But they didn’t lie — no, apparently a bunch of people — and not just those evil white nationalist-Christian-gun-Jesus-flag people — are refusing to get the vaccine, and the reason is that they are moral defectives somehow in thrall to Tucker Carlson’s Svengali-like powers of persuasion. You see, the people who won’t get it are stupid people who hate science because they refuse to trust the people who have spent the last year-and-a-half lying to them.

And if your doctor tells you not to vaccinate, your family can sue him for malpractice after delta gets you? (well, he is a lawyer)

^This is not a personal decision - because it affects other people.
For example: an attendant in a retirement home does not have a right to refuse vaccination AND keep their job. Ditto for medical personnel or school teachers.
On the positive side, I understand that now - when delta (which is not age discriminatory like the earlier versions) became prevalent, people who know somebody that got it personally, harry to vaccinate - some people are slow learners.

Regardless of your position on any of the vaccines, it is impossible to ignore that a large part of what has gone on has little to do with the supposed catalyst.
You demand the vaccine (any) or you refuse and of course anybody who doesn't follow you is obviously an imbecile, government stooge or possibly an imbecilic government stooge. Fine.
That still doesn't explain the fact that a great deal of global governmental intervention has been at best adjacent to and in many cases counter to public health and societal well being.
I would also observe they seem to be getting a might shrill and thuggish about something that produces a 99 + % survival rate. So, what's it all mean?
Come-on people give it up, everybody knows that you oppose the vaccines for the same reason you oppose masks & lockdowns. You oppose anything that comes from the other party (and so do they) regardless of the facts of the matter.

No Dr I and my personal medical history does not extend beyond me so it would ne unethical to promote either therapeutic approach. Is that clear enough for you?
Now I may well be a slow learner, obviously I would be the last to know. But oh real man of genius, did it ever occur to you to consider the actual question I was raising instead of the fevered dialogue churning in the back of your head?
Golly, back when I was a blunt instrument for the state they even told us to watch out about all that 'ere self talk. I'm guessing yours is out of hand. I'd hate to make any suggestions in the presence of nobility and all, but you might want to think about getting into the same conversation before manically proclaiming how right you are. Language, Thing, language - don't imitate certain immature individuals. Did you remember my argument about HCQ - if it were capable of working some poor country would have used it. Remember USA is has 4.2% of world population. Don't overestimate the power & influence of Fauci and "Big Pharma".
For that matter, when pandemic started, Bibi went to his pal Modi and scored 7 tons of HCQ. Several hospitals and universities in Israel tested it - totally worthless.

Part of the problem with hcq is that it was a good preventative and/or early stage treatment, which is something western medicine is refusing to look at.
Look, trying to extract value from the stuff that Fauci and the international bureaucracy is putting out is basically like trying to polish a turd after picking it up by the clean end. Go and look at the sources on paper yourself from shortly before the problem started.
(Helpful hint: 2010's PDR doesn't have an extensive entry on HCQ, but 2017's does, I guess because it started being used in the west again due to RA and Lupus.)
There's more, but I'm not trying to convince you to take HCQ _right now_. There may actually be better drugs for you to take, although they're lying about them too...

Too bad Kurt had to anchor his argument on the COVID debacle, because the larger point isn't COVID, vaccines, masks or lockdowns. The big picture is credibility or lack of it. The "scientists" in this, Fauxi, et. al. - credibility zero. The institutions, CDC, NIH, et. al. - credibility zero. The politicians, media and corporate officer types shrieking "Muh Science™! - credibility zero. Ditto for the institutions and organizations they populate

[Townhall] Comedian and HBO host Bill Maher is at it again, tossing truth bombs on his Friday night "Real Time" segments and ticking off the woke left in the process. This time, however, the intensity seems to have ticked up a notch, with lefties all over Twitter demanding that Maher himself be canceled for his latest mockery of cancel culture.
Here's the offending segment, which primarily dealt with what Maher called the "woke Olympics." Just try to keep yourself from literally shaking while watching it. Seven-minute video at link. How bad does this atmosphere we’re living in have to get before the people who say cancel culture is overblown admit that it is in fact an insanity that is swallowing up the world?"
"And that is not a conservative position, my friends," he said later in the segment. "My politics have not changed, but I am reacting to politics that have, and this is yet another example of how the woke invert the very thing that used to make liberals liberals. I had this discussion with a friend the other day. I suspect there are people of whatever proclivity (and I'm sure that label will offend someone) who are too busy being happy to give a care about the culture wars. OTOH, there are people who are chronic complainers or perpetually angry. How many of those do you think took up a woke-approved lifestyle label because they saw it as a license to indulge their non-stop unhappiness with everything except themselves?

Dr Stella Immanuel, one of the doctors who went viral for saying she’d cured COVID-19, took to Twitter to ask for people’s help, with friends and family of survivors also coming forward.
"We are being attacked, ridiculed and discredited," she said.
"We need our patients to SPEAK UP. If you have been cured by this drug, share your story online using this hashtag. #HCQWorks."
The Houston GP said she had successfully treated more than 350 coronavirus patients with hydroxychloroquine, zinc and Zithromax, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections.
Hydroxychloroquine is used for treatment of malaria and certain auto-immune diseases but doctors have claimed it works for COVID-19.
It’s also gained the support of President Donald Trump and other politicians.
In Australia its use for treatment of COVID-19 is considered "off-label".
"There is currently no clear data to inform clinical guidance on the use, dosing, or duration for COVID-19 treatment," the Therapeutic Goods Administration says.

Lord Garth, as I pointed out earlier, they were designed to "fail" by waiting until the patient was very sick and then administering an overdose of the medicine with the objective of "proving" it didn't work.

Well over 30 years they have waged a war on cancer. The common cold a similar effort but not nearly so expensive but now money is being thrown at that big time. People have found solutions and by word of mouth the information is passed. A medical doctor can only recommend FDA approved medical treatments. I recall a patient asked about vitamin E for her bruising.His response was I cannot recommend that then opens his desk draw but I take them. So each person must choose their own path. Media is so corrupted these days I prefer on the ground day to day person to person input of information. There are many different personalities. Some are sheep some are rams. I maintain a balance, a steady state. I trust my own judgement at this time being the most reliable. Absolutely no fear.

A small group of Metro-Atlanta Fire Fighter / EMS / Hazmat severely infected with C-19 back in early May or June of 2020, were offered to be a part of a small test group of C-19 infected 1st responders.
