[GEO.TV] An army major among two soldiers embraced martyrdom while five bad boyz were potted during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... ’s Zhob District, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Monday.
According to the military’s media affairs wing, the security forces conducted an operation in the general Sambaza area of Zhob District on the night between October 8 and 9, on the reported presence of terrorists.
"During the conduct of the operation, snuffies were surrounded and after an intense exchange of fire, five snuffies were sent to hell," the ISPR added.
However, if you can't say something nice about a person some juicy gossip will go well... during the shooting, Major Syed Ali Raza Shah, 31 — who was leading the operation from the front — and Havaldar Nisar Ahmed 28, having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.
"The security forces of Pakistain are indebted and proud of our brave men and pay homage to their chivalry and sacrifices for the motherland, which further strengthens our resolve to uproot the menace of terrorism from the country," read the statement.
The ISPR further said that sanitisation of the surrounding areas is being conducted to eliminate any other snuffies found in the area.
Last month, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir had said the forces of evil would continue to face the full might of the state after a suicide kaboom in Balochistan's Mastung district killed 59 people.
A jacket wallah Friday targeted people gearing up for a procession related to Eid Miladun Nabi — the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PTUI!) — near a mosque in the Mastung district.
"... snuffies and their controllers, having no link with religion and ideology, are proxies of the enemies of Pakistain and its people. These forces of evil will continue to face the full might of the state and security forces backed by a resilient nation," the army chief had said.
According to the COAS, the Pak people have rejected terrorists' "pseudo ideology and propaganda of their backers and they are fully committed to peace, economic progress, and human development, which indeed is causing [a] lot of distress to forces of evil in and outside of Pakistain".

[Red State] In a call with U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Abbas reportedly asked the U.N. to "immediately intervene" to stop the ongoing "Israeli aggression," Palestinian news agency WAFA reported Monday night.
Abbas urged Guterres and the U.N. to "carry out its duties recognized by international legitimacy and provide international protection for the Palestinian people," WAFA reported.
Abbas’s request comes after Israel’s defense minister ordered a "complete siege" on the Gaza Strip as Israel ramps up its counteroffensive against Palestinian militant group Hamas, which launched a deadly incursion into Israel over the weekend.
This is what the Palestinians do, and to be fair, they do it because it works. Hamas, the elected leadership in the Gaza Strip, carried out the most barbaric attack on Jews since the Holocaust. It doesn't matter what one thinks of the situation between Israel and the Palestinian territories or how one side or the other could have done things differently to this point. If one side murders upwards of a thousand people in cold blood on camera as part of a literal invasion and then cheers in the streets, there will be retribution. There's no way around that.

Spray Gaza from the air with pig shot and then carpet bomb it with napalm and FAE. Execute all Hamas prisoners on tv and have Mossad kill every paleo at the UN. No mercy or quarter for the pigmonkey paleo vermin.
Israel it hurts I know but show the world exactly what they are. With the reports coming out out now, if this happened here every mosque in the US would be burnt to the ground by days end.

"If one side murders upwards of a thousand people in cold blood on camera as part of a literal invasion and then cheers in the streets, there will be retribution."
There was a military response to 9/11; but it was supposed to be a therapeutic intervention, not a punitive raid.
This is why "Infinite Justice" was demoted renamed to "Enduring Freedom."

The most sickening part of this war fever is not that people tragically accept that innocent children have to die, but that they get gleefully excited by it as it’s happening.
I bet before today, you would hold in contempt anyone who got happy and excited about children being murdered.
To further prove how mind numbingly dumb posters are, a significant proportion of people on the net are currently making excuses about why the mass murderers they support are different from the mass murderers they oppose.

