[NYPOST] Alleged would-be Trump assassin Ryan Wesley Routh rolled up in Ukraine last year looking to fight the Russians and make an impact — but was quickly rejected and pushed aside after being dubbed a ''wack job'' and ''off'' by the more serious imported muscle in the country, several sources involved in the volunteer effort said.
While some had interacted with him personally, others told The Post they knew his ''type'' and were ''not at all surprised by it.''
''A crazy idiot, but no one's really surprised. There are people like that that show up and are desperate to help and be important,'' one American fighting for Ukraine told The Post. ''And he was just one of those — just on the crazier end of things.''
The American fighters and volunteers who spoke to The Post requested anonymity for fear of Russian doxxing.
Routh, 58, had no military experience, but traveled to Ukraine around March 2023 thinking he could help out in the war effort, anyway. How easy was that for a fringe asset useful idiot?

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Bombshell documents prove leaders in Aurora, Colorado knew Venezuelan super gang Tren de Aragua had taken control of three apartment buildings, but then denied the city had a gang problem when video of an armed takeover sent shock waves across the US. "Oh shit. Am I on video?"
DailyMail.com obtained city records where staffers admitted three rental properties 'are in complete control' of Tren de Aragua (TdA) and claim that many more than just three properties are victims of the 'criminal infestation.'
'As of now, the Aurora-Multi-Family Properties are in the complete control of the Gangs,' the police report dated June 29 states.
One document had been prepared by the Aurora Police Department for attorneys of the owner of the apartment complexes, CBZ Management, turned to the cops for help.
'One June 27, 2024, the Owners were informed that the Aurora Multi-Family Properties had been forcibly taken over and were in the control of individuals claiming to be part of one or more gangs ("Gangs") who have immigrated from the country of Venezuela to the City of Aurora, Colorado,' the crime report reads.
The property manger of the three properties (Aspen Grove Apartments, the Edge of Lowry and Whispering Pines) was told by the thugs not to go back or his life would be in danger.
Gang members were also known to be armed with deadly weapons, including assault rifles and knifes.
A report by the law firm detailed the chaos at the apartments, including beatings that nearly left victims dead, shootings, drug sales and even child prostitution were taking place.
The crime report was complied before video of TdA (as Tren de Aragaua is known to authorities) surfaced August 28, showing armed gangsters storming units at the Edge of Lowry apartments in the Denver suburb.
As outrage over the images spread across the country, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman denied Aurora had a gang problem in interview after interview with the media.
While the city did not respond to an interview request from DailyMail.com asking when the city knew TdA had seized control of apartments, the Republican mayor has made every effort to downplay the South American mob's presence in his city.
In an interview with the local Fox station on Aug. 29, Coffman said Aurora was not overrun by migrant criminals and instead described their control to be in 'isolated areas' and 'pockets' of the city.
He claimed to know even less with a different Denver outlet on Sept. 4, when asked if he could confirmation Tren de Aragua was behind the violence, he said no.
'I think the view is kind of mixed on that,' Coffman told Denver7. 'Quite frankly, that part is not relevant to me.'
In the next breath, Coffman went on to say the DEA had told him TdA was selling fentanyl in the his city, but kept to his narrative that no one knew if Tren de Aragua was involved.
'I don't think we know at this time,' he added.
The police department had already arrested two known TdA member Jhonardy Jose Pacheco-Chirinos, also known as “Cookie” or “Galleta,' and his brother Jhonnarty Dejesus Pacheco-Chirinos.
Additionally, a July 3 letter to the city manager obtained by DailyMail.com details a meeting between the Aurora Police Department, the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations or HSI to discuss the gang problem at the three properties owned by CBZ Management.
'In that meeting, it was disclosed that our situation is not an isolated event, but numerous other multi-family projects in the City of Aurora and throughout the State of Colorado are subject to the same gang control,' disclosed CBZ management's attorney.
That major revelation is in stark contract to what the mayor has been saying.
'There is a tendency to exaggerate and to say this incident that's isolated to three buildings under the same ownership with the same people, concentration of Venezuelan migrants, is the city of Aurora...that the entire city is unsafe,' he said in the Denver7 interview.
The apartment lawyer pleaded for an 'immediate face-to-face meeting' with City Manager Jason Batchelor.
'We are very concerned for our residents, our clients' properties, the surrounding neighborhoods, and our fellow property owners due to this criminal infestation, which includes extortion and the utilization of lethal weapons,' the letter reads.
Despite the mayor's rejection of the information in the documents, his interview may have revealed why a person in his position might want to downplay a 'criminal infestation' in his community.'
'That narrative isn't true,' Coffman said. 'That's a destructive narrative to the economic health of this city.'
[ZeroHedge] 'Academics, think tankers, pundits, and policymakers no longer can hide the fact that they often either have no clue what they are doing or are all too willing to oversell their case—and will purposefully obfuscate or outright lie from time to time to get their way.'

