Since the election, corresponding to Biden's influences, or prior to the election, suggesting that's why Trump lost those states (aside from cheating, of course).

[NYPOST] New York City schools have canceled the Columbus Day holiday, replacing it with an Indigenous Peoples’ Day, while also making Juneteenth a school holiday and getting rid of snow days altogether.
The city Department of Education called Oct. 11 "Indigenous Peoples’ Day" in the 2021-2022 calendar it posted on its website Tuesday, flagging the beginning and end dates for the school year as well as winter and spring recesses but not the big changes within in a tweet.
The move, which was announced, however, in a blurb to education beat news hounds, officially cancels for school kid recognition what remains a federal, state and city holiday on the second Monday in October — although the Indigenous Peoples’ holiday will give students and teachers the same day off.

So, they don't want to be Americans anymore? Just members of tribes.
Columbus day was initiated as an act of 'inclusiveness' to the large number of legal Italian immigrants that had come to America. The dude was from Genoa even though hired by Spain.
The indigenous people were the same as anyone else, tribal, territorial, and hierarchical. Basically stuck in a stone age, they competed for territory and warred upon each other. What happened was a society with better organization and technology showed up. Happened when Asians decided to come to Europe as with the Huns and Mongols, and later the Turks. They don't call it Hungary for nothing.

G(rom), it's worse than than that.
Juneteenth is the day that the Emancipation Proclamation was announced as a law in Galveston on June 19th 1865. It has already been law in the North for two years, and the word and enforcement finally got down here after the end of the war.

[MSN] Inflation looks to be in warp overdrive judging by the worrying commentary by corporate chieftains this earnings season. Anybody who's bought groceries has noticed this.
Mentions of inflation on first quarter corporate earnings calls have went kaboom! 800% year-over-year, according to new research from Bank of America Securities strategist Savita Subramanian. By sector, inflation was most prevalent in materials, consumer and industrial companies. Most sectors have cited inflation more than the historical norm, Subramanian notes. If there's 1.2T in circulation and you put another 1.9T in circulation, what's your inflation rate? Bob? (Quick answer if your name's Mugabe: 146.15 percent)
Some of the biggest jumps in inflation mention were tied to transportation, materials and labor outlays. Transportation->feed costs->-transportation->meat->transportation->groceries
So far, inflation hasn't crushed the bottom lines of companies as the world economies are roaring back and demand is strong for goods and services. "Higher mentions of pricing, coupled with a record net margin, suggest inflation so far has been positive for corporate earnings," Subramanian says.
Out of the 303 companies from the S&P 500 that have reported, earnings growth is tracking up 41% BofA's data shows.
BofA's data highlights a serious pickup in inflation being felt throughout corporate America, which could pressure profits later this year as economic growth cools.
"We are seeing substantial inflation," Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett said at the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder meeting exclusively live-streamed by Yahoo Finance. "We are raising prices. People are raising prices to us, and it's being accepted."
Buffett called out much higher steel costs impacting Berkshire's housing and furniture businesses.

[NYPOST] Disgraced former New York Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver has been sprung from federal prison early on furlough — while he awaits a decision from the agency on whether he can serve out the remainder of his term in home confinement, a report said Tuesday.
Silver — who has served less than a year of his 6 1/2-year sentence — was cut loose from Otisville Prison, in Orange County, New York, and released to his home while awaiting the decision, a source familiar with the matter told the News Agency that Dare Not be Named.
The 77-year-old crooked former pol was released under DOJ’s expanded powers to grant inmates release amid the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic, according to the report. Liberty for him. If it was the rest of us, it'd be justice for all.
In a statement, the Bureau of Prisons said Silver is still "designated" to Otisville Prison, but added that it has the power to transfer inmates to their home on furlough.
"We can share that the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) has authority to transfer inmates to their home on furlough for periods of time while they may continue to be considered for home confinement designation," a spokesperson said.
The BOP recently notified prosecutors in the Southern District of New York that it was considering cutting Silver loose on home confinement, a spokesperson for the district told The Post.

The 2020 US Census brought to you by the Democrat Party and Dominion.
[Townhall] There is something very fishy about the new 2020 Census Bureau data determining which states picked up seats and which states lost seats.
Most all of the revisions to the original estimates have moved in one direction: Population gains were added to blue states, and population losses were subtracted from red states. The December revisions in population estimates under the Biden Census Bureau added some 2.5 million blue-state residents and subtracted more than 500,000 red-state residents. These population estimates determine how many electoral votes each state receives for presidential elections and the number of congressional seats in each state.
Is this a mere coincidence?
The original projections for the Census reapportionment had New York losing two seats, Rhode Island losing a seat and Illinois perhaps losing two seats. Instead, New York and Illinois only lost one seat, and Rhode Island lost no seats. Meanwhile, Texas was expected to gain three seats, Florida two seats and Arizona one seat. Instead, Texas gained only two seats, Florida only one and Arizona none.
Ohio lost two representatives in 2010 and another this time, which apparently matches expectations.

I head Trump comment that Luntz had a meeting with him trying to sell what his polling firm had to offer and when denied suddenly every poll by the Luntz folks went badly against Trump.
It's anecdotal but sounds like a shake-down attempt of sorts.

They should all be made to live in unheated barracks with basic field latrines while in Washington DC. That will give them some incentive to spend more time in their districts and quit trying to outdo each other in the overpriced real estate market surrounding the District.

