The Armed Forces of Sudan reported the destruction of a large number of Colombian and Ukrainian mercenaries in the city of El Fasher

The Al-Arabiya TV channel, citing the official page of the command of the 6th Mechanized Division of the Armed Forces of Sudan, reports that in the city of El Fasher, servicemen of the division destroyed a large number of Colombian and Ukrainian mercenaries who fought in the ranks of the rebel Rapid Support Forces.

NEW: Sudanese Army succeeded in destroying an Ilyushin-76 cargo plane belonging to the militia at Nyala Airport on Thursday evening. A warehouse containing heat-seeking missiles in the Al-Nahda neighborhood was also destroyed; the militia had intended to transfer these to the outskirts of El Fasher.

In addition, several drones were destroyed and their operating crew made up of four foreign mercenaries neutralized.

Time for the Fed to get into this, arrest all the funders, everyone with a bullhorn arrest for inciting violence, and those with shields arrest for bringing a deadly weapon. Time to not go lightly.

Man charged for allegedly driving terrorists who carried out deadly Jerusalem attack
[IsraelTimes] Prosecutors say East Jerusalemite transported terrorists to Ramot Junction despite suspecting they carried firearms, disposed of phone containing messages after realizing they carried out attack

Prosecutors filed charges Friday against an East Jerusalem man accused of transporting the two Lions of Islam who carried out a deadly shooting attack in Jerusalem last month.

Nader Muhtaseb, 29, was accused of dropping the two Lions of Islam at Ramot Junction, where they opened fire on civilians, killing six and injuring dozens, before they were rubbed out by bystanders.

According to the indictment filed against him, Muhtaseb was contacted by a go-between who arranges transportation for Paleostinians residing illegally in Israel, and was offered NIS 400 ($120) for the job.

Prosecutors said that while driving the two to the junction, Muhtaseb took note of their bags and requested that the pair open them.

When they refused, the driver apparently began to suspect that they were carrying firearms. He transported them, nevertheless, after a conversation with the broker.

Upon later realizing that the passengers had carried out the shooting that morning, Muhtaseb destroyed his phone, which contained the correspondence arranging the ride, and disposed of its remains.

He was charged in the Jerusalem District Court with unlawful transportation, reckless manslaughter, causing serious injury and obstruction of justice. Prosecutors requested that he remain in detention until the end of the proceedings against him.

Both terrorists, Mohammad Taha and Muthanna Amro, were killed during the attack by a soldier — a squad commander in the military’s new ultra-Orthodox Hasmonean Brigade — and an armed yeshiva student, also ultra-Orthodox.

IDF reservist, associate latest to be charged for Iran espionage; 3rd man arrested

over the course of months, as law enforcement also announced they had arrested a man on suspicion of espionage on behalf of Tehran at a Dead Sea hotel.

Reservist Maor Kringel, 27, allegedly carried out espionage missions for Iranian agents starting in mid-2024 until his August arrest and later recruited the second defendant, Tal Amram, for the same purpose, the State Attorney’s Office said.

The indictment came as law enforcement ramped up its campaign against the burgeoning threat of Iranian espionage, in which agents have succeeded in recruiting Israelis online to carry out missions on the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s behalf.

Kringel had been on reserve duty for part of the time of his alleged contact with Iranian agents. At one point, his handler suggested he assassinate his commanding officer in return for NIS 100,000 ($30,000), but the accused did not follow through, the indictment noted.

The reservist nevertheless exploited his position within the military to share army base locations with his handlers. He also took photos of the Shin Bet headquarters and passed them along to the Iranian agents, prosecutors said.

When off-duty, Kringel passed along documentation of ports, shops, malls, private homes, public spaces, municipal and government buildings to the agents at their behest, the indictment continued.

In January, Kringel ramped up his espionage activities and recruited 26-year-old Amram, putting him in contact with Iranian agents. The pair, who are both residents of Holon, allegedly burned IDF uniforms together in a grove in the city, the indictment said. It was unclear if this was documented.

Kringel was charged with severe security offenses, including aiding an enemy during wartime, 26 counts of sharing intelligence that could assist the enemy and 12 counts of sharing intelligence with the enemy with the intent to harm national security.

