[JustTheNews] The State Department is pledging to "access resources for gender dysphoria and gender transition care" for its employees who are stationed in foreign countries and their families.
The initiative is part of the agency's "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Strategic Plan" for 2022 through 2026.
According to the State Department's DEIA Strategic Plan, the agency will "increase support for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) employees and family members" and "assess resources for gender dysphoria and gender transition care at posts for employees and their dependents."
The LGBTQI portion of the strategic plan also includes increasing "gender-neutral restrooms and locker rooms in overseas facilities."
The agency also said it would "evaluate and ensure inclusion and safety policies and procedures for LGBTQI+ children at overseas schools in collaboration with the educational accreditation agencies and provide mechanisms for social-emotional support."
The strategic plan was released by the "Secretary's Office of Diversity and Inclusion."
Republican lawmakers have argued that tax dollars should not be used for gender transition care.
"The facts are simple," said Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.), according to the Washington Free Beacon. "Biden’s policies exploit and harm children to promote his political agenda. These experimental and irreversible treatments on children shouldn’t be tolerated, let alone promoted."

Good, another exposing these pedophile groomer accounts. We need a thousand of them.
This is insane. What, you're going to be 29 years old and decide you don't want to be a girl any more and then suddenly go through puberty? I call bullshit.

Definitely the water. And "nutrition." Probably.
Oh, how to spend Saturday morn?
America's children are torn
Between anime, games,

And an orgy of 'orrible pr0n.
Or, for budding activists and "challenge" participants, social media! So... pretty much like any other morning.

Lockdown and peer pressure; add some substance abuse to really get things moving.
Even Daily Mail here, after tut-tutting the cartoon, goes on to peer-pressure educate the reader that this is a normal thing which only H8TRS would oppose.

I can see the $$$$$$$ expended on IT Disaster Recovery efforts and the 100's of Hard Drives headed to Data Recovery service companies.(eg. ONTRACK) with Class 100 clean rooms.
[UPI] The United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... is considering sending armed troops to Haiti following a request from the country's government, U.N. officials confirmed on Sunday night. "Bring condoms"
U.N. chief António Guterres said the agency is considering deploying armed forces "to help the country address immense humanitarian concerns."
Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry made the request for help to the larger international community as a whole over the weekend because of "the risk of a major humanitarian crisis." Ariel asked for a "specialized armed force" to intervene.
Guterres sent a letter to the U.N. Security Council outlining various options for enhanced security support. Haiti is dealing with rising cases of cholera after having none for three years, and continual violence perpetrated by numerous different gangs.
The situation has tanked since then president Jovenel Moïse was assassinated in his home in 2021.
Last month, gangs blockaded Haiti's main fuel port, leading to gas and diesel shortages, and causing businesses and hospitals to shut down.
The U.S. State Department confirmed on Saturday that it was also reviewing the request.
"We are closely following the worsening health and security situation in Haiti, particularly the ongoing actions by criminal actors that impede urgent measures to address the threat posed by the spread of cholera to the Haitian population," department spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement.

I would like to see the Dominicans take care of Haitian security going forward. My plan follows the principles of subsidiarity and will reduce response times to the 5 yearly Haitian disasters.

I think we need to ask the question:
"How a nuclear exchange with Haiti could help solve Global Warming."

1964 Peacekeeping mission in Cyprus is still ongoing. Some places are broken and will never get fixed, and Haiti would be the poster-child for this.
Haiti is a failed nation state and NOT a part of the United States, despite the Clinton's efforts. Aside from graft and corruption, there is not a single national security interest of the United States that warrants US involvement! Enough moronic virtue-signaling by the moronic children at Foggy Bottom. The credit card is maxxed out at $32 trillion!!!!!!!!!!!

Been there done that. After the Duvaliers and Tonton Macoute - was nobody theere alive in the 1980's and 1990's? Does anyone read or know history? Operation Uphold Democracy ring a bell?
This goes all the way back to Woodrow Wilson sending the Marines in to help the banks in 1915.
Why are we even thinking about going in again? Until Haitian society changes, and they get desperate enough to change, nothing there will change. Just let them feed each other to the dogs.

The entire nuclear powered world needs a mark, a target to evaluate and analyse the effectiveness of their arsenal and delivery systems. We have all let ourselves be paralysed into nuke flaccidity by the boo hoo hoo after Hiroshima. Some asswipe acquires nukes nowadays, no telling what he could do. WMDs, even conventional defence capability should be for only responsible societies not bloodthirsty imbeciles. Such people should be instantly converted to Pokèmon gamers.
I think NKorea is a perfect mark. Of course Pakistain would be my favourite. Such an action would also establish dominance over the Asian paper tigers for the next generation at least. People would walk softly and play nice. And nobody would miss NKorea seriously.