[TheTimes] The name’s Klain — President Klain. Washington insiders delight in assigning the White House chief of staff this mischievous title as the driving force behind the actual president, Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem mschine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family... . The man himself, Ron Klain, would never describe himself this way, but his firm grip on the levers of government has enabled the 78-year-old president to cruise through his first 100 days in office without breaking sweat.
Everybody who is anybody in Washington knows Klain, although few people outside the Beltway — the ring road surrounding the capital — have heard of him. He is a powerful, confident operator who knows the business of government inside out. Trusted to exercise power and take decisions, he keeps his boss informed while lifting the burden of office from him.

[BREITBART] Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) said Tuesday that the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) will expand their list of target Democrat-controlled districts in their mission to take back the House majority.
The NRCC released its increased list of districts to target after the U.S. Census Bureau announced many swing and Democrat-leaning districts will lose a congressional seat. The reapportionment data will reshape the makeup of congressional districts in a way that could create an opening for Republicans to flip enough districts to take back the House majority during the 2022 midterm elections.
Emmer said that Republicans continue to play on offense now that Democrats have to defend their "socialist" agenda.
"Republicans are on offense all across the country," Emmer said in a statement Tuesday. "Every House Democrat is facing an uphill battle having to defend their toxic socialist agenda that prioritizes trillion-dollar tax hikes on the middle class, opens our borders, closes our schools and defunds the police."
The new targeted districts include:
Rep. Ami Bera (D-CA)
Rep. Jim Costa (D-CA)
Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA)
Rep. Marie Newman (D-IL)
Rep. Dan Kildee (D-MN)
Rep. Kathleen Rice (D-NY)
Rep. Paul Tonko (D-NY)
Rep. Joe Morelle (D-NY)
Rep. Brian Higgins (D-NY)
Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA)
Except for Pennsylvania, aren’t those all Blue states? Bold!
Republicans announced plans to target 47 Democrats representing battleground districts, Democrats that underperformed compared to the 2020 presidential ballot, and those that may be impacted by redistricting.
Further compounding Democrats’ problems, several Democrats have announced that they will either retire or seek higher office.
Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-IL), a former Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) chair and a top ally of House Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments... (D-CA), announced last week that she will not seek reelection.
Reps. Conor Lamb (D-PA) and Tim Ryan (D-OH) reportedly plan to run for higher office and Reps. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ) and Filemon Vela (D-TX) intend to retire.
An NRCC poll released in April found that Republicans are projected to win back the House.

[FREEBEACON] After voters in Southlake, Texas, rejected the efforts of left-wing activists to mandate "cultural competence" training in K-12 schools, NBC News lamented the "bitterly divided" contest, even though two-thirds of the electorate backed candidates who opposed the controversial proposal.
The Comcast subsidiary's reporting on the election results is almost comically biased in its framing of the dispute. The election, which saw unusually high turnout compared with similar contests, is described as a showdown between candidates who "supported new diversity and inclusion training requirements" for students and teachers on one side, and "those backed by a political action committee that was formed last year to defeat the plan."
The activist-backed proposal, unveiled in 2020, called for mandating cultural sensitivity training from "enrollment to graduation," establishing a "systemic process for consistently tracking and reporting microaggressions and incidents of discrimination," and creating a Director of Equity and Inclusion position with an annual salary of $125,000. The NBC News report described opponents as either "conservative" or "white," while its backers were merely "pro-diversity."
The election took place on May 1. Opponents of the plan swept every race on the ballot: two city council seats, two school board seats, and the mayoral race. The smallest margin of victory was 36 percentage points. The decisive result comes at a time when the Democratic Party is facing a backlash for its efforts to promote racially charged policies at every level of politics, while casting its opponents as racists.
The local Democratic Party, via its Twitter account, did precisely that a month prior to the election in Southlake, urging voters to reject the "racist candidates" who would go on to win. The tweet was ultimately deleted.

[THEEPOCHTIMES] Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill banning COVID-19 vaccine passports and also announced an executive order that suspends all local pandemic emergency mandates effective July 1.
DeSantis signed Senate Bill 2006, passed by Florida state politicians last month granting DeSantis the ability to override local emergency orders. The bill also includes a ban on vaccine passports that would levy fines of $5,000 per violation.
"I’m going to sign the bill. It’s effective July 1. I’ll also sign an executive order pursuant to that bill invalidating all remaining local emergency COVID orders effective on July 1," the Republican governor said in a news conference in St. Petersburg on Monday. "But then, to bridge the gap between then and now, I’m going to suspend, under my executive power, the local emergency orders as it relates to COVID."
[NATIONALREVIEW] The Texas Democratic leader who called Senator Tim Scott an "oreo" has resigned in response to mounting pressure from state officials on both sides of the aisle.
"I am deeply and sincerely sorry for my inappropriate and hurtful use of racist term I used to describe Sen. Tim Scott on my personal Facebook page. It was insensitive, and I have embarrassed myself and my party by its use," Lamar County Democratic Party Chairman Gary O’Connor told the Washington Examiner Tuesday.
"As a result, I feel compelled to offer my resignation as chair of the Lamar County Democratic Party for consideration by the County Executive Committee," O’Connor said.
At least he understands that much.
After Scott delivered the Republican rebuttal to President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. The very model of probity.... ’s joint address to Congress, O’Connor labeled the senator an "Oreo", referring to a black individual who is perceived as displaying characteristics of a white person.
"I had hoped that Scott might show some common sense, but it seems clear he is little more than an oreo with no real principles," the Texas Democrat commented.