Amram, who was not known to have gathered intelligence on Iran’s behalf, was charged solely with maintaining contact with a foreign agent.

The two were indicted in the Tel Aviv District Court and prosecutors requested they remain in detention until the end of legal proceedings.

Earlier Friday, the Shin Bet and police announced they had recently arrested an Israeli citizen on suspicion of intelligence-gathering on Iran’s behalf at a Dead Sea hotel.

The 23-year-old suspect had worked at the hotel during the time of the alleged espionage, in which he took photographs of the hotel’s premises and surrounding area, the security agencies said.

The exact circumstances of the suspect’s arrest were unclear from the statement, with police noting that the investigation is ongoing.

The suspects represent just three of dozens of Iranian espionage cases to be exposed over the past two years, as authorities intensify efforts to crack down on spies recruited online by Iranian agents.

Dozens of cases have come to light over the past two years in which Iranian agents have successfully recruited Israelis into espionage schemes via social media, specifically the Telegram messaging app. Most of the accused spies start out with innocuous tasks that gradually grow into more serious offenses, like intelligence gathering and liquidation plots.

The growing number of Iranian agents has even prompted Israel to open up a new wing for them in Haifa’s Damon prison.

The effort appears to be part of a mass recruitment scheme by Tehran to gather intelligence on Israel’s alleged nuclear and military sites, as well as key Israeli figures such as defense officials and top scientists.
Unfortunately the amateurs Iran recruited aren’t nearly as effective as the professionals Mossad sends the other way.

 a new group of nine vessels banded together to form a new flotilla, trying to succeed where its predecessor failed.

"Israel is keen to end this procedure as quickly as possible," it added.

The ministry also shared photos of Swedish campaigner Greta "Pippi" Thunberg

 and other activists who were taken upon their arrival in Israel Thursday night. "All are safe and in good health," the ministry said.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir arrived at the Ashdod port to taunt the activists, and also went to the Ketziot security prison to tout the "terrorists’ conditions" in which the activists were detained there, according to videos the far-right minister posted on Instagram.

He later wrote on X that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was making a "mistake" by deporting the activists rather than imprisoning them for months "so that they get used to the smell of the terrorists’ wing" of the prison. Failure to imprison the activists "makes them return again and again and again," wrote Ben Gvir.

The Kan public broadcaster reported that Foreign Ministry officials were angry at Ben Gvir, and felt the flotilla interception had gone smoothly until he arrived at the port.

Police said earlier that the 470 activists who were detained by the Navy had been processed by law enforcement.

More than 600 coppers, along with prison officials and immigration representatives, were deployed to Ashdod Port to receive the detained activists, police said.

The activists from the dozens of boats underwent a "thorough inspection process," police said, adding that they were handed over to the Population and Immigration Authority and the Israel Prison Service for further processing before deportation.

The Navy’s interception of the flotilla came after organizers rejected the calls to transfer the small amount of aid they had been carrying with them to Israel or international organizations to be taken to the Strip and distributed.

They vowed, instead, to press on toward Gaza, which has been devastated in the nearly two years of fighting sparked by Hamas’s devastating invasion of southern Israel on October 7, 2023. The terror group continues to hold 48 hostages, of whom 20-22 are believed to be alive.

LAST SUMUD VESSEL, WHICH LAGGED BEHIND, IS INTERCEPTED
The final vessel from the Sumud flotilla, the Marinette, had mechanical issues and lagged behind the main armada of 41 ships.

A livestream Friday showed forces from the Shayetet 13 naval commando unit boarding the Marinette.

The flotilla organizers subsequently confirmed that all its vessels had been intercepted.)

 Cypriot authorities said one boat from the flotilla had docked in the country.

The vessel carrying 21 foreigners requested to dock in Larnaca for refueling and humanitarian reasons, a Cyprus government spokesperson said on X.

The spokesperson did not identify the boat or say whether it was among those intercepted by the Israeli Navy.

After registering all the passengers, Cyprus provided for their basic needs and offered consular assistance, he added.