French journalist at major outlet confirms the beheading of babies at a kibutz in Israel at the hands of Hamas, saying she has seen images of the atrocities and has cross-checked them, and her colleagues saw the bodies as well.
[Townhall] October 7 was a national nightmare for Israel. The day was marked by a catastrophic terrorist attack that left hundreds of Israelis dead—a shock to the national psyche. This day was Israel’s 9/11, Tet Offensive, and Pearl Harbor rolled up into one.
Thanks to assistance and training from Iran, this attack by Hamas, which was several weeks in the making, began with a hellacious rocket barrage that provided cover for a sophisticated land, air, and sea assault along the Gaza border. Around 1,000 terrorists invaded Southern Israel, which led to hours of slaughter, rape, and kidnappings.
Hamas took at least 100 Israelis hostage. The images and videos were ghastly. Entire families were wiped out. In Kibbutz Be'eri, over 100 bodies were discovered, including babies. Hamas went door-to-door, killing as many Israelis as they could find. They tried to wipe out whole towns here (via Times of Israel):

"Israel Loosens Strict Gun Control Laws To Arm ‘As Many Citizens As Possible’"
In that dangerous part of the world, after all the history and existential threats, who did this to them? Thank God the 2A is still embraced here, because thanks to the invasion, this horror is a coming attraction for us!

"The survey stated that American civilians account for an estimated 393 million (about 46 percent) of the worldwide total of civilian held firearms, or about 120.5 firearms for every 100 American residents."
"Thirty-two percent of U.S. adults say they personally own a gun, while a larger percentage, 44%, report living in a gun household. Adults living in gun households include those with a gun in their home or anywhere on their property.
Gallup has tracked both metrics of gun ownership annually since 2007, showing no clear increase or decrease in gun ownership over that time."

When those two dudes loaded up the execution wound Israeli and drove him back to the hood so everyone could jump around like a bunch of Kansas City Faggots, this was in the coming.
As said in a previous thread, hostages were dead as soon as they were abducted.
This is Mahmoud Abourjila.
He is one of the killers of 22 year old German Israeli Shani Louk.
He took part in parading her naked dead body on a Hamas pick up truck.
The other killers will be identified soon. I mentioned the other day that these pigf***ers were going to regret taking selfies
This is Shani Louk.
A 30 year old woman with dual German-Israeli citizenship.
She spent her last day on earth dancing at a music festival in Israel.
Her last hours in this world were spent being kidnapped, brutally r*ped, tortured and having her legs snapped in two.
[Daniel Greenfield] As highly civilized people, we're lost touch with some basic concepts. Like war.
We complain that we never win wars anymore, but that's because we don't fight them. Instead we have limited interventions against insurgents. We try to stabilize failed states. Sometimes we go in, take out a few terrorists and then go back home. Veterans, whose wounds are very real, sit around wondering what it was all for. So do the families of the men who died fighting in a war that was never a war.
To win a war, you have to fight one.
If your enemy is fighting a war and you're fighting something less than a war, the enemy will win.
Police actions, nation building exercises and the like have vague and poorly defined objectives, while wars have very clear ones.

US officers Bellinger & Martin issued a report in almost exactly predicting how the Pearl Harbor attack would happen. In March 1941. Submitted to high command, which completely ignored it.
Also heard from a distant cousin was an US intelligence office on the front line vs the North Vietnamese just before the Tet Offensive. He found detailed documentation of the upcoming attack on the body of a North Vietnamese officer. He had it translated & summarized. Got a personal appointment with Gen. Westmoreland. Westy glance at it, sneered, waved it away, saying "They can't do that." Failed warnings seem to be the rule more than the exception.

Everyone is calling the recent Hamas attack an intelligence failure. I wonder. We have news that Egypt warned Israel, so at a minimum they knew. The Biden Admin was in a hurry to transfer $6B to Iran before this happened. If they knew, which is not out of the question, then they would have wanted to get that transfer done before the attack. Otherwise, it would have become politically untenable. Russia knew and so did Iran. They both helped put this together.
But what about Israel? They are usually on top of things in their own neighborhood. And an attack at this scale would have taken a lot of time and effort to put together. Men, money and equipment moving at a large scale, for months, but Israel didn’t notice? Well, obviously. If Israel knew this was coming, they would have taken action to prevent it. Right? But what if they didn’t?
Imagine you are Netanyahu. Imagine years of political instability, constant claims of corruption, national riots. Much of this funded by liberals in the West who hate your country. You get word that Hamas is planning a large attack. What if you let it happen? Without anything to hold them back Hamas will go too far. Way too far. Hundreds, possibly thousands, will die. Many of them will come from other Western nations. International sentiment will be on your side. Russia can’t do anything to help Hamas. Biden is too weak to stop you. And if you plan it well, the whole thing will be over before the international community can get enough support together to demand the usual ceasefire. In one grand act you have dealt with Gaza and united your country.