“Any government will work if authority and responsibility are equal and coordinate. This does not insure “good” government, it simply insures that it will work. But such governments are rare — most people want to run things, but want no part of the blame. This used to be called the “backseat driver” syndrome.”

I was once introduced at a client site as an "expert". The introducer then went on to define an expert as "X: an unknown quantity and spurt: a drip under pressure". The meeting went downhill from there....
[PJ Media] Thierry Breton, the European Union commissioner who tried to bully Elon Musk into banishing free speech from Twitter/X, resigned in shame from his post today.
Breton quit in an open letter where he accused European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen of plotting against him. "You asked France to withdraw my name — for personal reasons that in no instance you have discussed directly with me — and offered, as a political trade-off, an allegedly more influential portfolio for France in the future College," he wrote.
The European Commission spokesperson stated that "the timing and wording" of Breton’s letter to Musk had not been coordinated with von der Leyen or other commissioners, in a response that was seen as a rebuke to the commissioner.
Translation: Breton embarrassed Brussels and had to be sidelined.
Similarly, neither the EU nor its member nations have ever had anything like America's First Amendment protection of free speech. That was fine before Elon Musk bought Twitter and began exporting free speech around the world. Meta could be fined into submission but not Musk, who paid an outrageous sum for Twitter in part because he believes free speech is more important than his net worth.
[NYPOST] Former Secretary of State Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do... said Monday that Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... is a ''danger to our country and the world'' — just one day after a gunman was foiled in his bid shoot the former president.
The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee made the remark during an interview with MSNBC primetime host Rachel Maddow.
''The late great journalist Harry Evans one time said that journalists should try to achieve objectivity,'' Clinton said.
''The object in this case is Donald Trump. His demagoguery. His danger to our country and the world,'' she added, claiming that the press was ''merciless'' in going after President Biden, but treated Trump with kid gloves.
Yahoo News, of all places, carried an article yesterday of a Snopes take down of the notion that Routh had been in a BlackRock commercial in 2022(?). The Yahoo article had a 3-4 paragraph comment from Brenden Dilley[@WarlordDilley on X], that discussed Routh being in the commercial, and it made a lot of sense and was echoed elsewhere. However, in the two hours or so that I've been going back and forth trying to figure out what is now missing, during this time the longer comment of Brenden Dilley has now been scrubbed across all web platforms.
Yahoo, to be safe, has even "pulled" its July article of Crooks being in a BlackRock commercial (go to the bottom of the Yahoo News article just above the 'View comments'). Snopes has done the same:
Even @WarlordDilley on X doesn't discuss the Routh commercial.
[Breitbart] When will Ohio dump this POS squish?
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) announced on Monday that the 33 “bomb threats” against schools in Springfield, Ohio, “have all been hoaxes” and have originated from overseas. “None of these had any validity at all,” the governor said. Pressure is now mounting on the establishment press to apologize to former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH).
“At least 33 separate bomb threats, each one of which has been responded to, and each one of whom has been found as a hoax,” DeWine said. “So, 33 threats, 33 hoaxes. I want to make that very, very clear. None of these had any validity at all.”

