[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... i Minister of Defence, Major General Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi, has on Monday said that "the Yemeni Armed Forces possess today more than ever all the factors of strategic deterrent power and are in a race against time to confront all challenges and risks."
During his visit to the fronts of al-Maraziq axis in Jawf province, Major General al-Atifi warned the US-backed Saudi-led coalition against continuing its war and its brutal aggression against the Yemeni people.
He stressed that "if the enemies continue to follow this path of unknown end, they will be defeated and will inevitably go into the dustbin of history."
"The one who returned Jawf to Yemen is able to restore all the lands of the Republic of Yemen," the Defence Minister added.
He thanked the people of Jawf and Mar’ib provinces who stood on the side of the nation and the Yemeni people in defending their illusory sovereignty and independence.

I thought it was starting to smooth out to the new normal. As we had gone from $2.12 to $4.29 and were at $3.44 yesterday.
A customer price training cycle that we have been through before. Where the public was being trained and conditioned to accept a new higher item price, by using very high absurd prices for a period of time. Then gradually lowering the item price to the intended targeted higher price.
[FoxBusiness] This is Biden administration's fifth announced sale of oil from Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
The White House announced Tuesday that the Department of Energy will be issuing a notice to sell 20 million more barrels of oil for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as part of the Biden administration's effort to bring gas prices down.
This makes the fifth such sale that President Biden has authorized. The White House continued to blame "disruptions posed by Russia’s invasion" for the high prices while claiming that the Biden administration's actions are making a tremendous difference.
"In fact, the Department of the Treasury estimates that as a result of these drawdowns both domestically and internationally, the price at the pump for Americans is up to about 40 cents per gallon lower than it otherwise would have been," the White House said in its announcement.
While gas prices are down significantly since a recent national average price of more than $5 per gallon in June, the average as of Tuesday was still $4.327, compared to $3.156 from one year ago, and approximately $2.39 when Biden first took office in January 2021.
Republicans slammed the White House after previous sales from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves after it was made known that millions of barrels were being sent to European and Asian countries, including China.
"The American people deserve answers as to why our emergency energy reserves are being sent to foreign adversaries like the Chinese Communist Party, compromising our energy security and national security," House Energy and Commerce Committee Ranking Member Cathy McMorris Rodgers told Fox News Digital in a statement.
The White House also announced that the Department of Energy is proposing a rule change regarding how the federal government acquires oil for the strategic reserve. The new rule, if adopted, would permit fixed-price contracts as well as index-price contracts. The current rule requires purchase prices to be set by a price index, with the price paid being based on market prices at the time of delivery.
"This proposal, if finalized as proposed, would encourage near-term production, promote market stability, and put the federal government in a better position to respond to future market volatility," the White House said.

LOL to bring gas prices down. They're not even bothering to lie any more. This oil is exported, refined, and sold in distant lands. Not one drop will make it to the gas pump here.
The WH administration controllers decided Biden would sell 1 million barrels of oil per day from the reserve for the next 180 days. Which is about 25% of the total SPR
Depending on the time of year, the United States consumes between 18.6 and 20.1 million barrels of oil daily.
In 2021-22 oil production in the USA was about 16.6 million barrels per day.
Lower end Math Spring/Summer:
18.6 Used - 16.6 produced = -2 Million barrels of Oil short.
Higher End Math this winter:
20.1 Used - 16.6 produced = - 3.5 Million barrels of Oil short.
Supply and demand kicks in, prices go to hell in a hand basket. Fixed income people freeze.
NOTE:
Approximately 60% of the SPR crude oil in the reserve is the less desirable sour (high sulfur content) variety. High-sulfur crude oils produce greater emissions, particularly those emissions that are toxic and have a high global warming potential.
SUMMARY
So Biden's handlers, claiming to protect the environment, caused massive supply and demand shortages. Then turned around, sold SPR High sulfur based oil that causes serious environmental issues.

With a looming potential confrontation with the Chinese, Russians, or a threat to be named later, is this prudent Jojo?

- Deplete the reserves
- Crises
- Declaration all domestic product to
military/reserves
- Gasoline prices explode, or it straight
disappears
- 2 weeks to flatten the curve
- Some industries deemed 'vital to solving the
emergency' will get first in line for gasoline
rations.
[DAWN] The Supreme Court on Tuesday struck down Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari's ruling on Punjab 1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard
2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots.... chief minister's election, declaring his "understanding and implementation" of Article 63A(1)(b) of the Constitution "incorrect and erroneous" as it announced the highly anticipated verdict on PML-Q leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi's petition.
The verdict delivered a big but expected blow to the coalition government as it saw PML-N's Hamza Shehbaz lose his status of the "trustee" chief minister, while his rival Parvez Elahi, who had PTI's backing, will now take over the position as per the top court's order.
A three-member bench comprising Chief Justice of Pakistain (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial and Justices Ijazul Ahsan and Munib Akhtar announced the decision.
During the election, Mazari, the deputy speaker, had decided against counting the votes of 10 PML-Q politicians, which were cast in Elahi’s favour, citing a letter written by party President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain in which he had instructed them to vote for Hamza instead. That decision had tipped the balance in Hamza's favour — an advantage the SC reversed in its verdict tonight.
The top court, in its short order, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, declared all the appointments made by Hamza "illegal" and told the members of his cabinet to vacate their offices.
All of the advisers and assistants appointed by Hamza were also ordered to be relieved of their duties.
The top court ordered for the issuance of Elahi's notification as the new Punjab chief minister immediately, also instructing the governor to take his oath at 11:30pm tonight.

[Rudaw] Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said on Tuesday that he will call on the United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... Security Council members in the coming hours to help Baghdad expel Ottoman Turkish and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) forces from Iraq.
That’s sure to work.
The UN Security Council is expected to discuss Iraq’s situation later tonight, especially the artillery strike, blamed on The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... , which killed nine Iraqi vacationers and injured 31 others in Duhok province's Parakh village on Wednesday. Hussein has arrived in New York to attend the meeting and provide a detailed report on the deadly shelling.
"We are trying to persuade the members of the Security Council to expel Ottoman Turkish forces from Iraqi territory," Hussein was quoted by Iraqi state media as saying. The minister added that he will also request from the Council to "pass a resolution to help Iraq expel the PKK."
"It is our duty to work with the concerned countries to expel the PKK from Iraq."
Turkey has denied killing the nine civilians, with Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important... claiming on Monday that the attack was carried out by the PKK to harm Ankara-Baghdad relations. The Kurdish rebels have denied any involvement in the attack, claiming that its forces were not even present in the area when the incident took place. Hussein confirmed to Rudaw on Saturday that the PKK fighters were not present during the shelling.
Hussein also told the Iraqi state media that Turkey’s insistence that it did not kill the Iraqi holidaymakers "does not help as we have information confirming that it carried out the attack."
Turkey has over 4,000 soldiers as well as 100 military bases in Iraq, according to the Iraqi minister.
Turkey often targets the PKK at home and inside the Kurdistan Region, considering it a "terrorist’ organziation. The group’s stated goal is to struggle for the increased rights of Kurds in Turkey.
The PKK entered the rugged areas of what is now the Kurdistan Region in the eighties following a deal with Peshmerga forces who were revolting against Iraqi former regimes. The Region's authorities have in recent years called on the group to withdraw forces but the rebels have repeatedly refused to leave, claiming that they own the Region as well.