#2 If that was the story, it'll come out - and Bibi would know that it'll come out.
You wanna explanation? There was a warning, and political rank ignored it - for two reasons:
(1) There are lots of warning of this type - if Israel responded to each, we'd collapse long ago.
(2) Underestimate of Arabs' stupidity. It's difficult to believe but they were confident that USA will not allow Israel to respond appropriately.
#4
^ If that be the case, I hope they've planned it well and can take it up to the outcome they envisioned.
But I don't think that's what happened. I think they were caught napping. I think they've been complacent and got too busy in the nitty gritty of representative democracy to focus on the priorities. And mossad's in too many projects, from pakistain to Hawaii. They just let the ball slip.

#2 makes a lot of sense here. There's no way to put together something this big without it being known. Therefore, it was allowed to go forward because of the desirable second-order effects.
It's the same reason US intelligence knew about 9/11 but did nothing. It was an outstanding excuse to start the wars they were itching to start for years.
[The Federalist] Israel, the tiny democracy in the Middle East with terrorists along all its borders, has more stringent gun-control laws than anywhere in the United States. Unlike our Second Amendment, there is no recognition of the right to keep and bear arms.
After the horrific terrorist attack by Hamas from Gaza, Israel’s government suddenly made it slightly easier for its citizens to own firearms for self-defense.
Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir announced Sunday in Hebrew an emergency declaration that will "allow as many citizens as possible to arm themselves." Currently, a mere 1.5 percent of the civilian population has a license to own a gun.
EMERGENCY GUN POLICY
Ben-Gvir’s emergency policies for the Firearm Licensing Department went into effect in 24 hours.
The laws that require proving "a need" to own and carry a gun have not changed. However those eligible to apply for a license under the "self-defense test" can now do the required interview on the phone instead of in person. The applicant will be approved for the license within a week under the new order.
[GEO.TV] Fears of ground invasion are growing as Israel is escalating measures against the Hamas ...the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... -controlled Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Strip to a "total blockade" including a ban on the supply of food and fuel to war-ravaged Paleostinians in the resource-strapped Arab country. Sure could use those greenhouses Sharon left behind right about now?
According to Israel's foreign ministry, at least 1,000 Israelis, including civilian and security forces, have been killed by Hamas, while Paleostine's health ministry has put the tally of martyred Gazooks at 687, injuring 3,727.
HAMAS THREATENS TO EXECUTE HOSTAGES Meanwhile, ...back at the comedy club, Boogie was cracking himself up, but nobody else seemed to be getting the non-stop jokes... al-Jazeera reported that Hamas's Qassam Brigades had said they would start executing Israeli civilian hostages and broadcast the execution live if Israel dropped another bomb on civilian residential areas without any prior warning.
"Any targeting of innocent civilians without warning will be met regretfully by executing one of the captives in our custody, and we will be forced to broadcast this execution," said Abu Obeida, a front man for Hamas' Qassam Brigades told al-Jazeera.
"We regret this decision but we hold the Zionist enemy [Israel] and their leadership the responsibility for this," he said while talking to al-Jazeera Arabic.
ISRAEL'S BIGGEST MOBILISATION
Israeli defence minister Yoav Gallant on Monday described the move as part of a battle against the Paleostinian group as Israel's troops were still battling Monday to clear out Hamas button men more than two days after they burst across the fence from Gaza on a deadly rampage.
The Israeli army said it would soon go on the offensive after the biggest mobilisation in Israeli history.
METICULOUS DECEPTION
Hamas executed a meticulous two-year campaign of deception that caught Israel off guard during a devastating attack, marking the worst breach in Israel's defences since 1973.
The group concealed its military intentions while presenting an image of economic focus. They trained openly, mocked military preparations, and showed restraint in prior operations, lulling Israel into complacency.
Israel shifted its focus away from Hamas, failing to detect their plan. Hamas avoided leaks and executed a multifaceted attack, exploiting Israeli weaknesses.
The consequences led Israel to vow the destruction of Hamas, emphasising the need to address the threat posed by the group.

