The Washington D.C. Medical Examiner’s office has ruled Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt’s death as a homicide, American Greatness learned on Wednesday. Babbitt, an Air Force veteran and small business owner, was shot dead inside the U.S. Capitol by a law enforcement officer on January 6.
In a press release to American Greatness, D.C. Chief Medical Examiner Francisco J. Diaz, M.D., revealed the cause and manner of death of four individuals who died during or after the Capitol riot.
Diaz determined that Babbitt, 35, died as a result of a gunshot wound to her left anterior shoulder, and called the manner of her death a "homicide."
The medical examiner’s office defined "homicide" as a "death [that] results from the intentional harm of one person by another, including actions of grossly reckless behavior." The unarmed Babbitt was in the process of climbing through a window near a barricaded door when a plainclothes officer fired the shot without warning. Watch the video of her shooting (warning: graphic images).
Taylor Hansen, a Gateway Pundit reporter who was on the scene, said in an interview that he saw the officer run away after he shot Babbitt.
Two other Trump supporters—Kevin Greeson, 55, and Benjamin Phillips, 50—were determined to have died "natural" causes following the melee. Roseanne Boyland, 34, was found to have died of a drug overdose.
The medical examiner’s office defined a "natural death" as "used when a disease alone causes death. If death is hastened by an injury, the manner of death is not considered natural."
The medical examiner said he has not yet been able to determine the cause of death for Officer Brian Sicknick.
"The cause and manner of death for Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick are pending," the press release said.
From the Legal Dictionary:
Homicide: The killing of one human being by another human being. Although the term homicide is sometimes used synonymously with murder, homicide is broader in scope than murder. Murder is a form of criminal homicide; other forms of homicide might not constitute criminal acts.
In other words this does nothing in terms of justice for the murder of Ashli Babbit.

The mere name of the suspect is a mystery only The Shadow knows.
Why, he may not even be a plain clothes officer, or even certified private security. He might even have a background which would make people wonder what he was actually there for.

Good find, Bertie McCoy3180, though it was Abu Uluque who asked the question I would have done, had he not handled it already. :-) If you also remember me as tall and slender, my transformation will be complete. ;-)

Sorry for the mix up. I was reading comments from several open windows and your name was the one I remembered. Must have been your rapier wit and svelteness (a word?) that captivated my eyes.
[DAILYWIRE] the Socialist paradise of San Francisco ...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964... , Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, is losing residents at a record pace, many of whom are migrating to states such as Texas and Florida, according to a recent study.
San Francisco has lost more residents between 2019 and 2020 than any other major U.S. city, according to data compiled by the commercial realty firm CBRE Group and reported by Business Insider. The study discovered that the number of those fleeing San Francisco to Texas spiked 32.1%, and those making the trek to Florida skyrocketed by 46.2%.
Unicorn investor Keith Rabois, who has moved to Miami, maintained that the Bay Area is losing its lucrative tech talent, telling Business Insider that "many of the most ambitious people on the planet have lived here, but post-COVID, I think the concentration of talent has atrophied, perhaps permanently."
Most of those who left San Francisco, however, did not leave the state, but simply made their way north to Sacramento. As Business Insider noted regarding the CBRE data, the number of moves from San Francisco to Sacramento increased 70% in 2020, which outnumbers the amount of people leaving for cities in other states, such as Tampa, San Antonio, and Austin.
"The pandemic came just as the bulk of the large and increasingly affluent millennial cohort had reached prime family formation age," the report states. "Consequently, millennials had been trending toward more suburban residencies even before COVID-19 came on the scene."

And it's turned downtown Austin into a shit hole, a.k.a. Little San Francisco.
[STARTRIBUNE] El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele refused to meet with a visiting senior U.S. diplomat this week over what he sees as a pattern of slights from Democrats and the Biden administration, according to two aides of the Central American leader.
Bukele's decision not to meet with Ricardo Zuniga, the Biden administration's envoy to the so-called Northern Triangle countries of Central America, follows a similar snub he allegedly received from U.S. officials during an unannounced trip to Washington in February.
It also comes just days after Bukele's government awarded $1.2 million lobbying contract to the State Department's former top career diplomat in a bid to improve ties with the new American president.
Zuniga traveled Wednesday to El Salvador following talks in Guatemala focused on immigration amid a surge in child migrants colonists on the U.S. border. Upon arrival, he immediately announced a $2 million U.S. contribution to an international commission seeking to strengthen the fight against corruption, which Biden officials see as one of the root causes of illegal immigration.
Zuniga had hoped to see Bukele before heading back to Washington on Thursday, according to a State Department front man.

