The polls are not 'unskewed'. They're just skewed in a different direction.
Pick the poison you like. But vote.

Respectfully Orion, I hope and pray you are incorrect. Should Obama win however, America will continue to be dismantled by official racial socialism.
Dreams From my Father and the continued musings of it's alleged author capture perfectly, the basis of thinking that inhabits hierarchical societies in which strength, fairness, and communal ownership [as dictated by the Alpha Male or 'Head Man'] prevails over law.
My question is, "Since we don't have a syphalitic camel running against Bambi that we can vote for, who can we vote for to get this self-centered America-hating clown OUT OF OFFICE?"
"Romney" is the answer.

Excerpt: "It's down to the wire and Sharon still needs 500 Republican election judges in Cook County...and she needs them by this coming Thursday. If she doesn't find 500 more judges, then Democrats will get to fill those positions...just like they have in previous elections (emphasis added - UP)."
* 500 people who live in Cook County who voted Republican in the past (which means they are registered as Republicans in Illinois, because party registration is determined by which ballot you pull in the primaries)
* Get the word out that these 500 people need to go to https://connect.cookcountyclerk.com/publicjudgeapplication.aspx (URL Corrected - UP) to apply to be election judges in Cook County
* Election judging requires being on site at a polling place for the entirety of November 6th, 2012. This might mean taking a sick day to do this...but you will be compensated $170/day for doing this.
People who have questions about whether they would qualify need to call: 312-242-1818

I sent in my application to be an Election Judge almost 8 weeks ago...(crickets)
Remember, there is no Democratic Party or Republican Party in Illinois. There is a combine, both groups learned long ago that if they work together there is plenty to steal.

"Remember, there is no Democratic Party or Republican Party in Illinois. There is a combine, both groups learned long ago that if they work together there is plenty to steal."
This is essentially what happened to the checks and balances designed into the federal government. The idea was that each branch would oppose power grabs by the other branches. Eventually they figured out they could collude to grab power, and the only losers were the people.
With polls showing Obama enjoying a clear advantage in Ohio, Romney and his running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan (Wis.), began two days of retail campaigning with a joint rally here at Dayton International Airport. Oversampling? What's that?
Standing in front of their campaign planes, and joined by tea party star Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), the Republican ticket painted a dramatic contrast with the Obama administration -- on their tax plans, on trade policies with China and on the size and role of government. Almost a fair statement, except for throwing in a scary Tea-Party guy.
Beeson called Obama's campaign "the reigning champs" because of their successful turnout operation in 2008. But, he said, with six weeks left until Election Day, the Obama campaign is too bullish. "They're sort of spiking the ball at the 30-yard line right now," Beeson said. Too busy to talk to Bibi, but he's got time to talk about his girls' basketball on The View.
Romney hopes his bus tour, which continues Wednesday through three Ohio cities, will help generate enthusiasm for his candidacy. He has been attacking Obama on his trade policies with China, both in television advertisements and on the stump, hoping a sharp critique would rally blue-collar voters in this industrial state.
"China has cheated," Romney said, adding, "I will not allow that to continue." That's also all over Northern Virginia, which is followed or preceeded by Obama saying Romney's firm specialized in outsourcing jobs to China.
But Obama's campaign argued that this was simply a desperate move. Not unlike Obama campaigning in Wisconsin, I suppose.
"He's desperately trying to find something else that will ingratiate himself with working people," former Ohio governor Ted Strickland, a co-chairman of Obama's campaign, said in an interview. "The people in Ohio, I think, have already made up their minds about this guy one way or another, and a majority of Ohioans have concluded that the Obama-MSM narrative is taking hold - he doesn't care about them or understand them."

alternative energy companies
The one's that used the circular business plan like the union's? The Donks support the unions, the unions vote for the Donk's, and if the Donks win, they reward the unions with special favors and benefits at the expense of the rest of us.

I told my wife the other day - if the polls are true and Obama does win w/a comfortable lead then I conclude that there is little hope down the line for our country. The elephant in the room for me is (& I've not heard anyone mention this yet) that mabye the avg American voter is just basically a history-challenged high functioning moron. Seriously, how stupid are people to keep buying the b.s. that the economy is still W's fault - 3 1/2 yrs later? Really? When you take a job, do you keep blaming your predecessor 3 1/2 yrs later? Grow some nuts and act like an adult. Further, if the majority of the electorate is so economically retarded as to be good w/a $16+ trillion deficit, 8%+ unemployment (more like 10%), and all the rest of the shenannigans of the current admin(F&F debacle, obamacare, cap/trade, acorn, solyndra) because Obama is this cool guy who speaks well then they are on par psychologically w/the 6 yr old child who's enamored w/the new shiny toy. I'm to the point now that I cannot blame the MSM (whom I gleefully loathe) anymore for the stupidity and/or blatant ignorance of my fellow countrymen. At some point adults have to engage rational thought, learn some history, and piece together logical cause/effect. If bammer wins - I have no warm/fuzzy about the next 10yrs.

Scary, isn't it? There really will be two countries but not exactly in the way the Breck girl (Edwards) envisioned; red interior (with a couple of state exceptions), blue coasts.

I don't believe the welfare model works on this large a level. If it gets worse we'll see an exodus of hard working and wealthy and they'll have to put up walls.
Of course at some point if we fail, China goes with us and nobody is left standing for a decade or two. And they'll still find a way to blame Bush.

JQC - the audio I heard was African-Americans in Harlem. There may have been a few African immigrants in there. Stern ran this same bit on them back in 2008 w/similarly scary and hilarious results.
I stopped listening about half-way through - it was just too painful.
Wotta buncha maroons.

Where would they go? More likely the hard working & wealthy will simply roll into the service of, to borrow Ayn Rand's term, the "aristocrac of pull." The hardworking & wealthy will simply dedicate their talent & resources towards those things that will give them the highest probability of success be those things in the private or public sector.