Israel has made a major mistake
I just remember that few months ago Israel was down 80% on their ammo, the rounds the US took from Israeli stockpiles to give to Ukraine cannot be substituted on the fly ,they basically can't sustain combined armed warfare, the 2014 Gaza war took 34,000 rounds of artillery alone.
Even if they have hundreds of thousands left, they can only use a fraction of them on Gaza since they need enough that they could fight a high intensity war with Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon if they intervene... let alone if Iran and Iraq and the Taliban and Yemeni start sending forces Most likely the main object of this suicide attack by HAMAS is to seriously deplete the IDF ammo stockpiles as well as to internationalize a frozen conflict.

[NYPOST] Rep. Ilhan Omar ...Somali-American Dem representative from Minnesota. She was apparently married to her brother and may be her own grandmaw on her mother's side... elicited outrage Monday with a public entreaty for the US to shift from giving Israel "unconditional weapons sales and military aid" to diplomacy.
Omar (D-Minn.) — a member of the so-called "Squad" — also harped on the plight of the Paleostinians and suggested that Israel’s retaliation against terrorist group Hamas ...a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",... might be a "war crime."
"The Israeli Defense Minister has called Paleostinians ’human animals’ and promised to cut off all electricity, all food, and all fuel to civilians in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... ," Omar wrote in a lengthy threat on X, formerly Twitter.
"This is collective punishment, a war crime, and the U.S. should oppose any violations of international law if we truly support a rules-based international order," she continued.
The 41-year-old congresswoman who’s long been a vocal critic of Israel’s settlement policies and defender of the Paleostinians, further argued, "the solution to this horror, as ever, is a negotiated peace."
"Instead of continuing unconditional weapons sales and military aid to Israel, I urge the United States at long last to use its diplomatic might to push for peace," she stressed.
Her remarks struck a nerve among detractors who ripped her call for peace just after the deadly attack on Israel that has killed well over 1,000.
"Israel was just brutally attacked by terrorists, funded by Iran, and you want to cut off funding and military aid and equipment," Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) fired back.
"You are out of your mind and unfit to serve in the House of Representatives. This is why you were removed from the Foreign Affairs committee."
Omar was booted from the House Foreign Affairs Committee earlier this year following the GOP takeover of the lower chamber.
Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy ...the GOP house majority leader. His primary accomplishment to date has been first to hold on to power against a conservative revolt and then to order an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter’s business deals. At that point he lost his job when he was run over by loose cannon Matt Gaetz. This was what's known in the intelligence profession as evidence something or other... (R-Calif.) cited her past comments on Israel as justification.
"Ilhan Omar and the squad using the days after Israel faced the largest terror attack in its history and the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust to call for cutting off military aid to those who were attacked," an account named AG said.
"Ilhan calls for the U.S. to abandon Israel as Hamas parades rape victims survivors throught the streets of Gaza. May God have mercy on your soul," Mediate writer Isaac Schorr chimed in.
"This is the literal definition of negotiating with terrorists," Gates McGavick, Legal Communications Director at Republican National Committee, said.
Omar became the first female Moslem elected to the House of Representatives alongside Rep. Rashida Tlaib ...the first ever Paleostinian-American ever sworn into Congress in 2019. She is a member of The Squad and consistently votes against the U.S. national interest. SDhe's a Dem, naturally, from a safe district you wouldn't want to live in (Michigan's 12th congressional district). She wants the country to be kinda like Gaza only without any Jews for neighbors... (D-Mich.) in 2019.
Tlaib, the first Paleostinian member of the lower chamber, described Israel’s policies toward the Paleostinians as an "apartheid system" on Sunday while emphasizing that she grieves both the "Paleostinian and Israeli lives lost."
"The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance," Tlaib said.
In contrast to Tlaib, Omar quickly denounced Hamas’ deadly assault the Jewish State that began Saturday.
"I condemn the horrific acts we are seeing unfold today in Israel against children, women, the elderly, and the unarmed people who are being slaughtered and taken hostage by Hamas," Omar said at the time.
Omar on Monday also underscored that residents of Gaza overwhelmingly live in acute poverty and are mostly comprised of children.