[REGNUM] The election campaign in the US is starting to resemble a real "Wild West". In two months, there has already been a second assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
The split in American society and the crime crisis are on full display. But the main thing is the further disintegration of the once functioning political system in the US, which is now rapidly being Ukrainized.
The July assassination attempt on Trump in Pennsylvania exposed the blatant negligence of the US Secret Service, which protects top government officials and presidential candidates.
Since then, Trump's security has been beefed up, and during the second assassination attempt, it was more professional than in July. This time, agents spotted the gunman with a rifle outside Trump's golf club in Florida in time and arrested him.
The character turned out to be unusually colorful.
It turned out to be a roofer from North Carolina named Ryan Routh. He had been arrested several times, and in 2002 he was even convicted of spreading terrorist threats. At that time, it was “fashionable” in the US to send envelopes with a white substance under the guise of real pathogens like anthrax.
In recent years, the unsuccessful gunslinger Root has devoted all his free time to criticizing Trump on social media and the international agenda. This is where he really went wild.
The criminal held entire "fairs" inviting Americans to go to Ukraine as mercenaries, for which they were promised a salary of up to one and a half thousand dollars a month. Ruth even managed to visit Kyiv himself and take a selfie on the Maidan.
He was similarly interested in what was happening in Taiwan, where he supported anti-Chinese forces and the Taiwanese army.
Immediately after the arrest of the criminal, social networks rushed to delete his pages with content, just to avoid setting up the Democrats, to whom Ruth actively donated money. But much of it was saved.
Before our eyes is a spherical victim in a vacuum of the liberal propaganda campaign led by the elites of the Democratic Party in the United States. An opponent of Trump and the Republicans, a supporter of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, obsessed with the war in Ukraine and other conflicts that are now on everyone's lips.
A separate question is whether he is a "lone wolf", as they call those who act independently in the US. Or whether there were some forces in the same "deep state" behind him who do not want Trump to return to power.
The background of the previous assassination attempt is still shrouded in secrecy. The criminal who carried it out was killed immediately, but before that he managed to get into the event bypassing security and even climbed onto the roof of the building where the law enforcement officers were sitting. He had an earpiece, and FBI agents hinted that he might have acted on someone's instructions. But no reliable information was ever presented.
Now the criminal has been detained, so it will be more difficult to cover up all the loose ends. Unless, of course, he dies under mysterious circumstances in prison, which happens quite often.
It is clear that Ryan Routh had prepared thoroughly for the assassination attempt on Trump. He took an AK-47 and a camera with him, and crept through the bushes to within a few hundred meters of his victim. If he had opened fire, he might well have had a chance of achieving his goal.
Trump was lucky again - he turned his head in time during the first assassination attempt. And before the second assassination attempt, security agents were able to spot the criminal in the bushes and drive him away.
The current situation is particularly awkward for the Democrats, who have just had their supporter stage yet another episode of political violence.
And even immediately after the assassination, prominent Democrats like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries continued to call for Trump and his MAGA Republican supporters to be “stopped.” Some rank-and-file Democrats took this too literally.
