[NYPOST] Target shoppers fuming over the retailer’s LGBTQ merchandise — including "tuck-friendly" swimwear — have stormed some stores to tear down Pride signs, badger workers and even leave a case of Bud Light alongside the offending items.
The Minneapolis-based chain — which has lost $9 billion in the last week following boycott calls over LGBTQ-friendly kids clothing — has announced it will remove some of the offending items partly due to their workers’ safety fears.
The online fury spilling over into the aisles includes one MAGA hat-wearing provocateur who was filmed ripping down a "#TakePride" sign from a clothing rack of LGBTQ apparel.
Ethan Schmidt — a 24-year-old far-right internet personality who previously made headlines for his off-color remarks — is seen tossing the rainbow-colored sign to the floor before stomping on it and kicking it in the 19-second clip.
Another self-proclaimed patriot and activist, Scott LoBaido, filmed himself on Wednesday at a Staten Island Target location shouting: "Memorial Day weekend, where is the display supporting and showing homage to the men and women of the military?"

"safety fears."
Target senior management and Target senior management alone is responsible for putting their employees in whatever danger they face. No other retailer seems to have to worry about their employees...yet. Senior managers, take note.

Partly due?
You mean your workers' safety is not a numbero uno priority?
Uh-huh, you just can't admit that many people just hate the shit you are selling and the message YOU are sending. The violent ones are the ones Tar-zhay is catering to.

If I had chips, I would not be buying salsa at Target. What could you buy at Target that you can’t get at another store?
BLT flavored Lays potato chips.

...If this happened - and I have my doubts - look up the story of the wargame run by the Imperial Japanese Navy just before the attack on Midway in 1942.
As China and Imperial Japan share a number of cultural and institutional traits, one can be reasonably sure that the folks running the exercise were told to make sure the Ford was sunk.
[Fortune] A dozen poor countries are facing economic instability and even collapse under the weight of hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign loans, much of them from the world’s biggest and most unforgiving government lender, China.
An Associated Press analysis of a dozen countries most indebted to China — including Pakistan, Kenya, Zambia, Laos and Mongolia — found paying back that debt is consuming an ever-greater amount of the tax revenue needed to keep schools open, provide electricity and pay for food and fuel. And it’s draining foreign currency reserves these countries use to pay interest on those loans, leaving some with just months before that money is gone.
Behind the scenes is China’s reluctance to forgive debt and its extreme secrecy about how much money it has loaned and on what terms, which has kept other major lenders from stepping in to help. On top of that is the recent discovery that borrowers have been required to put cash in hidden escrow accounts that push China to the front of the line of creditors to be paid.
Countries in AP’s analysis had as much as 50% of their foreign loans from China and most were devoting more than a third of government revenue to paying off foreign debt. Two of them, Zambia and Sri Lanka, have already gone into default, unable to make even interest payments on loans financing the construction of ports, mines and power plants.

[Breitbart] Master Lock, the United States-based padlock manufacturer, is reportedly set to close its factory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, next year with plans to outsource over 400 American employees’ jobs.
Officials with the United Auto Workers (UAW), who represent many of Master Lock’s employees, said Master Lock executives have informed employees that the Milwaukee plant will shutter by the end of March next year and that their jobs will be outsourced to other existing North American plants.
Americans at the Milwaukee plant produce parts for locks that are then sent to a plant in Mexico where the locks are assembled.
"We are disgusted, yet again, as another profitable corporation has decided to close the doors of a manufacturing icon in corporate America’s never-ending quest for profit, without any regard for the people amassing their wealth," UAW representatives wrote in a statement:

Sort of commie there aren't we? The sole purpose of a company is to make profit. If it doesn't it goes out of business. No one stops you from assembling the 'capital' to buy the company and keep manufacturing in WI. Of course, as a union you fund the progressives(neo-commies) who do nothing but make it complicated and expensive to operate in their domains.

I wouldn't want to stay in Wisconsin, either.
(FWIW, I'm still using Master padlocks out of a box of 20 keyed alike I bought 15 years ago. Probably never need to buy another lock for the rest of my life.)

Any use of the word Master has been determned to be racist (ie Master bedroom, Master key or Masters degree).
[NYPOST] Target has lost $9 billion in market value since angry social media users called for a boycott of the Minneapolis-based retailer over its rollout of the "PRIDE" collection featuring LGBTQ-friendly clothing for children.
A week ago Wednesday before the controversy erupted, Target’s stock closed at $160.96 a share, giving the big-box chain a market capitalization of $74.3 billion.
As of early trading on Thursday, however, shares of the company were trading off 1% at $141.76 — capping a weeklong tumble that has shrunk the "cheap chic" discount retailer’s value to $65.3 billion.
That amounts to a 12% drop that has shaved a whopping $9 billion off the company’s market capitalization.
Target said on Tuesday it was removing some items from its stores and making other changes to its LGBTQ+ merchandise nationwide ahead of Pride month after intense backlash from some customers who confronted workers and tipped over displays.
"Since introducing this year’s collection, we’ve experienced threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and well-being while at work," Target said in a statement on Tuesday.