It's no use. We're under the control of Israel. The US will continue to serve them, no matter what. Traitorous elites place their interests above our own. How many people know we give Israel billions in foreign aid every year? As if they're some kind of poor country.
Yes, Israel is committing war crimes. Yes, Israel is an apartheid state. None of this matters. We're being controlled like a marionette.
The ADL gets to censor us online, because if we were free to speak, we'd realize this.

Ma’ayan Adam, 36, a television host who appeared on Israel’s version of "Dancing With The Stars" and anchors a news program on one of the country’s popular TV stations, posted a heartbreaking message to her 300,000 Instagram followers announcing the death of her 27-year-old sister, Mapal Adam.
According to her sister, Mapal Adam was killed while being held by her boyfriend, who suffered gunshot wounds to the back.
He is reportedly expected to survive.
"On Saturday afternoon, in this idyllic setting, Mapal, our baby, hid underneath a truck and pretended as if she were dead," Ma’ayan Adam wrote in a message on Instagram that included a photo of her sister’s cell phone.
The phone seen in the photo flashed an image of a photograph taken from what appears to be underneath a vehicle.

[NYPOST] A young Israeli couple was murdered by Hamas ...a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",... hard boyz who broke into their home — but not before the parents hid their 10-month-old twins, who were found alive about 14 hours later, according to reports.
Itai and Hadar Berdichevsky, both 30, were attacked in their home in Kfar Gaza, a kibbutz in southern Israel located about three miles east of Gaza, according to Israeli outlet Walla.
The parents, who hid their babies in a bomb shelter, tried to fight off the hard boyz but were murdered, the news outlet reported.
Israeli troops rescued the unharmed babies about 14 hours later and handed them to their grandmother.
The unprecedented attack by Hamas on Saturday has left more than 1,000 dead on both sides.
Fighters from the Islamist group killed at least 800 Israelis, left about 2,000 injured and kidnapped dozens more as they attacked Israeli communities in the deadliest onslaught the nation has seen since the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

Fake news …
I too have scanning the internet looking for confirmation videos of the Rave Music Massacre, but I cant find even one........very strange indeed?
No videos of ambulances arriving at Israeli hospitals either, despite the fact that there must have been many hundreds of wounded, if 260 were killed?
Cars abandoned with flat tires, but were not riddled with bullet holes.
Photos of the para glider commandoes landing, but no photos of them actually engaging any targets?
No cell phone videos at all of any killings?
Rave Music concert and no professional videographers present to record the event for future sale to the public?
Way too many unanswered questions here, but one is for certain the MSM is using this to run up war fever and their ratings. GW's cute little FOX talking poodle Dana Perino tonight was actually shouting about the "terrorists" and how Israel needed to "finish the job", which I assume to mean kill thousands of average Gazian peasants in their homes......what a media propaganda for war crimes show...its mass hesteria time....oh my!

I'm afraid all the news channels are full of pictures of Palestinian suffering - it's the same principle as liberal judges lenience toward criminals.
[ENGLISH.ALMANAR.LB] Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... Secretary General Ziad al-Nakhala .... born in Gaza in 1953, the longtime Paleostinian Islamic Jhad Number Two was called back from the organization’s base in Damascus in 2018 to take over the top spot until bossman Ramadan Shalah recovers from a coma... h delivered a powerful message Sunday night regarding the ongoing developments, asserting that ’Israel’ is now in a state of disarray and has reached out to its American allies for assistance, mere hours into the intensifying battle.
The Islamic Jihad leader revealed that the resistance faction currently holds over 30 Israeli captives who were kidnapped in the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. "The enemy is breaking, in fact, it has already broken. Our courageous people are encircling the military installations and settlements of the enemy." he said, adding "Our resolute people have, through their unwavering determination, brought a heavily armed enemy to its knees."
Nakhalah tackled the series of Israeli attacks on Gaza, saying "The enemy erroneously believes that by perpetrating civilian massacres, it can shatter our people’s resolve. The enemy seeks to bolster its confidence through the destruction of homes in Gaza and the tragic loss of innocent lives. However, if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning... this remains a fallacious illusion."

