[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Obama arrived in Germany yesterday and made a speech to 14,000 people at the World Leadership Summit in Lanxess Arena, Cologne, German newspaper Bild reported.
Today, the pair were believed to have discussed Trans-Atlantic relations during the hour and a half exchange - and Ms Merkel showed her appreciation with a hug and a kiss on Obama's cheek.
It comes as a turbulent relationship has evolved between Germany and the US, with President Trump lashing out at Ms Merkel for lowering the country's military spending to below Nato targets.
The latest German budget plans, revealed last month, showed defence spending drop well below the two per cent of GDP expected from Nato members.
US ambassador Richard Grenell said the cuts were a 'worrisome signal', while President Trump repeatedly accused Germany of freeloading on US military might.
But Ms Merkel rejected the criticism, saying Germany will not cut foreign aid to raise military spending.

All Germans agree that an idiot should pay for their defense. Many do not even understand that they require a defense. They think friendliness with Russia is the way of the future. If they had to pay their fair share, they'd have to cut their welfare state and their entire system would collapse. No surprise they gave the finger to Uncle Sucker when we told them to stop freeloading.

They don't care anymore. We are owed mentality like we have here. Hostility towards Trump because he advocates less dependency on the American tit. Obama just tells them what they want to hear but never delivers. Merely a media side show. Obama desperately looking for airtime.

Welfare states breed an entitlement culture, the unemployed should be made to write thankyou-taxpayer letters to remind them who's backs they are on.
Military welfare states breed an even more dangerous entitlement to peace. Their no-delusional opponents also get a say in that.
[Fox News] - Former Sen. Harry Reid loses civil lawsuit over exercise-device injury Former alleged Pederast, Spittoon-washer and sheet changer at Searchlight Cat House, "The Searchlight Strangler"
After about an hour of deliberations Friday, a jury in Las Vegas rejected former U.S. Sen. Harry Reid’s lawsuit against the maker of an exercise band that Reid claimed was responsible for injuries he suffered in January 2015.
The injuries included blindness in one eye for Reid, 79, a Nevada Democrat and former party leader who asserted in his lawsuit that his injuries forced him to retire early from the Senate, where he had served for three decades.
The eight-member jury’s decision followed eight days of civil trial testimony, during which Reid never proved that the device he claims he was using when he was injured was a TheraBand made by Hygenic Corp. of Ohio.

Blindness shouldn't be a problem for him.
When he was running for LV mayor against Bob Stupak Harry proclaimed he was 'legally blind' because the DMV forced him to wear glasses when he drove.
I expect his 'outing' was more of a church thing so Romney could get a spot in the Senate.
[Hot Air] Even on the Creepy Uncle Joe-o-meter, this pegs hard into the red zone. Just days after claiming that "I get it" about a number of emerging complaints from women about his, er, "tactile style of politics," Joe Biden poked fun at the complaints while hugging a young boy on stage. I’m not sure where ridicule lands on the Kubler-Ross progression of grief, but here we are:
Dude. Not only is this too soon, it’s also too weird. It might have been a funny joke several weeks down the line after having done an appropriate amount of public penance, but only with a willing adult capable of giving informed consent. The way to ensure that people think you "get it" is not to us a child as a prop to make fun of inappropriate-contact complaints. The boy doesn’t look like he’s all that keen to be getting the Uncle Joe side-hug in the first place, and it goes without saying that he’ll get an earful on the playground if any of his chums take a look at this clip. The Michael Jackson soundtrack choice was awkward as well

OK, the guy's a creep. But don't count him out so soon. His audience was yukking it up while he was handling that kid. This is gonna be a non-issue. Gotta get him on the border, the economy and trade policy. He's not ready for that fork.

Personally, I hope he gets the nom and brings 'Boxcar' Stacey along for the ride. Old white guy, he'll never get the you-know-who vote even with the Boxcar. Orange man will tear him to shreds.
NEW YORK (AP) ‐ Democratic presidential candidates on Friday touted their plans on criminal justice reform, the study of reparations and other racial equality issues, highlighting the critical role black voters will play in choosing the party’s 2020 nominee.
Speaking at the National Action Network’s conference in New York, California Sen. Kamala Harris pledged to double the size of the Justice Department’s civil rights division and to sign legislation creating a commission to study reparations to African Americans hurt by slavery. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders also said he would sign that reparations bill, even as he emphasized the importance of a broader anti-poverty policy.
"We know that they are using the Department of Justice in a way that is about politics and not about pursuit of equality," Harris, one of two black leading candidates for the party’s nomination, told the receptive audience. Earlier on Friday, she told a radio interviewer she would be open to choosing a woman as her running mate if she wins the nomination to take on President Donald Trump.
Sanders, who fell short in his 2016 presidential bid but is a front-runner in 2020, elated the crowd by jabbing at Trump as "a racist, sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe and a religious bigot."