#Austria’s President Alexander Van der Bellen secures a second six-year term in office by winning more than 50 percent of the vote in an election to avoid a runoff, according to initial projections issued after voting closed.https://t.co/7zFBntRW1v
Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen secured a second six-year term in office by winning more than 50 percent of the vote in an election on Sunday to avoid a runoff, according to initial projections issued soon after voting closed.
Neither of the main centrist parties fielded candidates in the election, and senior figures from both backed Van der Bellen, a 78-year-old former leader of the Greens. The far-right Freedom Party was the only party in parliament to put forward a candidate against the president.
A projection by pollster SORA for national broadcaster ORF, based on a partial count of 64.8 percent of votes, put Van der Bellen on 55.4 percent with a margin of error of 1.9 percentage points. His nearest rival was the Freedom Party’s Walter Rosenkranz on 18.4 percent.
Initial projections in Austria, based on the count from the polling stations that closed earlier in the day, have proved reliable in the past. The last polling stations to close include those in the cities of Vienna and Innsbruck.
The Austrian president largely performs a ceremonial role, but also has sweeping powers that mean overseeing periods of transition and turbulence. Van der Bellen has built up a reputation for having a steady hand and calm manner, particularly in times of crisis. “Let’s vote for him — he’s not a hysteric!”
[NYP] Former Democratic House member and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard announced she was leaving the party Tuesday — blasting it as an "an elitist cabal" driven by "cowardly wokeness."
"I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution," Gabbard, 41, said in a searing video posted on Twitter.
Gabbard, who gave up her House seat representing Hawaii to run for president in 2020, condemned the progressive party for being "hostile to people of faith and spirituality" while demonizing the police and protecting criminals "at the expense of law-abiding Americans."
She then accused party leaders of weaponizing national security "to go after their political opponents, and above all, who are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war."

I guess she hit the plunger on the C4 charges attached to that bridge. I think we can rule her out of any guest appearance on The View as well.

Tulsi has proven to the globalist elites that control our candidates, that she is politically unreliable. Tulsi better find religion regarding the 2A if she's ever going to gain any traction w/the America First crowd.

Have fun wandering in the desert Tulsi. Remember when you met with Butcher Assad and ruined your career? Now it's totally gone, not just mostly.

Also, a lucid and logical sounding individual even if some of her opinions are way left and others are just odd.

Ms Gabbard stepped down from her House seat to run for president in 2020, and has not run for anything since. It will be interesting to see if she gets back on that horse in 2024, or chooses instead to continue with her podcast and Fox News appearances as a public intellectual.

The whole article was republicans pounce. No real discussion on why or how the shootings can be reduced. Could be the worst offenders are currently in prison, could be the gangs have better lookouts so drive-bys are less effective this year. Could be they've shifted to meth and everyone is so stoned they have less time to kill each other. Could be they are making more money smashing into stores and grabbing everything than fighting each other.
Lots of things could have caused the drop in murders. Yet the rate is still insanely high.

It's because it's getting cold.
Chicago crime increases greatly in the summer, and decreases in winter. Because winter is fucking cold, and gang bangers don't like freezing their asses off any more than we do.

For some reason, your link had both the Rantburg site, then the HJA site, NN2N1.
Sometimes that’s because Fred’s code sometimes overreacts to the hotlink URL being in quotes, as the icon does automatically. I have no idea why this is only sometimes a problem.
[Defense News] WASHINGTON — The U.S. Army will build larger formations outfitted with high-tech capabilities geared toward near-peer adversaries, Secretary Christine Wormuth told an audience Oct. 10 at the Association of the U.S. Army annual conference in Washington, D.C.
"After two decades of counterinsurgency and counterterrorism operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, focused on brigade and below operations, the Army is shifting its organizational focus to larger formations more capable of integrating with our sister services and our allies and partners around the globe," Wormuth said.
The Army has learned through extensive study and analysis of recent conflicts, exercises, simulations and training, she said, that brigade commanders give their attention to the close fight. To facilitate that, "division and corps commanders will have the responsibility and the capability to visualize the larger picture," Wormuth said.
The service will build up personnel, organizations and equipment within theater armies, corps and divisions needed "to disrupt and defeat peer adversaries on the future battlefield," she added.
"These force structure redesigns go well beyond building [security force assistance brigades] and the additional multidomain task forces," she explained.
The Army created those brigades in 2017 to deploy around the globe for training, advising and assisting foreign militaries. There are six of them: Five are in an active duty status and assigned to each combatant command; the sixth is a National Guard unit.
The Multi-Domain Task Force originally began as an experimental unit deployed to Indo-Pacific Command to test out the multidomain operations warfighting concept as the Army worked to transform it into doctrine. The service is debuting that doctrine at AUSA.
Now, the service plans to stand up five MDTFs. It has one in the Indo-Pacific Command’s area of responsibility and another in the European theater; it activated a third in the Pacific last month.

“We trained hard—but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams we were reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing, and what a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while actually producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization.”
