[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] New Jersey Gov. Philip Murphy, a Democrat, wants to dramatically increase the permits and licenses needed to buy and carry a firearm in his state. You vote for them, you deserve them.
The New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... reports it costs $5 to get a firearm identification card, $2 for the permit to own a firearm, and $20 for the permit to carry.
Under Murphy's budget proposal, the firearm identification card will jump from $5 to $100, the owner’s permit will go up from $2 to $40, and the permit to carry, the largest increase, will go from $20 to $400. For all three licenses and permits, the price would increase by 2,000%.
"There’s no war on responsible gun owners," Mr. Murphy said in an interview. "We can support the efforts of the attorney general, state troopers, county and local law enforcement, to do the stuff we need to do: track crime, track gun violence, combat trafficking of illegal guns," he told the Times.
"I was in Jersey City," he said. "It’s at least $10 to get a dog license in Jersey City. It’s still $2 to get a permit to purchase a firearm in New Jersey," he added. He also wants a "ammunition excise tax of 10% and a firearms excise tax of 2.5%."
The governor's proposal will further increase retail gun dealer licenses from $50 to $500, NJ.com reported in March.

There's no Constitutional right to keep and bear dogs.

...Yeah, again these people haven't thought this sort of thing through. Against SCOTUS scrutiny this will last about thirty seconds.

"There’s no war on responsible gun owners,"
I think politicians who lie so brazenly deserve 50,000 volts through their balls when they say such obvious bullshit. A financial war is still a war. With this and all the other crap this guy's doing, he's simply insuring more people move out of the state.

So criminals and cops will be the only ones with firearms. What do criminals care about permits, fees and legal carry, they are after all criminals.
Stupidity trumps common sense. This is a twofer for New Jersey govmint. They are creating a stream of revenue for crooked politicians and about punishing law-abiding citizens who legally carry a firearm for protection.

Upon re-election ex-governor Philip Murphy blamed the NRA for backing his candidate and turning voters against him with lies about his anti-gun policies.
How you gonna enforce it, Gov? Virtue signals, perhaps?

I really think it's a shame these assholes, as well as the ones in Californica, only pay four dollars a gallon per gas. It's war on the working class that the glorified perl script weenies that run the state don't have to pay thirty bucks a gallon.

How do the old and new fees compare to other states? I tried to look up what it costs here in Ohio, but couldn’t find anything recent except that some years ago a concealed carry license cost $67 plus a mandatory training course,
[THECONSERVATIVETREEHOUSE] Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... , not President Trump, representing his affiliated private business interests, has filed for a temporary restraining order (full pdf below) against House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings ...Representative-for-life from Maryland, representing half of Baltimore City, which makes his district ultra-safe, and most of Howard County, which is out-populated by the city. Cummings' politix are so liberal they're tedious... and his committee representatives and officers.
You might remember when Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. Formerly Speaker of the House, but it's not her fault they lost. Really. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace... changed the House Rules earlier this year. Part of the rule changes were to modify the responsibilities of the House Government Affairs Oversight Committee. Speaker Pelosi removed all other oversight responsibility and shifted the committee to a singular oversight role focused only on the White House.
Chairman Cummings is demanding the personal financial records of Donald Trump and all of his business interests around the Trump organization. The demand includes all personal and private financial records including tax filings from individuals, officers and corporate entities within the Trump organization. As a private, non-public corporation, this demand for financial records would encompass the entire Trump family.

Good for Trump. Cummings is one of the most slimy, despictable people in government. Stick a condom over his head and you will have a complete picture.

Kudos to all the activists who have fought long and hard against the #1 problem facing our nation today--discrimination based on hairstyles. The time has finally come to end this hateful and invidious practice. /sarc necessary?

[Fox News] Hillary Clinton said Tuesday she believes Donald Trump would have been indicted in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe if he weren't president, though stopped short of calling for his impeachment.
Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president in 2016, argued during a Q&A session in New York that Mueller's report "could not be clearer" in making the case Trump tried to obstruct the Russia investigation -- even though Mueller did not come to an explicit conclusion on that question.
"I think there's enough there that any other person who had engaged in those acts would certainly have been indicted," Clinton said at the "Time 100 Summit." "But because of the rule in the Justice Department that you can't indict a sitting president, the whole matter of obstruction was very directly sent to the Congress." Someone left the irony on
Clinton, who was defeated by Trump in the election, said it's too early to call for Trump's impeachment. She said she supports Congress investigating Mueller's findings "based on evidence" and without a "preordained conclusion."
After a thorough examination in Congress, Clinton said, "If at that point they believe high crimes and misdemeanors have been committed, then I think it is the obligation of the Congress to put forward articles of impeachment."
"I'm really of the mind that the Mueller report is part of the beginning," Clinton said. "It's not the end."
Earlier Tuesday, senior White House adviser Jared Kushner ripped into the Russia investigations, saying the probes have been "way more harmful" than Russia's election meddling.
The comments were made in the wake of Mueller's report saying investigators found no evidence the Trump campaign illegally conspired with Russia in election meddling.
"When you look at what Russia did, buying some Facebook ads and trying to sow dissent, it's a terrible thing," Kushner said at the Time event. "But I think the investigations and all of the speculation that's happened for the last two years has a much harsher impact on our democracy than a couple Facebook ads." Yea, look in the mirror!

#1 Indeed, Trump has turned over a lot of rocks and exposed lots of slimy critters crawling out.
Trump must be doing damage to the DS and crooked Dems as there is more pushback and panic than I've ever seen. He has taken a lot of slings, barbs, missiles and nukes and is still standing. Makes me realize he is the right guy for the job.

If Trump never gets anything else done, at least he kept Hillary away from power. That's a major accomplishment for the good of all mankind right there.

Ima looking at the bright side of her making this comment - we're no longer getting the excuse du jour for her 2016 loss.
