Wednesday’s revelation that an Iranian operative had been charged with trying to arrange the liquidation of former National Security Adviser John Bolton was "long overdue" — and suggests the Biden administration was staying silent about Tehran’s nefarious activities to keep alive ongoing talks about re-entering the 2015 nuclear deal, former US officials tell The Post.
The Justice Department unsealed the indictment against Shahram Poursafi two days after negotiators in Vienna settled on a "final text" of an agreement, with all parties now consulting in their capitals on whether to consent to it.
"The negotiations are pretty much complete at this point," National Security Council front man John Kirby told news hounds at the White House Aug. 4, later adding: "We’re not going to wait forever for Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... to take this deal — the deal on the table. They ought to take it."
The Poursafi indictment traces his attempts to set up a hit on Bolton on behalf of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from October of last year through April of this year and says the operation was "likely" in retaliation for the US killing of IRGC commander Qassem Soleimani in January 2020.
But longtime Iran watchers have dismissed that timeline and said the threat against Bolton and other US officials was prevalent as soon as Soleimani was wiped out in a US dronezap at Baghdad’s international airport.

Anyone remember the Bruce Willis flick 'Jackal', where the real target was the first lady and the feebs kept thinking it was their own director?
Poursafi attempted to pay people in D.C. or Maryland up to $300,000 to carry out the murder, according to the complaint. He also claimed to have a “second job” that would pay $1 million. [Daily Beast]

Not much outcry over the threat to Bolton. I used to like him because he annoyed all the leftists until I realized that he is sort of a Down's Syndrome sociopathic tool of the Deep State.
You would think Bolton would be the toast of the Uniparty like Bush and Cheney in their retirement. Because he served Trump, Bolton is getting more of a Mulvaney treatment rather than the full embrace and sloppy kisses.

[Townhall] The Department of Justice, via a complaint unsealed on Wednesday, released new information about Iranian plots to assassinate senior Trump administration officials on U.S. soil — apparently as retribution for the 2020 strike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.
Describing a brazen plot for National Security Adviser John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to be assassinated in the United States, the Justice Department complaint paints a picture that's almost Cold War-esque, reminiscent of a time when the nation's capital was crawling with enemy agents tracking U.S. officials.
Per the Justice Department, the plot involving an Iranian identified as Shahram Poursafi unfolded between October 2021 and April 2022: Now we know how the DOJ is going to assassinate Trump.

Oh, my bad. I was talking about the Vajra Prahaar 2022, between our SFTS and your 1 SFG and Tactics Group.
The article is for the one in October, Yuddh Abhyas. A brigade level integrated battle group exercise. Big booms, bombed shacks, flying machines, an... ooops falling APC or two. No, I'm kidding, that's mostly with the Russians.