NEW FLOTILLA, NINE SHIPS STRONG, ON ITS WAY TO GAZA
Another flotilla, however, is now heading toward Gaza, declaring it will also try to break the blockade.

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, affiliated with both flotillas as well as previous ones, said the Conscience boat departed Italia on Wednesday with some 100 activists aboard. The group claimed "many of them" are healthcare workers and journalists.

Conscience joined another eight boats that set sail from Italia nearly a week ago.

The nine ships are currently off the coast of the Greek Island of Crete, according to live tracking data.

The ships are expected to be intercepted by the Israeli Navy should they continue to approach Gaza.

Intense clashes erupted in an area housing displaced Gazans between Hamas internal security and members of the local Al-Majayda clan in Khan Younis. Local sources say Hamas operatives came from inside the Nasser hospital and stormed the tent area in the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone while firing indiscriminately, including with RPGs, killing numerous civilians and several children. 22 Hamas operatives were killed in the clashes.

The confirmation from the Israel Defense Forces came after the leader of a rival gang in Gaza told The Times of Israel that his forces had thwarted a Hamas attack in Khan Younis with Israeli military assistance.

Hossam al-Astal, who leads the gang east of Khan Younis, said that it thwarted a Hamas attack on a family with which Hamas is in dispute on Friday morning in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, with air support from the IDF.

The Israeli military did not mention the gang in its statement, but confirmed it thwarted an attack on "Gazook residents" in the area.

The IDF said that after the dronezaps, several Hamas operatives were seen trying to use Paleostinian children as human shields. It published footage that purported to show the button men dragging children with them.

The button men using human shields were killed in separate strikes minutes later, without harm being caused to the civilians, the military added.

The IDF issued footage of the strikes, which it said killed some 20 Hamas operatives.

Al-Astal said that at 6 a.m., Hamas operatives arrived in al-Mawasi and opened fire, launching RPGs toward an area where members of the al-Majaida family, whom the terror group was targeting, were present.

The al-Majaida family has been warring with Hamas for several weeks, ever since operatives shot several family members in the leg for unclear reasons, al-Astal said. He said the group has also claimed the family is collaborating with Israel and stealing humanitarian aid
He said his forces came to the family’s assistance, and with the help of Israeli air support, they were able to strike the entire Hamas unit.

Eleven Hamas operatives were killed and six were seriously maimed, he said, and one member of the Majaida family who fought against them was also killed. His own forces sustained no casualties, he said.

Social media accounts affiliated with Hamas also reported on the attack, but claimed that although members of Hamas’s armed wing were killed, Hamas managed to kill several members of the al-Majaida family, whom they accused of collaborating with Israel.

Al-Astal published photos on his Facebook page of the alleged Hamas operatives killed in the foiled attack, some wearing military vests and the headbands of Hamas’s armed wing.

This was the first reported case of a Hamas attack in Gaza being openly thwarted by a Paleostinian gang, albeit with IDF assistance.

In recent weeks, there have been repeated attempts by Hamas to prevent Paleostinian civilians from heading to the humanitarian area in southern Gaza, the military said Friday.

According to the IDF’s latest estimates, more than 870,000 Paleostinians have evacuated Gaza City to the Strip’s south, out of around a million who were residing there before the army’s latest offensive against Hamas.

Al-Astal’s gang is not the only anti-Hamas militia operating in Gaza. Another group is led by Yasser Abu Shabaab, a Bedouin commander who has been active for months in Rafah, south of Khan Younis on the Strip’s border with Egypt. Abu Shabaab’s forces have drawn thousands of residents to an area under its control in eastern Rafah, where they run rudimentary schools, clinics, and public kitchens. Fighters and Israeli defense sources have confirmed that the group received military equipment from Israel.

HAMAS OPERATIVES KILLED IN STRIKE
Separately on Friday, two Hamas operatives armed with an RPG and another firearm who approached troops of the Kfir Brigade in Gaza City were killed in a dronezap, the military said, publishing footage of the incident.

According to the IDF, during scans by troops in the area using a drone, two armed operatives were spotted approaching them.

The troops then called in an Israeli Air Force Hermes 450 UAV to strike them.