Republicans regard the incident as another attempt by the "Washington swamp" to illegitimately remove Trump from the presidential race. Or at least to intimidate him into becoming more willing to negotiate. However, immediately after the assassination attempt, he himself promised to "never give up" and fight to the end for the presidency.
For Trump, the current assassination attempt, as strange as it may sound, comes at a rather opportune moment.
After all, he failed to win the recent debates with Harris. In addition, for some reason he got into a losing squabble with the popular American singer Taylor Swift, who supported Harris's candidacy in the elections.
Now everyone has forgotten about the debates and is once again starting to discuss the problem of the surge in political violence in the US with attacks on Trump. He is again appearing as a new Kennedy who managed to survive. And twice at once. And at the same time in the role of a "victim of the regime", which is expectedly causing sympathy from many ordinary Americans.
Trump will try to seize the initiative in the race and reduce his gap with Harris in the ratings. Harris has managed to get ahead of Trump since mid-August, but the gap is not very large. She is less popular than Hillary Clinton was in September 2016 or Biden in September 2020. Every failed assassination attempt adds points to Trump - the main thing is that it does not end fatally for him.
The situation is unprecedented for American politics.
Never before in history have there been double assassination attempts on one of the leaders of the election race. And there are still two months until the elections - there may be new attempts to eliminate the contender for the presidential seat. The situation is electrified to the limit - if Trump is killed, the division of the United States will worsen so much that it could put the country on the brink of civil conflict. Republican states will simply refuse to recognize the results of such an election without Trump.
And we can expect this level of violence in American politics to only continue to grow, as the discord between Democrats and Republicans intensifies with each election cycle.
The political system in Washington has long been in disarray - Congress is dysfunctional, trust in the presidency, the press, and the courts is at an all-time low in modern US history.
It is impossible to resolve one's contradictions by legal political methods - one has to resort to illegal ones. Especially since the American population has more than half a billion guns in its hands, and there are plenty of people trained to handle them.
And, by the way, it is very symbolic that the second assassination attempt on Trump was organized by a person connected with Ukraine.
One of the obvious consequences will be problems for Ukrainian lobbyists, who are already having difficulty “push[ing] through” new tranches for 2025.
Trump will be even more vocal in his criticism of the Ukrainian agenda and, at the same time, demand that Republicans in Congress block approval of new aid packages for Kyiv. They will likely cause at least a temporary delay at the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 — in the midst of the transition of power in Washington.
But the long-term consequences are connected with the Ukrainization of American policy itself. There is a certain historical irony in this.
The US has become so deeply immersed in the wilds of Ukrainian reality that it has begun to slowly adopt it itself. Those Americans who fought as mercenaries on the Ukrainian fronts and then returned home can play a significant role in this. They may be destined for a dramatic and tragic role in their homeland, especially since the preconditions for this – with the protracted political crisis in the US – already exist.