The newest slang propagating across the net: "Go full Israel on them."
Doesn't the US have an obligation to stop genocide no matter where it occurs in the world? No matter who's doing it?
It's why we got involved in Somalia and Serbia. Humanitarian reasons. No matter where a genocide is going on, it's our job to separate the two sides and put a stop to it.
I kinda like that! Goes well with "Mazel Tough".
Speaking of, just wait until the Juice start in with the space lasers. Like C-beams glittering in the dark...
[Jpost] Hamas warned that it would start executing hostages unless Israel stopped bombing Palestinian homes in Gaza without advance notice, amid an intense flurry of diplomatic activity to free the group of 100 Israeli and foreign captives which includes seniors and small children. If civilian casualties had been avoided, perhaps the Hated Zionist Entity® would be being a bit more fastidious, but they weren't, so they aren't.
Hamas armed wing spokesman Abu Obaida said they have been acting in accordance with Islamic instructions by keeping the Israeli captives safe and sound, blaming the threat to kill them on Israeli actions. In a world that made the least bit of sense, Abu Obaida would be signing his own death warrant in Type O with that statement.
The warning came as Israel prepared for a ground war in Gaza, Hamas continued to fire rockets at Israel, land battles between militants and the IDF continued in the South and violence broke out with Hezbollah and other terror groups along Israel’s northern border. ... all as coordinated, supplied by, and planned with The Persian Entity®.
The war, which the IDF has dubbed Operation Swords of Iron began on Saturday morning after Hamas assaulted the Southern border communities, killing over 900 people starting on Saturday morning. Going after a local attempt at Woodstock didn't really qualify as a military target, at least not under U.S. military doctrine. Maybe Russian. Certainly it's considered standard practice under Persian.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday night: “We are fighting for our home. We are in an existential war that we will win,” he said. Damn well better, Bub. If it ain't total, you ain't won.
“We always knew who Hamas was, now the whole world knows, Hamas is ISIS – and we will defeat it just as the civilized world defeated ISIS. This bitter enemy wanted war – and he will get war,” he said. We've seen this movie before. There's been a sequel each time.
Netanyahu said he has embarked on a series of steps such as restoring calm to the south, stopping infiltrations, striking at terror targets on Israel’s borders, seeking broad international support and reunifying the nation. He also called for a broad national emergency government. I think I'da trusted Sharon in his prime more, even if he did set up the current disaster when he gave Gaza to the Paleos in his dotage. It'd be nice if Moshe Dayan was still around too.
Israel planned to continue to strike at Hamas targets, Netanyahu said, as he thanked global leaders for their support, particularly US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass.... . Take the arms and ammunition. Ignore anything he says.
The United States has worked to prevent a multi-front war, with Biden scheduled to speak on the matter with key US allies. We saw that when they financed this one.
Should those efforts fail, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has said his country will send the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group to the Eastern Mediterranean, closer to Israel. The force includes the nuclear-powered carrier, a guided missile cruiser and four guided missile destroyers. They won't be involved, for fear of the Russians and probably Turkey.
Austin also said the US had taken steps to augment its Air Force F-35, F-15, F-16, and A-10 fighter aircraft squadrons in the region.
SECURING THE HOSTAGES
Securing the release of the hostages is seen as a first step toward restoring calm, after three days of war. Foreign Minister Eli Cohen confirmed that there were more than 100 hostages held in Gaza and the US has said that some of them are American citizens.
Coordinator for the Captives and Missing Brig.-Gen. (Ret.) Gal Hirsch, who was appointed to the task only on Sunday, said, “We are engaged in formulating a full assessment of the situation and are acting with full force to create an effective mechanism, an address for all families that are anxious for the fate of their loved ones. That's a Kamala-level word salad
“We are in the midst of a difficult war; the fighting is continuing and will continue,” Hirsch said.
A senior Israeli source rejected reports of hostage negotiations, despite stories of Egyptian, Qatari and Turkish efforts.
COMMENTS FROM UN SECRETARY-GENERAL ANTONIO GUTERRES
UN Secretary-General António Guterres
… who has no brigades…
condemned “the abhorrent attacks by Hamas and others against Israeli towns and villages in the Gaza periphery.
“I recognize the legitimate grievances of the Palestinian people. But nothing can justify these acts of terror and the killing, maiming and abduction of civilians.
“I reiterate my call to immediately cease these attacks and release all hostages,” Guterres said.
Still, he said, he was alarmed by the high casualty count from Israeli strike against Hamas in Gaza. There are “alarmed by reports of over 500 Palestinians – including women and children – killed in Gaza and over 3,000 injured.
“While I recognize Israel’s legitimate security concerns, I also remind Israel that military operations must be conducted in strict accordance with international humanitarian law,” he said.
He also took issue with Israel’s announcement that it was cutting electricity, fuel and water to Gaza, as well as preventing goods from exiting and entering the Strip, including food.
“The humanitarian situation in Gaza was extremely dire before these hostilities; now it will only deteriorate exponentially,” he said