This is important because the tax code encourages making a lot of top management's compensation in stock. If the stock drops, you do hit senior management right in the pocketbook.
For once, the right people are paying for their mistakes. Similarly Disney, AB, etc.

I'm sure they are having meetings about how to punish us for that impudence.

For once, the right people are paying for their mistakes. Similarly Disney, AB, etc.
They are being forced to calculate whether they lose more by angering their customers in America or disobeying their Mandarin masters in Beijing.
Think about it:
Most of Target's merchandise comes from China, having been cheaply produced by slave labor. Then they mark it up and sell it to us. Cut that supply chain and Target is out of business. So they sell, or at least try to sell, what they're told.
So too with Disney. They get merchandise from China but, also, they distribute their movies and TV shows to the vast Chinese market. If their Mandarin masters decide that certain movies are not suitable for the Chinese market, Disney loses billions of dollars. Disney then, must decide which market is more important. They want to keep both markets so, instead of returning to the methods that Walt taught them, they vilify DeSantis. We'll see if that can work for them or not.
The problem is that so many Americans have already succumbed to the propaganda and don't know any better.

Came back from Ace's, and there is mention like in the other post I noticed, this drop is not about endcapping and free-sampling child p*orn, but about the rampant looting policy of these stores and the municipalities they service.
Next week would show fallout of promoting kiddie diddling among the polite people who pay.
As for the cock-tuckers, why would they buy this cheap, and face it, ugly designed clothing? Shit looks like a frog gone finger painting.
The British Colonial Diplomatic Corps was expert in the overt and covert management of the natives, through relatively efficient management of the economic system, but covertly stoking the regional differences amongst the elite aristocracy of competing tribes, so they were always triangulating the parties to prevent unified reaction to their colonial rule.
Increasingly the Middle Kingdom seems to demonstrate similar behavior here.

#8, it's about what Orwell said. The left's project is to make you deny reality and accept the unacceptable as a means of diminishing and humiliating you.
They have allotted a budget for that in the corporate boardrooms, but the proles are reacting in a way that's knocking the crap out of their budgetary assumptions of what the project would cost.

BLUF:
[American Greatness] Carlson is "obsessed with me," Epps told reporter Bill Whitaker, who repeatedly used the term "conspiracy theory" to describe claims Epps’ acted as a federal agent during the Capitol protest. "He’s going to any means possible to destroy me."
Now it appears Carlson was, in fact, prepared to address Epps’ interview in his April 24 monologue. Chadwick Moore, author of an upcoming biography on Carlson, revealed in a video message posted on Twitter on Monday that Carlson’s scheduled monologue that night "dealt with, among other things, investigations around January 6 and particularly Ray Epps, the only person captured on video inciting people to violence at the Capitol that day and allegedly an FBI informant who still has not been arrested or charged."
Carlson quote-tweeted Moore’s video with a wide-eye emoji to confirm Moore’s report.
If true, Fox News executives join a long list of Ray Epps’ sympathizers both in the news media and in Congress. For example, former Representative Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), who was vice chairman of the January 6 select committee, publicly condemned "conspiracy theories about the role that [Epps] was playing that day." Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), also formerly a member of the committee, routinely covered for Epps, even insisting Epps "broke no laws," when he clearly did.
[Gateway] Over two years ago, on January 5, 2021, a suspect planted pipe bombs near the Washington DC RNC and DNC headquarters the night before the January 6, 2021 protests.
The culprit was caught on video but never caught by the FBI — the greatest intelligence service in the world.
The US Capitol was shut down on January 6 after the feds found the bombs near the Republican and Democrat Party headquarters.
As previously reported — A mysterious suspect planted two pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC DC Headquarters and safely detonated by a bomb squad on January 6.

The FBI and DoJ just blows them off because they know 2024 is fixed. It has to be or they're toast. Self preservation vs the last vestiges of the old republic.

Were the devices intended as a criminal predicate for a wide-spread investigation into the entire J6 protest? Absent such a "threat" there have been little justification for so massive an investigative effort for a largely peaceful demonstration?

