[APNEWS] FBI agents last year interviewed the gunman who fatally shot eight people at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis, the bureau said Friday, as Sherlocks searched the home of the 19-year-old former FedEx employee. "But our taskforce was called away to investigate a noose in Bubba Wallace's garage"
Coroners began the slow process of identifying the victims as family members spent hours agonizing over word of their loved ones. The slayings Thursday night marked the latest in a string of recent mass shootings to rock the U.S.
The shooter was identified as Brandon Scott Hole of Indianapolis, Deputy Police Chief Craig McCartt told a news conference. Investigators searched a home in Indianapolis associated with Hole and seized evidence, including desktop computers and other electronic media, McCartt said.
Paul Keenan, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Indianapolis field office, said Friday that agents questioned Hole last year after his mother called police to say that her son might commit "suicide by cop." He said the FBI was called after items were found in Hole’s bedroom but he did not elaborate on what they were. He said agents found no evidence of a crime and that they did not identify Hole as espousing a racially motivated ideology.
McCartt said Hole was a former employee of the company and last worked for FedEx in 2020. McCartt said he did not know why Hole left the job or if he had ties to the workers in the facility. He said police have not yet uncovered a motive for Thursday’s shooting but added that law enforcement officers seized a gun from him last year. McCartt also said authorities are still identifying the victims and that not all of the victims’ families have been notified.

[PJ] A black activist with the Black Lives Matter of Greater New York is questioning the finances of the national group following the highly publicized purchase of an expensive home by its founder, Patrisse Cullors. In response, the national organization began sending the activist cease-and-desist letters because he apparently isn’t directly affiliated with the group and they object to him using the "Black Lives Matter" name.
Hawk Newsome, the leader of an organization that is not officially affiliated with the parent organization criticized the "trained Marxist" "for presenting herself as a socialist while at the same time purchasing four homes across the U.S. since 2016 for a total of $3.2 million," according to the Daily Caller.
"If you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have to ask how much of her own personal money is going to charitable causes," Newsome told the New York Post on Sunday. "It’s really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it’s the people that carry this movement."

[THEFEDERALIST] CBS News deceptively cropped body camera footage that showed a 13-year-old boy holding a gun before he was fatally shot by reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... police in March.A law enforcement officer fatally shot Adam Toledo during an encounter in response to gunshots heard on a police scanner. Police said Toledo ignored "verbal directions, fled, used significant force, and was armed with a semiautomatic pistol," which is why the officer fired.
Body cam footage released this week appears to show Toledo holding a weapon moments before he was shot, but CBS News posted a clip to its website and Twitter page that cropped out the footage showing the teen’s alleged firearm.
The CBS News article accompanying the cropped video did not directly acknowledge that Toledo was armed. Instead, the corporate media organization aired opposing claims from Eric Stillman, the law enforcement officer, who said he shot Toledo because he was "faced with a life-threatening and deadly force situation," and Toledo’s family attorney, who claimed the gun was not in the teen’s hands when Stillman fired off a shot. CBS News did not respond to The Federalist’s request for comment.
While a semiautomatic pistol was recovered at the scene, multiple politicians such as Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot ...the diminutive and vacuous Heronner da Mare of Chicago. When the corpse count rises she blames the guns, which are banned anyway... claimed there was "no evidence" the teen fired the weapon before he was shot. Failed Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang ...Former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate. Unlike most of the other Dem 2020 candidates, he actually did things besides politix in his adult life, which made him political poison. He worked in startups and early-stage growth companies as a founder or executive from 2000 to 2009. After he founded Venture for America, the Obama administration selected him in 2012 as a Champion of Change and in 2015 as a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship. His signature campaign policy is what he calls the Freedom Dividend, a form of Universal Basic Income for every American over 18. Yang believes UBI is a necessary response to the rapid development of automation that is leading to workforce challenges. The other two central elements of Yang's platform are Medicare for All and Human-Centered Capitalism.... tweeted that Toledo was "unarmed" during the incident.

F---ing liars.
Separately, we learn that Drill Sergeant Ientland in South Carolina wasn't 'harassing' a peaceful honor student innocently traipsing through his neighborhood. In fact the kid is a mental patient who just a few days before had been seen and reported by Sgt. Pentland's neighbors groping one of the women in the neoghborhood -- putting his hand down her shorts and his other arm around her -- and snatching a baby from a stroller.
Groping a woman and snatching a baby. In Pentland's neighborhood.
And he's supposed to stand idly by when this dangerous freak comes back to the neighborhood?
So now we're to be prosecuted for refusing to be cucks?

Maybe the only answer is to require video editing equipment to visibly watermark all video put through it as EDITED diagonally across the screen. Yes, I'm sure the software companies and users will understand that's needed. For public safety and such...

Remember when NBC edited George Zimmerman's 911 call. These deceiving MSM vermin...and they get away with it time & time again.

It's a free speech issue. MSBS [Mainstream BS] gets to say anything they wish and suffer no consequences from their lies. An alternate stream is greatly needed. Any links to the unedited video would be helpful here.