who can tell what Ariel Sharon was feeling in 1967.
I was 30 then and had no relationships with any Palestinians. Perhaps he thought if they had some land of their own they would live in it peaceably.
Since then i have had dealings with 2 Palestinians and an Iranian. Bah! Ptooie!

Note that Hezbollah has very sophisticated means of attack - against civilian targets, but no defenses.
Their defense is, traditionally, provided by World Opinion: a combination of third worders, enlightened western governments (who conduct a war to extinction against their native populace), and Russia/China stiring the pot for strategic advantages.
[NAHARNET] Israeli strikes on south Leb ...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nastrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... killed three Hezbollah members Monday, the Lebanese group said, as tensions surged after Paleostinian forces of Evil tried to infiltrate into Israel from Lebanon.
The escalation on Israel's northern border with Lebanon comes two days after Hamas ...always the voice of sweet reason,... forces of Evil launched a historic multi-pronged attack on Israel's southern flank from the blockaded Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. Strip sparking a fierce war with Israel.
Hezbollah issued three separate statements confirming the death of its members, all of them "martyred as a result of the Zionist aggression on south Lebanon Monday afternoon," the group said.
The group retaliated by striking two Israeli barracks, it later said.
"Groups of the Islamic Resistance® (Hezbollah), in an initial response, attacked" two Israeli barracks "using guided missiles and mortar shells that hit them directly," Hezbollah said in a statement.
A Hezbollah source had earlier told AFP a member was killed "in an Israeli strike on a watchtower in south Lebanon" near Aita al-Shaab village.
Israeli mortar shelling outside the border village of Rmeish "slightly maimed" a Lebanese officer, the Lebanese Army said in a statement Monday.
Israel's army said its soldiers had "killed a number of armed suspects" who had crossed the frontier from Lebanon and that its helicopters were striking the area.
The Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... group's armed wing, which claims to be fighting Israel alongside Hamas, said earlier it was behind a thwarted bid to infiltrate Israel from Lebanon.
"The al-Quds Brigades claim responsibility for the afternoon operation on the south Lebanon border," the group said in a statement.
The mayor of the Lebanese border village of Dhayra said Israel was shelling the area.
"Fields on the outskirts of the village were subjected to intense Israeli artillery shelling, preceded by intermittent gunfire," the mayor, Abdullah al-Gharib, told AFP.
- 'UTMOST CAUTION' -
Hezbollah, whose arch-foe is Israel, had earlier denied any involvement in the border festivities.
An AFP photographer at the scene said he saw dozens of Lebanese and Syrian families fleeing as the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab village came under heavy bombardment.
The Lebanese Army in a statement said the periphery of "Dhayra, Aita al-Shaab and other border areas were subjected to air and artillery bombardment by the Israeli enemy."
It urged citizens "to take the utmost caution" and avoid border areas.
Andrea Tenenti, spokesperson for the United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which acts as a buffer between Lebanon and Israel, said UNIFIL commander Aroldo Lazaro was "in contact with the involved parties."
He said Lazaro had urged them to exercise "maximum restraint" to prevent "further escalation and loss of life."
Lebanon's state-run National News Agency said Israel had expanded bombardment on the same border area with "enemy warplanes intensifying their flights and launching incendiary bombs."
The festivities come a day after Hezbollah said it had fired artillery shells and guided missiles at the Israeli-occupied Shebaa Farms, "in solidarity" with attacks launched from Gaza by its ally Hamas.
Israel's army said it hit back on Sunday with artillery into southern Lebanon.
In 2006 Hezbollah and Israel fought a 34-day war that left more than 1,200 dead in Lebanon, mostly civilians, and 160 in Israel, mostly soldiers. The two countries remain technically at war.
Israel has warned Hezbollah against involvement in the war with Gaza.
At least 800 people in Israel and 560 in Gaza have been killed since the conflict erupted on Saturday, according to tolls from officials on both sides.