[The Last Refuge] Perhaps the most consistent question about the installed dementia patient occupying the oval office, is about who actually is planning the policy, scheduling the implementation and giving Biden his instructions after his breakfast pudding. For those who have followed politics closely, the answer has always been obvious: Barack Obama and the Chicago crew.
JoeBama is not a meme, nor is it a snarky slap at the current White House occupant, it is a reality.
Barack Obama and his ideologues (who took over the DNC) are now completely in control over the leftist policy execution. Obama with the help of his former administration crew, eliminated the remaining remnants of the Clinton machine, installed Tom Perez and then set about absorbing the AME church network.... that’s where James Clyburn came in, to endorse Biden as part of the final stages of the plan.
Today, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, the former spokesperson for Obama’s State Department, essentially admitted that Obama’s network was in charge, and Biden receives his instructions from the crew. WATCH:

Soetoro is little more than a convenient 'cut out' a messenger. Who are we not hearing from of lately? All is on schedule and proceeding according to the Deep State central planning, globalist guidelines.
I'm not certain how Plugs and Soetoro communicate. Soetoro sleeps until noon and plugs retires to his basement bunk just after lunch. Staff intermediaries possibly.
[PJ Media] A judge in Michigan has vindicated President Trump by ruling that Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, broke state law when she unilaterally changed election rules concerning absentee balloting in the 2020 election. This ruling legitimizes a key claim made by the Trump legal team in its challenges to the 2020 election.
A major change imposed by Benson was loosening the signature verification requirement for absentee ballots. Michigan Court of Claims Chief Judge Christopher Murray ruled that this change violated Michigan Administrative Procedures Act.

It's the same strategy the news has used for decades.
1. Make a bull$hit claim and talk about it for weeks
2. Make a correction on page 19 in small print after everyone has moved on to the next bull$hit claim knowing most won't update their mental picture of the world based on the retractions.
Works very well with the left. not so much with the right that is skeptical of crazy claims and has folks broadcasting these corrections throughout the right-wing media.
It's super effective brainwashing of the left with deniability.

What is the penalty for this crime?
Seems like a perfectly valid question to ask. Did that not occur to the reporter? Did Matt Margolis go to school to learn journalism? If so, where? I don't think he got his money's worth for the tuition. I mean, I understand that PJ Media is a supposedly conservative outlet but when so-called journalists fail to even ask pertinent questions it makes me wonder. C'mon, young man. Can't you do any better than that?

Matt Margolis, 26, lives in the blue state of Massachusetts. After graduating high school he went to the University of Hartford to study architecture, and graduated summa cum laude and with University Honors in 2002.
In November 2003, Matt founded Blogs For Bush, which quickly became one of the top blogs during the 2004 campaign. Matt was one of the first bloggers to receive credentials to cover the Republican National Convention in New York City. Matt runs a number of other blogs, including GOP Bloggers, and Hub Politics, a blog devoted to Massachusetts politics.
Matt is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Architecture, and works full-time as an architectural designer. He lives near Boston, MA.
So not a trained journalist, but an amateur blogger who became good enough to go pro.

Thank you, tw and Besoeker. So I will confess I studied some journalism many, many years ago. The reason for my confession is so I can tell what one of the professors said, "If you have left obvious questions unanswered in your report then you haven't done your job."
I understand that real journalism has been largely abandoned in favor of blatant propaganda. I think that's not only sad but extremely dangerous.