I remember Dan Rather's Microsoft Word edition of a fake bit of military correspondence created for the occasion of one of W's election campaigns. Hardly a man is now alive who remembers that famous date and year.

a document expert, Peter Tytell, who concluded the documents used by CBS were produced using current word processing technology.[130]
Tytell concluded ... that (i) the relevant portion of the Superscript Exemplar was produced on an Olympia manual typewriter, (ii) the Killian documents were not produced on an Olympia manual typewriter and (iii) the Killian documents were produced on a computer in Times New Roman typestyle [and that] the Killian documents were not produced on a typewriter in the early 1970s and therefore were not authentic.

One day, Texas may be as civilized as Oklahoma or Kansas.
(not sure if that will speed things up, or cause A Rival's Hesitation)
Had to check the link to see if 1/month was a requirement, because whoah my list.
National Shooting Sports Foundation figures show there are “approximately 71.2 million pistol magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds, and 79.2 million rifle magazines capable of holding 30 or more rounds in circulation.”
Uh huh. I heard that in the same voice as when I'm doing dishes and the kids tell me all the dishes in their room have been brought to the kitchen.
But go ahead. Take a nominally well behaved law abiding well armed segment of our population, and encourage them to get used to breaking the law. Great plan.

Texas has made a lot of progress over the past 20 or so years. First, concealed carry came into law. Then open carry. Texas now recognizes permits from 44 other states.

HAVANA (AP) — Raul Castro said Friday he is stepping down as head of Cuba’s Communist Party, ending an era of formal leadership that began with his brother Fidel and country’s 1959 revolution.
The 89-year-old Castro made the announcement in a speech at the opening of the eighth congress of the ruling party, the only one allowed on the island.
He said he was retiring with the sense of having "fulfilled his mission and confident in the future of the fatherland."
"Nothing, nothing, nothing is forcing me to make this decision," said Castro, part of whose speech to the closed Congress was aired on state television. "As long as I live I will be ready with my foot in the stirrup to defend the homeland, the revolution and socialism with more force than ever."
Castro didn’t say who he would endorse as his successor as first secretary of the Communist Party. But he previously indicated he favors yielding control to 60-year-old Miguel Díaz-Canel, who succeeded him as president in 2018 and is the standard bearer of a younger generation of loyalists who have been pushing an economic opening without touching Cuba’s one-party system.
[USNInews] While the current build-up of Russian forces near Ukraine rivals the 2014 annexation of Crimea — when Russia openly backed separatists trying to sever ties to Kyiv — the United States’ top commander in Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... today described the threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine in the coming weeks as between "low and medium." "just a little sear on the outside but pink in the middle"
Testifying Thursday before the House Armed Services Committee, Air Force Gen. Tod Wolters said whether the threat will continue to increase after that "depends on the disposition of the forces."

I think we should throw the Rooskis a curve ball, run the ol' razzle-dazzle on 'em. I think *we* should invade the Ukraine.
The Russians will be taken by surprise, as will the Ukrainians. But Joe and Hunter probably know some guys who know some guys who can make the 'invasion' more like an exercise. Besides, we need to do something with the troops and equipment we are withdrawing from elsewhere.

^ Hmm, that's creative thinking. But I think the Ukrainian play is (1) to promise to vote Democrat in perpetuity (2) apply to become the 51st state (or 53rd after DC and Puerto Rico).

And if the Russians have any smarts -- and boy do they -- they'll time the assault to coincide with the Floyd verdict. And put Antifa flags on the lead vehicles.

[AlAhram] Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow will order 10 US diplomats to leave Russia in a retaliatory response to the US sanctions.
Lavrov also said that Moscow will add eight U.S. officials to its sanctions list and move to restrict and stop the activities of U.S. nongovernment organizations from interfering in Russia's politics.
He added that while Russia has a possibility to take ``painful measures'' against the American business in Russia, it wouldn't immediately move to do that.
The moves follow a barrage of new sanctions on Russia announced this week by the Biden administration.
The Tidal Wave that hit the Japanese Nuclear plant was on the EAST Coast of Japan.
Japan plans in 2023 to release radiated water in the Middle-Pacific about 1,500 miles away, in the other direction and far away from inhabited islands.
Which has it headed away from Japan, China, Russia, South & North Korea. The non-classified island base is Midway Island 2500+ miles away
Now IF North Korea or China dumped Nuke stuff in the in the East China Sea, The Eastern Sea or the Yellow Sea, that's different discussion.

...There's a distinct possibility that this was dropped yesterday to help tamp down Congressional response - which is going to be furious.
The bottom line, however, is that Congress refused to allocate the money to get the other options, and Starship is the low bidder. Plus, it works, or at least works better than the other options and at least exists, which is more than one can say for the NASA options. Stay tuned, this may not be over yet....

[AlAhram] Myanmar's coup has opened an unexpected window of opportunity for the various ethnic rebel outfits, which have no loyalty to either the junta or to deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi, but could together pose a threat to the army's rule.
The country has been in turmoil since the military ousted Suu Kyi in February, crushing a 10-year experiment with democracy that had been enthusiastically embraced by the dominant Bamar ethnicity.
But for many ethnic minorities, her administration was more foe than friend.