[NAHARNET] The Lebanese government has been promised that Hezbollah will not intervene in the Hamas ...a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",... -Israel war, caretaker Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib said.
The minister told Asharq al-Awsat newspaper, in remarks published Monday, that Hezbollah would only intervene if Israel started the war.
The interview took place in Washington before Hezbollah carried out an attack Sunday "in solidarity" with Hamas, which launched a surprise assault on Israel the day before. The PM met with Bou Habib and the latter said after the meeting that "we do not want Lebanon to join the fray and we are trying to avoid that."
The Israeli army said Monday it has "killed a number of armed suspects" who crossed the border from Lebanon. "Additionally, Israeli helicopters are currently striking in the area," the army added.
Media outlets said the infiltrators are Paleostinians after prior reports claimed they were members of Hezbollah. Only minutes later, Hezbollah denied involvement.
It said the resistance has neither clashed with the Israeli enemy nor attempted any infiltration into Israel.

[Regnum] Turkey's armed forces carried out an air operation in northern Syria against the Kurdistan Workers' Party, a paramilitary organization that Ankara considers terrorist. This was announced on Sunday, October 8, by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
“As a result of the raid, six PKK facilities were destroyed, mainly oil wells and oil storage facilities under the control of the terrorist organization ,” says a statement published on the official website of the defense department.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the operation, during which a significant number of militants were eliminated, was launched on October 8, at 22:00 local time (coinciding with Moscow time).

[Regnum] The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) carried out five airstrikes on warehouses and terrorist camps in the Syrian province of Idlib, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria (CPVS), told reporters.
In addition, he said that in the province of Latakia, militants launched an unmanned aerial vehicle in the direction of the positions of Syrian troops in the Sheikh Mohammed area. As a result of this attack, one soldier of the Syrian Armed Forces was killed and two more soldiers were injured.
Kulit also informed that during the past 24 hours, three cases of violation of deconfliction protocols by the Western coalition led by the United States in the form of drone flights not coordinated with Russia were recorded on the territory of the Arab Republic. In addition, in the Al-Tanf area, this regime was violated by two Rafale fighters, an MQ-1C multi-role unmanned aerial vehicle and two MQ-9 reconnaissance and attack drones.
As Regnum reported, on October 6, Vadim Kulit said that terrorist groups in Syria are preparing a provocation using toxic substances in order to discredit the Russian group of troops in this Arab republic. According to him, the militants want to stage the consequences of using toxic substances after Russian aircraft strike their positions.
The rear admiral noted that the terrorists had already received six containers of chlorine from the pseudo-humanitarian organization “White Helmets,” which delivered the cargo to the area of the village of Erich.
On October 6, Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said that American aircraft had shot down a Turkish drone in the skies over Syria. He explained that the US command considered the drone a potential threat to the US military.
