[Politico] Arms dealer had threatened to expose Hillary Clinton's talks about arming anti-Qadhafi rebels.
The Obama administration is moving to dismiss charges against an arms dealer it had accused of selling weapons that were destined for Libyan rebels.
Lawyers for the Justice Department on Monday filed a motion in federal court in Phoenix to drop the case against the arms dealer, an American named Marc Turi, whose lawyers also signed the motion.
The deal averts a trial that threatened to cast additional scrutiny on Hillary Clinton’s private emails as Secretary of State, and to expose reported Central Intelligence Agency attempts to arm rebels fighting Libyan leader Moammar Qadhafi.
Government lawyers were facing a Wednesday deadline to produce documents to Turi’s legal team, and the trial was officially set to begin on Election Day, although it likely would have been delayed by protracted disputes about classified information in the case.
Mr. Turi’s application for a license was rejected in late March 2011. Undeterred, he applied again, this time stating only that he planned to ship arms worth more than $200 million to Qatar. In May 2011, his application was approved. Mr. Turi, in an interview, said that his intent was to get weapons to Qatar and that what “the U.S. government and Qatar allowed from there was between them.”
Perhaps a follow-up call to Stevens provided the... 'way ahead ?'
As some have suggested, did the Turi and DoS gun running effort run counter to the ongoing Klingon mission in Benghazi ?
I love stories about horses, mules, guns, and dogs.
Many of you have been waiting for this, some even asked me to do it.
So, this is the moment. I hacked the Clinton Foundation server and downloaded hundreds of thousands of docs and donor's databases.
Hillary Clinton and her staff don’t even bother about the information security. It was just a matter of time to gain access to the Clinton Foundation server.
Here's the contents of one of the folders that I got from there.

Democrats could not live without graft from the government, and government as it stands would not be such a graft machine without them.
In it's current state, would not exist except for the grafty republicans.

Yeah, there are some people in Haiti who are looking for the donations that the Clinton Foundation collected for earthquake relief too. WJC is not welcome in Haiti. I wonder how many other people have been stiffed by this racketeering/money laundering/vote-buying operation?

There is $6B that went missing from the State Department under HRC. Where's this? What did the Clintons get for selling off 20% of our uranium to Russia? U.S. Uranium Sold to Russia by HRC.
[AA.TR] Wikileaks founder Julian Assange on Tuesday promised to release "significant material" in the run-up to next month’s U.S. presidential election.
Assange addressed a news conference in Berlin to say the group would release around a million documents on the Nov. 8 election, internet giant Google as well as arms and oil deals.
Speaking via video link from the Ecuadoran embassy in London, where he sought refuge in 2012 to avoid possible extradition to Sweden over rape allegations that he denies, Assange said: "Our upcoming series includes significant material on war, on arms, on oil, on Google, on the U.S. elections."
The first group of documents will be released in the coming week. He declined to give further information about the releases other than to say the material would reveal details about "three powerful organizations in three different states".
He denied that an "October surprise" would target U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton ... sometimes described as The Heroine of Tuzla and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Dean Acheson ... Within days of the July 15 coup attempt in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... , Wikileaks released around 300,000 emails related to the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party. The group was criticized for dumping emails that contained no revealing information and threatened the privacy and potential safety of millions or ordinary citizens.

Who knows what might be turned up if the DOJ, IRS, FBI and other alphabet soup agencies were hacked--just musing. The National Socialists also were famous for recording everything in a Teutonic efficiency. It came back to haunt them after the war. Guess the Dems never heard of Omerta (although I can't believe that.)
Clinton's campaign says it won't be responding to Donald Trump's suggestion that the former first lady cheated on her husband
Pollster Joel Benenson called the Trump claim a 'shameless low' today and would not dispute it
National Press Secretary Brian Fallon said that Trump was 'particularly unhinged' at the rally where he made the remarks
He declined to comment to DailyMail.com, staring straight ahead and ignoring the question
Bill wouldn't take on the claim directly on Tuesday - he scoffed and said Trump can run his campaign the way he wants The Missus is not happy with Mr. Trump's direction here, but note the lawyerly statements without denial. Implying it too absurd to address? Or is there some fire behind the smoke?

Do you mean that the Clinton Foundation pay-to-play server was different than Hillary's State Department basement server? Thought they were one and the same (sarc).
[NYP] News flash: President Obama didn't learn anything in eight years in the White House. And he's proud of it.
As Obama admitted in an interview with New York magazine: "If you go back and you read speeches I made when I was running for the US Senate in 2003, or if you go back further and you look at statements I made when I was on the Harvard Law Review, my worldview is pretty consistent."
The comment was a point of pride, which makes it doubly tragic. Once the smartest man in the room, always the smartest man in the room.
Never mind that the world is on fire, that America is polarized, angry and scared. Or that ObamaCare is a sick patient, that the economy is growing at a snail’s pace and that many cities are racial war zones.
It's not Obama's fault. None of it. He would do it all again.
With voters fixated on his successor, Obama is fixated on his legacy. A large part of his effort on the way out the door is explaining what he did, and insisting that what he did was right. Always.

There are none so blind as those that will not see.
How can he possibly learn anything when he already knows everything and is better than anyone at anything?
He is the definition of god complex - an unshakable belief characterized by consistently inflated feelings of personal ability, privilege, or infallibility.

I think the technical term for such an admission is "lack of self awareness." I seem to remember reading somewhere that self awareness is part of the definition of sentience...

Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