FREE STUFF!!!
(except for the people who have to pay for it like the descendants of the 250,000 white soldiers who died putting the 13th Amendment into the Constitution)

Trump seems to be working the criminal justice reform angle. Jobs, too. That leaves reparations and free stuff. I say go for it! Worst that can happen is you alienate most of America, Trump wins the popular vote and all you chumps that ditched the Electoral College are weeping in your soy lattes.

Damn - that would be a very interesting turn of events, wouldn't it? I think it's CO, OH and a few other states that have recently chosen to award their EC votes to the winner of the nation's popular vote. I'd love to see them try and explain it away & scramble back to normalcy. Well, as normal as Democrats are going to get...

Projection. She's got a lotta damn nerve spouting that crap. Maybe it'd shut her up if a few of Obama's DoJ people were sitting in jail...even better if Obama was sitting in there with them.

We have a proposal to that effect in Ohio, Raj, but it has to get over a few hurdles before getting onto the ballot in November, according to PJ Media.

Raj, not to worry. If Trump wins the popular vote, you know there is a judge somewhere that will invalidate all the states' electoral votes going to him. And, more to the point, so do the people who are pushing this whole thing.

Wow, 1984 gets more predictive all the time, since some of the barnyard animals are really getting promises to be more equal than the rest of us.
[Breitbart] Some Democrats in Congress are suggesting that Attorney General William Barr broke the law in announcing the principal conclusions of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report last week, according to a report.
Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) ‐ who once asked during a hearing whether Guam could tip over and capsize if more Marines were added, suggested Friday that Barr’s handling of the report may have "obstructed justice."
"If it turns out that he has obstructed justice by how he has handled the Mueller report that will be a deep stain on his legacy," said Rep. Hank Johnson, member of the House Judiciary Committee, according to Politico.
Barr, in a letter to leaders of the Judiciary Committee, wrote that the special counsel did not establish any collusion, conspiracy, or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia.
He also said Mueller declined to take a position on whether the president obstructed the investigation, which he said left him to make the decision. Barr said he, in consultation with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, concluded Trump did not obstruct the special counsel investigation.
Democrats have slammed Barr’s characterizations of Mueller’s principal conclusions, and demanded that he release the report by April 2. Barr notified them that he intended to release the report by mid-April, if not earlier, as he scrubbed the report of four categories of legally protected information.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] In some circles that’s what is taught as an acceptable substitute for unwelcome hugging and kissing in moments of strong emotion. Our rabbi used to do that when the bar mitzvah kids came up to start leading the service on their big day — just a moment together, quietly finding their center before it all began — in public, so no one would later accuse him of secretly behaving inappropriately. I believe teachers are supposed to gently pat their students on the shoulder, rather than allow hugging, for the same reason.
[BIZPACREVIEW] Louis Farrakhan told a crowd in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,... in February that he is Jesus, the Messiah. He is Nehemiah Scudder.
"God does not love this world," he said in his Nation of Islam Saviour’s Day keynote address. "God never sent Jesus to die for this world. Jesus died because he was 2,000 years too soon to bring about the end of the civilization of the Jews. He never was on a cross, there was no Calvary for that Jesus." And the Number Nineteen is a pregnant number...
Farrakhan went on to claim that he is the real son of God, sent to save the world. Walk on water for us, Louie.
"The real story is what I tried to tell you from the beginning," he said. "It didn’t happen back there. It’s happening right while you’re alive looking at it. I represent the Messiah. I represent the Jesus and I am that Jesus. If I am not, take my life."
According to a report on the speech published on foxnews.com on Thursday afternoon, Farrakhan told his followers that some people reject him because "the white man" has said he is evil, that he’s a hater and an anti-Semite.
"Here I am in front of you," he said. "I represent the Jesus that saves. I don’t represent somebody that came to judge you and me for our errors and mistakes...Everywhere I went I found myself rejected. My black people, they accepted me."
He said white people are now "frightening the hell out of black people" with college presidents punished for allowing him or anyone who represents him to appear on a college campus, saying they fear what’s in his mouth, which is from "the Honorable Elijah Muhammad."
Farrakhan also took the opportunity to explain what he meant when he wrote on Twitter on Oct. 16, 2018: "I’m not an anti-Semite. I’m anti-Termite."
According to Fox News, Farrakhan said he didn’t mean he thought all Jews are termites, but that the "richest 10 percent of Americans" who own "84 percent of all stocks" are the termites.
On a visit to Iran in the fall of 2018, Farrakhan led a "Death to Israel" chant.

So is he asking to be scrouged, whipped, forced to drag a cross up hills through a city, nailed to the cross and then stabbed in the ribs? Then be checked in 3 days to see if he's risen from the dead?