[Daily Caller] FBI Director Christopher Wray is "probably doing everything he can" not to give the House Oversight Committee a document related to President Joe Biden, Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene told the Daily Caller in an exclusive interview.
The FBI knows "what’s on the document. And the thing is, we know what’s on the document too. And they shouldn’t be withholding it. It’s unclassified, so they have no excuse," said Greene, a member of the Oversight Committee.
Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has threatened to hold Wray in contempt of Congress if the agency keeps refusing to comply with a subpoena to disclose the FD-1023 document. He is giving Wray until May 30 to comply with the committee’s subpoena and turn over the document.

For many years leftists didn’t trust the FBI. Feds are now the leftist’s best friends. Pinkos and conservatives have both seen the evidence that the Federal Government is totally corrupt. The leftists like what they see.

turn the JEH building into a parking garage. If they cant be trusted they are of no use.
[BenarNews] The U.S. military plans to construct more than a dozen projects at four Philippine sites including bases it will use under a newly expanded defense deal, a Filipino armed forces front man said Thursday.
The United States will fund and build 14 projects at locations including the Lal-lo Airport in the northern province of Cagayan, which directly faces Taiwan, and on Balabac, an island in Palawan province that faces the South China Sea. The projects will include improvements at Naval Base Camilo Osias in Cagayan and at an army camp in Isabela, another province on the main northern Philippines island of Luzon, the military said.
Philippine military front man Col. Medel Aguilar said the projects consist of the construction of a pier, rehabilitation of a runway, establishment of a command-and-control fusion system, and construction of a mess hall and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response hangars.
"On the new sites, we have identified the projects in those areas," Aguilar told news hounds as he emphasized that the projects were aligned with military goals.
The projects "will strengthen our capabilities because these EDCA sites will facilitate the conduct of training," Aguilar said, referring to the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement, a bilateral pact that was broadened earlier this year.
The construction will happen after Manila agreed under the EDCA to permit Washington to have access to more Philippine bases amid tensions between China and the U.S. over Taiwan and between China, Taiwan and countries that have contending territorial claims in the South China Sea.
While Aguilar did not say how much would be spent for the projects, the foreign affairs department previously said that Washington had informed Manila about plans to spend at least U.S. $100 million for upgrades at a total of nine military bases, which U.S. troops can access under the agreement.
The EDCA is a supplemental agreement to the Visiting Forces Agreement, a pact that specifically grants legal cover to large-scale joint maneuvers by the two longtime allies. In addition, the two nations are bound by the 1951 Mutual Defense Agreement to aid each other if one comes under attack.
Earlier this month, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. told a security forum in Washington that Philippine bases would not be used to stage attacks against a third country.
Instead, he played down widespread public fears here that the Philippines would be embroiled in conflict should China attack Taiwan, a U.S. ally considered a renegade province by China.
In the Philippines, U.S. troops may position assets at EDCA sites to respond to emergency situations, including natural disasters.
"If we will be attacked, of course we can use that. Only if we are attacked, which is remote from happening," Aguilar said.
The defense treaty says each party recognizes that an armed attack in the Pacific region on either party "would be dangerous to its own peace and safety and declares that it would act to meet the common dangers in accordance with its constitutional processes."
The treaty notes that such an attack "is deemed to include an armed attack on the metropolitan territory of either of the Parties, or on the Island territories under its jurisdiction in the Pacific Ocean, its armed forces, public vessels or aircraft in the Pacific."
Aguilar said projects to be implemented at the new EDCA sites were "discussed at the higher level and as I have said, it’s aligned with the modernization program, the capability upgrade.
"Therefore, it is also us who identified [the sites] and it was agreed on both sides," he said.
In April when the four bases were revealed, the U.S. Department of Defense said the locations would allow Washington "to respond more seamlessly together to address a range of shared challenges in the Indo-Pacific region."
The Envy of Our DoJ and Deep State - Iran, the Ultimate in Judicial Control
[Amnesty International] Responding to the execution of three tortured protesters — Majid Kazemi, Saleh Mirhashemi and Saeed Yaghoubi — following a grossly unfair trial that bore no resemblance to meaningful judicial proceedings, Diana Eltahawy, Amnesty International’s Deputy Director for the Middle East and North Africa, said:
"We are horrified by the chilling execution of these protesters this morning. They were sentenced to death less than two months after their arrest and executed just weeks after the Supreme Court rubber-stamped their unjust convictions and sentences without any regard for the lack of evidence and serious allegations of torture. The shocking speed at which these men were ushered to their deaths illustrates the Iranian authorities’ flagrant disregard for the rights to life and a fair trial." "Evidence?" Who needs evidence.
"These executions are designed by the Iranian authorities to send a strong message to the world and the people of Iran that they will stop at nothing to crush and punish dissent. In the absence of a robust international response, the authorities will continue to revel, unabated, in their impunity with lethal consequences for people in Iran." "Strong message?" J6 people, consider yourselves lucky. USAF veteran Ashli Babbitt, not so much.
