spanberger's campaign for governor of Virginia took a major hit Wednesday night when she refused—repeatedly—to answer a simple question during the Virginia gubernatorial debate: does she still endorse Jay Jones for attorney general after his violent text messages came to light?
The exchange, moderated by Deanna Allbrittin of WRIC, was terrible for Spanberger as she twisted herself into rhetorical knots to avoid giving a clear answer. Her opponent, Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, wasted no time pointing out what everyone watching could see—Spanberger was dodging.
It began when the moderator tried to clarify an earlier non-answer. ''Thank you, Ms. Spanberger. I just— I didn't hear an answer there on the endorsement issue, so I wanted to just make sure,'' she said.
''Exactly,'' Earle-Sears interjected.
Then came the question that Spanberger never managed to answer: ''Will you continue to endorse Jay Jones to be the next attorney general of Virginia? And were you aware of these text messages before they released? You have 30 seconds.''
Spanberger immediately launched into a meandering response that seemed more focused on process than substance. ''Uh, in fact, it appears that it was the, uh, those who released the text messages and held them for years, so the public was unaware, who had knowledge of these—''
''When did you know?'' Earle-Sears pressed.
''And what did you do about it?'' she added, refusing to let Spanberger off the hook.
Spanberger eventually claimed, ''I learned of these text messages the day that they came out, and I denounced them as soon as I learned of them," and continued to try to pivot away from the question, insisting that ''the voters now have this information, information that was withheld from them—presumably for political reasons.''
It was a classic Democrat move—attack the timing, question the motives, and hope no one notices that you're dodging the substance. Rather than take responsibility or show moral clarity, Spanberger did what Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy,white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... in trouble always do: try to make the scandal about the people who exposed it instead of the one who caused it.
Of course, Earle-Sears wasn't having it. ''You're running to be governor,'' she reminded Spanberger pointedly.
But the Democrat continued to filibuster. ''The voters now have the information, and it is up to voters, uh, to make an individual choice based on this information,'' she said, sidestepping the actual question about her personal endorsement.
The moderator pressed once more: ''Ms. Spanberger, I understand what you're saying about the voters, but for you yourself, do you still continue to endorse Jay Jones? Fifteen seconds, yes or no.''
Spanberger still wouldn't commit: ''I—. We are all running our individual races. I believe my opponent has said that about her lieutenant governor nominee.''
Earle-Sears didn't miss a beat: ''Third time is a charm, Abigail.''
Even after multiple attempts by the moderator to get her to clarify her response, Spanberger refused to answer. ''I am running my race to serve Virginia, and that is what I intend to do,'' she said.
''So, to clarify,'' the moderator said one last time, ''you're saying that, as of now, you still endorse Jay Jones as attorney general?''
Spanberger replied with yet another dodge: ''I'm saying, as of now, it's up to every voter to make their own individual decision. I am running for governor. I am accountable for the words that I say—''
''That would mean she still endorses him,'' Earle-Sears interjected.

Spanberger also looks like Jada the White Witch of Narnia. There is something wrong there. She looks like overcooked spaghetti. I’m not sure that Virginians want to look at her closely for four years because politician’s appearances degrade quickly due to the corrosive nature of politics. She is hideous enough already. Folks are going to have to put a mirror on their coffee table so that they only look at her image indirectly. By the end of 4 years she will look like Murkowski.

[POLITI] Katie Porter's ''unhappy experience'' in a viral interview has become the news cycle from hell.
The bipartisan pile-on following the widely-circulated clip of her contentious sit-down with a local CBS news reporter was only hours old when a new video surfaced from POLITICO of the former House member berating a staffer in 2021 — the two clips fueling long-simmering concerns about her temperament and judgment.
Together, they suddenly boiled over into the broader political zeitgeist, raising questions about just how durable Porter's lead in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,'s gubernatorial race really is.
''Is this a disaster? Yes,'' said Gale Kaufman, a veteran Democratic strategist based in Sacramento. ''And the reason it's a disaster is because it amplifies what her reputation already is.''
Porter's Democratic rivals, smelling blood in the water, quickly seized on the former congresswoman's wince-worthy television appearance. Antonio Villaraigosa took the unusual step of purchasing three-minute ads in the Sacramento market to run the entirety of Porter's tense exchange with CBS reporter Julie Watts. Stephen J. Cloobeck released a digital ad knocking Porter for past inflammatory comments. Xavier Becerra and Tony Thurmond highlighted their own, less-incendiary, responses to Watts' questions. And Betty Yee called on Porter to drop out.
''As the last viable female candidate in this race, it matters to me that California's first female governor be a trusted, respected leader we can all be proud of — not a viral embarrassment,'' Yee said in a statement. ''Women in politics are still held to higher standards, and Katie Porter has clearly failed that test.''
On Wednesday, the Porter campaign dismissed the effect of the episodes on her frontrunner status.
''Californians are hungry for a governor who they trust can fight for them against Trump,'' Peter Opitz, a campaign spokesperson, said in a statement. ''They know from her work taking on powerful interests in Washington that Katie is never going to be shy about calling out bullshit, and that is why every poll shows Katie firmly in the lead.''

It featured JB Pritzker, the Governor of Illinois, and our own Tim Walz. Walz is a lot like Pritzker, except for the billionaire part. Pritzker and Walz portrayed themselves as valiant resistance fighters:

The Democratic governors of Minnesota and Illinois also said they fear the Trump administration will try to use military and National Guard troops to target ''blue cities'' in ''blue states'' during the run up to the 2026 midterm elections as a way to suppress Democratic voter turnout.
The National Guard has been deployed to protect ICE personnel and assets from violent attacks by members of the governors' party. Will the presence of National Guard troops ''suppress Democratic voter turnout''? Yes, to the extent that such turnout consists of illegal aliens.
Pritzker and Walz described Trump as a tyrant and ''autocrat'' during the 45-minute discussion they had with New York Times

Lerer spent much of her time focusing on the governors' shared concern over the Trump administration's use of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and deployment of the National Guard to quell violence in Portland and Chicago in recent days.
Of course she did.
''Do you both believe you sincerely could be arrested?'' Lerer asked at one point.
''I am asking any of you to come visit me in the gulag in El Salvador,'' Pritzker said.
Lerer laughed, and then Walz interjected.
''Yes. In all seriousness, yes,'' Walz said, later adding it was not a question of whether Trump wanted to arrest him, but ''how easy'' it might be to do so.

For what it's worth, I am pretty sure President Trump is happy to have Tim Walz on the loose, acting as a principal face of the Democratic Party.
Pritzker, who claimed he ''is not a conspiracy theorist,'' then said he believes Trump will ramp up the use of the military to target ''blue cities in blue states'' for a ''much more nefarious reason that he is not stating,'' aside from ''being out of his mind and having dementia.''