The best of ‘em answer the not-obvious questions as well, and write up their findings with grace and panache.
I find it fascinating how many Rantburgers, including several moderators current and former, have journalism training— and sometimes professional experience in the field as well. It can be good training to take into other fields, much like engineering and history.
[AMERICANTHINKER] Buried deep in Biden's monster $2.3-trillion "infrastructure" stimulus package is a sneaky little notation that would mandate a federal takeover for local zoning for any district that takes the proffered federal money, coming off such zones' already paid taxes.
According to Stanley Kurtz, writing at National Review:
With the introduction of his massive, $2.3 trillion "infrastructure" bill, President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem mschine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family...... 's campaign to end suburban single-family zoning has begun. If you think this issue was debated and resolved during the 2020 presidential campaign, you are mistaken. It's true that Biden's campaign platform openly and unmistakably pledged to abolish single-family zoning. As soon as President Trump made an issue of that pledge, however, Biden went virtually silent on the issue and the Democrat-supporting press falsely denied that Biden had any designs on single-family zoning at all. Now that he's president, Biden's infrastructure bill openly includes programs designed to "eliminate" single-family zoning (which Biden calls "exclusionary zoning").
Kurtz's account is a total green-eyeshade number made easily readable, explaining that Biden's plan is to abolish single-family zoning by holding out the carrot of federal funding to suburban towns.
The wildly overreaching Obama-Biden era Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) regulation — which Biden has pledged to revive — works in a similar fashion. The difference is that by adding another gigantic pot of federal money to the Community Development Block Grants that are the lure of AFFH, Biden makes it that much harder for suburbs to resist applying — and that much more punishing to jurisdictions that forgo a share of the federal taxes they've already paid so as to protect their right to self-rule.
In other words, take the king's penny, do the king's bidding. The Biden plan would nationalize zoning in the hands of the feds (just as the feds would take over elections with the congressional Democrats' despicable H.R. 1), meaning that anyone who would like the peace of living in the suburbs, and might enjoy seeing his kids go out and ride bikes without supervision, is s[ooo] out of luck. The feds would take over in what they claim is the name of racial "balancing."

Which means an attack on the middle class goal or dream of single family home 🏡 ownership.

The target is suburbs - this is one front, the Green New Deal provides another. People are easier to control when they aren't spread out. Furthermore, high population density seems to closely correlate with collectivism (reminds me of that old psychology study on rats packed close together...)

They have been trying this for a decade or so. I doubt this would pass a court muster, but between the gun seizure, forcing states to do what the feds want, cutting off revenue to states that don't toe the line, stealing money from red states and giving it to blue states... who really thinks the red states will just sit here and continue to take this.

But then you know all those people streaming across the border right now can't go on living in convention centers and on army bases. Biden needs to put them into cities where they can take our jobs, fill our schools and become good Democrats.

[DAILYCALLER] President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body.... falsely suggested that Americans who purchase firearms at gun shows don’t need to first pass a background check prior to the transaction.
Biden said background checks aren’t required for firearm purchases at gun shows during his remarks at the White House Thursday. However, there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly... federal law already mandates firearm dealers to initiate a background check on prospective buyers at stores, gun shows or anywhere a transaction may occur, according to the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action.
"Most people don’t know that you walk into a store and buy a gun, you have a background check," Biden said during the ceremony Thursday, in which he announced a slew of executive actions on gun violence. "But, you go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want — no background check."

I "could" buy a firearm on the street w/o a background check.
Gun Laws ONLY make it harder for CITIZENS to obtain a firearm. Criminals with $$$ can purchase/rent a firearms on the streets with a few mins notice.

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Hunter Biden released his 'tell-all' memoir Beautiful Things on Tuesday, but left out shocking details
DailyMail.com can reveal those secrets after contents of his abandoned laptop - including a cache of 103,000 text messages, 154,000 emails, more than 2,000 photos - were verified by top forensics experts
Hunter left his MacBook Pro laptop at a Wilmington, Delaware computer repair shop in April 2019 and never returned for it
In texts from 2019, Hunter begged his father to run for president to salvage Hunter's own reputation
Hunter repeatedly dodged police action against him, despite constantly dealing with drug dealers and prostitutes and having multiple run-ins with the law
The president's son was guarded by a Secret Service agent while on a 2018 drug and prostitute binge in Hollywood, despite not being entitled to protection at the time
Hunter appeared to be obsessed with making porn films with prostitutes, videos and photos on his laptop show
Texts also show Joe Biden was afraid his conversations with Hunter were being hacked even as they discussed his White House bid

I now see that they knew the laptop info was going to get out and confirmed, and they wanted to frame the narrative around the least egregious material with sympathy ribbons.