Given the 'threat level', shouldn't some SS resources be moved from Clinton, Bush, and Obama to cover the active candidate? If not, why? /rhet question.

the best i can do for trump, vance, abbot, and greene is to pray for their protectors via 'auum' and i do so several times a day. also i am 87 and have two pistols.
[Townhall] Regarding one of the questions surrounding this second assassination attempt concerning when/if the FBI knew, we learned that the bureau did know about Routh in 2019. It involved an investigation into illegal possession of a firearm. Routh’s rap sheet could span the continental United States, so how he was able to obtain firearms remains a mystery, though, as in the past, I’m sure we’ll find out that it was some form of government incompetence. It could also be that criminals don’t follow federal firearms laws.

Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited. US court indicts suspect in Trump assassination attempt
A US court has indicted Ryan Wesley Root, a suspect in the second assassination attempt on presidential candidate Donald Trump. CNN reported this on September 16.
It is noted that the suspect has been charged with two counts related to firearms.
According to the channel, the charges include possession of a firearm while convicted of a felony and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on September 15, the FBI reported that Trump was shot while the politician was playing golf at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
Law enforcement officers detained Ryan Wesley Root. It turned out that he had previously been in Kiev and participated in recruiting mercenaries for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene pointed out Root's participation in a video in support of the Ukrainian formation "Azov" (a terrorist organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation).
Trump said he was unharmed and safe. The politician added that nothing will stop him and he will never give up.
The first assassination attempt on Trump was made on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, during his campaign rally. The politician was shot several times. He was wounded in the ear. The suspect was then eliminated by security personnel.
Even more from regnum.ru Kremlin has commented on the second assassination attempt on Trump
The Russian side is monitoring information coming from Washington after the second assassination attempt on former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. This was reported on September 16 by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov.
“This is not really our business,” the Kremlin spokesman noted, answering a question about how this situation could affect the elections and whether there is a risk of destabilization of the situation in the country.
Peskov added that the current stop in the country before the elections is tense.
“The political struggle is intensifying, a variety of methods are being used <…> We have never interfered in this in any way and are not interfering now,” explained the Russian leader’s press secretary.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on July 13, an assassination attempt was made on Trump in the city of Butler (Pennsylvania) during his campaign rally. Several shots were fired at the politician. He was wounded in the ear. The suspect in the shooting was eliminated by security personnel.
On September 15, a shooting occurred outside a golf club in West Palm Beach while Trump was there. The FBI called the incident a failed assassination attempt, and a suspect was arrested. According to police, he was 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh.
Later, the former head of the White House said that he was not injured in the incident and was safe. The politician emphasized that nothing will stop him and he will never give up.
On September 15, US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene reported that the suspect in the assassination attempt on Trump had appeared in a video in support of the Ukrainian nationalist formation Azov (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation). It later became known that the detainee had visited Kiev, participated in recruiting mercenaries for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and called on US President Joe Biden to send all the weapons the Americans have to Kiev and to introduce an American military contingent into Ukraine.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev did not rule out that Rauta could have been hired by the Kiev regime to organize Trump’s assassination.

My question regards the SKS he had. He had left NC and moved to Hawaii several years ago, but came back for this.
I'm assuming TSA didn't let him bring the rifle on the plane, and he didn't come back by bus.
So, he has a weapons source/depot somewhere nearby.
Who?

The Daily Mail jumbles together a bunch of different stories centering on Springfield, Ohio over the past few days. With regard to the Proud Boys and Blood Tribe: I do hope the FBI is not stirring up trouble again in a way that can be traced back to them — remember the Seventies, man.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The far-right Proud Boys descended on Springfield, Ohio, as Donald Trump doubled down on his promise to visit the town at the center of pet-eating rumors.
Members of the group were spotted marching amid reports that the KKK has been distributing recruitment leaflets in a town that has been hit by a wave of bomb threats directed at schools and colleges. 33 out of 33 bomb threats were from overseas. Hoaxes.
Around 20 members of the Proud Boys, some seen carrying flags and placards, were seen in video and photos posted to social media. Always a role for the useful idiot.
Plans for a visit by the ex-president are still taking shape, his campaign team insists, after he repeated debunked claims that the town's large Haitian population was killing and eating their neighbors' pets.
GOP leaders have angrily dismissed the stories as 'garbage' and told him to stay away.
'Look, there's a lot of garbage on the internet. This was a piece of garbage that was simply not true, there's no evidence of this at all.
'Any comment about that otherwise, I think, is hurtful and is not helpful to the city of Springfield and the people of Springfield.
'We need to focus on moving forward, not dogs and cats being eaten, it's just ridiculous.'
The Proud Boys, which have been banned as a terrorist group in Canada, currently have five chapters in Ohio, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
They have been at the forefront of some of the most violent political confrontations in recent years, and five of its leaders were indicted on seditious conspiracy charges over the January 6 riot.
Former leader Henry Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his role in the violence.
Donald Trump has distanced himself from the group since telling them to 'stand back and stand by' in his 2020 presidential debate with Joe Biden.
Their arrival comes a month after around a dozen masked members of the neo-Nazi group Blood Tribe held an 'anti-Haitian immigration march' in the town as the first rumors started to emerge.
The group promoted the rumors online, and member Drake Berentz spoke at a Springfield City Commission meeting on August 27 to warn that 'crime and savagery will only increase with every Haitian you bring in'.
He was ejected from the meeting, but group leader Christopher Pohlhaus was euphoric after Trump brought up the rumors in his presidential debate.
'The president is talking about it now,' one of his members wrote on the social media platform Gab.
This is direct foreign government interference in the election. The governor should specify which nation conducted this psychological operation. Voters have a right to know who is meddling in our election.
